Congressman Lou Barletta, PA-11, today repeated his opposition to the relocation to Hazleton or any other location of unaccompanied minors who have recently illegally crossed the U.S. border with Mexico. Barletta cited newly published information as proof of his assertion yesterday that a group specializing in relocating refugees has targeted Hazleton as a housing site for the refugees.


The Times Leader of Wilkes-Barre, PA today confirmed that a non-profit organization called the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants has inquired about the availability of the former Hazleton MinSec Center as a housing location. At a press conference yesterday, Barletta listed a number of his serious concerns about the plan, including public health and national security problems it raised.“This published information publicly confirms what I had been privately warned about earlier this week,” Barletta said. “There are groups that are looking to relocate the newly arrived unaccompanied minors in neighborhoods across the United States, including Hazleton.


We have no assurances that these children have been screened for diseases, or that there have been background checks conducted on them or the people who are seeking to take custody of them. We simply cannot allow this to go unchallenged.”In the Times Leader story, Lavinia Limon, president and CEO of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, confirmed Barletta’s information about the Hazleton MinSec site.“We are doing our due diligence and part of that will include contacting local agencies and seeking input from the community,” Limon said. “We are not ready to proceed at this time. We want to know how the community might feel about having this facility in their community.”

California protesters block transport of undocumented immigrants

Anti-immigration protesters impeded the arrival of several buses transporting undocumented immigrants into a US Border Patrol station in Murrieta, California on Tuesday, some 60 miles north of San Diego.


The arrival of the group of Central American families had been decried by Murrieta’s mayor, Alan Long, who alleged that the group of immigrants, adults with their children numbering about 140 people, represented a public safety threat to the community.

Assembled protesters, who numbered 150, converged on a street leading up to an access road into the processing center, preventing the two buses from reaching the facility, reported Reuters.


Police at the scene did not attempt to break up the demonstration, which included picket signs with messages such as “Return to sender” and “Bus illegal children to the White House,” and anti-immigration slogans. Almost a half hour into the incident, the two unmarked buses turned around and left.


A representative of the border patrol agents union said that the immigrants would likely be rerouted to one of the other six Border Patrol stations in the San Diego region.

Local news reports seemed to confirm that the 140 undocumented immigrants were instead being driven to the Chula Vista Border Patrol facility in San Diego County.


The Central American immigrants had been flown to San Diego from Texas, and were on their way for processing at the Murrieta facility where US immigration officials told Reuters they would be released under supervision and await deportation.


Tuesday’s incident in Murrieta highlights the influx of both families and unattended minors from Central America, which have strained the border patrol’s resources and led to the creation of several temporary processing facilities to deal with overflow conditions in Texas.


Unlike undocumented immigrants from Mexico, who are subject to immediate deportation, the latest influx of families and children feeling violence and poverty in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras are instead subject to processing by authorities.


Unaccompanied minors are the responsibility of the US Department of Health and Human Services, which is currently scrambling to create enough housing and provide basic care. Some 500,000 unattended children have crossed into the US illegally within the past year alone. The agency’s program, Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), was only meant to serve the needs of some 8,000 children per year while being processed through US immigration court.


Temporary facilities have been set up in Nogales, Arizona to cope with overflow from South Texas. Meanwhile, another group of immigrants had been driven to a similar facility in El Centro, California, some 100 miles east of San Diego.

Fueled by Barack Obama’s unwillingness to enforce the immigration laws of the United States there has been an influx of illegal immigrants coming across the border.
In many cases the people crossing the border are children without adults, and in other cases these are families trying to get to the United States and this is all driven by the hope amnesty will soon be granted.


The word is spreading in Central America that no family will be turned away by the United States and this has helped to deepen the crisis.

Nora Griselda Bercian Diaz, a mother from Guatemala who crossed into the U.S. illegally with her 6-year-old daughter, told local media outlet KRGV that the message being spread in her home country is, “Go to America with your child, you won’t be turned away.”

