On April 13, 2009, Clinton attorney Cheryl Mills informed newly sworn-in Secretary of State Hillary Clinton via email that the National Archives could not account for a two-terabyte hard drive.

“The drive may contain a wide range of memos, emails, and other electronic documents from the Clinton White House.”

The hard drive contained information from the administration of her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

The Dallas IRS Office That's Quietly Determining the Fate of the Clinton Foundation

The Earle Cabell Federal Building in downtown Dallas is an all purpose office complex, a bastion of federal bureaucracy located at 1100 Commerce St. Most people come for a passport or to get business done in front of a federal judge. But inside, a quiet review is underway that has direct ties to the raging presidential election: The local branch of the IRS' Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division is reviewing the tax status of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

This IRS review has not generated similar waves as Department of Justice probes into the foundation, and has largely been forgotten in the campaign's melee. It's just not as sexy as private email servers, FBI infighting and charges of political pressure applied to law enforcement.

But even though this examination is less scrutinized and is harder to conceptualize, it's impact may be important. The report won't likely be done in time to influence the presidential campaign — even though the review started more than four months ago — but it could certainly influence the first term of a Hillary Clinton presidency.

As with anything tax related, the status of the foundation may be determined using rules few understand. And that makes understanding the work at 1100 Commerce St. in Dallas that much more important.

In Washington, D.C., many things start with words printed on congressional letterhead. Earlier this year, 64 GOP members of Congress asked the IRS to investigate why the foundation can keep its nonprofit status. The letter includes “media reports” claiming pay-to-play relationships between former President Bill Clinton, who received large speaking fees, and decisions made by Hillary Clinton to approve choices that benefited foundation donors. The sources of these reports range from The New York Times to hit-piece investigative books.

In July, the IRS sent letters back to the Congress informing members the review had begun. The letter also noted that the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division (TE/GE) office in Dallas would be conducting the review.

IRS spokespeople in Dallas and Washington won’t say why the review is being conducted in Dallas. Spokespeople claim even this information would violate rules — Code 6103, staff make sure to cite — that stop them from discussing ongoing examinations. IRS officials declined to provide details about the Dallas office, including its size, or comment on the TE/GE work in general.

On its website, the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division refers the operators of nonprofits as “customers.” Their mission statement is: “To provide our customers top quality service by helping them understand and comply with applicable tax laws and to protect the public interest by applying the tax law with integrity and fairness to all.”

But the office does have a mandate to review claims of exemption, including conducting “examinations to identify and address non-compliance” like the one underway with the Clinton Foundation. One IRS document called the "Tax Exempt and Government Entities Fiscal Year 2017 Work Plan" gives a more complete picture. “Filing, organizational and operational and employment tax numbered among the top issues the Exempt Organizations Examinations group uncovered in its 4,984 examinations in 2016," it says. "The filing issues primarily involved verifying exempt activities and securing delinquent returns.”

The TE/GE focuses on nonprofit groups, which is specialty work that requires experience. “They are pretty much career people,” says Ben Stoltz, an attorney with Perliski Law Group, a Dallas boutique firm with half of its business representing nonprofit groups. “It’s a different side of the IRS than people are used to seeing. ... They're generally very cooperative, but they're also the watchdogs."

The mix of awareness and enforcement dovetails with cases that get publicity. "They have a limited budget, which is a problem, so they have to pick their targets wisely," Stoltz says. "Because this is a high profile case, they can make an example and show that no one is above the law.”

Indeed, according to the division's 2017 Work Plan, the year "will build upon efforts to increase audit efficiency and to invest our limited resources in areas that provide the greatest impact."

The strategy is focused on big money charities: "Our examinations will cover all gross wage categories but with an emphasis on entities with gross wages of $10 million or more; approximately 75 percent of examination closures will be of these returns."

In 2014, the Clinton Foundation tallied its salaries at more than $26 million, according to IRS filings. So that puts the Clinton Fpundarion square in the middle of the Work Plan's enforcement strategy.

Following my original post on the pedophile practices of Marion Zimmer Bradley, a victim of another notorious literary pedophile has shared their own experience in the comments section of that article. She refers to the award-winning English children’s writer William Mayne, who, according to his Wikipedia entry, was in 2004, “imprisoned for two and a half years and placed on the British sex offenders registry for life after admitting sexual abuse of ‘young girl fans.” Mayne died six years later. That was the bizarre lesson Mayor de Blasio — whose questionable fund-raising tactics are at the center of an ongoing criminal probe — delivered Saturday to a group of children at a Queens library.

Hizzoner read from the illustrated children’s book “Secret Pizza Party” at the Woodside branch of the Queens Library alongside library boss Dennis Walcott and City Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer.

