Received over the transom, here is a letter that has been sent to Senators urging them to support
more victim disarmament, and thus guarantee more mass homicides.
As you read the letter, consider the words of the people who sent it to WRSA (as redacted at the senders’ request for PERSEC): …There is a group formed [in the wake of the murders] called the Sandy Hook Promise. Recently they sent a letter to the Senate which I have attached. This group is very well funded by an outside entity and has hired a leader, who is salaried. Sandy Hook Promise is building a business, a liberal lobbying organization, on the blood of our murdered children. It is despicable. Attached is the letter that SHP sent to our US Senators. Please note, only 9 of the 26 families signed the letter…

Am I the only one that finds this incredibly strange? While I completely understand community concerns surrounding potential exploitation of the tragedy, they seem to be going way overboard in their precautions. I’d love to hear readers’ thought on this because it seems extremely bizarre to me…

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — When the old Sandy Hook Elementary School is demolished, building materials will be pulverized on site and metal will be taken away and melted down in an effort to eliminate nearly every trace of the building where a gunman killed 26 people last December.
Contractors also will be required to sign confidentiality agreements and workers will guard the property’s perimeter to prevent onlookers from taking photographs or videos. Demolition is set to begin next week and be finished before the Dec. 14 anniversary of the shootings. Town voters last month accepted a state grant of $49.3 million to raze the building and build a new school, which is expected to open by December 2016.
Most of the building will be completely crushed and hauled away to an undisclosed location. Some of the demolition dust may be used in the foundation and driveway of the new school, Llodra said. The town also is requiring documentation that metal and other materials that can’t be crushed and are hauled off-site are destroyed, she said.
In addition to the demolition crew confidentiality agreements, the project management company, Consigli Construction, also may do background checks on the workers.
Seems way, way over the top. Furthermore, it costs $50 million to raze a school and build a new one. Really?
Yeah, I saw a similar article the other day on r/conspiracy. Seems way over the top. I mean what the hell is the point of "requiring documentation that metal and other materials that can’t be crushed and are hauled off-site are destroyed"? Are they THAT concerned about people keeping mementos? If so give me a break.

(CNN) -- Some audio recordings of 911 calls from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting will be released Wednesday afternoon.
The calls, made to Newtown, Connecticut, police, are scheduled to be made available to the media on CDs at 2 p.m. ET.
The release of the recordings will be administered by the attorneys for the Town of Newtown at their offices in Danbury.

The Associated Press had challenged authorities' refusal to release the 911 tapes.
Last week, Connecticut Superior Court Judge Eliot Prescott upheld the Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission's ruling to release calls related to the December 14, 2012 shooting. A state attorney had tried to block the release to shield the victims' families.
The massacre at Sandy Hook left 26 people dead, including 20 children, making it the second-deadliest shooting in U.S. history.
The gunman, Adam Lanza, shot himself at the end of his 11-minute rampage.
Those mass slayings triggered a nationwide debate over gun violence, school safety and mental health, a debate that produced some new restrictions on firearms in several states.
I don't believe for a second he "took the motive to his grave".
They had his facebook account and other computer information. They have more evidence than they are releasing. They don't want to release the 911 calls and I'd bet cash money they are releasing a "few, select" calls and not everything.
I'd bet money someone else was involved.

Using the name Greg and apparently taking pains to disguise his voice, Lanza weighed-in on mass murder by comparing “a teenage mall shooter” to Travis, a chimpanzee who became infamous after ripping the face off a Connecticut woman in 2009.
In doing so, Lanza provided a frightening look not seen thus far into the twisted logic and troubled mind of the 20-year-old killer.
“His attack can be seen entirely parallel to the attacks and random acts of violence that you bring up on your show every week, committed by humans, which the mainstream also has no explanation,” Lanza says of Travis at one point.
“I just ... don’t think it would be such a stretch to say that he very well could have been a teenage mall shooter or something like that.”