And why wouldn’t they believe this, it is the truth. But what do you do if you do not have children you can use as a prop to enter the United States illegally? According to one Democratic Congressman, Henry Cuellar, you rent one:

Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-Laredo, TX) told local media outlet CBS DFW, “I was talking to somebody that worked for Border Patrol, and he said that in the late 80′s there were a lot of kids from EL Salvador coming in and what they were doing is they had a ‘rent-a-kid’ program. In other words they said ‘oh if I come in and I have a kid with me they’ll let me go.’”


The Border Patrol agent apparently told the Congressman, “Henry, I’m seeing this again, I cannot believe it.”

And they are being let in with no questions asked. Where once people used to sneak over the border in the hopes they would not be caught they are now walking up to Border Patrol and turning themselves in.


It is a strange world we live in when a state is sued for trying to enforce the immigration laws of the United States while the president changes the laws and the attorney general refuses to ensure the laws are followed.

In the run up to the 2008 Presidential election Barack Obama promised he would work to implement a domestic security force which would rival that of the U.S. military. It was an idea heavily criticized by his opponents because of fears that such an organization would bear similarity to World War II era spying groups that policed the citizens of Nazi Germany.


Many dubbed Obama’s proposed force the “Brown Shirts,” a term often used to describe a Nazi assault force and one that has repeatedly been associated with extremist nationalists for their unwavering willingness to take and execute orders without question or contemplation. Brown shirt brigades were tasked with, among other things, arresting dissidents, silencing criticism and wholesale executions of those who could not be reeducated.


For the majority, the notion that such a force would be assembled in the United States was nothing but another conspiracy originating from the lunatic right wing. But in October of 2012 the Department of Homeland Security quietly graduated their first corp of civilian responders under the new program. And since then it is likely that thousands more have been trained and deployed across the country to be called upon in the event of an emergency.


And if there were ever an emergency that required a military level response in the United States, many believe it is happening right now on the Southern border as hundreds of thousands of migrants make their way illegally into America. Because of the sheer number of people heading to the U.S. and the complete failure, whether by chance or by design, of the Obama administration to secure the border, America is now faced with housing, feeding, clothing and providing medical care for more people than it was prepared to handle.


In response, rather than deploy Homeland Security or the National Guard to stop the migration at its source, the Administration has instead set up makeshift internment camps, some of which put scores of people in a room the size of a studio apartment. As a result, disease has spread and civilian emergency personnel have been tasked with providing care.


But among the doctors and caregivers is also a private security force that has been hired to keep the peace. And according to several people working inside the camps, the security groups have turned their attention not towards keeping peace between the migrants, but rather, at keeping the goings on of the facilities completely secret from the general public.


According to the unnamed source, who could not provide video documentation of these events because cell phones are not allowed in the facility, the security force is reportedly calling itself the “Brown Shirts.” The insider says they have been given orders to arrest anyone speaking to the public or using cell phones, and have implemented what is being referred to as “Brown Shirts Law.”


“There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested,” a psychiatric counselor told me.
“We were under orders not to say anything.”

The sources say security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.”
“It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said.
“Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”
She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired.
“Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers.”
She said children in the camp had measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat as well as mental and emotional issues.

The U.S. Government has spent billions of dollars preparing a wide variety of protocols to respond to domestic emergencies. In addition to the Brown Shirt security teams currently in operation at migrant internment camps, the government has also stockpiled billions of rounds of ammunition, rifles, riot gear, armored vehicles, military drones and is believed to have set up hundreds of detention camps around the country in anticipation of events ranging from widespread civil unrest to natural disasters.


In the event of an emergency, the President, having authorized himself by Executive Doomsday Order, will have access to military assets, law enforcement, homeland security, and now a civilian policing force that is, apparently, ready to perform its job without questioning their complicity in covering up the spread of disease and who knows what else.


