Illegal Alien Wanted In New York For Child Rape, Found In Atlanta

On Friday, Dagoberto Ruiz-Barrios, 41, was arraigned at the Wayne County Hall of Justice on multiple counts of child sexual assault.
The illegal alien was recently taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service in Georgia.

WHEC reported:

State Police say Barrios raped a six-year-old girl in July 2011 in Clyde, New York. Barrios was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on March 15 and was extradited to Wayne County.
Dagoberto Ruiz-Barrios has been on the run since a grand jury indicted him for reportedly raping a the young girl.

According to detectives, the girl’s mother was visiting Ruiz-Barrios' roommate in Wayne County when she was raped on at least two separate occasions.

Despite his illegal status, Ruiz-Barrios was working on a construction crew at the time of the alleged rapes, building a grain silo.

Ruiz-Barrios has been charged with three counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, rape in the first degree and two counts of performing a criminal sexual act.

He is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail on an immigration detainer.
