The charges line up with several of the sealed indictments requesting wiretaps, PRTT orders, and search warrants which were leaked by the DOJ recently and reported on by the Daily Crusader (see our full report on the DOJ’s leaked search warrant indictments: PART ONE HERE and PART TWO HERE)
This shows that Clinton Foundation may well be very close to being rolled up; these charges, while very serious, still do not explain some of the leaked PRTT/wiretap orders, such as the National Security orders, the drug trafficking orders, or the orders related to child trafficking or providing aid to foreign terrorist organizations.
The charges filed Tuesday lay out a scheme by which participants would hide their assets in foreign tax havens away from the prying eyes of US and other sovereign nations taxation authorities, presumably to avoid paying taxes and possibly to have assets available should they ever need to flee their respective home countries for their alleged treason.
Authorities have successfully arrested three of the four men; Dirk Brauer, a 54-year-old German investment advisor for Mossfon Asset Management; Richard Gaffey, a 74-year-old U.S. accountant; and Harald Joachim von der Goltz, an 81-year-old German-born client. Mossack Fonseca attorney Ramses Owens, a 50-year-old from Panama, remains at large.
The charges were all levied by U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman in the Southern District of New York, which FBIAnon heavily suggested in 2016 would be where the Clinton Foundation would be taken down.
In a statement, Berman said: “For decades, the defendants, employees and a client of global law firm Mossack Fonseca, allegedly shuffled millions of dollars through off-shore accounts and created shell companies to hide fortunes. In fact, as alleged, they had a playbook to repatriate un-taxed money into the U.S. banking system. Now, their international tax scheme is over, and these defendants face years in prison for their crimes.”
One of the clients, listed as “Client 3” began cooperating with the DOJ, using voluntary wiretaps and by meeeting with undercover agents in America and overseas, in January 2017, heavily lending credence to Daily Crusader’s theory (see our full report on the DOJ’s leaked search warrant indictments: PART ONE HERE and PART TWO HERE) that some of the Cabal crimes being handled by DOJ were necessarily ordered investigated by the President, due to the nature of their “50 USC” statute violations.
Eleven charges were outlined in the indictment against the four men.

Four individuals have been charged in an indictment unsealed today in the Southern District of New York with wire fraud, tax fraud, money laundering and other offenses in connection with their alleged roles in a decades-long criminal scheme perpetrated by Mossack Fonseca & Co. (“Mossack Fonseca”), a Panamanian-based global law firm, and related entities.
Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman for the Southern District of New York, Chief Don Fort of IRS Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), and Special Agent in Charge Angel M. Melendez of U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York made the announcement today.
Ramses Owens, 50, a Panamanian citizen; Dirk Brauer, 54, a German citizen; Richard Gaffey, a U.S. citizen, of Medfield, Massachusetts; and Harald Joachim Von Der Goltz, 81, a German citizen, have been charged in an 11-count indictment. Owens, Gaffey and Von Der Goltz are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit tax evasion, one count of wire fraud, and one count of money laundering conspiracy. Owens and Brauer have been charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Gaffey and Von Der Goltz are additionally charged with four counts of willful failure to file an FBAR. Von Der Goltz has been additionally charged with two counts of making false statements.
Three of the four defendants named in the indictment have been arrested. Brauer, who worked as an investment manager for Mossfon Asset Management, S.A. (“Mossfon Asset Management”), an asset management company closely affiliated with Mossack Fonseca, was arrested in Paris, France, on Nov. 15. Von Der Goltz, a former U.S. resident and taxpayer, was arrested in London, United Kingdom, on Dec. 3. Gaffey, a U.S.-based accountant, was arrested in Boston, Massachusetts earlier today. Owens, a Panamanian attorney who worked for Mossack Fonseca, remains at large.
Hacking Hillary: Panama Papers Show Danger of Clinton’s Secret Server
In a recent article in the Observer, John Schindler, a security expert and former National Security Agency analyst, examined one of the U.S.-related connections associated with the Panama Papers: Russia’s largest bank, Sberbank, uses The Podesta Group as its lobbying arm in Washington, D.C. The Podesta Group’s CEO is Tony Podesta, brother of John Podesta. Of course, John Podesta served as former President Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, was an adviser to President Barack Obama and is currently chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. The Podesta Group is helping Sberbank (“Savings Bank” in Russian) improve its public image, so to speak. As Mr. Schindler points out, Sberbank is functionally controlled by the Kremlin—in other words, it’s controlled by Mr. Putin. “Funds moving through Sberbank are regularly used to support clandestine Russian intelligence operations, while the bank uses its offices abroad as cover for the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service,” Mr. Schindler noted.
Hillary campaign chief, Clinton Foundation, in deep on international money-laundering
John Podesta
NEW YORK – Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign manager, John Podesta, was on the executive board of a client of the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca, which is at the heart of the the Panama Papers investigation into massive global offshore money-laundering.
The company for which Podesta served as a board member, Joule, also received $35 million from a Putin-connected Russian government fund at the same time then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spearheaded the transfer of U.S. advanced technology, some with military uses, as part of her “reset” strategy with Russia, according to a report titled “From Russia With Money,” released in August by the Government Accountability Institute.
“Clinton Cash” author Peter Schweizer is president of GAI, and Steve Bannon, the CEO of the Trump campaign, is a director.
The Russian entities that funneled money to Joule and its related companies, and ultimately to Podesta, include a controversial Russian investor with ties to the Russian government, Viktor Vekselberg, and his Renova Group, a Russian conglomerate with interests in oil, energy and telecommunication.
Vekselberg is a board member of Rusnano, the Russian State Investment Fund, as well as president of the Skolkovo Foundation, named for Russia’s version of Silicon Valley.
Rusnano made a multi-million dollar in Joule Unlimited, a small Massachusetts-based energy company owned by Joule Global Holdings B.V. in the Netherlands, and Joule Global Stichting, the ultimate controlling entity.
Podesta, it turns out, has been paid an undisclosed amount for serving on the executive board of Joule Global Stichting, which he neglected to report to regulatory authorities in the U.S. He also has received consulting fees from the Wyss Foundation, a group controlled by Swiss billionaire Hansjoerg Wyss, an investor in Joule Energy.
To complete the circle, Vekselberg, the Renova Group, the Skolkovo Foundation and Wyss all have ties to the Clinton Foundation, either as substantial donors or as participants in the Clinton Global Initiative.
Joule Global Stichting and Joule Global Holdings figure prominently as a client of the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca, which is at the heart of the Panama Papers investigation into offshore money-laundering operations on a massive international scale.
Schweizer’s “Clinton Cash” documents Uranium One funneled millions to the Clinton Foundation as the Russian government gained ownership of the company.
Hillary ‘reset’ and Podesta’s unreported gains
John Podesta’s personal role in Clinton Foundation offshore banking operations is demonstrated in the major technology transfer from the United States to Russia conducted as part of Hillary Clinton’s “reset” policy. The move greatly enhanced the Russian military’s technological capacities, according to both the FBI and the U.S. Army.
The Russia report’s executive summary lays out the case against Podesta:
Russian government officials and American corporations participated in the technology transfer project overseen by Hillary Clinton’s State Department that funneled tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation.
A Putin-connected Russian government fund transferred $35 million to a small company with Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta on its executive board, which included senior Russian officials.
Podesta failed to reveal, as required by law on his federal financial disclosures, his membership on the board of this offshore company.
Podesta also headed up a think tank that wrote favorably about the Russian reset while apparently receiving millions from Kremlin-linked Russian oligarchs via an offshore LLC.
In June and July 2011, while he was advising Clinton on State Department policy, Podesta joined the boards of Joule Unlimited, Joule Global Holdings and Joule Global Stichting.
The Government Accountability Institute report noted Joule was a new company, founded in 2007, pioneering a technology based on harnessing solar energy. Podesta consulted for a foundation run by one of the investors in Joule Energy, Hansjoerg Wyss, who in turn was a major Clinton Foundation donor.
The report documented the Wyss Foundation has given from $1 million to $5 million to the Clinton Foundation. Podesta was paid $87,000 by the Wyss Foundation in 2013, according to federal tax records.
In his 2014 federal government disclosure filing, Podesta declared he divested stock options from Joule, but the disclosure does not cover the years 2011-2012.
Joule Global Stichting was established in Amsterdam on March 14, 2011.
Podesta joined the company’s executive board on June 25, 2011. Joule Stichting is a foundation, but it’s not strictly a foundation in the charitable sense. A foundation of this type, a Dutch Stichting, is a popular means for reducing one’s tax burden, as noted on the website of the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca.
The Government Accountability Institute concluded that although Podesta is listed on the corporate records, he failed to disclose his membership on the board of Joule Stichting in his federal financial disclosure forms when he joined the Obama White House as a senior adviser.
Russian government invests
Two months after Podesta joined the board, the Russian government investment fund Rusnano, the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies, founded by Vladimir Putin in 2007, announced it would invest up to $35 million in Joule Unlimited.
“The GAI investigative report says it’s unclear how much, if any, money Podesta made. The reason: Podesta was on the board of three Joule entities, but only listed two on his disclosure; the most important entity, Joule Stichting, he did not list,” Bannon and Schweizer noted. “Why Podesta failed to reveal, as required by law on his federal financial disclosures, his membership on the board of this offshore company is presently unknown.”
Bannon and Schweizer further reported flows of funds from Russia during the “reset” to Podesta-connected entities apparently didn’t end with Joule Energy, as Podesta’s far-left think tank, Center for American Progress, CAP, took in $5.25 million from the Sea Change Foundation between 2010 and 2013. The Sea Change Foundation, it turns out, ties into various entities specifically named and investigated in the Panama Papers, including Klein Ltd. and Troika Dialog Ltd.
Here is what the Government Accountability Institute report had to say about the Sea Change Foundation:
Who was funding Sea Change Foundation? According to tax records, Sea Change Foundation at the time was receiving a large infusion of funds from a mysterious Bermuda-based entity called ‘Klein, Ltd.’ … Who owns Klein?
It is impossible to say exactly, given corporate secrecy laws in Bermuda. But the registered agent and lawyers who set up the offshore entity are tied to a handful of Russian business entities including Troika Dialog, Ltd. Leadership includes Ruben Vardanyan, an ethnic Armenian who is a mega oligarch in Putin’s Russia. Vardanyan also served on the board of Joule Energy with John Podesta.
“Why Hillary Clinton’s State Department and her campaign manager were tied up in this raises serious questions that demand answers and transparency,” Bannon and Schweizer concluded.