FEMA camps, believed to exist as a last resort in case the government has to round up and detain tens of thousands of people under a martial law declaration, will require very similar logistics as the existing migrant internment camps.


Now we know that, should you ever reside in a detention camp, there will be no information making its way in or out unless the message has been officially approved for dissemination. Anyone who fails to follow the rules and abide by Brown Shirts Law could have their career destroyed, be arrested or worse yet, charged under terrorism laws that, as the Brown Shirts of old may have referred to it, allow for a “final solution.”

U.S. Homeland Security buses carrying migrant children rerouted after being blocked by anti-immigration protesters

SAN DIEGO — U.S. Homeland Security buses carrying migrant children and families were rerouted Tuesday to a facility in San Diego after American flag-waving protesters blocked the group from reaching a processing centre.


The standoff in Murrieta came after Mayor Alan Long urged residents to complain to elected officials about the plan to transfer the Central American migrants to California to ease overcrowding of facilities along the Texas-Mexico border.


Many protesters held U.S. flags, while others held signs reading “stop illegal immigration,” and “illegals out!”


Many of the immigrants were detained while fleeing violence and extortion from gangs in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.


More than 52,000 unaccompanied children have been detained after crossing the Texas-Mexico border since October in what President Barack Obama has called a humanitarian crisis. Many of the migrants are under the impression that they will receive leniency from U.S. authorities.


After the buses in California were blocked, federal authorities rerouted the vehicles to a freeway and then to a customs and border facility in San Diego within view of the Mexico border.


The three buses were trailed by a half-dozen news crews during the two-hour trip. People near the San Diego facility were surprised by the caravan.


Juan Silva, 27, a welder in Chula Vista, said he thought officials were transporting drug traffickers. Then he heard the buses were carrying migrant families.


“I don’t think people in that town should be against little kids,” he said about the protesters in Murrieta. “We’re not talking about rapists. We’re talking about human beings.
How would they feel if it was their kids?”


After the migrants are processed, Immigration and Customs Enforcement will decide who can be released while awaiting deportation proceedings.








Earlier in the day, a chartered plane landed in San Diego with 136 migrants on board, according to a federal Department of Homeland Security official who was not authorized to be named when speaking on the issue.


It was the first flight planned for California under the federal government’s effort to ease the crunch in the Rio Grande Valley and deal with the flood of Central American children and families fleeing to the United States.


The U.S. government is also planning to fly migrants to Texas cities and another site in California, and it has already taken some migrants to Arizona.


Another flight was expected to take 140 migrants to a facility in El Centro, California, on Wednesday, said Lombardo Amaya, president of the El Centro chapter of the Border Patrol union. The Border Patrol would not confirm that arrival date.

On Tuesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel, Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio claimed that President Barack Obama’s immigration executive order is the execution of a “game plan” by the administration to create a crisis on the border to push amnesty.

Arpaio claimed the administration “can’t control the border,” and that the influx of illegal immigrants “is calculated by the president to cause controversy, hope the Congress does something, and then do the executive order which he did.”

Representative Jim Bridenstine (R., Okla.) was told he could schedule an appointment for July 21. ““What are they trying to hide?” Bridenstine said after the incident. ”Do they not want the children to speak with Members of Congress? As a Navy pilot, I have been involved in operations countering illicit human trafficking. I would like to know to whom these children are being released.”


There are 1,200 immigrant children at the base. Bridenstine’s office explained that HHS releases the children to a “sponsor” in the United States. The congressman said that a security guard at the Fort Sill, Okla., facility refused to let him enter the barracks without HHS approval even though he is a member of Congress.


“There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held,” Bridenstine said in the press release. “Any Member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks.”

