    The Uber Cultural Defense: Driver Reportedly Insists That Woman “Asked For” Groping Due To Her Dress

    Uber taxi driver Ramy Botros has a curious defense after he allegedly put his hand down the shirt of a 25-year-old female customer: she was asking for it and in Egypt such assaults are considered justified for women wearing such outfits. This of course was in Orlando, but that did not seem to matter in this rather curious use of the cultural defense, something that I have discussed earlier.
    The woman said that she noticed that the man was driving in an odd pattern and back tracking while telling her how attractive and pretty she was. He then allegedly stopped his Honda Civic and started groping her breasts.
    Botros, an Egyptian immigrant, reportedly dismissed her objections and said that the fondling was harmless. She later picked him out of a photo lineup. Police say that Botros said that it was not his fault because she was “wearing a revealing shirt with no bra” and that, in Egypt, if a “girl like her . . . means she asking for that.”
    Botros was only charged with a misdemeanor and released on a $500 bond. However, Uber has suspended his driver’s account. It appears that the company does not subscribe to the same cultural defense theory.

    While many are wringing their hands regarding the rise of an increased number of extreme Muslims here in the United States, it was our own government that was promoting the propaganda machine Al Jazerra right into our homes. Let us not let Hillary Clinton off the hook in promoting the cable network, and of course Al Gore who sold his network to them. Yes, our prisons are supposed to be breeding grounds for radicalizing individuals in this faith. But no one is holding our government accountable. After the new update, I will take a walk down memory lane with links to a couple of old posts including a clip of Hillary.

    An Al Jazeera TV host, writing in the Qatari media, has called the Western coalition campaign against Islamic State a “new crusade,” reminiscent of the one that toppled Saddam Hussein in 2003.
    The Al-Watan newspaper ran an op-ed on Sunday by Al Jazeera host Ahmed Mansour, who said that the Western media coverage on late has focused on “their industry” of making enemies, namely the Islamic State.
    This is being done just as it was in the past regarding al-Qaida, the Taliban, Saddam Hussein, and Osama bin Laden, he said.
    Mansour accused the “extreme Right” in Britain of “corresponding” to the Islamic State in terms of extremism.
    And just as US president George W. Bush referred to the war on terror as a “crusade,” it is clear now that “the story is not the Islamic State, but the real story is what is happening is a new crusade dressed in new clothing,” he wrote.
    This article follows the Qatari position that supports Islamist movements throughout the region, including those in Syria seeking to topple President Bashar Assad.

    Every good organizer knows that control of the media is paramount. The good news is that Egypt has had enough of Al-Jazeera.
    In the U.S., Soledad O’Brien and other journalists have flocked to Al Jazeera, but in the Middle East, the network for the past week has been facing a major challenge to its credibility including mass staff resignations, a raid of one of its offices, its reporters kicked out of a news conference by fellow journalists, and the arrest of some of its staffers by Egyptian security forces.
    The dramatic developments are the result of widespread perceptions in Egypt and in the Arab world that Al Jazeera has shown a pro-Muslim Brotherhood slant in its reporting.
    Recall Obama urges Cable Companies to Carry Al-Jazeera? even though there is no question that they support the Muslim Brotherhood? That they are anti-American? Anti-Israel?
    AJE’s battle with the cable carriers is major news in the Middle East. Not carrying the network sends a message to the Arab world about America’s unwillingness to accept information, unfiltered, from the very region we spend so much time talking about.
    Al-Awalaki Praises Al-Jazeera, Wikileaks and Media Jihad not enough yet?
    In his latest message to the Muslim world, Al-Awlaki defends the journalists of one such “trustworthy” Muslim source, Al-Jazeera, and praises the Western media source WikiLeaks.
    How about our gal Hillary… she really is getting old.
    “Like it or hate it, it is really effective,” Clinton said. “In fact, viewership of Al-Jazeera is going up in the United States because it is real news. You may not agree with it, but you feel like you’re getting real news around the clock instead of a million commercials and, you know, arguments between talking heads and the kind of stuff that we do on our news that is not providing information to us, let alone foreigners.”

    Syria’s al Qaeda branch says West will be attacked in retaliation for U.S.-led air strikes

    BEIRUT/MURSITPINAR Turkey (Reuters) – The head of Syria’s al Qaeda branch said militants will attack the West in retaliation for U.S.-led air strikes in Syria and Iraq, and President Barack Obama acknowledged U.S. intelligence had underestimated the rise of Islamic State fighters.

    U.S.-led air strikes hit a natural gas plant controlled by Islamic State fighters in eastern Syria, a monitoring body reported, part of an apparent campaign to disrupt one of the fighters’ main sources of income.

    The monitoring group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said planes also struck a grain silo in northern Syria killing civilians. This could not be immediately confirmed.

    U.S.-led strikes have so far failed to halt an advance by fighters in northern Syria on a Kurdish town: fighting raged between Islamic State militants and Kurdish forces near Kobani on the border with Turkey, where the past week’s battle caused the fastest refugee flight of Syria’s three-year civil war. Turkey returned fire after shells hit its side of the frontier.

    The United States has been bombing Islamic State and other groups in Syria for nearly a week with the help of Arab allies, and hitting targets in neighboring Iraq since last month.

    European countries have joined the campaign in Iraq, where the government has asked for help, but so far not in Syria.

    Islamic State, a Sunni militant group which broke off from al Qaeda, alarmed the West and the Middle East by sweeping through northern Iraq in June, slaughtering prisoners and ordering Shi’ites and non-Muslims to convert or die.

    It is battling Shi’ite backed governments in both Iraq and Syria, as well as other Sunni groups in Syria and Kurdish groups in both countries, part of complex multi-sided civil wars in which nearly every country in the Middle East has a stake.

    The head of Syria’s al Qaeda branch, the Nusra Front, a Sunni militant group which is a rival of Islamic State and has also been targeted by U.S. strikes, said Islamists would carry out attacks on the West in retaliation for the campaign.

    “Muslims will not watch while their sons are bombed. Your leaders will not be the only ones who would pay the price of the war. You will pay the heaviest price,” Abu Mohamad al-Golani said in an audio message posted on pro-Nusra forums.

    The U.S. strikes have created pressure on Nusra to reconcile with Islamic State, a move that would potentially create a single Sunni Islamist force in Syria and widen territory under its control.

    Obama has worked since August to build an international coalition to combat the fighters, describing them last week in an address to the United Nations as a “network of death”.

    His acknowledgment in an interview broadcast on Sunday that U.S. intelligence had underestimated Islamic State offered an explanation for why Washington appeared to have been taken by surprise when the fighters surged through northern Iraq in June.

    The militants had gone underground when U.S. forces quashed al Qaeda in Iraq with the aid of local tribes during the U.S. war there which ended in 2011, Obama told CBS’s “60 Minutes”.

    “But over the past couple of years, during the chaos of the Syrian civil war, where essentially you have huge swathes of the country that are completely ungoverned, they were able to reconstitute themselves and take advantage of that chaos.”

    Some of the U.S. president’s opponents at home have seized on a remark he made in January using a sports metaphor to dismiss Sunni militants in Iraq and Syria, comparing them to a low-level school basketball team posing as professionals.

    “If a JV (junior varsity) team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant,” Obama told the New Yorker magazine in January.

    BATTLE ON BORDER

    Islamic State’s advance has not been halted in Syria, where it is fighting Kurdish forces near the border city of Kobani, where 140,000 refugees fled a week ago.

    Gunfire rang out from across the border and a plume of smoke rose over Kobani as periodic shelling by Islamic State fighters continued. Kurds watching the fighting from the Turkish side of the border said the Syrian Kurdish group, the YPG, were putting up a strong defense.