The poorly chosen yarn follows the exploits of a wily raincoat-clad raccoon who is overly enthusiastic about keeping secrets and stealing pizza.

“When you make something secret, you make it special,” the immoral masked mammal says. “Regular handshake: Boring. Secret handshake: Booyah!”

The eyebrow-raising book could barely keep the attention of the roomful of rambunctious kids, and may have left the mayor with a bad case of indigestion. He didn’t seem to recognize the unintended irony.

“If the raccoon was stealing pizza for a cause he believed in, do you think he was still breaking the law, necessarily?” one reporter asked as the mayor exited the library.

Another used the raccoon’s tale as a jumping off point to grill de Blasio about a Gov. Cuomo ally being probed for potential improper lobbying and undisclosed conflicts of interest involving an upstate power plant.

“What do you think of Joe Percoco’s secret pizza party?” the reporter asked.

De Blasio cracked a smile, but declined to address any pizza or raccoon-related inquiries.

The book, written by Adam Rubin and illustrated by Daniel Salmnieri, has received a mix of reviews online — with some parents questioning the lessons it holds.

“The book was neither fun nor cute,” mom Jen Bee wrote on Amazon. “Yeah, that’s not what I want to teach my child. It sounds like something a pedophile would say to their victim.”

The book is a fun read, according to Yelena Lungin, but she “didn’t like that we were supposed to cheer for the raccoon to steal pizza and get away with it.”

Much like the nocturnal nuisance he read about aloud, De Blasio’s moral compass has been questioned by critics.

The head investigator for the state Board of Elections alleges that the funneling of big money contributions through party committees to Senate candidates was a “willful and flagrant” move made by the mayor to evade contribution limits.

Speaking on WNYC, he said people should be asking “how a state board of election official singled us out, apparently not understanding how state election law works, and then leaked their document to the media.”

Saturday wasn’t de Blasio’s first pizza-related faux pas.

According to this new story from the Atlantic Journal Constitution, soon after Atlanta's CBS46 mainstream media news anchor Ben Swann did what was called a 'groundbreaking' story on what the msm is calling 'fake news', #Pizzagate, Swann has been off the air. For those who may have missed it, you can see Swann in that groundbreaking look at 'pizzagate' in the final video below.

After the election was over and 'pizzagate' had largely been 'forgotten' and disappeared from much of the news, Swann created an online firestorm after 'reviving' the pizzagate story. As the lead newspaper in Atlanta reported, Swann has been off the air since then with his co-anchor Sharon Reed doing their program by herself.

And while the 'where is Ben Swann' stories and threads had since started hitting various websites and internet forums as well as videos such as the 2nd video below from Victurus Libertas VL, we get a brand new update from Swann himself that only adds several layers to the mystery.

As Swann posted on both his Facebook page and his Twitter page as seen above and at the top of this story, he will be coming back to CBS46 this Monday night, after a lengthy and unplanned hiatus, yet both his Facebook page and his Twitter page will be going dark in what appears to be a cryptic message that some have already begun to try to decode.

Swann warns us 'there are going to be some changes' yet as the Facebook commenter points out in the comment seen below, Swann cryptically changed the spelling of Tuesday. Was Swann sending the world a message?

As you can see in the posts, not only is the word Tuesday apparently purposely spelled wrong (with an allusion to Sun Tzu, the author of 'The Art Of War'), but he gets his dates wrong as well - February 1st being Wednesday and not Tuesday. Our commenter, like other commenters, also warns they hope Swann isn't in the process of 'being reprogrammed'.

What is going on with Ben Swann and 'pizzagate' that suddenly caused him to miss work with a reappearance coming soon but a total 'blackout' on all of his social media? Was Swann threatened? Swann consistently has ranked as one of the most credible mainstream news performers anywhere in America and as we read in the screenshots below from his fans, people are very, very concerned about the health and safety of Swann and his family right now.

And since Swann brought pizzagate back to the MSM, his numbers in Atlanta had absolutely exploded as seen in the graphic below. However, Swann also just posted a notice to his Facebook page letting followers know that he was canceling a fundraising drive he was doing to expose the US government's ties to ISIS. Swann did not explain why. Why the sudden changes soon after his popularity exploded as Americans realized once again that they could trust somebody in the MSM?

As Swann points out in his excellent video, how could 'pizzagate' be 'fake news' when it appears that there hasn't even been an official investigation into the very many valid claims that Swann points out?
As this recent story over at Intellihub points out, one youtuber who has been covering 'pizzagate' has recently claimed that the lives of his family and loved ones had been threatened over his work covering this abomination.
And while we would never claim nor report that all of the 'theories' surrounding 'pizzagate' are true, the fact that the global elite have long been reported to have ties to such behavior absolutely proves we'll never get the truth from them.