The face-off came one day after Mayor Alan Long urged residents to protest the federal government’s decision to move the recent immigrants who had arrived in the country illegally -- and have overwhelmed Texas border facilities -- to the Border Patrol station here.
“Murrieta expects our government to enforce our laws, including the deportation of illegal immigrants caught crossing our borders, not disperse them into our local communities,” Long said Monday at a news conference. The city had defeated two previous attempts to send migrants to the facility, he said.
Unable to drop off their passengers safely in Murrieta, buses instead headed for a Border Patrol facility in San Diego County, arriving late Tuesday afternoon.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials met with city officials in Murrieta and Temecula before the protests, said Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for the agency, adding that ICE is aware of concerns in the region.
“We’re sensitive to those issues and we’re seeking to address them,” she said.
An initial 140 migrants had been expected to arrive in Murrieta on Tuesday afternoon, Long said, followed by arrivals every 72 hours for several weeks. The detainees are primarily children accompanied by mothers or fathers. They were to be processed at the Murrieta facility before being placed under the supervision of ICE agents who would ensure that they were united with family throughout the country, Long said.
This year, Border Patrol agents across the Southwest have detained more than 52,000 unaccompanied minors, with a particular concentration along the Rio Grande border in Texas, according to federal records.

Because of this influx, officials are sending migrants to Border Patrol facilities in less heavily trafficked areas, such as Southern California, for processing and supervised release by ICE agents.
By sending migrants to the Murrieta facility, the federal government is not properly enforcing immigration laws that require immediate deportation of undocumented immigrants, Long said.
But, according to the mayor, public safety officials were fully prepared for the arrival and have established an information hotline that residents can use for updates on the transfer.
“I can say, without equivocation, Murrieta will remain safe,” Long said.
Murrieta is one of several cities whose facilities will receive migrants as the government seeks to lessen the burden on the Texas border. Migrants will also be sent to a border patrol facility in El Centro, in neighboring Imperial County, as well as a center in New Mexico, which has also caused lawmakers there to protest.

In his comments Monday, Long emphasized the temporary nature of the new arrivals.


“There is not, and never has been, any intention to release these immigrants locally out the front door of the Border Patrol office,” he said.


Protester Roger Cotton, 49, drove up from San Diego to wave a flag outside the Murrieta Border Patrol Station.


"I wanted to say that I as an American citizen do not approve of this human disaster that the government has created," Cotton said. He said he believes the migrants who were supposed to be dropped off at the station would be a burden on an already strained system.


"Who’s going to pay for them?" he asked. "What kind of criminality will happen?"


Cotton, who works as a 3D animator, said he blames Democrats for not doing more to secure the border.


"The Democrats are making it easy for them to come here so they can produce more Democratic voters," he said.


Cotton arrived shortly after the bus was blocked and turned around. He said he decided to come to Murrieta on his own accord and was surprised to find other protesters there.


He stood with a group of them on the side of the road, chanting "USA" and sparring with a group of counter-protesters who had come to support the immigrants.


Lupillo Rivera, 42, was one of them.


A well-known Mexican banda singer who came to the United States at age 4, Rivera said he was driving by when he happened upon the protest at the Border Patrol station.

He said somebody shouted that he was an illegal immigrant and should go home. Rivera, who is a U.S. citizen, went home and returned with several of his friends and bandmates to confront the protesters.


"Our people cook your food," he shouted at them. "We didn't ask for them to come here," one protester shot back.


Rivera, brother of the late Mexican singer Jenni Rivera, said anybody who would turn away a busload of children was "not human."


"It doesn’t matter where a child is from," he said. "He deserves respect and help because he’s a child.


"How can a 5-year-old defend himself?" asked Rivera, who lives in Temecula. "I don’t think we should push a child out of our country."


As light faded over Murrieta, protesters continued their verbal sparring.


Protesters supporting immigrant rights waved Mexican flags and shouted slogans, while across the street, a smaller group of protesters opposed to the immigrants’ arrival waved American flags. Murrieta police patrolled Madison Avenue, which was closed to any further vehicle traffic.


