Tanzania Reception of President Obama and First Lady
    By Nigel J. Covington III
    Editor-in-Chief
A short time ago while addressing a CEO roundtable and Business Forum in Tanzania, President Barack H. Obama, told reporters and attendees that today’s Tea Party members in the United States very closely fit the U.S. government’s profile for domestic terrorists. The President’s response came after a Tanzania businessman asked if civil unrest in the U.S. is likely to affect doing business with American companies.
The President and First Lady are in Tanzania as part of their tour of South Africa. The President and First Lady attended a tree planting ceremony with President Kikwete earlier and are scheduled to have dinner with the South African President of the United Republic of Tanzania later at the State House, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

President Obama Takes Questions During Tanzania Business Forum Today
The initial reaction to President Obama’s comment comparing Tea Party members to domestic terrorists is likely to create quite a stir among American conservatives though mainstream media in the U.S. has been slow to pick up the story.
“The conservative era of the U.S. has ended. There is a new wind of change and hope for all Americans as we work to build a strong economy and a stronger nation. Americans want this change, Americans want what’s best for the country and my administration has been very receptive to listening to their ideas and needs,” the President said.
AP reporter Ramona Darlington, who attended the conference asked President Obama to explain what the profile of an American domestic terrorists is? Obama responded by saying, “Typically domestic terrorists in the U.S. are people who cling to obsolete beliefs from the time of the American Revolution. They are conservative Christians, reactionary Republicans and conspiracy theorists many of whom belong to racist hate groups.”
“Tea Partiers commonly own guns and stock up ammunition and food in anticipation of starting another civil war to overthrow the will of the governing body who represent all of the American people. We are prepared for any contingency and don’t expect to see any kind of large insurrection. Americans are capitalists who are much more interested in seeing America move forward. These terrorists groups are small in size and really present little danger,” the President added.
Though the President’s comments generated some excitement with reporters, the President refused to take further questions and was ushered out of the Hyatt Kilimanjaro to his awaiting motorcade.

You really have to wonder about people.....Then I found this:

Article claims Obama called Tea Partiers domestic terrorists while in Africa

An article making the rounds on the Internet says that Barack Obama told AP reporter Ramona Darlington that members of the Tea Party fit the profile of a domestic terrorist while in Tanzania. But the Washington Post said Friday that the story is false, and the reporter cited does not exist.

An article at the National Report claims Obama was asked to explain the profile of an American domestic terrorist while at a CEO roundtable and business forum in Tanzania.

“Typically domestic terrorists in the U.S. are people who cling to obsolete beliefs from the time of the American Revolution. They are conservative Christians, reactionary Republicans and conspiracy theorists many of whom belong to racist hate groups,” Obama reportedly said, according to Nigel J. Covington.

These terrorists groups are small in size and really present little danger,” the article claims Obama said.

The Post's Erik Wemple said the Associated Press is playing defense on the story, with spokesman Paul Colford posting rebuttals in comments sections.

"AP employs no one named Ramona Darlington. You are citing a bogus story that someone has crafted and fraudulently attributed to AP," he wrote on a post at Mark Levin's Facebook page.

“Regrettably," Colford said, "this happens from time to time.”

“In this particular case, there is no AP reporter named Ramona Darlington, this is not an AP story and as best as I can tell, a few people have been had,” he added.

The Post notes a disclaimer on the article that reads: "The National Report is an online portal for 'citizen journalists'. The views expressed by writers on this site are theirs alone and are not reflective of the fine journalistic and editorial integrity of National Report. Advice given is NOT to be construed as professional. If you are in need of professional help, please consult a professional. National Report is not intended for children under the age of 18."

"That’s one disclaimer that should be heeded very carefully," Wemple wrote.

It's no secret the Obama administration has no love for the Tea Party. In August 2011, Vice President Joe Biden sparked controversy when he reportedly referred to Tea Party Republicans as terrorists during a two-hour closed-door meeting with other Democrats.