Ben Swann, CBS Anchor Who Defended Pizzagate, Deletes Entire Social Media Presence

He’s back.

News anchor Ben Swann severely piqued the mainstream media when he dredged up the cooling Pizzagate conspiracy by airing a sympathetic report on an Atlanta CBS affiliate.

He appears to have been benched by his employer, the Meredith Corp-owned CBS46, after his controversial report. But after a brief hiatus, Swann returned to his co-anchor spot Monday and deleted all his social media accounts on Wednesday.

The formerly outspoken Swann gave up a lot. He had a sizable following on multiple platforms, with 75,000 Twitter followers and 427,000 likes on his Facebook page. He also deleted his website and cancelled his upcoming independent investigative project in which he planned to look into the US government’s connection with the creation of ISIS.

It is unclear whether or not Swann will continue his recurring “Reality Check” segments which covered controversial topics, including Pizzagate, and often took a conspiratorial angle.

According to the blog AJC, it seems Swann’s station may have made him delete his social media accounts as a prerequisite for returning to his anchor job.

Swann alerted his fans on social media that he would be deleting his social media on February 1st, but told his fans to “trust me”.

On his Facebook he wrote: “Hey guys, everyone is asking if things are OK. They are. I will be heading back to CBS46 on Monday but there are going to be some changes. The biggest one will be that this social page will go dark f/n on Tzuday [sic], Feb 1. We’ve been building this project for 6 years and those who have come to know me.. I hope you have also come to trust me.”

Edgar Welch's father, Harry Welch Jr., was elected President of the North Carolina Crime Stoppers Association for two terms. Harry Welch Jr. also served as Executive Director for Protect-A-Child, a national, non-profit organization to prevent abuse and abduction of children. Welch was appointed by Governor Jim Martin to the Governor's Commission on Child Victimization. They have also served as a foster family to three different children. President Ronald Reagan selected Harry to join 15 other broadcasters to visit US Military Instillation in Colorado. They received national clearance from the US Defense Department to visit the Cheyenne Mountain Nuclear Bunker the alternate command center for NORAD. Harry worked on federal , state and local task forces fighting the war on drugs. He served five years with the Rowan County ABC police. Duties included: stakeouts, watching illegal stills, patrolling the county for suspected bootleggers transporting non-tax paid whiskey, working undercover to purchase illegal liquor and participating in raids on stills and gambling houses. Their agency also worked with the U.S. Treasury Department's local office of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms which increased their coverage area to eight counties. Comet Ping Pong incident

On December 4, Edgar sought entrance to Comet Ping Pong to investigate Pizzagate. He was arrested 45 minutes later, after reportedly discharging a firearm, after which action additional guns were recovered by the police.[5](archived version)
Besides his background, there were additional signs this was a false flag operation to possibly elevate the Pizzagate situation to a threat so that the agencies can take action against the public investigation. A CCTV/traffic camera with the view on Comet Ping Pong reportedly was removed a day before the incident [6][7] as well as a lock-down of a two block radius, and additional camera movement.[8]
A witness who was inside Comet Ping Pong at the time, Sharif Silmi, posted to Twitter that Edgar was arrested trying to hide a shotgun somewhere in Comet [9]. Sharif himself mentions that he saw and heard no shots fired [10]. This is a brazen contradiction to much of the mainstream media's alleged facts.
Three days after the incident on December 7 The New York Times interviewed Mr. Welch and asked about his motives and history. Welch stated that “The intel on this wasn’t 100 percent", and according to The New York Times conceded "only that there were no children “inside that dwelling.”" No clear motive was ever given as to why it was done other than to find imprisoned children, and he doesn't give the "sources" which led him to fire a weapon inside the restaurant, harming nobody. It's also fairly unprecedented that a newspaper would be granted a video interview with such a high-profile shooter on such short notice, but there is a consistent connection between The New York Times and anti-Pizzagate propaganda.

The bullet he fired went through a coat closet door lock and then into their computer.[11] That this would be announced was predicted.[12]
According to a sourced article on Heavy.com Edgar is said to have fired a single shot after employees and diners had fled, not multiple as is claimed, and that he had shot it into the floor. This seems to contradict Sharif Silmi's testimony at the time. There is also repeated claims that he used an assault rifle, and still other testimony closer the time of the event say it was a shotgun. Heavy's article now claims he brought two weapons into Comet. Overall there seem to be quite a number of elements to this story on which the mainstream media can't seem to agree.
Official police report

According to the official police report Welch was in possession of a Colt AR-15, Colt .38 handgun, and an "unknown" make of shotgun.[13] Welch fired three shots into the restaurant, upon which an employee fled from the freezer to the exit.[14] Welch pointed his weapon at the employee, but the nothing was harmed aside from a door, a lock, and the computer tower which can be seen mentioned above.[15]
Plea deal negotiations

On February 10, 2017 Edgar Maddison Welch is to submit a plea before the court. Prosecutors have made a plea deal, but it will be unknown until that time whether he accepts it or not.[16](archive.is)

Rudy Giuliani laid out evidence of Clinton bribery and pay for play on “Hannity” last night.