Those words, uttered on Dec. 11, 2011, did not set off any alarms with “Anarchy Radio” host John Zerzan, who is himself a controversial fringe figure.
Perhaps it was because the caller delivered his seven-plus minute spiel in a soft voice and with the precise diction of a psychiatrist — rather than that of a mixed-up psychiatric patient.
“We remember the call,” Zerzan, 70, of Eugene, Oregon told The News. “The only thing that seemed odd was his voice seemed kind of robotic ... but what he was saying made sense.”
But 21-year-old Kyle Kromberg, who attended Latin class with Lanza from freshman to junior year at Newtown High School, recognized his voice instantly.
"It's him," said Kromberg. "I talked to him every day for about an hour each day from freshman to junior year, so I know his voice. He's a very soft-spoken kid, but very articulate."

Kromberg said he and another classmate often made a point of talking to the extremely introverted Lanza, who he recalled would dart out of the classroom as soon as the bell rang.
Another of Lanza’s former high school classmates, who last spoke to the killer back in late 2010, said after hearing the recording that it sounded like Lanza was trying to disguise his voice.
“Yes, I think it’s him,” said the friend, who asked not to be identified. “It does sound like something he would say. But he is talking funny.”
Asked to elaborate, the friend said, “He doesn’t usually talk like that.”

Lanza, who police said used the alias ‘Smiggles’ when he ventured into online forums where mass murder was discussed, talked about going on Zerzan’s show in a Dec. 10, 2011 post.
“I’m really surprised that I haven’t been able to find anything he’s written or said about the incident, considering how often he brings up random acts of violence,” Smiggles wrote before calling into the show. “It seems like Travis would be a poster-chimp of his philosophy.”
“It didn’t go as horribly as I anticipated. I wish that I hadn’t spoken nonstop about Travis for so long, but I didn’t want to seem crazy by randomly bringing up a chimpanzee for unknown reasons.”
But Smiggles, touching on same point his friend made to The News, also critiqued his “failed attempt at having a normal voice.”
Kyle Kromberg, a classmate of Lanza, says the voice on the radio is definitely the killer's.
“I at least sounded less incoherent than usual,” he wrote. “I normally speak much softer and swifter, with less articulation, less inflection, and more mumbling.”
Danbury State Attorney Stephen Sedensky, who led the official probe of the Dec. 14, 2012 slaughter of 20 first graders and six staffers at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, said investigators were aware Lanza reached out to a radio show.
“Adam Lanza may have called a radio station, but I do not specifically know whether or not that is Adam Lanza” on the audiotape, Sedensky said.
Zerzan said he was stunned when he first learned from Connecticut-based blogger Reed Coleman that he might have spoken with the mass murderer.

“There's nothing there indicating he was considering something so heinous and inconceivable," Zerzan told The News. "It was a year before Sandy Hook, so no one has any idea what he was thinking a year before…I don't see how anyone could have guessed that with what was said.”
Zerzan, a guru of the anarcho-primitivist movement that regards technology as a destroyer of society, added that he hasn't spoken to authorities about his brush with Lanza.
“They haven't come to me, either,” he said.
In addition to being obsessed with mass murders, Lanza was fixated with Travis, a 200-pound chimp who was raised like a human, police have said.

That’s just an hour’s drive from Lanza’s heartbroken hometown of Newtown.
In the call to Zerzan’s show, Greg did not sound like the public image of Lanza, the brooding and seemingly inarticulate man described by authorities who in his last days used only email to communicate with his doomed mother.
This ‘Greg’ insisted articulately that Travis’s lashing out “wasn’t simply because he was a senselessly violent, impulsive chimp.”
“Travis wasn’t an untamed monster at all,” the caller continued. “Um, he wasn’t just feigning domestication, he was civilized. Um, he was able to integrate into society.”
He added that Travis “was a chimp actor when he was younger.”