Clinton Foundation ‘Pay to Play’ Model Under Investigation [Infographic]
Seven documented examples of when payments to the Clintons and their foundation coincided with political favors

The Clinton Foundation has raised more than $2 billion since its inception in 1997, and Bill and Hillary Clinton have been paid more than $150 million for delivering speeches. Notably, these payments increaseddramatically after Hillary Clinton took office as secretary of state in 2009.
The tens of millions of dollars that flowed directly to the Clintons or their foundation, from foreign governments or other entities (or “benefactors”) who could benefit from Secretary Clinton’s actions, seem to pose inherent conflicts of interest.
The foundation is currently being probed by U.S. Attorney John Huber—who was assigned by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions—for alleged wrongdoing.
“Mr. Huber with the Department of Justice and FBI has been having an investigation, at least part of his task was to look at the Clinton Foundation and what may or may not have happened as it relates to improper activity with that charitable foundation,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) told The Hill on Nov. 20. A scheduled testimony by Huber before Congress was postponed in response to the funeral of late President George H.W. Bush.
The Clintons’ apparent conflicts were concealed and their potential culpability has been mitigated by several factors: the memorandum of understanding (MOU) reached with Obama’s presidential transition team; special government employee (SGE) waivers; and the State Department’s ethics review apparatus.
The MOU was an agreement between the Clinton Foundation and the Obama transition team that outlined certain requirements for Hillary Clinton’s confirmation as secretary of state in 2009. The MOU identified a set of protocols that supposedly addressed concerns about possible foreign influence.
The foundation promised to observe these protocols—including, primarily, the increased and timely disclosure of payments. These essential requirements included the annual publication of Clinton Foundation donors and restrictions on donations from foreign governments.
The MOU satisfied lawmakers and the media, and Clinton was near-unanimously confirmed in January 2009. However, the MOU was violated almost immediately, and would be so repeatedly (in spirit and in letter) throughout Clinton’s tenure. For example, from the beginning of Clinton’s tenure in 2009, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) never reported any of its foreign donors, as acknowledged by CHAI spokeswoman Maura Daley in 2015. Other significant violations include the failure to report donors annually, the failure to disclose foreign-government donations, and the failure to submit donations and speech payments for ethics reviews.
Absent the blanket immunity document, every payment to the Clintons from foreign entities with interests that Secretary Clinton could influence was, at best, a potential conflict of interest and, at worst, a bribe.
Clinton State Department’s ‘Special’ Employees
In addition to the tens of millions in foreign funds that flowed to the Clinton Foundation, the Clintons received tens of millions of dollars in the form of Bill Clinton’s speaking fees and consulting arrangements. Instead of these payments being reviewed by neutral or third-party ethics officials, they were reviewed by the State Department under Hillary Clinton and the process specifically involved longtime Clinton lawyer Cheryl Mills.
It is worth noting that Hillary Clinton’s State Department operated without an inspector general for the entirety of her tenure—an unprecedented duration without a watchdog in place. Furthermore, Clinton granted SGE waivers to her closest staffers—such as Mills, Huma Abedin, Declan Kelly, and approximately 100 others—that allowed these staffers to work for both the State Department and other for-profit entities. SGE status is essentially a conflict of interest waiver. The controversial SGE waiver allowed her to simultaneously work for Clinton, the State Department, the Clinton Foundation, and consulting firm Teneo Strategies. For example, Teneo—a for-profit firm co-founded by Doug Band—paid Abedin $355,000, while State paid her $135,000 as an SGE. Abedin frequently corresponded with Clinton Foundation and Teneo executive Band and helped grant favors to Clinton Foundation donors and Teneo clients.
Teneo & ‘Bill Clinton Inc.’
Clinton Foundation official Band is a longtime personal assistant to Bill Clinton who helped capitalize and expand the Clinton Foundation in 2001. Emails first revealed by Judicial Watch show that from the beginning of Hillary Clinton’s tenure, Band frequently emailed Clinton State Department aides requesting favors for Foundation donors. Abedin would usually respond immediately to indicate the favor request had been received and was under consideration. Favors (described below) were granted to foundation donors, leading to widespread criticisms of “pay to play.”
Band’s firm, Teneo, was founded by Band and longtime Clinton friend and fundraiser Kelly in November 2009. Kelly raised funds for Hillary Clinton’s campaigns since 2000 and raised more than $2 million for her 2008 presidential bid. In September 2009, Hillary Clinton appointed Kelly to the State Department as “special economic envoy.” While at the State Department, Kelly received an SGE waiver and continued to advise his for-profit clients. Teneo hired Bill Clinton in 2011 as an adviser but “changed the relationship” after criticism that it had the appearance of conflicts. (STEPHEN JAFFE/AFP/Getty Images) A leaked 2011 internal memo drafted by Band revealed Teneo had approximately 20 clients—many of whom are also Clinton donors. In his memo, Band described Teneo as an agent for “Bill Clinton, Inc.” that was dedicated to “helping the President secure and engage in for-profit activities—including speeches, books, and advisory service engagements.” Furthermore, Band and Kelly negotiated “in-kind services for the President and his family—for personal travel, hospitality, vacation, and the like.”
Band admits in the memo that Teneo clients were encouraged to make donations to the Clinton Foundation. After Teneo clients became foundation donors, they were encouraged to may payments to “Bill Clinton, Inc.” The 2011 Band memo refutes claims by the Clintons that the Clinton Foundation provided them no direct benefits.
Laureate Hired Bill as Honorary Chancellor, USAID Funds Increased
When Hillary Clinton became secretary of state, she “wrested control of USAID and influence over billions in foreign assistance,” according to a 2011 article by the Daily Beast. She appointed Rajiv Shah as USAID administrator; USAID then funded numerous multimillion-dollar “partnerships” with Clinton benefactors. The grants were made in close proximity to payments to the Clinton Foundation. One example is the timing of USAID grants to a charity run by Bill Clinton’s friend Doug Becker.
Becker is the founder of Laureate Education Inc. and heads the International Youth Foundation (IYF). In 2008, Laureate became a Clinton Global Initiative partner and pledged $10 million in scholarships. Laureate also is listed as a $1 million to $5 million donor to the Clinton Foundation. In 2009, Bill Clinton began giving speeches at Laureate campuses in Spain, Brazil, and Peru.
In August 2009, then-Secretary Clinton told Mills to invite Becker (“who Bill likes a lot”) to a State Department dinner. Hillary Clinton made Laureate part of her State Department Global Partnership, and her undersecretary praised Laureate for “doing such important work.”
In April 2010, Laureate appointed Bill Clinton as their “honorary chancellor” and paid him $16.46 million over the next five years. Also, in 2010, Laureate and the IYF announced a joint $10 million commitment to the Clinton Foundation.
While Becker’s Laureate paid Bill Clinton more than $16 million between 2010 and 2015, USAID grants to Becker’s IYF increased from $9 million in 2009 to $25.5 million in 2012. USAID granted $55 million from 2010 to 2012 to the IYF. Bill Clinton abruptly resigned from Laureate in April 2015—the same month his relationship with Laureate was exposed in the book “Clinton Cash.” USAID operates under “substantial guidance from the Secretary of State,” according to 64 lawmakers in a July 2016 letter to IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, “which creates an appearance that millions of dollars in taxpayer money was channeled to IYF by Secretary Clinton’s State Department as a kickback for her husband’s generous contract as an honorary Laureate chancellor.”
Shangri-La Received Favors From State Department After Hiring Bill
Billionaire Hollywood producer Steve Bing is a longtime Clinton friend and donor. Bing is listed as having donated $10 million to $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. Between 2009 and 2010, Bing’s construction company, Shangri-La Industries LLC, also personally paid Bill Clinton $2.5 million to be an adviser. (Mario Tama/Getty Images) Not long after Bill Clinton’s for-profit consulting arrangement was approved, Bing requested his first favor. On July 16, 2009, a Shangri-La executive, Zachary Schwartz, asked Band for help with reversing the State Department’s denial of a travel visa to Cuba. Band forwarded the request to Abedin, writing, “Please call zach asap on this… Important.” Abedin responded, “I’ll call zach when we land in India.” Two weeks later, Bing’s team was in Cuba, despite the travel restrictions for Americans.
UBS Payments to Clinton Foundation Increase Following Intervention
In 2007, Bradley Birkenfeld, a UBS Group executive-turned-whistleblower, revealed that UBS was encouraging its North American division to facilitate offshore transfers to Switzerland. UBS was soon investigated by the FBI and IRS for potentially facilitating massive criminal tax evasion.
By 2009, the IRS wanted UBS to turn over the secret accounts of approximately 52,000 Americans. In 2009, longtime Clinton fundraiser and Teneo co-founder Kelly introduced Bill Clinton to UBS executive Bob McCann, an Irishman and longtime client of Kelly’s. “Mr. Kelly subsequently asked Mr. McCann to support the foundation … [and] also encouraged Mr. McCann to invite President Clinton to give several paid speeches, which he has done,” according to a leaked memo drafted by Clinton Foundation official Band. (FABRICE COFFRINI/AFP/Getty Images) Shortly after Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration, Secretary Clinton flew to Geneva and met with her Swiss counterpart, Micheline Calmy-Rey, to discuss the UBS crisis. By July 2009, Clinton had fully intervened on UBS’s behalf and negotiated a settlement with the IRS. UBS only had to turn over the details of 4,450 American account holders, instead of the requested 52,000.