But the story posted by the National Report does not appear to be true.

Donald Sensing wrote that a Google search of "Ramona Darlington" only turns up links to this story, and the only "Ramona Darlington" he could find on LinkedIn is a research scientist. We also could find nothing written at the AP by a "Ramona Darlington."

"The Left loves it when gullible people on the Right circulate stuff like this. Stick to just the facts, because they are bad enough," he warned.

"The truth about this president is bad enough, folks, there is no reason to invent quotes or circulate them," Sensing added.

Now... Just to be clear, I don't like Obama, not a bit. He's a liar, he's a Marxist and he does hate Tea Party people, and Conservatives, and Capitalists.

But there's not a damned reason to make crap up about the guy. He's doing his level best to destroy America without our assistance.

I mean, they have Joe Biden:
Report: Vice President Joe Biden calls Tea Party Republicans terrorists

Democratic sources say VP Joe Biden called Tea Party Republicans terrorists, but VP claims otherwise.

    CBS News

Biden reportedly made the connection in a two-hour closed-door meeting with other Democrats upset over the debt ceiling deal, when he agreed with Rep. Mike Doyle (D-PA).
    According to Politico:
“We have negotiated with terrorists,” an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”
Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists.”
Later, the Vice President denied using the term, and his office issued a statement saying that Biden does not believe such talk is appropriate.

Vice President Biden discusses "terrorism" remark

“The word was used by several members of Congress. The vice president does not believe it’s an appropriate term in political discourse,” Biden spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said after Politico published the remarks.
Jonathan Allen and John Bresnahan wrote:
“I did not use the terrorism word,” Biden told CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley.
Earlier in the day, Biden told Senate Democrats that Republican leaders have “guns to their heads” in trying to negotiate deals.
    CBS News reported:

Biden told Pelley he let lawmakers "vent" about the deal, which includes spending cuts but may not include revenue increases. (Some liberal House Democrats have vowed not to back the deal.) But he says he did not assert that he agreed with the terrorism comparison.
"What happened was there were some people who said they felt like they were being held hostage by terrorists," he said. "I never said that they were terrorists or weren't terrorists, I just let them vent."
Added Biden: "I said even if that were the case, what's been happening when you now have taken and paid the debt and move that down so we can now discuss, the nuclear weapon's been taken out of anyone's hands."
Throughout the debate over the debt ceiling, elected Democrats and their allies in the Democrat-media complex have repeatedly called the Tea Party terrorists for daring to suggest the country live within its means.
One of the worst attacks came from an op-ed at Politico who called the Tea Party unpatriotic terrorists while suggesting deadly force be applied to the fiscal conservatives.
"The challenge for America is to stand firm in the face of terrorism, no matter the source," American University law professor William Yeomans wrote. Given that America is engaged in a shooting war with terrorists the world over, the implication is clear - and more than a bit disturbing.
It's all part of the Democrat-media complex's jihad against truth and the Tea Party.
    National Review's Jonah Goldberg tweeted:
"Obama's Arizona "civility speech" is meaningless if his VP can call opponents terrorists.

Joe Biden: No More Rand Pauls and Ted Cruzes in Congress

    Thu, 08/08/2013 - 10:30am | posted by Jason Pye

Vice President Joe Biden is calling Democrats to action to stop grassroots conservatives from electing more Republicans in the mold of Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rand Paul (R-KY).

In a fundraising letter for the Democratic National Committee, first reported by Ed Krayewski at Reason, Biden wrote told prospective donors that a “group of freshmen senators are running the show in the Republican Party” and played up the possibility of a government shutdown over ObamaCare.

“Now these aren’t bad guys, but I want you to think about this: not only are they still trying to get rid of health care reform — they’re willing to use the entire federal government as a bargaining chip to get it done,” wrote Biden. “That’s what we’re dealing with in Washington right now, and it’s unprecedented in my lifetime.”