“His owner drove him around the city frequently in association with her towing business, where he met many different people, and got along with everyone,” the caller said.
“If Travis had been some nasty monster all his life it would have been widely reported. But, to the contrary, it seems like everyone who knew him said how shocked they were that Travis had been so savage, because they knew him as a sweet child.”
Travis, he continued, “didn't really act any differently than a human child would and the people who would use that as an indictment against having chimps live as humans do wouldn't apply the same thing to humans so it's just kind of irrelevant.”
Zerzan, who was not familiar with the Travis story, listened politely.
When Nash tried to “coax him back into his place of domestication, and he couldn’t handle that, so he attacked her, and anyone else who approached them,” Lanza said.
“And dismissing his attack as simply being the senseless violence and impulsiveness of a chimp, instead of a human, is wishful thinking at best.”
Lanza (aka Greg) is also heard saying that what happened with Travis “brings up questions about this whole process of child-raising.”
“Civilization isn’t something which just happens to gently exist without us having to do anything, because every newborn child — human child — is born in a chimp-like state, and civilization is only sustained by conditioning them for years on end,” the caller said.

Nancy Lanza was her son’s first victim. While she doted on her murderous spawn, she also displayed some stupendously bad parenting by teaching her mentally-ill son how to shoot. And she bought him guns.
Starting in Dec. 2009, Lanza began posting as Smiggles to Shocked Beyond Belief, which is fan web site for a video game based on the 1999 massacre of 12 students and a teacher at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo.
Among other things, Smiggles praised Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik in an Aug. 28, 2011 post for topping the bloody handiwork of Woo Bum-kon, the South Korean police officer who killed 56 people and wounded 35 more before killing himself.
Lanza, in a Dec. 30, 2010 re-posting by a user named The Mighty Wez, mused about the proper hardware for wreaking bloody havoc.

A disfigured Nash is still trying to sue the state for the horrific damages.
“I'm still waiting for a mass shooter who eschews 9mm (sic) pistols and instead buys an AK-47 pistol, 30 30-round magazines, and 1000 hollow points,” he wrote.
The killer was also armed with a SIG Sauer P226, which is a 9-mm. semiautomatic pistol. But there is no evidence he fired that weapon.
Cops also found an Izhmash Saiga-12, a 12-gauge semiautomatic shotgun, in the trunk of Lanza’s car. It also had not been fired.
Lanza, police said, hated being touched. And on Jan. 31, 2011, Lanza posted this jarring note on a thread called "body mods.”

“I castrated myself when I was 15 to rebel against society,” it said.
Later, in an Aug. 30, 2011 posting on a thread entitled “Are you a virgin?" Lanza apparently dodged the personal question and went on a tear, claiming “a degenerate capitalistic system results in a commodification of sexuality.”
Smiggles offered more curious insights into himself on Sept. 6, 2011.
“I used to think I was asexual, but the primary reason why I thought that was because my BMI was 14,” he writes, using the acronym for body mass index.
That too fits the description of the painfully thin, 6-foot-tall Lanza, who weighed just 114 pounds when he killed himself.

Close to nineteen months have passed since the event known as the Sandy Hook Massacre transpired. Amazingly, there has still been no conclusive evidence put forth by any of the families affected or the investigators involved to dispel the many ‘conspiracy theories’ that have evolved from the event. In fact, new mysteries seem to expose themselves even more as time passes by.

