    About the Show

The elite Combat Rescue members of the U.S. Air Force, Pararescuemen, or PJs, have one mission: rescue American or Allied forces in extreme danger. Whether their targets are shot down or isolated behind enemy lines, surrounded, engaged, wounded, or captured by the enemy, PJs will do whatever necessary to bring those in peril home. For the first time in their history, the PJs allow camera crews to cover their missions in Afghanistan. Inside Combat Rescue is the story of the lives of these elite airmen.

I am sure you guys have probably seen this. I don't have cable so I heard about it at work thought I would share. Very impressed with what I seen. Hard to watch at times though because of the trauma.

I missed the pilot when it first aired and first started watching it last week when they re-aired it.

    Great, great show!

So far the scene that really got to me the most was watching those guys get word about the IED injured Afghan kids and not being able to do anything to help them due to MEDROE since they weren't injuries caused by our forces. I really wish the liberals that accuse our troops of killing and terrorizing innocents could see how they were torn up to have their hands tied, not being able to help some young kids that were complete strangers to them. Of course the libs would probably just claim they were putting on a show for the cameras.

Oh, and their alert warning kills me!

    LEEEEEEEERRROOOOOYYYYYY JEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNKKKKKIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNSSSSSSSS S!!!!!

I believe Phil and I both (along with most of our guild) had "nicknames" applied as "Leeroy Jenkins" lol

Had something to do with killing a mass of penguins or something... I think (getting the nickname that is) LOL

It was killing x number of the eggs that spawn in a particular dungeon room in a specific time. Yes, we all did attain this title.

Despite the poor video quality I had pangs of desire to play the game and have not in ages.

    hahahaha.

Apparently Carlos re-loaded Dark Ages of Camelot a month or so back, and decided it hadn't changed, it was still laggy as hell etc.

I've removed most of the games from my desktop PC.

Matter of fact, I cleared out most of the radio room yesterday. Only the PC is still there. Have to do the taxes (been putting it off, so need to get them done).

I don't see enough TV to know what Combat Rescue is... so back the regularly scheduled thread!