After Clinton’s mysterious intervention, UBS’s donations and sponsorships to the Clinton Foundation increased substantially. According to The Wall Street Journal, “Total donations by UBS to the Clinton Foundation grew from less than $60,000 through 2008 to a cumulative total of about $600,000 by the end of 2014, according to the foundation and the bank.” Furthermore, UBS sponsored a series of speeches, moderated by McCann, which directly netted Bill Clinton more than $1.5 million.
Clinton Benefactors Sought Keystone XL Approval
Canadian pipeline company TransCanada first proposed the Keystone XL oil pipeline in 2008. Keystone XL would be transporting petroleum tar sands from Canada to Texas for processing and thus required State Department approval to move forward. TransCanada’s then-largest shareholder, TD Bank, began sponsoring speeches by Bill Clinton just days after Obama appointed Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, paying $525,000 for three speeches. (NICHOLAS KAMM/AFP/Getty Images) In July 2009, Gordon Giffin, a lobbyist for Keystone XL, sent an email to Band, asking for an invite to an event at which Hillary Clinton was speaking. Giffin was Bill Clinton’s ambassador to Canada from 1997 to 2001 and a major donor to Hillary Clinton’s campaigns. Band forwarded Giffin’s request to Abedin, and asked, “Can u get him in?” Abedin replied, “Yes will get him in.”
In 2010, Secretary Clinton said she was “inclined” to approve the project, despite the Obama administration’s public opposition. In August 2011, Bill Clinton said, “We should embrace [Keystone XL].” In August 2011, Clinton’s State Department greenlighted the Keystone XL environmental review and stated the project will have “no significant impacts” to most U.S. resources. TransCanada lobbyist Giffin has donated between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. And TD Bank paid Bill Clinton more than $1.7 million to deliver 10 speeches, while the State Department considered the Keystone XL approval.
Clinton Donors Cashed In on Haiti Earthquake
On Jan. 12, 2010, Haiti was rocked by a devastating 7-magnitude earthquake. Internal emails sent just hours after the quake, and released under the Freedom of Information Act, reveal the State Department was communicating with the Clinton Foundation and prioritizing projects for Clinton benefactors. A top State Department aide to Hillary Clinton fielded incoming offers for relief assistance, asked the foundation for help identifying the offerors, and gave special priority to “FOBs” (friends of Bill) and “WJC VIPs.” Less than a month after the quake, U.S. Ambassador Kenneth Merten sent a cable to State Department headquarters saying, “The Gold Rush is on.”
In April 2010, the Clinton State Department established the Interim Haiti Relief Commission (IHRC)—a quasi-governmental entity that coordinated relief efforts. Bill Clinton and Haitian President Jean-Max Bellerive were installed as co-commissioners. (Sophia Paris/MINUSTAH via Getty Images) The IHRC was Haiti’s second unmitigated disaster; one year after the earthquake, global NGO Oxfam reported that “almost no major reconstruction projects [had] started.” In an article, titled “The King and Queen of Haiti,” Politico reported, “Many of the most notable investments the Clintons helped launch, such as the new Marriott in the capital, have primarily benefited wealthy foreigners.” The four-star luxury Marriott is owned by Clinton mega-donor Denis O’Brien’s Digicel and was one of the first recovery projects the Clinton Foundation facilitated. Hillary Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham, was a board member of VCS Mining, which received a lucrative gold mining lease—the first issued in Haiti in 50 years.
One of the biggest winners in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake was Digicel, one of the largest telecom companies in the Caribbean. Digicel is owned by Irish billionaire O’Brien, who is a close friend of Bill Clinton and a major foundation donor. After the Haiti earthquake, O’Brien and the Clinton Foundation partnered on rebuilding infrastructure with substantial taxpayer/relief funding. USAID, in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, provided more than $5 million in taxpayer-funded grants to Digicel. With the post-earthquake USAID funds, Digicel gave Haitians free cell phones and accounts and massively expanded its user base. Digicel then collected fees from the impoverished Haitians for every transaction, making millions of dollars in fees alone.
O’Brien has donated between $5 million and $10 million to the Clinton Foundation. Between 2010 and 2012, O’Brien arranged several lucrative speeches by Bill Clinton in Ireland, as well as a $225,000 Digicel-sponsored speech in Jamaica. The timing of these speeches coincided with major grant awards to Digicel from USAID. As a 94-percent stakeholder in Digicel, O’Brien cashed in $650 million worth of dividends in 2014 alone.
According to an analysis by the Center for Economic Policy Research, less than 1 percent of USAID funds ($1.3 billion) went to local Haitian groups and more than 60 percent went to organizations operating inside the Washington Beltway. Four years later, USAID funds were still unaccounted for.
Not only did the Clinton State Department and Clinton Foundation bungle relief efforts as Haitians suffered, but Clinton friends and donors were given sweetheart deals.
New Details on Uranium One Scandal
Uranium One was a Canadian mining company whose assets included mines in Utah and Wyoming, amounting to a projected 20 percent of domestic uranium production capacity at the time. The company was acquired in 2010 by Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), a fully controlled subsidiary of Russian state-owned nuclear conglomerate Rosatom. The purchase of Uranium One required a review by Obama’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS), since there were significant national security implications. As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton was obligated to review the sale.
As detailed in the book “Clinton Cash,” nine investors linked to Uranium One donated approximately $145 million to the Clinton Foundation in close proximity to the CFIUS review. These investors included one of the Clintons’ largest benefactors, billionaire Canadian mining mogul Frank Giustra, as well as the then-chairman of Uranium One, Ian Telfer. Additionally, in June 2010, Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 by Renaissance Capital—a Kremlin-backed bank that had been promoting Uranium One investment. (ALEXEY DRUZHININ/AFP/Getty Images) Bill Clinton’s office also requested permission for him to meet with one of Rosatom’s board members, Arkady Dvorkovich. The speech was reviewed by the Clinton State Department and approved within two days of the request. Dvorkovich attended Clinton’s Moscow speech, and after the speech, Clinton visited Vladimir Putin, who thanked him for speaking.
Ted Kassinger is an attorney and resident CFIUS expert at the international law firm O’Melveny & Myers. While Kassinger advised Clinton’s State Department from 2010 to 2013, records indicate he was also advising the Russians on the takeover of Uranium One. Kassinger was specifically identified as the lead “U.S. Counsel” advising ARMZ in an announcement about the successful takeover.
Kassinger also repeatedly met with Hillary Clinton’s undersecretary Jose Fernandez in 2010. Kassinger and Fernandez even met directly with Clinton in April 2010, just two months before ARMZ announced its intention to take a controlling stake in Uranium One.
In 2015, internal emails sent by John Podesta—who would later become the chairman of Clinton’s presidential campaign—just days before the release of the book “Clinton Cash,” suggest Fernandez was made the fall guy for the CFIUS approval.
On March 29, 2015, Fernandez emailed Podesta: “Hi John, I trust you are getting a brief rest after a job well done. Thanks no doubt to your recommendation I have joined the CAP [Center for American Progress] board of trustees, which I’m finding extremely rewarding[emphasis added].”
Less than three weeks later, on April 17, Fernandez emailed Podesta again and expressed willingness “to do all I can to support Secretary Clinton” as The New York Times prepared to release their front-page expose and reached out to Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon.
In Fallon’s rebuttal to The New York Times’ questions surrounding Clinton’s involvement in the sale of Uranium One, he quoted Fernandez. “As you are aware,” Fallon stated, “Mr. Fernandez has personally attested that ‘Secretary Clinton never intervened with [him] on any CFIUS matter.’”
The implication was clear: Fernandez was taking the blame for the Uranium One CFIUS decision. The timing is damning and suggests a quid pro quo: Fernandez took the fall for Uranium One and he received a “very rewarding” board position thanks to Podesta’s recommendation.
Besides the State Department, two other notable figures gave their approval to CFIUS for the Uranium One deal: FBI Director Robert Mueller, and Attorney General Eric Holder. While Mueller and Holder didn’t apparently receive millions of dollars from Uranium One investors, they didn’t act to block the Russian nuclear takeover, despite concerning evidence in their hands.
At the time of the Uranium One sale in 2010, the FBI was intimately aware of a Russian espionage scheme and a separate Russian racketeering and bribery scheme targeting the U.S. nuclear industry.
“The FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States,” The Hill reported in October 2017.
Increase in Weapons Sales to Foundation Donors
The State Department is responsible for approving commercial arms sales to foreign countries, and the secretary of state determines which countries get approved. Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved commercial weapons sales totaling $165 billion to 20 countries that donated to the Clinton Foundation, according to an analysis by International Business Times. Under Hillary Clinton’s direction, the State Department increased weapons sales 143 percent to 16 Clinton Foundation foreign donors—$151 billion in total sales, compared with just over $105 billion for the same time period under the Bush administration. Five countries with notorious human-rights abuses donated large sums to the Clinton Foundation and saw more than 97 percent increases in their State Department-approved weapons deals.
Qatar
In a 2009 cable, Clinton acknowledged, “Qatar’s overall level of [counter terrorism] cooperation with the U.S. is considered the worst in the region.” In 2010, the Clinton State Department criticized Qatar for its human-rights abuses.
According to leaked emails from 2014, Hillary Clinton acknowledged that Qatar and Saudi Arabia were “providing clandestine financial and logistic support” to the ISIS terrorist group and other radical groups. Nonetheless, during Secretary Clinton’s tenure, the State Department approved $4.3 billion in arms purchase agreements for Qatar—a 14-fold (1,482 percent) increase from her predecessor.