From Douglas Cottle, who died Sept 29, 2012, at age 62 to Michael Bellmore, who died May 3, 2014 at age 27, more questions than answers seem to arise. The Connecticut State Police Commander, the Connecticut State Police Commissioner, the Western Connecticut State Police Commander as well as the Connecticut State Medical Examiner have all been eliminated from the story either by retiring or death. What better way to cover up any possibility of ever disclosing the truth ? What better way to perpetuate conspiracy theories ?
Perhaps the death of Douglas Cottle was an unfortunate incident compounding the grief of Alissa Parker when she lost her daughter Emilie in the Sandy Hook tragedy. He was her father and the Grandfather of Emilie. He was a 62 year old dentist from Ogden,, Utah who sustained serious injuries while participating in his ninth LOTOJA 206 mile bicycle race on Sept 9, 2012. According to his daughter, she thinks another racer may have clipped his tire, throwing him off the bike where he crash landed on his face. His face suffered over 30 fractures ! Perhaps if repeatedly beaten with a tire iron, one could sustain 30 fractures. I find it highly improbable that a fall from a bicycle could inflict such injuries.(1)
Nevertheless, Mr. Cottle was sent to an ‘elderly care’ facility after being released from the hospital, apparently because the VA hospital was full. Mr Cottle was reportedly combative at times at the center as he repeatedly tried to rip out his feeding tube, despite their attempts to restrain him. He was uncooperative and reportedly tried to stand on his own, against the advice of his physician, which led to his falling down and sustaining yet another head injury. This time his injuries proved fatal and he died on Sept 29.
Was this a case of a terrible accident (there hadn’t been a fatal accident in LOTOJA’S 30 years of racing), compounded by a lack of critical care rendered to an apparently healthy individual (prior to the race), or was it the apparent removal of a person who may have had foreknowledge and was unwilling to participate in such an endeavor as the Sandy Hook Hoax ? From all of the nice things said about him in his obituaries, I truly believe this was a good man. At least in the case of Mr. Cottle, there is somewhat of an explanation as to the events and injuries that led to his demise. More recently, the death of William Podgorski, the CT State Police Western District Commander, who was also a Lead Investigator in the Sandy Hook incident remains unexplained. He died after a ‘brief, undisclosed illness’ followed by surgery on Monday, June 16 at Yale-New Haven Hospital at the age of 49. According to a friend of mine who had seen Bill Podgorski just a short time before his death, he appeared in perfect health. No further information has been released regarding this sudden death.(2

This Yale-New Haven Hospital was also the place where Reporter Michael Bellmore breathed his last breath on May 3, 2014 after being relieved of his duties as a New Haven Register journalist and reduced to a consultant to the Town of New Hamden. Judging from the credits on his obituary, this kid was a talented, aspiring journalist, who would never leave such an admirable job at the Register to become a ‘consultant’.

Perhaps he was asked to leave. He was involved in the earliest reporting on the Sandy Hook shooting and was there on Dec 14, according to his Twitter Feed. He was also present when both Governor Malloy and President Obama addressed the city of Newtown in the aftermath. How does a 27 year old die so suddenly and inexplicably, and, again, in the care of Yale-New Haven Hospital ?(3) Did he stumble into something he shouldn’t have ?
Some of the mysterious deaths occurring in the past 18 months are not as obviously connected to the Sandy Hook incident. Take for example JoAnn June Egletes, the secretary of Irving Pinsky, who was the attorney who initiated a lawsuit against the State of Connecticut for $100,000,000 on behalf of a 6 yr old child that was traumatized by the incident. Despite his acting on behalf of an affected child, he was immediately vilified, chastised and threatened. He even had gunshots fired through his office. He withdrew the lawsuit citing the need for further investigation. I wonder who would have the motive and the means (guns) to enact such an act of terror on his office.(4)
His secretary JoAnn June Egletes, died Sept 21, 2013, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Again, I have yet to find an explanation as to the death of this 53 year old woman. It would sure be an effective way to intimidate Mr Pinsky from reconsidering that lawsuit.(5)