    “Many Islamic State fighters have been killed. They’re not taking the bodies with them,” said Ayhan, a Turkish Kurd who had spoken by phone with one of his friends fighting with the YPG. He said Kurdish forces had picked up 8 Islamic State bodies.

    At Mursitpinar, the nearby border crossing, scores of young men were returning to Syria, many saying they would join the fight. Other returning refugees hoped fighting would soon end.

    “If there’s no fighting we’ll stay, but if the fighting starts in Kobani we’ll come back. Of course we’re afraid,” said one man, Khalil, crossing with his young daughter.

    Turkey has not permitted its own Kurds to cross to join the battle: “If they’ve got Syrian identity or passports, they can go. But only Syrians, not Turks,” said one Turkish official at the border where security has been tightened.

    The Turkish general staff said on its website two mortar shells fired from Syria had strayed across the border on Sunday afternoon. The Turkish military “responded with fire in line with its rules of engagement”.

    A NATO ally with the most powerful army in the area, Turkey has so far kept out of the U.S.-led coalition, angering many of its own Kurds who say the policy has abandoned their cousins in Syria to the wrath of Islamic State fighters.

    OBAMA STILL SEEKS DOWNFALL OF ASSAD

    The U.S.-led coalition includes Sunni Arab states who oppose Syria’s Assad, but does not include Assad or his main ally Iran, even though Islamic State’s sway in Syria grew from the revolt against Assad’s government .

    Obama, who nearly ordered air strikes against Assad’s government a year ago only to cancel them at the last minute, said he recognised the apparent contradiction in opposing Assad while bombing his enemies. He still wants Assad to leave power, but considers Islamic State the more urgent threat.

    “For Syria to remain unified, it is not possible that Assad presides over that entire process,” he said in his interview.

    “On the other hand, in terms of immediate threats to the United States, ISIL, Khorasan group, those folks could kill Americans,” he said, using an acronym for Islamic State and the name of a separate cell of al Qaeda figures targeted last week.

    Saudi Arabia, the regional Sunni power which has joined the U.S.-led strikes, blamed other countries for supporting Islamic State, although it did not name them. Riyadh has in the past criticised Qatar for supporting Islamist movements.

    Islamic State was formed not in a “haphazard fashion but under the auspices of states and organisations with all their capabilities and bad intentions,” Saudi Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef said. “We will firmly face this organization and others.”

    The Syrian Observatory, which monitors the conflict with a network of sources on the ground, said U.S.-led strikes had hit a Conoco gas plant controlled by Islamic State outside Deir al-Zor city in eastern Syria, wounding several fighters.

    The plant feeds a power station in Homs that provides several provinces with electricity and powers oilfield generators, the Observatory said.

    The observatory also said warplanes had hit mills and grain storage areas in the northern Syrian town of Manbij, killing civilian workers. It was not immediately possible to verify the information and there was no immediate comment from Washington.

    U.S.-led warplanes also hit areas of Hasaka city in Syria’s north east and the outskirts of Raqqa city in the north, which is Islamic State’s stronghold. Syria’s state news agency also said U.S.-led forces had carried out strikes in Raqqa province.

    Some of Assad’s opponents worry that the U.S.-led bombing will help the Syrian leader stay in power by hurting his most powerful Sunni foes. Syria’s military has intensified its own bombing campaign in the country’s west, even as Washington has struck in the east. Overnight, Damascus carried out air raids in Aleppo province and in Hama, the Observatory said.

    Poor Barack! It seems he’s getting tired of folks using ISIS/ISIL and Islam in the same sentence. Sort of like the media getting tired of using Obama and president in the same sentence. You can cover someone’s screw-ups for only so long without getting frustrated.

    Showing his Muslim stripes, Obama threw a hissy fit and stomped out of a Pentagon meeting about the bombing campaign against ISIS over remarks allegedly tying the Islamic State (ISIS) to Islam.
    UMB (h/t Free) His tantrum reportedly took place in the afternoon of last week just prior to the president’s departure to Camp David. It was an informal briefing on the expanded bombing campaigns to take place in both Syria and Iraq. Halfway through the already very brief briefing, President Obama stood up clearly agitated, and walked out of the room.

    The casually dressed Obama returned to the briefing moments later with a senior adviser alongside him, though his mood continued to indicate he was still very upset.


    The senior adviser made a couple pointed remarks to the Pentagon representatives, reminded them the president had already had a very busy day, and then both she and the president once again left the room.

    Within seconds, Barack Obama returned again to the just concluded briefing, pointing at the still seated Pentagon staff and indicating how “inappropriate” it was to “try and paint all of Islam with the same brush.” The president repeated similar remarks, his mood going from agitation to outrage. His voice carried to several other West Wing offices.

    Qatar: A backer of international jihad terror from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria and Iraq

    In light of the wars and violent turbulence that currently engulf the Middle East and parts of Africa, a coalition of concerned citizens, journalists, and activists are launching a campaign to expose a most infamous and pernicious sponsor of Islamic terror: the Gulf state of Qatar.
    Qatar, (pronounced “cutter,” or “gutter”), is, per capita, the richest country in the world ($93,352 in 2013). This is partly due to the fact that they control the third largest natural gas reserves in the world, the North Dome field in the Persian Gulf. It is also because Qatar has a mere 278,000 citizens, with a total population of 2.05 million; the remaining people in Qatar are a mix of well-paid ex-pats from countries such as the United States and Great Britain, and a substantial slave labor population.
    A backer of international terror from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria and Iraq, the Qatari ruling family, the al-Thanis, exploit Islamic jihadi groups and their ties to illicit smuggling.
    What is being smuggled? Mostly narcotics and people – slaves.
    Unfortunately, the United States is integrated into the Qatari “economy” as much as any other developed nation. Doha, Qatar’s capital, is home to two of the largest American military bases in the entire world, as well as familiar companies like ExxonMobil, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin. Doha also hosts a number of campuses for prestigious American universities, such as Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, and Cornell. Other companies and organizations, ranging from the film production company Miramax to financial behemoths like Bank of America, have accepted significant amounts of investment by the al-Thanis.
    Hamas, a Qatari client, launched a war against Israel this summer. There is an ongoing genocide across Iraq and Syria, with mass graves and grisly beheadings of Christians and Shiite Muslims. Boko Haram continues to rampage across Nigeria, threatening the political stability of Africa’s largest economy and population. Qatari fingerprints are on each of crises.
    Over the course of the next month, companies, organizations, and individuals with significant investments and activities with and in Qatar will be identified and contacted with the reality of their host country. These letters, once published, will be sent to press outlets around the world.
    We call on the parties identified in this campaign to review the evidence, which is all credibly sourced and vetted. In light of the terror, slavery, genocide, and narcotics trafficking, we urge the parties to demand that Qatar immediately cease any and all involvement in these activities.

    (Please note that in the body of my piece I deliberately do NOT capitalize islam, muslims, mohammad, or the qur’an in this paper as I believe to capitalize those words gives credence to them, and I give NO credence to islam, muslims, mohammad, or the qur’an.)