At an evening City Council meeting, officials praised protesters for the lack of violence but assailed the federal government for what they say was a pattern of poor communication and inaction.


“We need to fix this permanently,” said Long, who had issued a call Monday for citizens to contact their elected officials to protest the move. “Today was a Band-Aid. The only people with the power to fix this are in the federal government.”



Other city officials expressed concern over how Murrieta, with a population of just more than 100,000, would house several groups of immigrants during processing.


City Councilman Rick Gibbs, who toured the Border Patrol facility where the immigrants were to be held, had reservations about the space. “This is a jailhouse,” he said.

“This is not a hotel. It is a spartan facility.”

Gibbs also doubted whether all the detainees would comply with the government requirement that they report back to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office within 15 days of their initial release.


“We're going to dump a bunch of people at a bus station, hope they get somewhere in the United States of America, and somehow in 15 days, they are going to respond and come back?” he said. “Everybody knows that 95% of them are never going to return.”


Councilman Harry Ramos agreed.


“You would get fined if you dumped off a dog in the street here in Murrieta, but that's what they are doing to people here,” he said.

Rick Perry to Obama: Come to the border

Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Wednesday that President Barack Obama must visit the Texas southern border to see the immigration crisis for himself.


“If he doesn’t come to the border, I think it’s a real reflection of his lack of concern of what’s really going on there,” Perry said on FOX News’ “FOX and Friends,” noting that Obama is planning to be in Texas next week for fundraisers.

“If the President of the United States is really serious about securing that border, we can show him how to do that,” Perry added. “But I haven’t even had a phone call from this president.”


Obama is scheduled to be in Austin and Dallas on Wednesday and Thursday for DNC fundraisers, according to The Monitor newspaper of McAllen, Tex.


Perry’s call for Obama to see the border crisis comes after what the governor said has been a clear “lack of focus” on securing Texas border for years. The humanitarian issue has come to the forefront recently after more than 52,000 unaccompanied minors and 39,000 adults with children have been apprehended trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally since October.


“The real issue, from my perspective, is this message that has come out of this administration for too many years that, ‘Come on up and cross the border and you can become a United States citizen;,” Perry said. “That has been, by their actions and probably by their rhetoric, a message that has been sent out.”


According to Perry, the approach of the Obama administration has caused him and others to lose trust in the president or others in Washington “to implement any policies that would deal with the issue of immigration.”

Smugglers Threaten Landowners in Cameron County

BROWNSVILLE - Ranchers along the Rio Grande say immigrant smugglers threaten them constantly.


One Cameron County rancher said smugglers ordered him to look the other way or face the consequences.


The landowner said smugglers are using trails on his property to bring illegal immigrants into the country.


The rancher said he fears for his safety.


"You don't see anything; you don't talk to anybody," he said.


He said smugglers stop at nothing to get the immigrants across.


"They have no problem doing whatever it takes to protect them and their organization," he said.


Landowners said the trails are becoming increasingly valuable to smugglers because they are not patrolled as often and public lands.


More than 180,000 illegal immigrants have crossed into the Valley this year. The landowner said he and his neighbors are feeling increasing pressure by smugglers to turn a blind eye to criminal activity.


"They basically come up to you and say, ‘we are going to give so much a day and we will drop it off and you do what you want with it," he said.


The man said he turns smugglers down.


"Once they get a hook in you, they got you," he said.


The man said his only protection is to keep law enforcement on his side.


Border Patrol officials said working with or taking money from smugglers is dangerous and against the law. Those caught cooperating with a smuggler may face federal charges.

SAN DIEGO - A handful of demonstrators remained outside a U.S. Border Patrol facility in Murrieta overnight Tuesday after large crowds forced a bus carrying undocumented immigrants to reverse course and head down to a San Ysidro checkpoint.

The buses were carrying 140 migrants, mostly lone children, who had come up from Central America through Texas. The migrants were flown on a U.S. government charter flight from Texas to San Diego International Tuesday afternoon, and then bused to a U.S. Border Patrol facility in Murrieta, a town in Riverside County.