It sure seems odd that the deaths of Egletes, Podgorski, and Bellmore all occurred at Yale-New Haven Hospital as well.
These deaths supplement the other few mysteries surrounding Sandy Hook, such as the death of Scott Getzinger, who was the props manager for the Batman Dark Knight Rises movie (in which the map showing ‘Sandy Hook was shown). He died after sustaining non-life threatening injuries in a car crash on April 7, 2012. The investigation of his death still has not been completed.(6)
There is also the case of Robert Hoagland, who went missing July 28, 2013 and has not been seen since! (7) He went missing when his wife was in Turkey for a 17 day excursion. With all of the mysterious $0 real estate transactions that have occurred and the odd number of homes owned by individual families and corporations, it is certainly relevant that Robert Hoagland was a Real Estate agent in Newtown. Despite various criticisms levied against Vision Government Solutions and their explanation that the zero dollar amounts assigned to various transactions was some sort of a ‘glitch’, they have since revitalized all of their data, and yet the zero dollar amounts remain!
I’m not sure why Robert Hoagland’s wife was in Turkey when he disappeared, but it is quite curious when you compare that fact to the case of Phillip Marshall, the 911 Truther who mysteriously killed his 2 children before killing himself while his wife was reportedly traveling abroad in – yes- you guessed it – Turkey! The untimely deaths of some of these involved parties is accented by the removal of other key players who have removed themselves by retiring from their positions making them unavailable to be held accountable for the roles that they played. Wayne Carver is perhaps the most notorious of these participants. After threatening in 2011 to resign from his position, he abruptly changed his mind and agreed to stay on. After lobbying against the passage of Bill 1054 (the Bill to prevent the release of pediatric autopsies), he suddenly had a change of heart there as well and supported it’s passage. As the awkward and sometimes imbecilic spokesman to the press, he will always be remembered for that famous quote- “ I just hope that the people of Newtown don’t have it come crashing down on their heads later.”
Wayne Carver retired May 1, 2014, but has stayed on to help his successor and to complete his cases. He claims he also wants to stay on in a part time capacity. Seems like he’s retiring without retiring completely.(9)
Next we have the State Police Commissioner Reuben F Bradford who shocked everyone by announcing his retirement prior to the release of the CT State Police Report on the Sandy Hook School Shooting. He was not very popular amongst the CT State Police as he and Danny Stebbins (the CSP Commander) were the first to receive a vote of ‘No Confidence’ from other State Troopers for the first time in it’s 109 year existence in June of 2012!(10) Commissioner Bradford also headed up the States Emergency Services and was quoted as saying “The horror and unspeakable sadness of that day and the lives that were lost will never be forgotten,” in a letter that accompanied the release of the long awaited ‘Official Police Report’.(11)
Danny Stebbins, who was vilified for releasing information about the Sandy Hook incident at a conference in New Orleans that was apparently meant to be kept confidential, also announced his retirement. He will be gone at the end of June, 2014.(12) Gov. Dannel P. Malloy credited outgoing State Police Col. Danny Stebbins with guiding the agency through the “unimaginable” and difficult period following the Sandy Hook shooting.(13)
Both Stebbins and Bradford were Appointees of Gov. Malloy and were directly responsible for signing off on the release of critical evidence and information in the Sandy Hook Shooting!(14) Now that they are gone will they still be held accountable if it is shown that some of this information was incorrect ?
Lt. George Sinko, who was working a side job directing traffic at a construction site on Dec. 14 and failed to report to Sandy Hook School until 2 hours after he was informed of the shooting, retired at age 49 in May of this year. He was reprimanded by Police Chief Michael Kehoe for his delayed response in 2012, but not severely enough according to his peers. When he was placed on administrative leave after an accident in April, he decided not to return to the Newtown Police force. Kehoe stated that he was “Not surprised” by Sinko’s decision. Another one bites the dust.(15)
David Fein, the State’s Top Prosecutor and Presidential Appointee also saw the aftermath of Sandy Hook as the perfect time to move on. Fein was involved with Eric Holder and Governor Malloy in implementing Project Longevity (a program designed to combat gun violence). He was also heavily involved in the investigation and pursued anyone who stood to capitalize on the deaths of those children (except, of course, the parents).(16)

Fein stepped up to the plate when a woman posing as the aunt of Noah Pozner was arrested for trying to solicit funds in his memory. “This arrest should serve as a warning to anyone who attempts to profit from this tragedy by contriving fraudulent schemes that exploit the victims, their families and individuals who sincerely want to help,” said U.S. Attorney David Fein. (17)
Despite denying any wrongdoing and saying she was ‘set up’, Nouel Alba was sentenced to 8 months in prison and 2 years probation.(17) She had only collected $240 and reportedly returned the money. U.S. attorney Jonathan Francis argued for prison time, saying Alba’s actions had caused emotional harm to the community and created a chilling effect on charitable giving.(18)
“It’s a callous, calculating attempt to profit off the murder of children,” he said. I guess the millions of dollars donated to the United Way and the Sandy Hook Promise are viewed in a different light.