    Our Constitution allows for freedom of religion. Along with that come all the modern perks including tax exemption and other special privileges. If it can be proven that islam does NOT qualify as a religion according to our laws, then islam will lose its religious designation, it’s very wanted but misguided protection under the guise of our First Amendment along with its tax exempt status, and thus its foothold in America. With that said, what I will try to do here is present a feasible argument that the special rights and privileges afforded islam were given in error and hopefully will be reversed, thus helping to save our Judeo-Christian nation from the islamization being forced on us by the Obama administration.First, it must be stated how religion, in a theological sense, is defined in America. Simply, it is a belief in, and reverence for, a singular, supernatural power (or being) who is both creator and ruler of the universe and one who controls man’s destiny; what we commonly refer to as God. (Deuteronomy 6:4: ‘…Hear Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one.). Religion in America is based upon a set of beliefs, values, morals, ideals, and practices following the teachings of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Abrahamic God of the Jews; in other words a living, loving God (1 John chapter 4 verse 8 ‘He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love’) put forth as God’s word in The Holy Bible.(2 Timothy 3:16: ‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God’.) America was founded upon the holiness and supremacy of this God, thus at its inception America became a Judeo-Christian society; as in ‘One nation under God’, because of these very beliefs, values, morals, and ideals.Legal definitions of religion usually appear in the complicated contexts of either protecting freedom of religion, or prohibiting discrimination or persecution of religion.

    Legal definitions do not describe the nature of religion, they establish rules for regulating social and legal relations among people who themselves may have sharply different attitudes about what religion is, and what parts of it are entitled to protection. Legal definitions, therefore, may contain serious inefficiencies when they include particular social and cultural attitudes towards ‘accepted’ religions, or when they fail to account for social and cultural attitudes against ‘not accepted’ religions. However, legally, The Supreme Court has interpreted religion to mean a sincere and meaningful belief that occupies in the life of its possessor a place parallel to the place held by God in the lives of other persons. The religion or religious concept need not include a belief in the existence of God or a supreme being to be within the scope of the First Amendment. The Supreme Court has deliberately avoided establishing an exact definition of religion because freedom of religion is a guarantee that was written in such a manner as to ensure adaptability as the United States grew. As a result, religion is not limited to traditional denominations, and this is where islam falls for it is anything but traditional.


    The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

    The first part of this provision is known as the Establishment Clause, and the second part is known as the Free Exercise Clause. Although the First Amendment only refers to Congress NOT to individuals or groups, The U.S. Supreme Court has held that the Fourteenth Amendment (this amendment was first introduced to secure the rights of former slaves but has since been expanded to include other groups such as senior citizens, women, children, and people with disabilities and is the center of Equality in America) makes the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses also binding on states (Cantwell v. Connecticut, 310 U.S. 296, 60 S. Ct. 900, 84 L. Ed. 1213 [1940], and Everson v. Board of Education, 330 U.S. 1, 67 S. Ct. 504, 91 L. Ed. 711 [1947], respectively). This is extremely important because each state issues tax exemptions also.


    However and here is where the problem lies, some define religion as an individual or group conviction, a belief tied in with societal and cultural traditions, along with man’s impact on them. But this definition of religion is wrong, for this in actuality is the definition of a ‘cult.’ A cult’s followers and members swear an allegiance to and/or worship in total submission to an unknown deity, or to a made-up god-like figure invented to further someone’s personal ambitions (as was the case with mohammad), and add the fact that the word ‘cult’ often suggests extreme beliefs and bizarre behavior, and you have just described islam to a tee. It’s extremely important to note that one of the main things separating a true religion from a cult is that NO true religion instructs its followers to kill in God’s name, but many a cult instructs its followers to kill in the name of their leader. Such is the case with the cult known as islam.


    When a muslim declares that islam is a religion of peace, he is either ignorant of the qur’an or is deceitfully (taqiyya) thinking of this ‘peace’ as it applies only to those within the muslim community. (According to the qur’an Surah 48:29: “Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are merciful to one another, but ruthless to unbelievers.” Surah 9:5: “Kill the Mushrikun (unbelievers) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush…” Also see Surah 9:29: PICKTHAL: “Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture (Christians & Jews) as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.”) Remember, there is NOT a single verse in the Old or New Testaments that contains this command to kill unbelievers.


    It must also be noted that religion does NOT suppress or stop free speech and dissent, but cults do. Again, such is the case with islam. If islam really holds the ‘Ultimate Truth’(Koran 4:82: Do they not consider the Qur’an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.) and ‘Final Revelation’ as it claims (islam teaches that the qur’an is the final revelation from God), then islam should not fear challenge, questioning, or free speech. islam’s leaders should be able to defend islam with only words, because its appeal should be evident to everyone.


    Therefore, people should want to come to islam willingly and without fear of violence. If some choose to leave this so-called faith, then they should be allowed to leave without persecution or worse…..death. But that is not the case. (Hadith Al Buhkari vol. 9:57: ’Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him.’) This command from the Hadith is practiced in almost all Islamic countries today, and just reeks of being a cult NOT a religion.


    It must always be remembered that islam came into existence thousands of years after the birth of Judaism, and 600 hundred years after the birth of Christianity. Was islam the answer to those who doubted the living, loving God as set down in the Old and New Testaments? Was islam the antidote to the harsh instructions and rules that both Judaism and Christianity demanded of its followers? Or was islam nothing more than the mad rantings of a Bedouin sheepherder who had visions of grandeur and immortality and thus NOT a religion at all? I believe it is the later, and I will explain why.


    islam literally means submission. And herein lays a very crucial deviation from what religion is supposed to commutate. True religion worships a living, loving God and allows for the free will of man, (Deuteronomy 30:19: ‘I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.’), (Joshua 24:15: ‘And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.’), (Proverbs 3:3: ‘Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.’) however, islam by its very name does not. Tawhid, the oneness of allah, is an essential belief for all muslims. Without the free will to either follow Tawhid or leave the so-called religion of islam, islam becomes nothing more than a cult where one must follow blindly or pay severe consequences. (Qur’an 8:12: ‘I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and his Apostle’).



    Remember, anyone can join islam, but the only way one can ever really leave islam is by death NOT by one’s free will to do so. (Sura 5:33, commands mutilation and crucifixion for striving against Allah and Muhammad)



    muslims erroneously claim their religion to be the oldest and the only truth, and that all human beings are born muslim, but practice religion according to their upbringing.(Sahih Muslim, Book 033, Number 6426: mohammad said “No baby is born but upon Fitra (as a Muslim). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Polytheist.”) Because islam means complete submission to the one and only ‘true god’ allah, muslims believe that anyone who is truly submitting himself to god (allah), according to what has been revealed from god (allah) and not simply according to his own whims, is a muslim. muslims believe that islam is the religion of all Prophets, Adam to muhammad, and that children are not born out of any sin, original, inherited or derived, so therefore, they are born of the religion of their nature…islam. muslims claim all people eventually revert back to islam and, therefore, are not converted to it, so if one does not follow islam and abide by its rules during their lifetime, then they must be killed. A simple premise yes, but one upon which muslims use to justify jihad upon non-believers (Qur’an 8:39: ‘Fight them until all opposition ends and all submit to Allah’), and lends more credence to the fact that islam is a cult NOT a religion of peace, as all religions are supposed to be.


    The qur’an asserts that the god of islam is the God of Christians and Jews. (Sura 29:46: “Do not argue with the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians, & Muslims) except in the nicest possible manner—unless they transgress— and say, “We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters.”) Nothing could be farther from the truth. About 578 years before islam began, Christians were warned against islam by both Jesus and the Apostle Paul. In Matthew 16:11-12 Jesus warned about many false prophets who would follow Him.


    Paul also warned of this when he wrote in Galatians 1:8: “But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach a Gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell!” muslims claim, without providing proof positive, that Christians and Jews have corrupted the Scriptures, and teach that everyone must instead accept the teachings of the qur’an. However, the Christian Bible predates muhammad and islam by more than 575 years and the Jewish Torah predates muhammad and islam by 1,000 – 3,000 years. muhammad said for muslims to read the Bible for ‘Guidance and Light’ (Surah 29:46 Muslims are told by Allah, not to question the authority of the scriptures of the Christians, saying, “And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, but say, “We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one”), so for islam to say that the Bible is corrupted, is to call muhammad a liar for recommending it, therefore taqiyya is being practiced here also.