After being unable to pull into the USBP facility in Murrieta, the three Department of Homeland Security buses left and drove down to a Customs and Border Protection facility in San Ysidro.

At about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, one of the buses pulled out of the checkpoint and onto a freeway. Two people sitting behind the driver appeared to be Border Patrol agents wearing masks. 10News could not confirm if any children were on the bus. As 10News was trying to follow the bus onto a freeway, Border Patrol SUVs blocked the entrance to the freeway.

Border Patrol union official Ron Zermeno told 10News Wednesday morning that 99 migrants were transported to various San Diego Sector Border Patrol stations for processing. According to Zermeno, 40 had been taken to Brown Field Station in Otay Mesa. Forty-two were taken to the Imperial Beach Station, and 17 to the Boulevard Station in southeast San Diego County.

Zermeno said Border Patrol agents were being pulled off the line to help with processing the immigrants. Zermeno told 10News this could pose a safety issue due to less agents on the street.
Meanwhile, 40 were being quarantined at the Border Patrol Chula Vista Station with active scabies and head lice. The facility will provide them with showers, laundry service and bedding. Another 10 people, mostly children, were taken to local hospitals with unknown illnesses.

The U.S. is seeing a surge of immigrants from Central America through Texas due to rampant crime there, with a large number of those being unaccompanied children who are seeking to join their families. Hondurans, Salvadorans and Guatemalans are making up about 75 percent of those caught in South Texas. Unlike Mexicans who can be deported the same day with a short bus ride, Central Americans must be sent home on U.S. government flights, an expensive process.

The immigrants are being spread out to different sectors to alleviate pressure on the stations on the front lines. The immigrants could be flown in from Texas to San Diego on charter flights up to twice a week, although that was not confirmed.

In an news conference Monday, President Obama called the spike in immigrants crossing into the U.S. through Texas a "humanitarian crisis." On Monday, he asked for more than $2 billion to help with the situation. The president said he will go around Congress and shift resources to the border by the end of summer.

After being processed, the migrants will be turned over to U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE). Those planning on staying with family members or friends across the country will be taken to bus terminals or airports -- but will be required to report to the nearest ICE facility for case management.
Zermeno said the immigrants will continue to be distributed among the other San Diego Sector Border Patrol facilities, which could include El Cajon, El Centro, Chula Vista, Campo, Boulevard or San Clemente.

According to a news release Tuesday, after being screened by the Department of Human Services, the immigrants might be released with instructions to report to an ICE office within 15 days. Some could be allowed to stay under the Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program. According to ICE, ATD is a “flight-mitigation tool that uses technology and case management to increase compliance with release conditions and facilitate alien compliance with court hearings and final orders of removal while allowing aliens to remain in their community.”

MURRIETA (CBSLA.com/AP) — A dramatic scene in Murrieta that saw American flag-waving protesters prevent Homeland Security buses carrying undocumented migrant children and families from reaching a suburban processing center is likely to be repeated in the coming days, a city official said Wednesday.


Mayor Pro-Tem Harry Ramos told KNX 1070′s Dick Helton that the standoff Tuesday – which included several protesters holding U.S. flags and signs reading “stop illegal immigration,” and “illegals out!” – may occur every 72 hours as a new busload of immigrants are processed through Border Patrol.

“I believe that there will be protests every time there are buses on track,” he said.


The standoff came after Mayor Alan Long urged residents to complain to elected officials about the plan to transfer the Central American migrants to California to ease overcrowding of facilities along the Texas-Mexico border.


After the buses were blocked, federal authorities rerouted the vehicles to a freeway and then to a customs and border facility in San Diego within view of the Mexico border.


At least 40 illegal immigrants processed are in quarantine for head lice and scabies, according to CBS 2′s Tom Wait. A Border Patrol agent told Wait another 140 could be brought to Murrieta on the Fourth of July.


