    Phil,
All avatar options are returned to normal. You should not have any problem now.

Well, I tried uploading and also linking external. No good. Says I cannot upload animated images for both types of settings, upload or linking.

I always just use Photobucket as a hosting site. They're free and fairly generous with bandwidth.

If you post a link to your picture though I'll put it in your profile while Ryan tracks down the avatar problems.

Okay, I think I found it.

The updated software allows for the admins to distinguish between animated and non-animated avatars and profile pictures and, place restrictions on them separately. For "Registered Users" it was set to disallow any animated pictures but allow regular pictures.

I've changed the settings to allow for animated pictures. Hopefully that will take care of it.

Yep. It took care of it. Thanks!

I had created a larger eye than my one I use on anomalies, but the issue had been about animated images.

I dunno though. Seems a tad large. Maybe I ought to do it smaller with a clearer definition.

Well, I made it smaller with clearer definition as I figured it would be closer to what I really wanted to begin with. It's funny you should call it disturbing Brian, for I do, say and create a lot that people say similar things about. To me it's not disturbing as it has meaning for me that I do not disclose.

A recent thing I purchased as a gift and was abotu 50/50 called creepy vs interesting was a gift for a friend and his wife who just had a baby. The gift was a Womb Bear. It has a recorded 'sounds of the womb' heartbeat with adjustable volume. The idea being that it would comfort a newborn. To me that was pretty cool. To some others it was creepy.

Womb Bear sound box only... Now even I find this one creepy to a degree.

Wow! Rick. What a great picture of you. You're manly teddy bear sized now. Looking good there, buddy. I thought you said you were getting old. No way.

    Sending you a hug.

    Thanks Aplomb

Hey, I left the one in the red jacket on as my Profile picture. That was taken of me in Ireland somewhere near the Ring of Kerry.

Check out my new, and hopefully FINAL avatar image. I thought I'd give Ryan a little run for his money on "avatar images with guns"

    Hugs babe.

I was seeing this as a blink rather than a wink, but that works too.

LOL. Thought you might get a kick out of that one. That's really me. I'm really holding one of my toys. A couple of buddies and I went to the woods sometime last year to do some shooting. The actual picture is all three of us with weapons posing. I just didn't want to put them in the image without permission (obviously) and besides, I don't want folks knowing who THEY are