    In addition, islam teaches that only muslims will be admitted to Paradise or what we refer to as Heaven (Sura 5:72: Unbelievers are those that say: “God is the Messiah, the son of Mary.” For the Messiah himself said: “Children of Israel, serve God, my Lord and your Lord. “He that worships other gods besides God, God will deny him Paradise, and the fire shall be his home. None shall help the evil-doers*.), even though Jews and Christians are considered ‘People of the Book’ (5:68 AYA).


    And when compared with the Jewish and Christian scriptures, islam teaches that ‘Unbelievers’ are those that say that allah is not the true and only god (Sura, 14:9: Has not the news reached you, of those before you, the people of Nuh (Noah), and ‘Ad, and Thamud? And those after them? None knows them but Allah. To them came their Messengers with clear proofs, but they put their hands in their mouths (biting them from anger) and said: “Verily, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and we are really in grave doubt as to that to which you invite us.” [islamic monotheism]), thus proving that allah is NOT the same god worshiped by Jews and Christians because allah is strictly a vengeful god, while the God of the Bible is a living, loving, and forgiving God (2 Corinthians 6:16: As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”) The bears out the premise that the true God strives to be one with man, while the false god allah wants all men enslaved to him. NOT the premise of a religion…most definitely the premise of a cult.


    muslims claim the qur’an is the verbatim word of God, and that muhammad is the last prophet of God (Quran, 33:40: ‘Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the Seal of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things’ and is also stated in the first of the Five Pillars of islam: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Mohammed is His messenger’), and according to mohammad himself the first muslim, (Al-An’am, 6:162,163: “Say (O Muhammad): ‘Verily, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allâh alone, the Lord of all that exists. He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.’”) They also believe in the authority of the sunnah—the examples and teachings of mohammad (Yusuf 12:108 : “Say (O Muhammad) : ‘This my way; I invite unto Allâh …”). Add to that their belief in the hadith, the record of the prophet’s actions and statements relating to life, personal conduct, morals and manners, and you have one vile contradiction to the definition of a religion. muslims believe their sole purpose in life is to worship allah that nothing else matters (qur’an 51:56: “I have only created jinns and men, that they may serve Me.”), while Jews and Christians believe in the sanctity and purpose of life while at the same time serving the living God’s will (Job 19:25: ‘I know that my Redeemer lives’).



    Again, the free will to serve or not serve is laid upon the believer in a true religion but is demanded of people in the cult known as islam (qur’an 2:155-156e: “Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits, but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere—who say when afflicted with calamity: ‘To ALLAH we belong, and to Him is our return.’ “). And remember, the living, loving God wants man to be happy in this life (Ps37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord; 1Thesilonians 5:16 Rejoice always; Jm1:3: Consider it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials…), NOT to be a blind following, unquestioning servant.
    And here is another premise allowed for in a religion but NOT in a cult, that is the right to question. True religions allow for questions, a cult does not. The punishment for questioning in the cult of islam is death, there is NO punishment for questions in the religions of Judaism or Christianity, in fact, questioning is encouraged for through questions comes understanding and acceptance, something NO cult, especially the cult of islam, accepts or allows.


    muslims also mistakenly believe that islam is the only true version of faith (Qur’an,112: ‘In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone’.), and that it was revealed many times before there was an actual islam, including to Abraham, Moses and Jesus (whom muslims do consider prophets, however, Jesus is NOT recognized as the Son of God nor is the Trilogy given any credence), but was not heeded by those men (qur’an 4:171: O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, “Trinity.” You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.).


    muslims say that past revelations, as for example those in the Holy Bible, have been changed, corrupted, or compromised, thus their belief that the qur’an is the unaltered, untouched, and final revelation of God, (allah promises in the qur’an, in Surah Al Hijr, chapter 15 verse 9: “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption) something we know not to be the case. To them The Holy Bible is nothing more than a fairy tale.


    The qur’an teaches that islam is the continued faithful religion in the same line as the Prophets who were before muhammad (42:13 AYA: the same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah … and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus). The result of this view is that the scriptures given by these prophets are considered to be genuine scriptures from God (29:46 AYA: ‘We (Muslims) believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you (Jews & Christians); our Allah and your Allah is One’.), and that allah and our Lord are the same but we know this to not be the case, because muslims believe the qur’an is the word of their god allah, when in reality The Holy Bible is the word of God.


    While the hadith acts as a supplement to the qur’an, it still demands that sharia be followed. Sharia literally means ‘way’ or ‘path’ and is the code of conduct and religious law of islam. Most muslims believe sharia is derived from two primary sources of islamic law: the precepts set forth in the Quran, and the example set by the Islamic prophet muhammad in the sunnah. Sharia deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics, and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexual intercourse, hygiene, diet, prayer, and fasting. Sharia is applied by Islamic judges, or qadis. The imam has varying responsibilities depending on the interpretation of sharia. While the term is commonly used to refer to the leader of communal prayers, the imam may also be a scholar, religious leader, or political leader. And herein is the sticking point. Because the imam is both a spiritual and political leader, and because sharia is applied by islamic judges, sharia itself becomes a political system instituted as the definitive way of existence touching upon virtually every aspect of daily life and society. Since sharia is indeed a political system then islam, what sharia is part of, therefore becomes a political system, as well as being a cult.


    While sharia may have been inspired by the qur’an, it has developed and evolved through the efforts of mortal men. Sharia wraps its tentacles around every fiber of its followers being until life’s choices we take for granted are forbidden to islam’s followers. This is something a true religion does not do. While the ‘Golden Rule’ (Matthew 7:12: ‘Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them’.), or some derivative of said Rule, might be the hoped for basis for daily living, it is NOT demanded of a true religion’s followers, because of free will to either follow or not follow its tenets. Yet, islam demands sharia law be followed with NO exceptions. Sharia law denies the right of muslims to leave and thusly, is in contravention of one of the most fundamental principles of human rights (free will to leave a group of one’s own volition). But on the other hand, one of the reasons for the growth of islam has been that becoming a muslim is a one-way street. Whether by birth or conversion (likely to have been a forced conversion) once you are a muslim the only way out, under sharia law, is death.


    Another example of sharia is shown in how muslim men are instructed to practice the total subjugation of women, who are viewed as property and in reality as slaves, to be disposed of at will at the whim of their husbands. They are, for all intents and purposes, actually lord and master over both their wives and their children, with the authority to actually take their lives if they feel the need to do so under the guise of ‘honor killings,’ something a true religion would never allow nor condone.


    Also used *********by the followers of islam is the practice known as taqiyya, which is basically the obligation to lie and cheat if it promotes the spread of islam. The word ‘taqiyya’ means to protect against or conceal. Taqiyya is the islamic justification for lying and deceiving. (qur’an 66:2: “Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths”) Taqiyya is drawn explicitly from the words of muhammad, and from the examples he and his successors set. muslims are actually instructed and encouraged to lie, and told to lie to all non-believers just to spread islam. (qur’an 16:106 – establishes that there are circumstances that can “compel” a muslim to tell a lie.) Due to this fact alone, islam removes all integrity from its followers. Once again, this is a tactic used by a cult to obtain blind, unquestioning followers NOT by a religion trying to secure followers to the way of the living, loving God.


    In addition to taqiyyqa, ‘kitman,’ known as lying by omission, is also allowed and encouraged. An example would be when muslims quote only a fragment of a verse (qur’an 5:32: that if anyone kills “it shall be as if he had killed all mankind”) while neglecting to mention that the rest of the verse, (and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty), but afterwards lo! Many of them become prodigals of the earth.”) and those that come after (qur’an 5:36: “As for those who disbelieve, lo! If all that is in the earth were theirs, and as much again therewith, to ransom them from the doom on the Day of the Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. Theirs will be a painful doom.”) mandate murder in undefined cases of ‘corruption’ and ‘mischief.’ Again, lying by omission is another tactic used by cults to gain followers by concealing the whole truth of what they are or do.


