I don’t know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally, made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

Thumbs down Re: Charlie Daniels on mexicans

I heard an NPR reporter ask something to one of the illegal immigrants who said in broken English, "we will win". It didn't really help their cause to have this person talking to reporters showing that they don't even know our language!

Charlie Daniels is correct about many things in his article but especially about the politicians being unwilling to do anything about it. We the people are going to have to take care of this issue and I think when we finish with that we need to clean house in D.C. Time for new servants up on the hill.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
