Why the Media is Now Silent About the Colorado Shooting by Trans and Gay Teen Suspects

ByThe Red Elephants -

It’s Very Simple, it Now Does Not Fit Their Narrative. But the Bigger Problem is What All Americans are Ignoring…

The media became suddenly silent about the shooting at the synagogue in Poway California after we found out that it was an off-duty border patrol agent who stopped a massacre form happening. The media knew that they could not win that particular narrative battle, so they halted the 24 hour segments that we usually see when something like this happens.

The same media has also become suddenly silent about Tuesday’s shooting at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch, CO. Why? Because one of the suspects was transgender, the other was gay, and both openly voiced their hatred towards Christians and Trump. The media can not win this narrative battle, so they went effectively silent yet again.

This happens often for breaking stories when we don’t know the suspect yet. If the story is big enough, it will get national news attention until we find out if the suspect does or does not support the mainstream narrative.

For the stories that happen quickly where we know the suspect almost immediately, it is a different story. Like the black man who walked into a white church in Tennessee and shot multiple people in revenge for the Dylann Roof attack, or the story of the black man who said he wanted to kill all white people and proceeded to kill 6 white people. The media just doesn’t report on these stories at all. They know right away and up front, that these stories have zero potential to promote more hatred towards white people, Trump, or Christians.

They also know they won’t cause riots to breakout that they can cover because white people don’t often riot.

Who Were the Suspects?

The first suspect is Devon Erickson, a gay 18-year-old high school student who has worked as an actor in Colorado. He was identified by authorities as one of the two shooters accused of wounding nine students in a K-12 STEM school located in Douglas County.

The second accused shooter has now been identified as Alec McKinney. You can read about Alec here. Alec is identified in court records as Maya McKinney, but a Denver television station reports that McKinney is transgender and transitioning to male. The judge didn’t allow video or photos in McKinney’s court hearing; Noelle Phillips of The Denver Post reported that McKinney’s lawyer said McKinney goes by Alec and uses the pronoun he.

A friend of both of them wrote on Instagram that Devon “did not do what he did because he’s liberal or to make a statement. He did it due to internal struggles. They’re both struggling with mental health issues and this is a time for awareness. Alec did not do this because he’s trans, but had people supported him in the way that he needed and deserved, he would not have struggled so much that he got pushed over the edge.”

The Motive?

A confirmed motive has not yet been determined by the police but we know that at least one of the shooters expressed disdain for Christians.

Facebook posts reveal that 18-year-old Devon Erickson previously expressed hatred for Christians, according to Heavy.

“You know what I hate? All these Christians who hate gays, yet in the bible, it says in Deuteronomy 17:12-13, if someone doesn’t do what their priest tells them to do, they are supposed to die. It has plenty of crazy stuff like that,” Erickson wrote in one Facebook post several years ago. “But all they get out of it is ‘ewwwwww gays.’”

A day after Election Day in 2016, he shared a video from Seth Myers’ “Late Night” show blasting Trump and groused about Christians in another post two years earlier.

Erickson also shared a pro-Obama post from Occupy Democrats in 2015.

“In just six years I nearly tripled the stock market, cut unemployment in half, ended two wars, cut the uninsured rate in half, brought gas down to $2.75, and cut the annual Bush deficit by two-thirds. Oh, and I got bin Laden,” reads the post, which features a photo of Obama.

Why Does this Keep Happening?

This is very simple. It’s not a right-wing problem, it’s not a Trump problem, it’s not a trans problem, it’s not a gay problem, it’s not a gun problem, it’s not a white problem or black problem. It’s a societal breakdown problem.

None of this ever happened in the 1940’s. None of this happened in the 1950’s. Only once did a mass shooting happen in the 1960’s and only a couple in the 1970’s. This was very rare in the 1980’s as well. This is true even though we effectively had the same exact type of weapons back then as we do today. According to a database compiled by Mother Jones, over 90% of the mass shootings that happen in this country are committed with handguns, much like what the shooters used in the Colorado STEM school shooting. Those same 10 round semi-automatic handguns that are used in most mass shootings, and also most shootings in general for that matter, were also very prevalent in ownership back in 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

So why is it that these shootings became more of a frequent occurrence in the 90’s and even more so today?

It is because society is in fact breaking down. Ironically enough, one of the shooters wrote “f*ck society” on their car prior to the shooting.

Car towed from #stemshooting suspect’s home apparently has “F*** SOCIETY” spray painted on the side. Also “666” and a what looks like a pentagram sprayed on the hood. pic.twitter.com/e6QX3lq4v3

America is becoming increasingly diverse, there is no longer cohesion and homogeneity in America as there once was before. America went from a 90% white Christian country in the 1950’s to whites and Christians becoming the absolute minority in about 20 years from today.

Christianity and religiosity in general has also drastically declined. Experts predict that the population that subscribes to any particular religion today, will be a very small minority in America come 2050. It is also important to note that in the 1950’s violent crime was three times lower than it is today in regards to robbery, rape, aggravated assault, and home break-ins.

What logical person in their right mind would agree that a country going from homogenous, prosperous, clean, high-trust, safe, cohesive, mono-racial, and Christian to inconsistent, non-homogenous, low trust, dirty, unsafe, multi-racial, and athiest or agnostic would be a good thing? Not to mention the fact that our country is now divided politically as well, and we have what seems to be a massive increase in people per capita identifying as gay or transgender. America is also becoming extremely overpopulated. The country went from 200 million in 1950 to around 430 million predicted in 2050. Not because we’re having kids because we aren’t, but because of immigration and the children that they are having.

American and most of the west has been below replacement birthrate since 1970.

Diversity is not our strength, unity is. And you don’t get unity in a diverse country.

Buckle up, this Weimar-style societal breakdown is going to be a wild ride.