    To understand the true nature of the cult of islam you have to understand the beginnings of islam and hopefully this will show why islam is NOT a religion. muslims believe that in the beginning their god (or allah as muslims call him, which comes from the Arabic word ‘elah’ meaning ‘a god’ or something that is worshipped) sent prophets to all nations to tell the people to worship Him and Him alone. Abraham called upon his people to reject the worship of idols. muslims claim their god called Abraham and his people to islam, but the people rejected islam, becoming the Children of Israel (Jews) instead. God put Abraham through many tests, and he passed all of them. For his many sacrifices, God proclaimed that he would raise from amongst his progeny a great nation. Whenever people from his progeny started to stray away from the Truth, which was to worship none but their god alone and to obey His commandments, their god sent them another prophet steering them back to his will.


    Many prophets were sent amongst the progeny of Abraham, for example his two sons Isaac and Ishmael, along with Jacob, Joseph, David, Solomon, Moses, and of course, Jesus. Each prophet was sent to the Children of Israel (the Jews) when they went astray from the true religion of the god (allah), and it became obligatory for them to follow the messenger who was sent to them and to obey their commandments. All of the messengers came with the same message, to reject worship of all other beings except the god (allah) Alone and to obey His commandments. Some disbelieved the prophets, while others believed. Those that believed the prophets became followers of islam and allah, henceforth to be known as muslims. This goes against everything Jews and Christians believe in.


    The made-up concept of allah is really just a bastardized version of the pagan moon god, Hubal, and as such the word ‘allah’ is simply a title. It means ‘the god’. It can be any god, and since muslims claim allah is the same as Yahweh (one of the Hebrew names for God), why is there no mention of allah in the Old or the New Testaments? It is ridiculous to believe that the biblical prophets were muslims and believed in allah, yet that is what muslims believe. When the Arabic Bible mentions allah it is referring to al lah Yahweh but when the qur’an talks about allah, it is referring to al lah Hubal. While Christians and Jews are mentioned in the qur’an as the custodians of scripture, they are believed by muslims to be the custodians of the qur’an’s scripture NOT the scripture of The Holy Bible, because muslims do NOT believe The Holy Bible to be the word of God(5:47 AYA/44 MP: ‘For to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book). islam teaches that their god (allah) gave the scripture to the Jews and Christians so that they could make known to the whole world the true knowledge of their god, being allah, not the living, loving God the Jews and Christians believed in. And remember allah took a Covenant from the ‘People of the Book’ (an islamic reference to Jews and Christians), to make the qur’an known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it (3:187 AYA). muslims also believe the unbelieving behavior of so-called unfaithful is to conceal the truth of the qur’an’s scripture (2:140 AYA: ‘Who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah?’).


    Simply, the Bible (from the Greek: Biblos meaning ‘books’) was given by God to man. The Bible writers were inspired by God in their writings. Thus Christians refer to the Bible as the ‘Word of God’. (2 Timothy 3:16) The Jewish and Christian religions are based on legitimate, proven historical events of divine intervention and revelations from God. Jews and Christian’s believe The Holy Bible is the word of the living, loving God,(Exodus 34:6: the real God revealed Himself as “merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth”. He is the Creator of the Universe, the God of Love, and Lord of Life. The God of Israel is this true God. He insists “Thou shall not kill the innocent and just”.) while muslims believe the qur’an (Arabic meaning ‘recitation’), revealed to mohammed over a period of about 20 years, to be the final revelation given by allah to mankind.


    In reality, the qur’an is the rantings and writings of a mortal, mad man (mohammed), nothing more, nothing less. The Jewish and Christian religions teach us to peacefully spread God’s word. muhammad taught his followers to murder people who refused to follow him, a characteristic of a cult NOT of a peaceful religion. (Qur’an 9:5 – ‘Fight and kill non-muslims wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every strategem of war.’). Also, only a cult would instruct people to hide the truth about themselves and not spread that truth, because the foundation of a true religion IS to spread the ‘Good News’ to everyone.


    And lastly, The Holy Bible speaks of, ‘A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.’ Jesus Christ, (John 13:34-3). This is truly what the definition of religion is, and that is love (Romans 5:5: Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.) NOT hate, NOT subjugation, NOT blind allegiance, NOT fear of leaving, NOT torture, NOT perversion, NOT murder…for those are the makings of a cult, and those describe islam to a tee.

    Based on the premise that the so-called religion of islam is nothing but a totalitarian political cult, along with being an economic, social, and legal system hiding behind religious garb, it should then NOT be allowed tax exempt status under our laws. Many states, in addition to the federal government, give exemption from taxes for certain recognized organizations, like ‘churches’ (under which falls synagogues and mosques) and charities, but all applying for exemption must serve public purposes, and what purpose can a cult, as I’ve shown islam to be, possibly serve…the answer is NONE!


    To show why mosques, and hence islam, do NOT meet the criteria for tax exemption we must start at the legal beginning, and that is with the fact that many people make the interpretative mistake that the First Amendment grants us individual or group rights. As written, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances,” the First Amendment doesn’t grant any rights to anybody. All the amendment does is prohibit Congress from making laws about religion, speech, the press, or assembly. Therefore, muslims do NOT have a First Amendment ‘right’ to build mosques, proselytize, or implement sharia anywhere in our country; therefore, islam is NOT protected under the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.


    This leads into the actual rules that a religious entity has to obey in order to become a tax exempt entity under our laws, thus gaining a 501-C-3 status. To qualify, the church, synagogue, or mosque, must be in operation for a specific purpose (see below). This is where the problems with mosques come into play, because as of this date our government still deems islam a legitimate religion, which I have proven it is not.


    So, as of now, to qualify for tax-exempt status a mosque must meet the following requirements:

    1. a mosque must be organized and operated exclusively for religious, educational, scientific, or other charitable purposes
    2. net earnings may not inure to the benefit of any private individual or shareholder
    3. no substantial part of the mosque’s activity may be attempting to influence legislation
    4. a mosque may not intervene in political campaigns
    5. a mosque’s purposes and activities may not be illegal or violate fundamental public policy.


    All mosques are in violation of our tax laws, and actually violate the public policy of our country that assures Americans that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Let me go over this point by point. 1. a mosque must be organized and operated exclusively for religious, educational, scientific, or other charitable purposes. muslims, while inside mosques, engage in recruiting terrorists and jihad training within their confines, and none of this is for religious purposes or for charity but is for the singular purpose of killing or hurting those they consider infidels. 2. net earnings may not inure to the benefit of any private individual or shareholder. muslims, while inside mosques, raise monies to bail terrorists out of jail, and to send monies overseas to support recognized terrorist organizations like The Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. 3. no substantial part of the mosque’s activity may be attempting to influence legislation. muslims, while inside mosques, hold meetings to organize, push for, and write papers and such to prepare their case for sharia law to be implemented in this country. 4. a mosque may not intervene in political campaigns. muslims, while inside mosques, actively work for, and campaign for, muslim or pro-muslim leaning candidates so they win their elections and thus can infiltrate our government and influence legislation in their favor, and 5. a mosque’s purposes and activities may not be illegal or violate fundamental public policy. And here in number 5 is the hoped for sticking point, for a mosque to openly speak out, or organize in opposition to anything that our government declares ‘legal,’ that mosque has jeopardized its tax exempt status.


    Once again, American mosques are actively preaching jihad in violation of their tax-exempt status and, a direct violation of public policy guaranteeing our right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’ in our daily lives.


