Just got back from a viewing of 13 Hours with my brothers at a new, local theater that just opened up. A kind of Alamo Draft House-style place that serves food and beer.

Food and beer were good. Beer was from a local brewery, Old Firehouse Brewery. Had their Code 3 Scottish Red Ale. Good stuff!

Anyway, the movie was excellent! Michael Bay did a great job telling the story.

They didn't mention Hillary or Obama by name but there were several scenes where it was made clear that the YouTube video story/protest was utter bunk and that Washington not only saw what was happening in real time thanks to drone coverage but also was responsible for not sending help from a couple resources.

This was basically Black Hawk Down 2, and that was even said bluntly in the film. Don't know if that was artistic license or if it was really said. It may very well have actually been said since the guys that were involved in the event were involved in the movie.

There should most certainly be people in jail over the whole fiasco just like with Black Hawk Down.

If you're looking to go see a movie at the theaters, definitely recommend it!