“Make no mistake — one thing we don’t need is to let the Republicans outrun us in 2014, and elect a bunch more people to the House and Senate who think, act, and vote the way Ted Cruz and Rand Paul do,” he added.

Biden’s comments are practically identical to a speech he gave during a recent fundraiser in Massachusetts in which he asked the crowd, “Have you ever seen a time when two freshman senators are able to cower the bulk of the Republican Party in the Senate?”

While already notable players given how they won tough primaries against establishment-backed candidates, Paul, Cruz, and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) have emerged as the conscience of the Republican Party in the Senate, principled conservatives who are willing to take stands when leaders would prefer they toe the party-line.

It started with the Paul-led filibuster on drones. Cruz-led followed with an effective grassroots push against gun control. And now, Lee (R-TX) has led the charge to defund ObamaCare.

This conservative trio has really upset the power structure in Washington. The Senate has always been a place that operates on tradition and consensus, but Cruz, Paul, and Lee have brought a much needed grassroots flair to the chamber that threatened the status quo preferred by Democrats and Republicans alike.

Biden may be the person saying it, but that sentiment is probably shared by many Republicans in the Senate and establishment talking heads.

HELLO! Meet the 72 Types Of Americans That Are Considered “Potential Terrorists” by the Obama Administration

Are you a conservative, a libertarian, a Christian or a gun owner? Are you opposed to abortion, globalism, Communism, illegal immigration, the United Nations or the New World Order? Do you believe in conspiracy theories, do you believe that we are living in the “end times” or do you ever visit alternative news websites (such as this one)?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are a “potential terrorist” according to official U.S. government documents.

At one time, the term “terrorist” was used very narrowly. The government applied that label to people like Osama bin Laden and other Islamic jihadists. But now the Obama administration is removing all references to Islam from terror training materials, and instead the term “terrorist” is being applied to large groups of American citizens.

And if you are a “terrorist”, that means that you have no rights and the government can treat you just like it treats the terrorists that are being held at Guantanamo Bay. So if you belong to a group of people that is now being referred to as “potential terrorists”, please don’t take it as a joke. The first step to persecuting any group of people is to demonize them. And right now large groups of peaceful, law-abiding citizens are being ruthlessly demonized.

Below is a list of 72 types of Americans that are considered to be “extremists” and “potential terrorists” in official U.S. government documents. To see the original source document for each point, just click on the link. As you can see, this list covers most of the country…

    1. Those that talk about “individual liberties”

    61. Those that “believe in the right to bear arms”
    62. Anyone that is engaged in “ammunition stockpiling”
    63. Anyone that exhibits “fear of Communist regimes”
    64. “Anti-abortion activists”
    65. Those that are against illegal immigration
    66. Those that talk about “the New World Order” in a “derogatory” manner
    67. Those that have a negative view of the United Nations
    68. Those that are opposed “to the collection of federal income taxes”
    69. Those that supported former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr
    70. Those that display the Gadsden Flag (“Don’t Tread On Me”)
    71. Those that believe in “end times” prophecies
    72. Evangelical Christians

The groups of people in the list above are considered “problems” that need to be dealt with. In some of the documents referenced above, members of the military are specifically warned not to have anything to do with such groups.

We are moving into a very dangerous time in American history. You can now be considered a “potential terrorist” just because of your religious or political beliefs. Free speech is becoming a thing of the past, and we are rapidly becoming an Orwellian society that is the exact opposite of what our founding fathers intended.

Please pray for the United States of America. We definitely need it.

    ——————-

***NoisyRoom note: I would add the Tea Party, 912 Projects, The Heritage Foundation, The Senate Conservatives Fund and FreedomWorks, since they are actively coming after us. In other words, anyone who is conservative politically. You can also add anyone against Obamacare and anyone against the endless printing and spending of money. Now that I think of it, you can also add anyone against Islam, the surveillance state or the R2P Doctrine. The list could go on and on and on…

Obama orders Navy SEALS to remove 'Don't Tread on Me' Navy Jack from Uniforms

The Navy Jack is the ‘don’t tread on me’ flag, one that has earned a revered place in America’s naval history and a beloved place in sailor’s hearts, through its use for over two centuries. This symbol of America’s naval ferocity has spanned our country’s entire existence, flying from the masts of the Continental Navy during the war of independence, to today’s War on Terror. In fact, an amendment to the Navy code called SECNAV Instruction 10520.6 clearly states that as of 31 May 2002 all ships are to fly the flag throughout the duration of the War on Terror.