    Here’s an interesting fact that some might not know, there are over 3000 mosques, each granted tax exemption, in American today, and to me there is something inherently wrong with that. Since islam is NOT a religion (it is a cult) how is this being allowed to happen and what are our rights as Americans that the intrusion of islam into our society is not allowing us to have? Our rights come from the living, loving God of The Holy Bible, the book our nation was founded upon, NOT upon the false god allah, and NOT upon the vile book known as the qur’an. And our rights, spelled out in our Declaration of Independence, are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, the very things islam goes against. islam is a cult of oppression and death, instead of a religion of life, as noted in its oppression of women, its condoning of murder and its honor killings for even the most mild of transgressions. The qur’an actually instructs muslims to torture (Sura 4:56: Surely, those who disbelieve in our revelations, we will condemn them to the hellfire. Whenever their skins are burnt, we will give them new skins. Thus, they will suffer continuously. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.), and kill non-believers. islam allows NO liberty for its followers for it is a cult of slavery and submission.


    Women are forced to cover their faces and bodies (qur’an: 24:31: And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary.     Children are often raped and molested, homosexuality is not frowned upon, especially with young boys (Sura LII:24 “And there shall wait on them [the Muslim men] young boys of their own, as fair as virgin pearls.”Sura LXXVI:19: “They shall be attended by boys graced with eternal youth, who will seem like scattered pearls to the beholders.”), and conversion to another religion, if caught, ends in death. Islam allows no happiness because it is an all-consuming way of life that does NOT allow for any individuality or free will at all. You either follow its tenets to the letter, you NEVER question or speak out against islam or you will die. So how can anyone be happy under islam…they can’t.


    So, if islam goes against our inalienable right to ‘Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happines,’ guaranteed to us under our Constitution and Declaration of Independence, if islam goes against what God the Creator has set down for us, how can islam be what our Founding Fathers meant by religion…it can’t be. And if it’s NOT a religion as set down by the writings of our Founders, no matter what The Supreme Court says (remember they must uphold the Constitution), how can it be given religious tax exemption status…it can’t! It really is that simple.

    First it was 1991, then we returned in 2003. Today, it is 2014, and America is again at war in the Middle East–but now it is Syria and not just Iraq.


    Despite decades’ worth of analysis followed by military actions, we are, as a nation, making cardinal mistakes once again. Given how different the enemy we face today is, these mistakes will likely have a strategic impact on the safety of all Americans.


    In 1991, we deployed US forces to the Middle East to eject the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein from the nation of Kuwait, which he had just invaded, and to stop him before he went further and destabilized the whole region.
    In 2003, the Bush Administration decided that, after taking down the Taleban government in Afghanistan–which had harbored Osama bin Laden– and destroying Al Qaeda’s camps, Iraq would be next.


    The reasoning was twofold. Saddam was a brutal dictator and his replacement by a representative government could help stabilize the region. Second, Saddam was in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) which could potentially be used against US targets.


    (Let us not open the issue of what happened to those weapons, given that even the United Nations chronicled Saddam’s use of WMD against Iran and even his own citizens, and also that almost every Democrat on Capitol Hill agreed that the evidence indicated that he had not gotten rid of his WMD capabilities.)

    Now, America has returned to the region in force, but this time it faces a new type of threat. Not a rogue nation invading its neighbors, nor a fundamentalist government providing sanctuary to jihadist terrorists, but a jihadi threat that is on the verge of capturing a whole country and which has declared the re-establishment of the Caliphate, the theocratic empire of Islam.


    Despite our experience with the region and the missions of the last 13 years since the horrific attacks of September 2001, the administration is making five crucial mistakes as it deploys our brave men and women to the war-zone once more:


    ISIS – or more correctly: The Islamic State (IS), since it changed its name recently – is not just a terrorist group like Al Qaeda. With the influx of thousands of foreign fighters, the US weapons it has captured, and the obvious charisma of its leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, IS is now a true insurgency, meaning it controls territory in daylight. In fact, the most recent estimate is that The Islamic State now controls a combined area of Syria and Iraq larger that the landmass of the United Kingdom. In no way it is a “JV team.” As a result the current “counterterrorism” approach of the government will by definition prove inadequate.


    Never in the history of modern warfare has an insurgency been defeated by airpower. This is not a state-actor enemy with static targets which can be pummeled from the sky. It is an unconventional threat group which is hyper-mobile. After several days of bombings, IS will simply retreat into areas we cannot target from the air, such as heavily populated towns or cities. Such enemies can be defeated, but only if we use the Foreign Internal Defense (FID) model developed by US Special Forces, the “Green Berets,” under which local ground assets take the fight to the jihadists with a proportionally small number of US units acting as special advisers and providers of unique capabilities and intelligence platforms.


    The Islamic State is already in a league all of its own and represents a new level of threat which far exceeds al Qaeda (AQ) and which will not be vanquished by the methods the Bush and Obama administrations have used against AQ. By all measures, IS has outdone al Qaeda. From the number of Westerners it has recruited– including women– to the amount of money it has, to its sophisticated use of social media for propaganda purposes, it has proven itself to be the jihadist movement al Qaeda always dreamt of being but never was.


    Treating the Islamic State as the problem misses the central nature of the jihadi threat, the fact that it is global. Whether the group is called ISIS or IS, or it is the al Nusra Front in Syria, or Al Shabaab in North Africa, or Boko Haram in Nigeria, these are all one and the same threat. Every member of each of these groups– and the hundreds of other groups fighting in theaters as dispersed geographically as Chechnya or the Philippines– believes exactly the same thing: that they are the best Muslims, true warriors of Allah, and the West is un-Islamic and must be destroyed so a new theocratic empire of Islam can be re-established and expand to cover the world. Focusing on one threat at a time– al Qaeda, then ISIS, and then the next one– will only mean we will be fighting such groups for decades if not centuries.


    Given the last point, it is clear that The Islamic State is simply the manifestation of a problem, not the cause of the problem itself. The disease which links all the aforementioned threat groups – which are symptoms – is the ideology of Global Jihad. It is the narrative of Holy War which unites bin Laden to the Boston Bombers, which unites the Boston Bombers to al Baghdadi. One cannot defeat an ideology with bombing runs. You can’t even destroy it with boots on the ground. The final victory against a totalitarian ideology – as in WWII, or even the Cold War – can only come when one discredits the enemy’s message, when you delegitimize his narrative. Unfortunately, with his recent speech to the United Nations, in which he compared the problems of the Middle East to the shooting of a suspected shoplifter in Ferguson, Missouri, the President once more reinforced the administration line that ideology is irrelevant to the threat we all face today.


    To quote a British specialist on Islamist radicalism, writing recently on the utter failure of the British approach to jihadism: “it is also unclear if a state or society can win an ideology-based conflict if it ceases defending, advocating, believing in, and seeking to spread its own ideals.”


    Can one win this type of war if you do not believe America is an exceptional nation?