So, as key role players in the Sandy Hook School Shooting continue to disappear, we are left to wonder exactly who, if anyone will be left to answer questions that remain unaddressed. Stephen Sedensky, the ‘Lead Investigator’ and J Paul Vance, the CT State Police Spokesman are two of the few that remain as the number of involved parties continues to dwindle.
If there is an attempt to conceal information from the Public, one of the most effective ways to accomplish that would be to remove the involved parties that have access to key information. Those that refuse to cooperate by retiring or resigning may be coerced or silenced in different ways. Here I have been able to cite only those parties whose stories have made it into the newspapers and local media. Who knows what other stories remain undisclosed to the public?
Another effective method of concealing evidence is to discourage anyone from asking questions in the first place. Remember that J Paul Vance, the CT State Police Spokesman said early on that anyone sharing ‘misinformation’ on Social Media would be prosecuted (19). What better way to control a situation than to make it illegal to disseminate information unless it comes from an ‘Official Source’. This, despite the fact that all of the early information from Mainstream Media came from “un-named or anonymous” sources!
As time has passed, we have seen examples of the persecution of, if not the prosecution of, people that do question the Official Story. One of the most intriguing cases is that of YouTube videographer Scotty Walker (AKA Jonathan Reich). It seems to me that Jonathan has some pretty legitimate questions that should have been asked by any responsible journalist in regards to the Coroner’s role in the passing of Bill 1054, which made it possible for the State to deny access to pediatric autopsy reports and is probably the most compelling evidence of pre-planning involved with the Sandy Hook Hoax. Dr Carver has never answered any questions regarding this, primarily because Jonathan was the only person with enough courage to ask him.

Dr Carver refused to even get on the phone with him, although he was obviously in the room with his assistant when the call was received. Jon also had contacted the Allison Wyatt Memorial Fund to ask them why they had mistakenly used the picture of Lily Gaubert to promote their fund raising efforts. Didn’t anyone realize that they were using the wrong child’s photo for nearly 2 weeks? Surely the parents had some involvement with their own child’s memorial fund- didn’t they ?
Jonathan was then harassed by the local New York Police (where he lives) and told that he would be arrested and held on $250,000 bond unless he drove himself to Connecticut and turned himself in to be held on a lesser $50,000 bond. Because he was so afraid and didn’t want to jeopardize his family, he complied. He has since spent nearly $50,000 on attorneys fees due to the fact that his hearing has been scheduled and then postponed at the last minute a total of 9 times so far. This sure seems a bit extreme for what is considered as a Class C Misdemeanor (the lowest of crimes) in Connecticut. (21)
More recently it has been revealed that a person could face detainment and even further punishment just for simply speaking about the possibility that all is not as it seems regarding the Sandy Hook story.
A school teacher from Pound Ridge, NY was recently accosted by police, taken to the hospital and involuntarily detained for over a week of ‘psychological evaluations’ where it was then determined that he somehow presented a risk to the community.(22) These allegations all came about as a result of his alleged online communications with an acquaintance on a Words With Friends App.
Whether or not this acquaintance reported directly to the FBI or whether his communication was somehow monitored remains to be revealed. Despite the subsequent findings that he is mentally competent, the Bedford School District terminated his employment on May 12, 2014. He has since initiated a lawsuit to get his job back.(23) Hopefully his lawsuit will lead to some legal discussion and a better understanding of the events surrounding Sandy Hook and the lack of disclosure.
History is being created before our very eyes. I encourage the reader to take the time to read the Wikipedia account of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting. There you will find a collection of nonsensical information that is presented as fact.(24) When we realize that laws are being written and society is being manipulated as a result of what happened on that fateful day, it becomes obvious that we have a responsibility to become informed of what actually transpired at Sandy Hook. After 18 months of research, the only thing that I am convinced of is that I do not know the Truth.