So why would ranking SEAL commanders ban the historical symbol? Is the proverbial top bass banning the flag? Is President Obama?

Clearly the administration and sycophant “top brass” officers have degraded America’s military prestige; from hand-tying rules of engagement, to uniform regulations that make our military allegedly more compatible with foreign forces, to the banning of an awe-inspiring flag that traces its roots to the first U.S. Navy. We have a civilian-led military, but why should our ranking commanders be complicit in the administration’s war on it? Why don’t they stand up to Obama and his leftist cronies?

During my two deployments to Iraq, “Don’t Tread on Me” was a phrase seen on nearly every uniform and platoon space — including mine. From patches to flags to large paintings on concrete barriers, our commanders themselves wore the insignia on their sleeves — until now.

Perhaps this is why so many of my former teammates felt compelled to send me the email below. They may not be able to expose the administration’s travesty, but I can. The email, dated October 22, reads:

    ALL:
WARCOM and GROUP TWO/ONE have pushed out the uniform policy for NWU III and any patches worn on the sleeve.

All personnel are only authorized to wear the matching “AOR” American Flag patch on the right shoulder. You are no longer authorized to wear the “Don’t Tread On Me” patch.

Again the only patch authorized for wear is the American flag on the right shoulder. Please pass the word to all
    Thanks

    Senior Enlisted Advisor
    [Name Redacted]
After reading the email, I first wondered, ‘why?’ (Actually, first I headed to the gym to take out my frustration and anger on some unsuspecting weights with the fury and intensity only a former Navy SEAL can exert.) Why would our leaders sell out our heritage? Why would they rob present and future sailors of our battle cry?

When a friend of mine asked his leadership the same question, he was told, “The Jack is too closely associated with radical groups.” We must assume that this thought policeman embedded in the SEAL community is speaking of the Tea Party, whose flag (which also dates from the American Revolution) depicts a snake with the same defiant slogan as The Navy Jack.

This begs yet another question: Who defines “radical group”? The last time I checked, all military personnel are under oath to “support and defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” The Tea Party stands for constitutional rights and founding principles of civil liberties and limited government. Radical? Not unless you’re a leftist hell-bent on destroying the foundations of our country. Or as the President has stated as the objective of his presidency, “to fundamentally transform” America.

My friends asked me what they should do about this order. I answer them by saying, “You took an oath to defend this country from enemies foreign and domestic. Will you put your career before country? Will you put your career before your sacred oath?” I cannot tell anyone how to respond. I can tell you though that an enemy — foreign or domestic — that tries to take the Navy Jack from my uniform could only do so by ripping the patriotic patch from the uniform of my cold, dead body.

We all have choices to make. The Obama administration and the yes-men top brass have decided to wage war on our Navy’s heritage. Will the SEALs choose to defend that heritage and defy them, with all the impertinence the flag’s slogan implies? Or will they be tread upon?

We are moving into a very dangerous time in American history. You can now be considered a “potential terrorist” just because of your religious or political beliefs. Free speech is becoming a thing of the past, and we are rapidly becoming an Orwellian society that is the exact opposite of what our founding fathers intended.

Please pray for the United States of America. We definitely need it.

    For the ease of anyone in the NSA or Homeland Security in collecting info on my views;

    I'm numbers 3,5,6, 8, 10 thru 12, 14, 22 thru 25, 30, 32, 33, 36, 41,44,48, 49, 51 thru 53, 55, 56, 58, 60, 61, 63, 65, 66, 67, and 71.