    Similarities Between Democrats And Terrorists . . . Not All That Surprising

    Below is a small part of an older transcript from the Rush Limbaugh show which I posted two years ago. I decided it was worth a ‘rerun’.
    This is an exposé on the commonality between the American Left, which now includes the majority of elected Democrats.These people have been consumed with the “radicalization” of Liberalism — which is by definition a cousin to socialism/ communist. It’s just that close cousin the Left wants to keep hidden in the proverbial attic so American’s don’t understand who they really are.
    Much of their ideology is in lockstep with “radical Islamist”. Don’t believe it? Keep reading.
    Both ideologies hate “free speech” afforded to Americans and most western cultures. Islam has no tolerance for anyone speaking against Muhammad, Islam in general, beheadings, sharia law, bacon, women or . . . much else. Neither do Democrats, except when they’re pretending to. They have worked extremely long and hard to promote all conservative speech, as “hate speech”, so it can be controlled or eliminated. Their general policy has been to use insults, hyperbole and calls of racism, bigotry and intolerance, to shut up their Conservatives opposition.
    It’s also true that neither ideology approve of individual freedom or self-determination, but want, and demand, that their ideology be the only acceptable ideology. Political Correctness IS the suppression of free speech. It was created to intimidation and control those that allow it to do so. Americans have all been bullied by it in one form or another. Is that not exactly what we’ve seen with “radical” Islam?
    “Radical” Islam/ terrorist believe and teach religious conformity of Sharia law. Women are less esteemed than camels. Democrats hate, use foul language directed at and revile Conservation woman because they disagree with their values. Examples: here
    Liberals believe in the ‘group’ and conformity; the group is more important than the individual — is really doesn’t take a “village” to raise a child, but a Mom and Dad.
    Leftist believe the individual should be willing to give up personal freedom for their idea of a “better society” (no smoking ordinance, ‘gun free zones’, food controls, “green” demands, speech conformity, banning of drink, sugar and names – like Redskins). Very recently Democrats in Congress have even made moves to change the Constitution/ Bill of Rights by “limiting free speech”. As we know, that’s to punish and control the “Right”/ Conservatives and their God-given, Constitutional rights to speech.
    The Left demands tolerance for their views (acceptance of homosexual marriage for instance) and demand all others be tolerant of their views — only. This by definition, makes the Leftist agenda, intolerant. When disagreement arose over Barack Obama’s policies and ideology, the Left screamed “racist!” in an attempt to shut Conservatives up — rather than debate their radical ideology. More intolerance morphed into tyranny.
    This is what all “radicals” do – whether Islamic…. or Leftist Democrats. Demand everyone conform to their ideas of ‘right’.
    Read part of this transcript and see the similarities in what these people. Conservatives won’t be surprised. Democrats, liberals and Leftist will simply deny the truth as they always do:
    Caller: The Left love to preach to others. — You know, because of this holier-than-thou feeling that they need to preach their beliefs to somebody else, they’re going to look for something wrong; for something to criticize in the other people. Even though the mainstream citizens aren’t doing anything wrong. And that’s pretty much where it stems from, that even though the radical Muslims are committing egregious crimes, somebody here is condemning it and exposing it. ……
    RUSH: Because it’s a real basic question: Why in the world do they go so far out of their way to make sure these people aren’t offended? I think it’s because they, the American left, have a lot in common with militant Islam. They have a common enemy, and the common enemy is American conservatives.
    RUSH: I think they’re both totalitarian. They believe in totalitarianism. They believe in the largest central command and control, commanding and telling everybody what they can and can’t do. Where they can and can’t go. What they can and can’t eat. The similarities between the American left and militant Islam are shocking.
    We (conservatives, and normal Americans) believe in freedom, and that doesn’t go with either liberalism or Islam. Let me read you this LA Times op-ed, which claims that freedom of speech probably does go too far when it involves Islam.
    Answer this question with intellectual honesty: “If your average liberal had a choice to rid the world of Muslim extremism or American conservatism, what do you think the liberal would choose?”
    We (conservatives) want freedom, individual responsibility, individuality, entrepreneurism. You make the best of life however you can. Equality of outcomes is not possible. They want sameness everywhere, even sameness in dress. It’s really striking when you think about it, all the areas of similarity. It really is. When a terrorist act happens, what’s the liberals’ first reaction? Blame conservatives! Dark Knight Rising? Tea Party! Gabby Giffords? Sarah Palin!
    Liberals hate the facts — they’re so ‘inconvenient’. But it’s always the Liberal Left who condemned free speech, the right to self defense (gun ownership), make laws as to what is “allowed” to eat or drink (or the size cup that’s “allowed” to be sold). Now they’re starting to kowtow to Sharia law (as Obama and Hillary did last weekend) – appeasing Muslims, condemning Christians beliefs (just as the Catholic Church).
    They, the Left, Liberals, and Democrats refuse to see themselves in a mirror held to their faces. Like a vampire, they see no reflection — only manufactured hated, bigotry and racism emanating from their own blinded souls.

    WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken said that President Obama is avoiding the “trap” of putting ground troops in the fight against ISIS, saying that U.S. boots on the ground is “exactly what al Qaeda wants.”


    Speaking with CBS News’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Blinken said that President Obama’s approach to fighting the Islamic State terrorists is weary of putting U.S. ground troops in Iraq or Syria because local forces should be “stepping up and fighting for their own country.”


    “We’ve been very clear that there will not be U.S. ground invasion of Iraq or Syria. This has to be local forces stepping up and fighting for their own country,” Blinken told CBS News. We’re not going to repeat what we did before. Hundreds of thousands of Americans on the ground in the Middle East getting bogged down — that’s exactly what al Qaeda wants.”


    Dismissing the notion that President Obama changed his opinion when authorizing the ISIS strikes, Blinken says that Obama has been consistent in his fight against terrorist threats.


    “Actually, there’s a very strong continuum in the president’s approach to this. He’s been relentless about dealing with terrorism wherever it emerges. And that goes back to before he was president when he said go after bin Laden in Pakistant even if the Pakistanis didn’t want us to.”


    Blinken responded to comments made by House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, that if local troops don’t fight ISIS then the U.S. would “have no choice” but to send in ground troops. Boehner told ABC’s “This Week” that he would bring back Congress to vote on authorization if President Obama wants it.


    “We would welcome Congress’ support,” Blinken said in response to Boehner’s comments. “We don’t require it. We have the existing authorization from 2001; that’s the basis for proceeding. But we would certainly welcome Congress showing its support.”


    Blinken said that the U.S. airstrikes are putting ISIS/ISIL terrorists on the defensive.


    “What we’re doing is setting back ISIL in Iraq and also in Syria, moving them form their toes to their heels, getting them thinking about protecting themselves instead of killing other people and taking territory. And as we’re doing that, building up our local partners and so other ideas that may come into play down the line, we’re looking at all of that,” he said.

    #AceNewsServices – TUNISIA – September 29 – A radical Tunisian sheik who has called for the murder of U.S. troops abroad and was banned from the United States for supporting the terror group Hamas is scheduled to headline an event on Tuesday at Yale University focusing on Islamic law and civilization, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.

    ‘ Calls for Deaths of US Troops ‘

    Sheikh Rachid al-Ghannouchi, the head of Tunisia’s controversial Islamist Ennahda Movement, is scheduled to head a lecture Tuesday afternoon Yale’s Law School, according to the school’s website.

    Al-Ghannouchi’s upcoming appearance at the Ivy League school could become controversial given the sheik’s longtime support for radical terror groups and his past calls for Muslims to wage “unceasing war against the Americans.”

    Al-Ghannouchi is the leading figure in Tunisia’s previously banned but hugely popular Islamist Ennahda (“Resistance”) political party, which despite being billed as “moderate” by many, has a history of violence inside and outside of Tunisia.

    ‘ Leader of the Islamist Ennahda Movement ‘

    Al-Ghannouchi was a founding trustee and board member of a group that signed onto a notorious2004 fatwa endorsing the murder of U.S. troops in Iraq and has personally urged the Muslim world to “burn and destroy” U.S. interests across the globe.

    ‘ Islamist Ennahda Movement ‘

    “There must be no doubt that we will strike anywhere against whoever strikes Iraq,” the sheikh said during a speech in the early 1990s and reported on by Middle East scholar Martin Kramer.