The socially isolated, violence-obsessed man who carried out the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School had severe mental and emotional problems that went largely ignored by schools and possibly his parents, according to a report released Friday.
The Office of Child Advocate, which investigates all child deaths in the state, concluded that "weaknesses and lapses in the educational and healthcare systems' response and untreated mental illness played in Adam Lanza's deterioration."
The agency released its report nearly two years after Lanza killed his mother then shot his way through the Newtown school, gunning down 20 children and six educators before committing suicide.
The report notes that Lanza suffered from "significant developmental challenges from earliest childhood" and his preoccupation with violence appeared to go unaddressed by the school system and even his parents. Play Video Newtown, Conn., still looking for answers
Authorities found violence-lanced writings and an arsenal of weapons in the Newtown home where he lived his mother, Nancy Lanza, and spent long hours playing shooter video games.
The authors of the 114-page report noted that although numerous mental health issues were not properly addressed and recommendations regarding Lanza's care went unheeded, they could not say whether more effective treatment could have prevented the tragedy.
"This report raises, but cannot definitively answer, the question as to whether better access to effective mental health and educational services would have prevented the tragic events at Sandy Hook," they wrote.
At different stages of his childhood, Lanza was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Asperger syndrome. The report says that Lanza resisted taking medication for his anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - a decision that was apparently supported by his mother. Lanza also apparently disagreed with his Asperger's diagnosis.
The report concluded that the school system cared about Lanza's success but also "unwittingly enabled Mrs. Lanza's preference to accommodate and appease" him.
Adam Lanza apparently cut off contact with his father in 2010 and "did not respond to numerous emails Mr. Lanza sent between 2010 and 2012 seeking to spend time with him." The report also asks whether a family that was not white or as affluent as the Lanzas would have been given the same leeway to manage treatment for their troubled child.
"Is the community more reluctant to intervene and more likely to provide deference to the parental judgment and decision-making of white, affluent parents than those caregivers who are poor or minority?" the report said.
Documents released by police in December 2013 included descriptions of sporadic treatment for his mental health troubles. At one point, experts at the Yale Child Studies Center prescribed antidepressant/anti-anxiety medication, but his mother discontinued the treatment after her son was unable to raise his arm after taking the medicine and never scheduled follow-up visits, police reports said.
The Yale Child Study Center, which evaluated Lanza at age 14, recommended that Lanza receive "extensive special education supports, ongoing expert consultation, and rigorous therapeutic supports embedded into (his) daily life."
Those recommendations, the report said, went largely unheeded.
A Connecticut judge last year ordered Newtown school officials to give Lanza's records the Office of Child Advocate for its investigation. The governor's Sandy Hook Advisory Commission has been waiting for the office's report before releasing its recommendations on what the state can do to prevent and respond to future incidents.

Some highlights from Friday's 114-page report from the Connecticut Office of Child Advocate that looked into the history of Newtown school shooter Adam Lanza:
? Lanza's mother and his educational team both had a goal to manage and accommodate his disabilities, rather than treat them.
? Lanza's parents and the school thought of him as intellectually gifted. But psychological testing showed his cognitive abilities were average.
? Lanza and his parents did not appear to seek or participate in any mental health treatment after 2008. There also was no sustained input from any mental health provider documented in Lanza's educational record or medical record after 2006.
? Lanza's "severe and deteriorating internalized mental health problems" were combined with a preoccupation with violence. With access to deadly weapons, this "proved a recipe for mass murder," the report concludes.
? Lanza's communications suggest depression and suicidal thoughts, but not psychosis. Autism spectrum disorder neither caused nor led to the shooting.
? The report questions whether Lanza's race and privileged socio-economic status impacted how he was treated. "Is the community more reluctant to intervene and more likely to provide deference to the parental judgment and decision-making of white, affluent parents than those caregivers who are poor or minority?" the report asks.
? Lanza was anorexic (6 feet tall and 112 pounds), to the point of malnutrition and resultant brain damage.
? The authors said they recognized the "significant role" that assault weapons and high capacity ammunition magazines played and said Lanza's easy access to them "cannot be ignored as a critical factor in this tragedy." The ready availability of assault weapons in the U.S. is a critical public health issue, they said.