Ramos said that while he supports “the rights of everyone to make their opinions heard” he hopes the demonstrations will remain orderly.


“I was really disappointed in seeing individuals inside the streets and blocking the pathway,” said Ramos. “But absolutely, I support anybody who wants to protest, no matter what side of the aisle you’re on.”


Ramos also had harsh words for the treatment of the mostly women and children aboard the Homeland Security buses.


“What’s happening now are people are being put into inhumane situations, this Border Patrol station does not have the facilities, is not equipped to properly care, treat, screen these individuals,” he said. “The living conditions are unacceptable, and this is going on from the border all the way up.”

DHS contractor threatens health workers who divulge infectious diseases brought by tidal wave of illegals into America

Thousands and thousands of illegals from Central America, many of them are unaccompanied minors with some still needing diapers, are pouring across the Mexican border into America.


By now, we have ample evidence that not only is the federal government not securing our border, Obama is deliberately enabling the human tidal wave of illegals. So brazen is the POS that on Monday, he told Congress right to their faces that he would act on his own after House Speaker John Boehner said the House would not take up an immigration overhaul this year. The next day, the POS taunted the Republicans, daring them to “sue me.”







Not only is the human tidal wave inundating our border agents and the border states of Texas, Arizona, and California, the illegals pose a serious health risk to Americans because they are bringing in contagious diseases like tuberculosis, measles, scabies, chicken pox, strep throat, including risk of the horrific Ebola that’s devastating West Africa.


The latest: Doctors and nurses at a Texas refugee camp for illegal alien minors are being threatened with arrest if they divulge information about the illegals’ contagious diseases and the risk they pose to America.


Todd Starnes reports for Fox News, July 2, 2014, that a DHS-contracted security force from the Baptist Family & Children’s Services threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Workers at the camp say the security forces call themselves the “Brown Shirts.”

In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans.


A psychiatric counselor said, “There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested. We were under orders not to say anything. It was a very submissive atmosphere. Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”


She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired. “Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers.”


She said children in the camp had measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat as well as mental and emotional issues. “It was not a good atmosphere in terms of health,” she said. “I would be talking to children and lice would just be climbing down their hair.”


A former nurse at the camp said she was horrified by what she saw: “We have so many kids coming in that there was no way to control all of the sickness – all this stuff coming into the country. We were very concerned at one point about strep going around the base.”


Both the counselor and the nurse said their superiors tried to cover up the extent of the illnesses.


“When they found out the kids had scabies, the charge nurse was adamant – ‘Don’t mention that. Don’t say scabies,’” the nurse recounted. “But everybody knew they had scabies. Some of the workers were very concerned about touching things and picking things up. They asked if they should be concerned, but they were told don’t worry about it.”


The nurse said the lice issue was epidemic – but everything was kept “hush-hush.” “You could see the bugs crawling through their hair,” she said. “After we would rinse out their hair, the sink would be loaded with black bugs.”


The nurse became especially alarmed because their files indicated the children had been transported to Lackland on domestic charter buses and airplanes. “That’s what alerted me,” she said. “Oh, my God. They’re flying these kids around. Nobody knows that these children have scabies and lice. To tell you the truth, there’s no way to control it.”
That means Americans traveling in buses and passenger planes could have been and are exposed to lice and other contagions and infections.

The counselor described the refugee camp as resembling a giant emergency room – off limits to the public: “They did not want the community to know. I initially spoke out at Lackland because I had a concern the children’s mental health care was not being taken care of.” The breaking point came when camp officials refused to hospitalize several children who were suicidal. “I made a recommendation that a child needed to be sent to a psychiatric unit,” the counselor said. “He was reaching psychosis. He was suicidal. Instead of treating him, they sent him off to a family in the United States.”


She said she filed a Child Protective Services report and quit her job: “I didn’t want to lose my license if this kid committed suicide. I was done.”