Despite that the foundation was required to disclose large donations from foreign governments, the Clinton Foundation confirmed in 2015 that the $1 million payment wasn’t reviewed by ethics officials.
United Arab Emirates
According to a 2009 diplomatic cable, Secretary Clinton knew that entities within the United Arab Emirates supported terrorism. “UAE-based donors have provided financial support to a variety of terrorist groups, including al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and Hamas,” Clinton stated. In 2010, Human Rights Watch reported that the UAE committed atrocious human-rights abuses, including “torture, restrictions on freedoms of expression and association, and violations of women’s rights.” According to Human Rights Watch, the situation worsened each year from 2009 to 2012.
Nonetheless, the UAE received a 10-fold increase—one of the largest—in Clinton-approved weapons sales. Sales to the UAE totaled nearly $25 billion during Clinton’s tenure, compared with $2.2 billion during the comparable period under Clinton’s predecessor.
The UAE is a major Clinton Foundation donor.
Saudi Arabia
The Saudis have a long history with the Clintons and have donated between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation, cumulatively. Additionally, a group called Friends of Saudi Arabia has donated between $1 million and $5 million. In 2009, Secretary Clinton lamented the “ongoing challenge to persuade Saudi officials to treat terrorist financing emanating from Saudi Arabia as a strategic priority,” according to a leaked diplomatic cable. Nonetheless, the Saudis received State Department approval in 2011 for a $29 billion deal to acquire Boeing fighter jets that was a “top priority” for Secretary Clinton personally, according to her aide Andrew Shapiro. According to leaked internal department emails, she and her staff reportedly worked behind the scenes to get the Saudi “Christmas present” from Boeing approved.
Algeria
In 2015, the Clinton Foundation revealed $26 million in undisclosed donations. Among those payments was one of $500,000 from the government of Algeria. This was an egregious violation of the MOU, especially considering Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved massive increases in weapons sales to that country. The Clinton Foundation admitted the Algeria payment violated ethics rules and downplayed it as “an oversight.”
Bahrain
The Crown Prince of Bahrain committed $32 million to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2005, and the country is listed as a $50,000 to $100,000 donor. Clinton Foundation official Doug Band emailed State Department official Huma Abedin in June 2009, seeking to set up a meeting for “our good friend” the Crown Prince of Bahrain. Abedin responded that Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad al Khalifa had sought a meeting with Secretary Clinton the previous week “thru normal channels,” and that Clinton “doesn’t want to commit to anything for Thurs or Fri until she knows how she will feel.”
It is unclear why the Crown Prince chose to reach out to the State Department through the Clinton Foundation backchannel. However, the email is a clear indication that the foundation served as a backchannel for donor access to the Clinton State Department.
Boeing, Lockheed, and Clinton Speeches
Bill Clinton was reportedly paid $625,000 for speeches sponsored by entities that benefitted from arms-purchase approvals by Secretary Clinton’s State Department. The speeches included a $175,000 keynote address paid for by the Kuwait-America Foundation, hosted at the Kuwaiti ambassador’s house and sponsored in part by Boeing. Kuwait has donated between $5 million and $10 million to the Clinton Foundation and received increased weapons sales during Secretary Clinton’s tenure.
In April 2009, Lockheed Martin donated $1 million to the U.S. Institute of Peace to sponsor their Dean Acheson lecture. Months later, Secretary Clinton was selected as the first speaker, sponsored by Lockheed’s contribution. The Chamber of Commerce in Egypt paid Bill Clinton $250,000 to deliver a speech in Cairo in 2010, which has reportedly been linked to Lockheed. The company received two major weapons approvals from the State Department just days before the Cairo speech. Lockheed became a Clinton Foundation donor in 2010, and during that year, the State Department approved 17 arms deals for Lockheed. In 2011, the firm was a primary contractor on a $650 million State Department-approved award to Qatar.
Like Boeing, Lockheed hasn’t donated to the Clinton Foundation since Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election.
In May 2010, the Russians got a $3.7 billion arms deal with Boeing, approved by the State Department. “This is a shameless pitch for Rosavia … to buy Boeing aircraft,” Hillary Clinton said, while touring a Boeing factory in Moscow. In August 2010, Boeing donated $900,000 to Haiti relief efforts through the Clinton Foundation. Two months later, the Clinton State Department approved a $29 billion sale of fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. Boeing has donated between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation, and has sponsored at least two speeches that enriched the Clintons directly. Drop in Donations
The pattern of payments to the Clintons reveals how intertwined money and power are. When the Clintons had the power to grant political favors, their income and donations skyrocketed. Bill Clinton’s speaking fees tripled during Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department.
Almost immediately after Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election, donations by foreign governments sharply dropped. According to the Clinton Foundation’s 2014 IRS filing, total contributions amounted to $217,832,954. The foundation’s 2017 filing revealed contributions amounting to just $22,843,211. This means support for the Clintons’ global charitable enterprise fell by nearly 90 percent.