“It’s a massive fraud this woman is involved in!” says Giuliani. Hillary “was bribed.”

Hannity asked: Do you think that there’s any way with what we know now, short of a pardon, that she gets away without an indictment…?”

Giuliani said “There’s no way.” Then, he backtracked and said, “There’s one way. If, in his lame duck status, Obama gives her a pardon. And, he should promise the American people that he will not give her a pardon, whether she’s elected or not elected.”

Yeah the information is hitting hard and fast from Wiki, Twitter, FOX and now the FBI and possibly the NYPD.

While in contrast the MSM, (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NYT +more Outlets) WH, DOJ and other possible agencies are not cooperating. They're in some cases stonewalling, out right blocking and or hiding the evidence from ever seeing the light of day.

I also find it disturbing that this new HRC FBI investigation would not have materialized without large internal pressure below Comey within the FBI, in addition to the steady dripping by Wiki, Anonymous and NYPD stepping forward reveal information forcing Comey's actions now or look complicit.

The FBI obviously had more information but Comey was not prepared to deal with it in July 2016, less than 4 months away from the election.

I think the sex scandal without hard evidence is not the lowest hanging fruit with regard to the FBI investigation.

You will need serious tools to get that level of fruit down from the top of the tree without destroying it and or getting hurt.

The alleged sex trafficking scandal is by far the worst thing we've seen but you can't lead a serious investigation with second hand rumors or partial truths even leaning toward that direction. They (FBI/NYPD) have some rumored corroborating evidence on the subject with Epstein (Lolita Express) and the Clinton machine but are not releasing any of the details yet.

Probably because some is circumstantial and other parts are glaring but needs to be fully investigated to get a much clearer picture of the facts. If the FBI wasn't willing to come forward on the Clinton Foundation they surely wouldn't touch a sex scandal. However with the NYPD gleaning 650k more documents from the Wiener investigation may shed a new light on this.

I'm cringing because AJ will make this into a huge conspiracy show for his own personal ratings.

What he and others are doing knowing or unknowing is making the whole story toxic by taking kernels of truth and wrapping their own conspiracies around it to create a narrative they can promote to the point where the whole thing loses all credibility, including what was true.

If the rabbit hole goes that deep you will have build the case carefully to bring everyone up to speed based on irrefutable evidence.

The country is now deeply divided, in fact if you look across the isle Democrats are living in a totally different reality.

In an extended, 25 minute interview with Australia's John Pilger, posted now in its entirety on RT, Julian Assange said Hillary Clinton sparked an FBI backlash, which is now surfacing, when she stonewalled the Feds, who were trying to investigate her private server.

When asked by John Pilger about the significance of the FBI's intervention in this last week of the US election campaign in the case against Hillary Clinton, Assange responds that “If you go to the history of the FBI, it has become effectively America's political police.

And the FBI demonstrated with taking down the former head of the CIA over classified information given to his mistress [that] almost no one was untouchable. The FBI is always trying to demonstrate that, "No one can resist us." But Hillary Clinton very conspicuously resisted the FBI's investigation. So, there is anger within the FBI because it made the FBI look weak.”

FBI director Comey threw the presidential race, which had threatened to become a Clinton procession last week, into chaos when he claimed that the agency had potentially obtained new information pertaining to Clinton’s use of a personal email server, set up shortly after she became Secretary of State in 2009, when they obtained the laptop of Anthony Weiner, the ex-husband of close Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Weiner was being investigated for an unrelated sexting offense.

Clinton has categorically denied mishandling classified information by using a vulnerable personal email address for State Department business. Fox News has alleged that the FBI has obtained new evidence from Weiner’s computer that shows that Clinton was “very likely hacked.”

When discussing the hacked Hillary emails, Assange, whose WikiLeaks website has over the last ten months released three sizable batches of emails, relating to Clinton herself, the Democratic National Committee, and her campaign manager John Podesta, said the FBI has cause to investigate Clinton. “There's a thread that runs through all of these emails. There is quite a lot of "pay-to-play," as they call it – taking… giving access in exchange for money for many individual states, individuals and corporations.