The counselor kept a detailed journal about what happened during her tenure at the facility. “When people read that journal they are going to be astonished,” she said. “I don’t think they will believe what is going on in America.”


So it was not a great surprise, she said, when she received a call from federal agents demanding that she return to the military base and hand over her journal. She declined. “I didn’t go back to Lackland,” she said.


Both the counselor and the nurse said while they have no regrets, they want to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals.


“They’re going to crush the system,” the nurse said. “We can’t sustain this. They are overwhelming the system and I think it’s a travesty. This is just the beginning. It is a long-term financial responsibility.”

Baptist Children’s and Family Services (BCFS) spokeswoman, Executive VP of External Affairs Krista Piferrer said the agency takes “any allegation of malfeasance or inappropriate care of a child very seriously. There are a number of checks and balances to ensure children are receiving appropriate and adequate mental health care.” She said the clinicians are supervised by a federal field specialist from HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement, and that BCFS have 58 medical professionals serving at Lackland.


As for those brown shirts, the BCFS said they are “incident management team personnel” – who happen to wear tan shirts.


ABC10 reports that 40 illegals are being quarantined at California’s Border Patrol Chula Vista Station with active scabies and head lice. The facility will provide them with showers, laundry service and bedding. Another 10 people, mostly children, were taken to local hospitals with unknown illnesses.

OK Congressman denied access to Ft. Sill where 1,200 unaccompanied minors are being held

Congressman Bridenstine said, “There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held. Any Member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks.”

The Health and Human Services (HHS) official who appears to be in charge of the facility, told Congressman Bridenstine he could schedule an appointment for July 21. HHS Deputy Director of the Office of Public Affairs, Ken Wolfe, would not take the Congressman’s phone call. The Congressman was told to send Mr. Wolfe an email as that was the preferred method of communication. Congressman Bridenstine’s email to Mr. Wolfe included this press release.


“After my visit today with the base commander, I approached the barracks where the children are housed. A new fence has been erected by HHS, completely surrounding the barracks and covered with material to totally obscure the view. Every gate is chained closed.

Oklahomans expect an economic boom as a result of the flood of illegal immigrant children the federal government has begun sending their way.
The Department of Defense has loaned the facilities at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, to the Department of Health and Human Services to house approximately 600 unaccompanied alien children, according to the Department of Defense. Local officials expect the surrounding community to reap the rewards.
“They’re talking about $1.2 million impact for the Lawton-Fort Sill community within the first 30 days,” Lawton Mayor Fred Fitch told KSWO 7 News.
Lawton will roll in federal tax dollars/federal workers and the “children” will all be good kids (as long as they are confined)!
The Oklahoman reports the ratio of federal worker to child at Ft. Sill will be one federal worker per every two children. Based on that ratio, the area could expect approximately 300 federal workers. An HHS factsheet indicates such workers would include representatives from the Office of Refugee Resettlement within HHS’ Administration for Children and Families. The kids will be kept in a 200,000 square foot building and kept under 24-hour supervision. Fitch insisted to KSWO that the children will not be allowed to leave the confines of the post and that the influx of children will not have any adverse impact on the local community.

Tuberculosis outbreak at Sacramento high school

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Health officials in California say a high school is at the center of a tuberculosis outbreak in Sacramento County.


The Sacramento Bee reported Tuesday (http://bit.ly/1riccLH ) that four more students at Grant Union High School have contracted active TB. A student at the school tested positive for the disease earlier this year.


Beyond the Grant cases, four relatives and friends of the student who initially tested positive have also contracted active TB — bringing the total to nine known cases.
Sacramento County Public Health Officer Olivia Kasirye says three related tuberculosis cases is considered an outbreak.


Symptoms of active TB can include a persistent cough and fever. Only active TB can be contagious. It is spread through the air.


County officials say the four additional students are not infectious.