Victory doesn’t get any sweeter for the winners. Or more important for our country.
The results of the probe by special counsel Robert Mueller are a tremendous vindication for President Trump and the many millions of Americans who never doubted his innocence. The findings prove, once and for all time, that he won the 2016 election fair and square.
Let me repeat the point: It is now a fact beyond any doubt whatsoever that Donald Trump is the legitimate 45th president of the United States.
“Hail to the Chief,” this time with feeling.
The great news of that settled truth is not limited to Republicans and Trump supporters. Every American can take comfort in this historic reaffirmation of our nation as exceptional, as the shining city on the hill for all mankind.
Think of it this way: Yes, Russians tried to tip a presidential election, especially through hacking into email systems. They even tried to help Trump.
Yet Mueller, after conducting the most exhaustive test ever of election integrity, reached this stunning conclusion: “The Special Counsel did not find that any US person or Trump campaign official or associate conspired or knowingly coordinated” with Russians “despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”
No American — not a single one — took the Russian bait. And that includes every member of the Trump campaign.
That is a fact worthy of celebration, for it shows our democracy is strong and our institutions uncompromised.
Other implications of the report’s findings are also enormous.
We now know that Hillary Clinton and her supporters misled the country in claiming that the White House was stolen from her. She started the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax and her claims, aided by the Obama White House and magnified by a thoroughly partisan media, set in motion a wild-goose chase.
The chase undermined a duly elected president and cost taxpayers more than $30 million for an investigation that proved the accusations were flat-out false.
Yet money alone is hardly the full price. The probe itself was a giant cloud over the presidency. Trump’s cabinet, his family, his aides and every policy he put forth were viewed with suspicion by those who bought Clinton’s Big Lie. Many of those people shelled out thousands of dollars for legal bills merely to answer questions and prove themselves innocent of any wrongdoing.
It is also a given that China, North Korea, Iran and, yes, Russia have factored into their relations with us the possibility that Trump might not be long for the Oval Office.
We will never know exactly what price America paid for that possibility, but you can be certain it was high, and that the ramifications will not instantly disappear.
Perhaps there would have been a trade deal with China by now. Perhaps North Korea would have scuttled its nukes if it knew Trump wasn’t going anywhere for at least four years.
Those are just some of the actual and potential consequences Clinton set in motion with her false claims. In a better world, or if she were a better person, she would apologize and publicly acknowledge Trump’s legitimacy. I won’t hold my breath.
But until she does, she should be shunned in public life. She has no credibility to speak on any issue or endorse any candidate. She has put the nation through hell all because she lost an election she should have won.
Let’s remember, too, that her campaign actually did work with Russians, through FusionGPS and British agent Christopher Steele, to create a fictional scenario about Trump being compromised.
Which brings us to today’s Democrats. They bought into Clinton’s Big Lie and built a house of cards on smoke and mirrors. The collapse is total.
If they had any sense, they, too, would accept the Mueller findings and get to work developing serious policy alternatives. Adopting the path of the resistance movement — no compromise, no negotiation — is no longer viable. It, too, is dead.
The long list of 2020 candidates are suddenly facing the fact that Mueller cannot help them. In fact, Trump is stronger and will be emboldened for having survived the gantlet.
Sadly, the first indication is that the party’s loudest huffers and puffers — Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Maxine Waters and assorted other odd ducks — will not accept that the world has changed.
They vow to contest the Mueller conclusion on collusion and cast doubt on the limited release of underlying documents. They also are already seizing on the fact that Mueller left it to Attorney General William Barr and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to rule that there was no provable case for obstruction of justice as a reason to continue their jihad.
In fairness, that decision by Mueller is curious, and serves as an unfortunate invitation for mischief. But Barr and Rosenstein are on solid ground because, as they explain, in normal circumstances, there can be no obstruction of justice if there was no underlying crime.
They also lay out the high bar for proving obstruction charges, and conclude the evidence Mueller found could not meet that test.
Still, it is a free country and the Dems are welcome to pursue the pipe dreams that RussiaGate isn’t over. Their denial recalls those Japanese soldiers who hid out in island caves for 30 and 40 years after World War II, determined never to surrender.
The pledge by Schiff and others to try to destroy Trump with investigations sets them up to be a suicide caucus of their own.
It’s been clear for some time that, although most Americans trusted Mueller and wanted him to be able to finish, they were impatient it was taking too long. Now that he has spoken, fair-minded voters will welcome the end of the circus and embrace its findings as final. That’s what patriots do.
Yet as I wrote Sunday, the end of Mueller must not mean the end of investigating what happened in 2016. It was, after all, the Clinton-financed Russian dossier that formed the basis of the FBI investigation launched by the disgraced James Comey that summer.
How did that happen? How did a partisan dirty trick result in an FBI probe of the other party’s presidential candidate?
And how did so much classified information leak, including the names of Trump associates picked up incidentally on wiretaps? Who in the Obama White House broke the law?

