Default North Korea vet held as POW

I didn't see it posted anywhere, but it pisses me off that an 85 year old American can be pulled off an airline and held against his will by RNK asswipes. I suppose I have too much empathy as this man reminds me of my Dad. I realize we only have cease fire in the hostilities with the RNK, but I would think there would be something that could be done "diplomaticly"

I recall a conversation with Dad about his yeaning to return to Korea before he passed. Personally, I would have no interest to visit a place where those events transpired, but never being in combat I can have no valid opinion. I suppose it was his way of coping with his PTSD issues caused by the Battle of the Cho Sin Reservoir.

I recall vividly how upset Dad became over the USS Pueblo incident.

I guess it boils down to is who am I more pissed at, the RPNK, or the US State Department for allowing this to happen?

It is posted in the Heroes thread (I posted several articles, but this needs it's own thread anyway).

Just saw that the fella has been "deported" to Bejing. Should be reunited with his family by Monday. Still think someone in North Korea should be kicked in the nuts for good measure.
