I have almost finished this book by Richard Dolan.
UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Coverup, 1941-1973

It is a fair read I didn't really look at what I was getting from the library I just thought it would be a bunch of reports (which it has a lot) through that time period. But it goes into alot of agency and private group research and alot of the big names in the ufo game in the 50' and 60's. He talks about Major Keyhoe alot and his work. The real point of the book is about the government interfering in the research of the different reports and what not. He has a volume 2 of course that keeps on going with chronology so I guess I will have to read that next.

If what the books premise says is true then it is interesting to note that while the Air Force was calling the whole thing ridiculous they were also conducting very serious research.

If anyone has read it I would like to read your thoughts.