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko told The Hill's John Solomon: "Today we will launch a criminal investigation about this and we will give legal assessment of this information."
"Lutsenko is probing a claim from a member of the Ukrainian parliament that the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Artem Sytnyk, attempted to the benefit of the 2016 U.S. presidential election on behalf of Hillary Clinton," The Hill reported.
"According to the member of parliament of Ukraine, he got the court decision that the NABU official conducted an illegal intrusion into the American election campaign," Lutsenko said. "It means that we think Mr. Sytnyk, the NABU director, officially talked about criminal investigation with Mr. [Paul] Manafort, and at the same time, Mr. Sytnyk stressed that in such a way, he wanted to assist the campaign of Ms. Clinton."
Several days before then-president elect Donald Trump would be sworn into office, Politico broke the story about the alleged Ukrainian effort to boost Clinton. Politico reported:
Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.
A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.
The operative, Alexandra Chalupa, said in 2017: "When it was announced that the Trump campaign hired Manafort, many Ukrainian-Americans were alarmed and concerned it was an early signal that Putin was trying to influence the US election. At that time, I flagged for the DNC the significance of his hire based on information in the public domain."
In a separate piece at The Hill, Solomon writes that the Ukrainian investigation centers around "whether his country’s law enforcement apparatus intentionally leaked financial records during the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign about then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in an effort to sway the election in favor of Hillary Clinton."
Lutsenko is not the only Ukrainian official that wants an investigation into the ties between Clinton and members of the Ukrainian government.
"In a July 24 letter to Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Andrei Derkach, an independent MP who was formerly aligned with a pro-Russian party, requested that authorities launch a pretrial investigation into 'illegal interference in the election of President of the United States organized by a criminal organization,'" Politico reported. "This organization, he said, consisted of senior members of the country’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau, government officials, and other public figures."
Several months later Trump tweeted about the report, suggesting that then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions should look into it.