Combined with the cover-up of Hillary Clinton's emails while she was Secretary of State this has led to an environment where the pressure on the FBI [to investigate] increases,” Assange said.

Regardless of whether Clinton ever faces charges, Assange asserted that Clinton was beholden to corporate and political entities that have been hidden from the electorate during the race to the White House.

“She's this centralizing cog, so that you've got a lot of different gears in operation from the big banks like Goldman Sachs, and major elements of Wall Street, and intelligence, and people in the State Department, and the Saudis, and so on. She's is the, if you like, the centralizer that interconnects all these different cogs. She's smooth central representation of all that, and all that is more or less what is in power now in the United States,” stated Assange, who said that the leaked emails presented a clear picture of this nexus of influences.

Assange also insisted that despite his image, projecting hope and change, President Barack Obama became “very close to banking interests” during his own initial White House campaign in 2008. “In fact, one of the most significant Podesta emails that we released was about how the Obama cabinet was formed – and half the [first] Obama cabinet was basically nominated by a representative from Citibank. It is quite amazing,” Assange said.

Assange also stated that as a result of too many vested "establishment interests", Trump won't be allowed to win.

Libya Is Hillary Clinton's War

According to Assange, Clinton’s emails reveal a plan, hatched months before the West’s intervention in Libya in March 2011, to make it the signature conflict of her tenure as secretary of state, and a podium from which to realize her presidential dreams.

"Libya more than anyone else's war was Hillary Clinton's war. Barack Obama initially opposed it. Who was the person who was championing it? Hillary Clinton. That's documented throughout her emails,” Assange said.

“There's more than 1,700 emails out of the 33,000 of Hillary Clinton's emails we published just about Libya. It's not about that Libya has cheap oil. She perceived the removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state something that she would use to run in the general election for president. So late 2011, there's an internal document called the "Libya Tick Tock" that is produced for Hillary Clinton, and it's all the... it's a chronological description of how Hillary Clinton was the central figure in the destruction of the Libyan state.”

But the scheme not only failed on a personal level, after Clinton was largely blamed for allowing a jihadist ransacking of a US compound in Benghazi in 2012, but also continues to haunt the country, which remains in a state of civil war, and Europe.

“As a result, there [have been] around 40,000 deaths within Libya. Jihadists moved in, ISIS moved in. That led to the European refugee and migrant crisis, because not only did you have people fleeing Libya, people then fleeing Syria, destabilization of other African countries as a result of arms flows,” said Assange.

Should Hillary win on Tuesday, and should the neo-cons in Washington finally get their day in the sun with the "pacifist" Obama gone, as the WaPo recently reported, we - and many others - expect more "Hillary wars" in America's future.

Clinton directed her maid to print out classified materials

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government e-mails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, e-mails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive e-mails that she may hold the secrets to E-mailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.

Clinton entrusted far more than the care of her DC residence, known as Whitehaven, to Santos. She expected the Filipino immigrant to handle state secrets, further opening the Democratic presidential nominee to criticism that she played fast and loose with national security.

Clinton would first receive highly sensitive e-mails from top aides at the State Department and then request that they, in turn, forward the messages and any attached documents to Santos to print out for her at the home.

Among other things, Clinton requested Santos print out drafts of her speeches, confidential memos and “call sheets” — background information and talking points prepared for the secretary of state in advance of a phone call with a foreign head of state.

In a classified 2012 e-mail dealing with the new president of Malawi, another Clinton aide, Monica Hanley, advised Clinton, “We can ask Marina to print this.”

“Revisions to the Iran points” was the subject line of a classified April 2012 e-mail to Clinton from Hanley. In it, the text reads, “Marina is trying to print for you.”

Both classified e-mails were marked “confidential,” the tier below “secret” or “top secret.”
Santos also had access to a highly secure room called an SCIF (sensitive compartmented information facility) that diplomatic security agents set up at Whitehaven, according to FBI notes from an interview with Abedin.

From within the SCIF, Santos — who had no clearance — “collected documents from the secure facsimile machine for Clinton,” the FBI notes revealed.

Just how sensitive were the papers Santos presumably handled? The FBI noted Clinton periodically received the Presidential Daily Brief — a top-secret document prepared by the CIA and other US intelligence agencies — via the secure fax.

A 2012 “sensitive” but unclassified e-mail from Hanley to Clinton refers to a fax the staff wanted Clinton “to see before your Netanyahu mtg. Marina will grab for you.”

Yet it appears Clinton was never asked by the FBI in its yearlong investigation to turn over the iMac Santos used to receive the e-mails, or the printer she used to print out the documents, or the printouts themselves.

