Does anyone know if the military passed out pictures of the 1st flag raising on Mt. Surabachi?
I remember my Dad showing me one from his military scrapbook a long time ago. It was not the big flag and I remember him being a little pissed off that it was not as famous. I watched a TV show on the Smithsonian channel today about the photographer.