After the Mueller report plopped with a wet thud on the media, everyone is blaming everyone else.
MSNBC and CNN are blaming the fake experts they invited on and interviewed night after night, urging them to make outlandish predictions that Mueller would soon have Trump locked up for treason. Like Inspector Renault, they’re shocked that the baseless claims they had been repeating were nonsense. And a few of the experts who turned it up to 11 will no longer be invited into media green rooms.
Meanwhile the politicians are blaming the media, even though Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Jerry Nadler, Rep Ted Lieu, and many other political reps were every bit as bad as the ‘experts’. Some, like Schiff, are doubling down and will go on investigating Russian collusion until the media stops inviting them on morning shows to discuss the nothing that they found last week and the week before.
Oddly, no one is blaming the political arsonist who started the dumpster fire that is Russiagate.
The Russian conspiracy theory was invented by the Clinton campaign. It was used as a pretext for spying on Trump associates. And then became an argument for invalidating the results of the 2016 election.
And while the Republicans and Democrats tore each other apart over Russiagate, Hillary Clinton sipped her chardonnays and spent the evenings cackling madly at the TV while watching Washington D.C. burn.
The Russiagate conspiracy theory had multiple purposes. The most cynical one was exempting Hillary and her Clintonworlders from any of the blame for the election defeat. Invoking Russia was also an effort to create an election issue that Clinton, a former Secretary of State, could claim expertise on. It would also neatly counter Trump’s focus on Islamic terrorists and on China with a Cold War boogeyman.
Russia split lefties along interventionist lines. Hard core anti-war types became Russia skeptics. Most of the rest went along because they hated Trump more than they cared about foreign policy. That’s why, aside from Israel, foreign policy has mostly been absent from the 2020 battles even as the radical primaries push Democrat candidates further leftward on a wide variety of domestic issues.
That’s strikingly different from the 2016 primaries where Hillary’s opponents repeatedly attacked her over the Iraq War. This time around, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is the only candidate to run on a leftist foreign policy platform. And has next to nothing to show for it. Even Senator Bernie Sanders, a Castro and Soviet sympathizer, is carefully steering clear of foreign policy except for the ritualistic bashing of Israel.
Why is foreign policy out of bounds? One reason is a surplus of inexperienced candidates who have spent hardly any time in national office, some who never did, squatting in the 2020 clown car. But a big part of the reason is that Hillary Clinton’s domestic positions are seen as fair game for lefty critics, but, due to Russiagate, her foreign policy people and her international positions are viewed as off-limits.
2020 candidates have a choice between endorsing Hillary Clinton’s interventionism, “We came, we saw, he died”, which would earn them the ire of grass-roots leftists, or avoiding the subject altogether. The clowns in the 2020 clownmobile car don’t want to step on Russiagate trip wires or offend the lefties.
That’s why the only safe subject to tilt leftward on is Israel.
After the Mueller report fell, they may be a little bit more willing to question interventionism, but the base remains passionately convinced that Russia plotted to put President Trump in the White House.
The post-Mueller poll by Reuters shows 84% of Democrats still believe in collusion. 57% strongly agree.
Hillary Clinton may not be a 2020 honored guest, but her legacy is safe. 2020 Dems will be cautious about criticizing her, not only because she still has a fan base, but because she never really lost. The election was stolen by a bunch of Russian bots on Facebook. And no lessons, except for the need to censor social media, have been learned from her defeat. Once again, Hillary Clinton got away with it.
The media deserves plenty of the blame. But MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post, not to mention the outlets more explicitly tied to the Steele report, were acting as Hillary’s greedy ideological catspaws. They got rich off the hoax, but they didn’t invent it. Hillary Clinton’s people did.
Any real reckoning should begin with the mother of all the hoaxes.
But that too is very risky. Hillary Clinton tied in Obama’s people into the conspiracy. Any reckoning of Hillary’s role in Russiagate would rebound and take down sizable chunks of the Obama administration.
Once again, Hillary Clinton used complicity, tying multiple interests into mainstreaming her hoax, that her lie had become too big to fail. Like the banking system, it would take too much down with it. The media is a safer target. Its only collateral damage is its non-existent credibility. Obama’s people however committed actual crimes. Eavesdropping on the political opposition is redolent of Watergate.
And while the Dems no longer need Hillary, they very much need Obama. Especially if the top of the 2020 ticket ends up being a white New Englander with as much appeal to black people as mayonnaise.
Take down Hillary over Russiagate, and Obama goes with her. It’s safer to just leave her alone.
Any meaningful reckoning of the Russiagate hoax won’t end with the media. It will follow it through Fusion GPS, the DNC, and Clinton associates who hoped to swing the election with one last dirty trick. It will trace the passage of the Clinton conspiracy theory through the DOJ and the FBI. It will measure the institutional damage inflicted on the government, not just the permanent tainting of the 2016 election.
Nobody complicit in Russiagate is about to allow that to happen. And so everyone, from the media on down, is willing to be Hillary’s fall guys instead. The Clintons have never had a shortage of those.
Hillary Clinton’s political career is over. But despite the odds, she’s managed to evade blame not only for her crimes, but for her terrible political instincts and failures. And she is able to sit back and watch Democrats and Republicans still fighting it out over a game that she set into motion years ago.
It’s hard not to believe that she doesn’t feel glee at the damage she is continuing to inflict on America.
Russiagate was not a media failure. The media these days is just a Democrat messaging operation. Its broadcasts and articles exist to promote the partisan agendas of its political faction. Holding the media accountable for spreading smears, lies and conspiracy theories is like blaming the dog, instead of the owner, when it makes a mess on your lawn. The media makes messes, but it doesn’t originate them.
MSNBC, CNN and the Washington Post can’t and won’t clean up the Russiagate mess. The only one who can is a retired politician dictating books, doing speaking tours and watching TV in her home in Chappaqua, New York. She is also the only person to have escaped a Russiagate reckoning.
Unlike her fellow Democrats, she has nothing at stake in this post-Clinton political order and is happy to watch the country burn, and her party with it, to slake the frustrated anger of her final defeat.
Russiagate is Hillary Clinton’s revenge on everyone. On Trump, on Republicans, and on her own party. If she can’t have the White House, she can still set the agenda by watching her big lie take over the national conversation, hounding Trump and forcing the Dems to fight her war using her last dirty trick.
The only way to stop the damage that the last two years have inflicted on our country is to hold Hillary, Obama, their associates and officials accountable for the catastrophic dirty trick known as Russiagate.

Also Confirms Over 49,000 Clinton Server Emails Found on Weiner Laptop
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that a senior FBI official admitted, in writing and under oath, that the agency found Clinton email records in the Obama White House, specifically, the Executive Office of the President. The FBI also admitted nearly 49,000 Clinton server emails were reviewed as result of a search warrant for her material on the laptop of Anthony Weiner.
E.W. (Bill) Priestap, assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division, made the disclosure to Judicial Watch as part of court-ordered discovery into the Clinton email issue.
U.S District Court Judge Royce Lamberth ordered Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers, and Clinton aides, as well as Priestap, to be deposed or answer writer questions under oath. The court ruled that the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”
Priestap was asked by Judicial Watch to identify representatives of Hillary Clinton, her former staff, and government agencies from which “email repositories were obtained.” Priestap responded with the following non-exhaustive list:

Priestap, is serving as assistant director of the FBI’s counterintelligence division and helped oversee both the Clinton email and the 2016 presidential campaign investigations. Priestap testified in a separate lawsuit that Clinton was the subject of a grand jury investigation related to her BlackBerry email accounts.

