If you've not switched by now, you should.
I've downloaded it and posting with 3.5 now.

Why?
Yep, got it earlier today. Seems a bit speedier.
A word of caution though, at least for me, a number of my extensions haven't yet been updated and wouldn't work. I ended up using the Nightly Tester Tools extension to force them to install but it is still a little buggy (my closed tabs button up top won't show closed tabs).
Had a drive flake on me so I removed the data before it failed. Firefox was on that drive. Problem was, the saved data was on a removable drive.
I copied the Mozilla Firefox directory to my main drive and it would not work, but that's fine, i wanted my bookmarks and extensions anyway. I went on IE and downloaded 3.5 FF. It really is faster, well, also having it on my root drive helps I am sure. Best of all I have all my bookmarks and extensions.
3.5 installed. Nothing bad yet. Got a nice "+" to create a new tab on the fly.
Phil,
Take a look at MozBackup. It's a handy tool for making a backup of your FF instance, including bookmarks, extensions, and even browser history and cookies.
I use it to create identical instances of FF on all the computers I have.
Rick, The + is a handy thing and now I can remove the one I made in my top bar and free up extra buttons.
Ryan, Thanks for that tool. It will come in handy as I am contemplating my next main computer to utilize a solid state drive for the OS and an added drive for programs. I actually have all my FF cookies, bookmarks etc. I had the directory, but the program was set to run off D and D was full formatted after I moved all the files manually. The biggest problem there was D had been my old C and was formatted fat32 while the other drives are NTFS. Now they are all NTFS and I will see if D is ok or truly flaking.
I moved your post Phil. While I've tried Chrome, I haven't really given it the full review so maybe we can get a discussion going as to the merits of it.
