Welcome to the Writer's Corner

Since there seems to be both some writing skill as well as the drive to do so, I thought I'd throw this forum here for folks to practice.

Please feel free to start a thread here if you want to write a story.

I'm going to start the first thread. It's a participation thread.

Here's the rules for my first thread. I'll write a paragraph or three to introduce the theme, a character or two and the genre. The rest of you will read the post then write the next paragraph.

A paragraph must have at least one word, proper grammar, punctuation and capitalization to be considered a paragraph. (Obviously, there are times when one word sentences can exist and be a whole paragraph albeit, rarely.)

I'll post that thread when I have a moment.