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani mockingly urged failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to run again in 2020, calling the Clintons “America’s number one crime family.”

On the eve of DNI Dan Coats stepping down, we got a rash of declassifications dealing with the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server.
As with all things dealing with this topic, it’s complicated and can be hard to follow. But we aren’t dealing with anonymous sources or speculation here. These are actual documents that have just been declassified. Perhaps this dump shows President Trump is keeping his promise on that front?

Essentially, the FBI found in the metadata that every email sent and received on Clinton’s home brew server was being copied to an email address registered to a Chinese company named Carter Heavy Industries.
Who setup this email address? We now know the answer to that.
So a ton of classified info that Clinton deliberately put in emails on an unsecured server were ALL being sent to this CarterHeavyIndustries [CHI] email account, and then forwarded from there to a PRN server.

Paul Combetta was Hillary’s IT specialist and he was inexplicably given blanket immunity by James Comey’s FBI during the Hillary email investigation. This despite the fact that he clearly broke the law and apparently had absolutely nothing of substance to offer investigators.
Typically, you don’t give immunity to someone who can’t help you land a bigger fish. But as most reading this know, nothing about the Hillary email investigation made sense. It was clearly ran as a whitewash operation of any possible criminal activity. These new documents further establish that, as we see James Comey and Peter Strzok actively suppressed the evidence in question.
In fact, the only reason we are finding out about this is because the Inspector General filed a supplemental report to fill in gaps left in the original IG report on the Hillary investigation.

The excuse being given by some defenders is that Combetta made the email account so that means it was just an account to archive Clinton’s emails. That leaves way too many questions unanswered and makes little sense.

If you want to setup a dummy account, why are you using a Chinese company as the domain? The first thought would be to ask if Combetta was being paid off by the Chinese to forward the emails to them. That’s probably the least controversial explanation though. If Clinton herself was involved in the distribution of the materials, things would really escalate. The IG came up inconclusive, unable to pin down exactly the provenance and purpose of the Chinese email address. What we do know is that the FBI leadership at the time glossed over the evidence and essentially buried it.
Past that, even if we are to believe that Combetta picked the name at random, it means he broke the law by illegally archiving classified government documents. Of course, we all know Combetta was not acting alone. Hillary Clinton was his boss and had to have been directing him to do these things. What that points to is the magical intent that James Comey claimed didn’t exist (intent wasn’t actually required in the criminal statute regardless).
There’s a lot more in Cates’ thread and I’d again encourage you to read through it. This entire ordeal is just a mess and from what’s being rumored, it’s not over. Bill Barr is on record saying John Huber, who is part of the investigation into all this, is looking at the question of the 33,000 emails Clinton illegally destroyed.

Chelsea Clinton, who serves on the board of IAC/InterActiveCorp, saw her stock shares skyrocket in value to almost $9 million on Friday.
According to financial publication Barron’s, the media and investment company’s stock has risen by 89 percent in 2017, 50 percent in 2018 and 36 percent in 2019.
Comparatively, the S&P 500 saw a 19 percent rise in 2017, a 6 percent drop in 2018 and a 29 percent rise in 2019.
As IAC director since 2011, Clinton receives an annual $50,000 retainer and $250,000 restricted IAC stock units.
According to a form she filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, she owns the equivalent of 35,242 IAC shares — 29,843 shares and 5,399 share units under a deferred-compensation plan.
As of Friday, her shares were valued at $8.95 million, which is up from $7.2 million in June.
Once Clinton leaves the board, her share units will be converted to stock.
IAC has an ownership stake in 150 brands including Vimeo, Tinder and Investopedia, according to The Hill.
The child of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton serves on more boards than IAC’s.
She also serves on the board of Expedia, a travel technology company chaired by Clinton ally Barry Diller, Fox Business reported. Diller also controls IAC.
According to SEC filings, Clinton has been awarded about $80,000 worth of Expedia stock since 2017.
In addition to serving on the various boards, Clinton has also worked for consulting firm McKinsey & Company and NBC.
While working a correspondent for NBC News in 2013 and 2014, Clinton earned an annual salary of $600,000, Politico reported at the time.
When she joined the network, the New York Post referred to her as “just another spoiled, aimless child of rich, successful parents chauffeured through adulthood by Mommy and Daddy’s connections.”
NBC declined to discuss Clinton’s contract with Politico in 2014.
“NBC News continues to enjoy a wonderful working relationship with Chelsea, and we are proud of her work,” a spokesperson said.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton says she is 'waiting and watching' as the primary race plays out; reaction and analysis from Tom Bevan, president and co-founder of Real Clear Politics.
A federal judge Monday granted a request from conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch to have former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sit for a sworn deposition to answer questions about her use of a private email server to conduct government business.
Clinton has argued that she has already answered questions about this and should not have to do so again -- the matter did not result in any charges for the then-presidential candidate in 2016 after a high-profile investigation -- but D.C. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth said in his ruling that her past responses left much to be desired.
"As extensive as the existing record is, it does not sufficiently explain Secretary Clinton’s state of mind when she decided it would be an acceptable practice to set up and use a private server to conduct State Department business," Lamberth said.
The judge went on to recognize that while Clinton responded to written questions in a separate case, "those responses were either incomplete, unhelpful, or cursory at best. Simply put her responses left many more questions than answers.” Lamberth said that using written questions this time “will only muddle any understanding of Secretary Clinton’s state of mind and fail to capture the full picture, thus delaying the final disposition of this case even further.”
Lamberth even gave some examples of lingering questions about Clinton's emails, such as how did she come to believe that her private emails would be preserved under normal State Department processes, who told her this and when, at what point did she learn department records management officials did not know about the server, "[a]nd why did she think that using a private server to conduct State Department business was permissible under the law in the first place?"
The ruling comes after Judicial Watch revealed at a December 2019 status conference that the FBI released "approximately thirty previously undisclosed Clinton emails," and that the State Department "failed to fully explain" where they came from.
The State Department has been pushing for the discovery phase of the case to come to a close, but Lamberth said he is not ready to do so, saying that "there is still more to learn."
Judicial Watch, which initiated this case in 2014, is looking for information regarding whether Clinton used her private email server to intentionally get around the Freedom of Information Act, whether the State Department acted in bad faith when they tried to settle the case years ago, and whether the department had adequately looked for records in response to Judicial Watch's initial FOIA request.
Given that the settlement attempts and records search took place after Clinton left office, the judge ruled that the deposition should focus on whether she intentionally tried to use her private server to evade FOIA and her understanding of the State Department's record management requirements.
Lamberth also granted Judicial Watch's request to depose former Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills, IT specialist Paul Combetta who was involved in deleting Clinton's emails, as well as Brett Gittleson and Yvette Jacks, who were State Department officials familiar with Clinton's private email server.