As The Post first reported, copies of Clinton’s 33,000 allegedly destroyed e-mails still exist in other locations and could be recovered if investigators were turned loose to seize them. Higher-ups at the Justice Department reportedly have blocked them from obtaining search warrants to obtain the evidence.

It also appears the FBI did not formally interview Santos as a key witness in its investigation.
This is a major oversight: Santos may know the whereabouts of a missing Apple MacBook laptop and USB flash drive that contain all of Clinton’s e-mails archived over her four years in office.

In 2013, Hanley downloaded Clinton’s e-mails from her private server to the MacBook and flash drive.

“The two copies of the Clinton e-mail archive (one on the archive laptop and one on the thumb drive) were intended to be stored in Clinton’s Chappaqua and Whitehaven residences,” the FBI said in its case summary.

But Hanley says the devices were “lost,” and the FBI says it “does not have either item in its possession.”

In addition to Abedin, Santos worked closely with Hanley at Whitehaven and could shed light on the mystery — if only she were asked about it.

When a Post reporter confronted Santos at her DC apartment Friday, she would say only, “I don’t speak to reporters.”

According to a 2010 profile in The Philippine Star, close Clinton friend Vernon Jordan recommended Santos to the Clintons after she worked part-time for him.

Bill Clinton gave a speech in Manila as part of his foundation and took time to visit with the family of the “mayordoma [housekeeper] of his Washington, DC, home — Marina Santos.”

He was quoted as describing Santos as the “wonderful woman who runs our home in Washington, without whom Hillary will not be able to serve as secretary of state.” The article ended remarking, without a hint of irony: “Marina now runs his house so that he and his wife can better serve interests higher than their own.”

Santos could turn out to be the Betty Currie of the Clinton e-mail scandal. Currie was the secretary for President Clinton. She also came recommended by Jordan, and became famous as a central witness in the Monica Lewinsky scandal for her handling of gifts given to Clinton’s mistress.

Investigators had sought the gifts, allegedly hidden under Currie’s bed on orders from Clinton, as evidence.

The State Department and Clinton campaign did not respond to requests for comment.

Jesse Jackson: Obama should pardon Hillary Clinton

Speaking at President Gerald Ford's alma mater, The Rev. Jesse Jackson called for President Obama to issue a blanket pardon to Hillary Clinton before he leaves office, just like Ford did for Richard Nixon.

Stopping short of saying Clinton did anything wrong, Jackson told a large crowd of University of Michigan students, faculty and administrators gathered at daylong celebration of his career that Obama should short circuit President-elect Donald Trump's promised attempt to prosecute Hillary Clinton for use of a private e-mail server.

"It would be a monumental moral mistake to pursue the indictment of Hillary Clinton," Jackson said. He said issuing the pardon could help heal the nation, like Ford's pardon of Nixon did.

"President Ford said we don't need him for trophy. We need to move on. President Nixon wasn't convicted of a crime. He didn't apply for a pardon. (Ford) did it because he thought it would be best for the country.

"Hillary Clinton has not been tried, but there are those who want to drag her for the next three years. It will not stop until they find a reason to put her in jail. That would be a travesty."

In 1974, Ford, a University of Michigan alumnus, issued a full and complete pardon of Nixon for any crimes he may have committed. He said the pardon was in the best interests of the nation.

Jackson's comments came at the end of a long day in Ann Arbor, which included him dropping in on an anti-Trump rally held by students on campus.

Jackson comes to a campus that is full of strife over race. Numerous racist flyers have been posted and students have alleged they have been attacked because they are Muslim or a minority. There have been anti-Trump marches on U-M's campus, along with campuses across the nation. A large demonstration marched through a series of U-M buildings even while Jackson was speaking.

Students "are growing up in an America that is in an identity crisis," Jackson said. "These demonstrations are born out of fear. Fear that the Klan will ride again. Fear that violence (against minorities) is coming back.

"In this election,voters voted for fear. I think hope will defeat hate, but it's a battle."

In a conversation with the Free Press at the beginning of the day, he blamed Trump for the environment of fear.

Donald Trump saw an America that was a dry field, and instead of watering it to get the grass growing again, he threw a lit match on it, Jackson said.

Now it's up to Trump to take action, Jackson added.

"The one who set the field afire must be the one to put it out," he told the Free Press in a one-on-one interview. "He had the option to pour water on it (the dry field) and let it grow. He didn't do that — he chose to light it on fire. One of my concerns is that we see the division in America now because of that. We see classmates, roommates in a conflict over the way the campaign turned out.

"He knows Mexicans didn't take jobs from us. It was the corporations. He knows you can't deport 15 million (immigrants). It's not just about the adults, but also about the children who were born here, grew up here and go to school here."

Jackson told students not to give up the struggle.

"Students don't let them take your hope. Deep water doesn't drown you. You drown because you stop kicking. There is a tug of war for the soul of America. Do we want to be an aristocracy or a democracy? To be silent is to betray your conscience.You must not be silent in the face of violation of human rights."

FBI still hasn’t turned over Huma Abedin emails

The FBI still hasn’t turned over to the State Department any of the messages it reportedly obtained from the computer shared by top Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her now-estranged husband Anthony Weiner, the administration told a federal judge Tuesday.

FBI officials have signaled they will eventually turn over any State Department documents they obtain, lawyers said — but there is no time frame for doing so.

“We haven’t recovered anything from the FBI,” said Lisa A. Olson, the Justice Department lawyer handling the case.

The urgency of the case has declined after the election, which saw Ms. Abedin’s boss, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, suffer a shocking defeat.

A hearing that in the weeks ahead of the election drew massive interest from reporters instead saw less than a handful now. “What a shock that we have less interest today than in past hearings,” Judge James E. Boasberg said as he surveyed the empty courtroom.

Just weeks before Election Day, FBI Director James B. Comey told Congress his agents had come across new documents that were related to their investigation into Mrs. Clinton, which he’d closed out in July without recommending charges.

He never publicly confirmed the nature of the documents, but a number of media outlets said they were obtained from the computer shared by Ms. Abedin and Mr. Weiner. Mr. Weiner is facing his own investigation into whether he was exchanging sexually charged materials with minors.

Ms. Olson, the Justice Department lawyer, stressed Tuesday that they don’t have any official confirmation of the documents’ contents, but appeared to signal that the documents are indeed emails from Ms. Abedin’s accounts.

Ms. Olson said they’ve been told some of the documents are duplicates of what the State Department already has.
For now the State Department is still going through thousands of Clinton emails the FBI recovered during its criminal probe into the former secretary.

Those are being released monthly, after the State Department deletes duplicates.

Mrs. Clinton had insisted her lawyers had thoroughly scrubbed her emails and turned all of them that were work-related back over to the government in late 2014 — nearly two years after she left office.

But the FBI found thousands of messages it said were work-related but which she didn’t turn over.

Among those have been a handful of messages that contained information the government has now marked classified — further challenging Mrs. Clinton’s initial assertion that she never handled classified information on her secret account.

“Pizzagate” Explodes After Man Arrested In Comet Restaurant Shooting

Pizzagate took a turn for the even more bizarre on Sunday, as a man with an assault rifle walked into Comet Ping Pong to “self-investigate” the Baltimore, Maryland, pizza parlor that internet conspiracy theorists say is at the center of an international child sex ring run by prominent Democrats. 28-year-old Edgar Maddison Welch, of Salisbury, N.C., reportedly fired the rifle at least once inside the restaurant but no one was injured.

As HeatSt.com reports, Washington, D.C., police arrested the man Sunday afternoon, after restaurant employees saw a man, described as being in his early 20s and carrying an “assault rifle,” work his way through the dining room and then attempt to enter the staff work area at the back of the building.

Restaurant workers acted quickly, getting staff and patrons—including a number of children—to safety and dialing 911.Authorities were quick to respond. They subdued and arrested the man and secured the restaurant. No one was injured.

Did Attorney General Loretta Lynch lie about or obfuscate her role in clearing Hillary in the investigations concerning the handling of classified emails on her private server?

Is there a quid pro quo among the two women, in which Lynch could have been promised a role in the next Clinton Administration in exchange for her help in calling off potential criminal charges that might derail Hillary’s campaign.

Lynch claims there is no such relationship. But she also refused to answer at least 74 of Congress’ questions about her private meeting with former President Bill Clinton and her relationship with the Clintons and/or their staff.

Recall, that the announcement that Hillary was off the hook, as it were, came immediately after the Attorney General and former president met.

Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.

The Republican-led Congress, which has of course been very aggressive in spotlighting Hillary Clinton’s misdeeds, attempted to clarify the involvement of Attorney General Lynch.
Rep. David Trott (R-MI) claims that he had his staff count the number of times that Attorney General Loretta Lynch either ducked questions or didn’t give an appropriate response during her testimony before Congress.

“I knew you weren’t going to answer our questions today, and I apologize for wasting so much time here, because it’s really not been very productive. And I asked my staff to count the number of times today you would say ‘I can’t answer that question’ or refuse to give an appropriate response. It’s happened 74 times so far.”
“Really, it’s either one of two things: Either you’re trying to avoid the appearance of impropriety, in which case you should have recused yourself, or you’re trying to protect Hillary Clinton”

As example to this, Loretta Lynch refused an entire line of questions from Rep. Jason Chaffetz about whether or not it was hypothetically legal or illegal to retain classified information.
Despite the straightforward nature of this questioning, Attorney General Lynch refused to even acknowledge whether or not it is illegal to lie under oath.

Napolitano: Fmr. Attorney General Lynch Could Face 5-10 Years in Prison

Senate probes improper communication between former AG and Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch could be jailed for up to ten years if found guilty of misconduct, Judge Andrew Napolitano claimed Monday.

If emails exist between Lynch and former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz improperly discussing the Clinton email investigation, the former attorney general could be charged with “misconduct in office,” a felony carrying five to ten years in jail, the Fox Business contributor stated.

“It is alleged, this document has not seen the light of day if it exists, that there are one or several emails between Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Loretta Lynch concerning the behavior that Loretta Lynch will take to further the DNC interests while Mrs. Lynch was attorney general,” Napolitano stated. “That, if it happened, would be ‘misconduct in office.'”

“It’s a felony. Depending upon exactly what they charged her with, it could be five or 10 years in jail. It’s very serious. It’s the equivalent of obstruction of justice. It’s the same allegation they are making about the president.”

In a letter to Lynch last Thursday announcing a Senate probe into her conduct while in office, Sen. Chuck Grassley asked if she’d ever communicated with Schultz.

“During your time in the Justice Department, did you ever have communications with Rep. Wasserman Schultz, her staff, her associates, or any other current or former DNC officials about the Clinton email investigation?” Grassley’s letter read, with another question asking if “any of your Justice Department staff or your other associates” had similar communications.

Grassley’s inquiry followed testimony from former FBI Director James Comey earlier this month claiming he felt “queasy” after Lynch asked him to refer to the FBI’s probe of Clinton’s emails as a “matter” instead of an “investigation.”

This “terminology,” Napolitano stated, “may be indicative of a mindset on the part of Attorney General Lynch that she was going to do whatever she could to prevent Mrs. Clinton from getting indicted.”

Comey had previously stated under oath he believed Ms. Lynch’s tarmac meeting with former President Bill Clinton also destroyed the FBI’s ability to carry out the Clinton email investigation in a credible manner.

Photographer: Andrew Harrer/Bloomberg The House Intelligence Committee met behind closed doors Tuesday with John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman, amid complaints by President Donald Trump that the Obama administration didn’t do enough to counter Russian interference in the U.S. election.

Podesta’s email account was hacked, as was the Democratic National Committee’s. Many of those emails were then leaked, producing a steady, negative and sometimes embarrassing stream of news about Clinton’s campaign. But the Democrats didn’t cooperate fully with U.S. investigators.

“The president and the entire administration were dealing with an unprecedented incidence of the weaponization” of Russian cyberactivity, Podesta told reporters after emerging from the hearing room. He said they were dealing with the attacks as best as they could "on behalf of the American people."

Asked if he’d be coming back before the House or Senate intelligence committees, Podesta said, "Hope not." He wouldn’t answer when asked if the committee pressed him about the Obama administration’s response to the hacking.

But even Democrats said beforehand that they had some tough questions planned for him.
‘Fair to Ask’

"I think it’s fair to ask him: What was the campaign’s and administration’s response” to the hacking, said Representative Jim Himes, a Connecticut Democrat on the Intelligence panel, which is looking into Russian interference in the election.

Representative Adam Schiff of California, the top Democrat on the panel, has gone further: He has said said the Obama administration should have done more to counter Russian interference, and done so earlier.

Panel members declined to comment after meeting with Podesta.

Trump on Saturday tweeted in response to a Washington Post story Friday that detailed the Obama administration’s slow deliberations over whether and how to disclose its finding last year that Russia was trying to sway the election.

"Since the Obama Administration was told way before the 2016 Election that the Russians were meddling, why no action? Focus on them, not T!" the president tweeted.

Johnson’s Testimony

In a hearing last week, former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told the House Intelligence Committee that it wasn’t until Oct. 7 that he co-authored an administration statement regarding the Russian intrusions.

Schiff complained that was two months after he and Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein of California had written to Obama urging public release of findings related to the DNC hack -- and a month after the lawmakers had released their own statement attributing the hack to Russia and senior levels at the Kremlin.

"We were were concerned by making a statement might be, in and of itself, might be challenging the integrity of the election process," Johnson said.

Committee Republican Trey Gowdy of South Carolina asked Johnson about the DNC’s decision not to turn over its email server to law enforcement or intelligence agencies, saying, "Maybe we would have known more and maybe there would have been more for you to report."

Schiff followed up: "You’re not somehow saying that justifies the Russian hacking?" he asked Johnson.
Added Schiff, "There is a tendency to blame the victim. The DNC was a victim, was it not?"