    “We must wage unceasing war against the Americans until they leave the land of Islam, or we will burn and destroy all their interests across the entire Islamic world,” al-Ghannouchi was quoted as saying. “Muslim youth must be serious in their warning to the Americans that a blow to Iraq will be a license to strike American and Western interests throughout the Islamic world.”

    The sheik’s violent rhetoric, radical leanings, and endorsement of Hamas led him to be banned from entering the United States for a time.

    Killian and Moore will provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media. “This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian told The News Monday. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.” … Killian said Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal jurisdiction.

    The posting he offers as a “for instance” is an egregious one. And yet this country has long protected, absolutely, egregious speech, such as hardcore pornography, for a simple reason: Either you are at liberty to say what you will or you are not.
    If you are constantly double-thinking every word you might say, for fear of being prosecuted, you are self-censoring, in anticipation of a possible prosecution by the government.



    Rather than having a system in which people were constantly worried about imprisonment for speech, our country has evolved a simple bright-line code: Speech of all kinds, with a few exceptions that can be counted on three fingers, is absolutely protected.



    Remember, the importance of this bright-line, no-exceptions rule of free speech was preached to us, even when some of us might not have liked it so much, as when hardcore pornography was afforded absolute protection under the First Amendment.



    In the case of hardcore pornography, it was argued — successfully — that having each artist weigh the possibility of an obscenity prosecution was too much of a burden on his free speech rights, and would have, unavoidably, a chilling effect on speech.
    That was the rule then, and that was the rationale.



    But now comes the Obama Administration to tell you that Yes, you just might be imprisoned for something you say online, so you’d better Watch What You Say. Entire article below.



    Remember when Ari Fleischer said that, without suggesting any kind of legal penalties? Remember how the media freaked out?
    But now comes the US Attorney for the Eastern district of Tennessee explicitly telling you that you may be imprisoned if a political appointee decides your political speech has crossed a line.



    Somehow, I don’t think Tim Robbins will be portentously howling us that a “chill wind” is blowing across our rights of free expression this week.



    Editorial footnote: We are arriving at the period of time in America when the herd will be thinned. We are asking ALL Americans to continue to post, write and distribute your thoughts as you please. Approaching us now are the days of the true warriors. Let the paper tigers fall and burn. It is easy to stand up for what you believe in when there are no consequences for your actions, but the true definition of boldness is standing up for what you believe in when you have everything to lose.     But now comes the Obama Administration to tell you that Yes, you just might be imprisoned for something you say online, so you'd better Watch What You Say.

    Remember when Ari Fleischer said that, without suggesting any kind of legal penalties? Remember how the media freaked out?

    But now comes the US Attorney for the Eastern district of Tennessee explicitly telling you that you may be imprisoned if a political appointee decides your political speech has crossed a line.

    Somehow, I don't think Tim Robbins will be portentously howling us that a "chill wind" is blowing across our rights of free expression this week.

    If someone comes to my home to arrest me for "saying something they don't like"... the consequences to the so-called arresting officials will be out of my hands.

    It's that simple.

    This is the United States of America and the cops, attorneys-General, and Presidents NOTWITHSTANDING have no RIGHT to fuck with me or any other American Citizen for expressing their views, opinions and standing up for their rights.

    Muslims follow Islam. Islam is home to TERRORISTS. Unless and until Muslims remove those so-called "fanatics" from their ranks, they are ALL the same to me. Terrorists.

    (Reuters) - A photo of American journalist James Foley shortly before his beheading by the Islamic state militant group is being removed from anti-Islam advertisements appearing on Monday on 100 New York City buses and two subway stations.


    In response to a complaint from the Foley family, the advertisement is being altered to include an unidentifiable severed head held by the masked militant seen wielding a knife in the video of Foley's beheading, said David Yerushalmi, lawyer for Pamela Geller, whose group is sponsoring the ads.


    "The use of Mr. Foley's photo in your advertisement will cause profound distress to the Foley family," family lawyer J. Patrick Rowan said in a letter to Geller.


    Geller writes a blog criticizing Islam. Her group, American Freedom Defense Initiative, paid for a six-ad series scheduled to run for a month on the city's mass transit system.


    The ads, including one showing Foley in the video of his beheading released in August, suggest that Islam is inherently violent and extremist, and call for the end of American aid to Islamic countries.


    "Having lived in and reported from communities in which nearly everyone was of Muslim faith, he had great respect for the religion and those who practiced it," the Foley family lawyer wrote, referring to the journalist.


    "The advertisement you are preparing to run seems to convey the message that ordinary practitioners of Islam are a dangerous threat. This message is entirely inconsistent with Mr. Foley's reporting and his beliefs."


    Foley, 40, was kidnapped by armed men in Syria in 2012. Islamic State has seized parts of Syria and Iraq.


    Geller's lawyer said the image will be replaced out of "compassion for the family's pain and anguish."


    New York City politicians and religious leaders last week criticized the ad campaign, saying no faith should be subject to attack ads and calling it an attempt to divide the city.


    Geller was behind a similar ad campaign in 2012 on the city's transport system, which was initially rejected by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, a state agency. A federal judge later decided that the MTA's rule against ads that demeaned race, gender, religion or several other categories was unconstitutional.


    The MTA has since revised its standard, and so-called viewpoint ads like Geller's now run with a large disclaimer saying the MTA does not endorse the views expressed.

    Controversial firebrand blogger Pamela Geller has pulled an anti-Islam ad featuring American journalist James Foley on his knees just prior to his beheading.
    The ads were to run on MTA buses and in subway stations, but Foley’s parents joined elected officials in denouncing the campaign and asked Geller not to go through with it.
    The ads were scheduled to begin running on Monday in New York and San Francisco, but Geller buckled to the 11th-hour pressure.
    Geller sent a letter to the Foleys’ attorney announcing the ads will no longer run.
    “As a mother, and one who still feels the pain of the hideous murders of many in her extended family by the Nazis, and with friends in Israel brutally affected by Islamic terrorism as a constant of daily life, Ms. Geller understands and feels intimately the pain your clients are suffering,” reads the letter by Geller’s lawyer, David Yerushalmi.

    “For this reason, and this reason alone, (Geller has) reached out as early as this morning to the New York and San Francisco transit authorities’ respective advertising agents to pull the displays depicting the captive Mr. Foley prior to his beheading.”
    Geller’s group, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, had bankrolled the $100,000 ad blitz, which was billed as an “education campaign” to wake up New Yorkers to the dangers of extremists groups like ISIS and Hamas.
    But Foley’s parents and critics said the ads were bigoted and slanderous to law-abiding Muslims.
    Public Advocate Letitia James slammed the MTA for green-lighting Geller’s ad in the first place.

    “The MTA’s advertising policies make no sense and are woefully inconsistent,” said James.
    The MTA said it allowed the ad because courts have ruled that the transit system is a public forum, and that banning viewpoints from being expressed in that forum violates the constitutional right to free speech.
    The public advocate “knows full well that a federal court ruling prevents us from banning the Geller ads,” said MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz.
    Yerushalmi said some of the Foley ads might still appear in public, given the last-minute decision by Geller, whose group frequently takes out ads highlighting Islamic terrorism.

    Well, now we know what it takes to stop Pamela Geller’s crusade against terrorism: an actual victim of it.
    Condemned by such noted liberals as the ADL, Dinesh D’Souza, and the Daily News, banned by the Great Neck Synagogue (but embraced by Chabad), Geller is the anti-Muslim wacko who takes ads on buses and subways to remind us all that followers of Islam are “savages” and that there’s no such thing as a moderate Muslim. (Someone better inform Dr. Oz.)

    Until yesterday, Geller was planning another assault on the citizens of New York, in the form of hateful bus and subway ads. But at the 11th hour, reason intervened, in the form of the family of James Foley, one of the Islamic State’s victims, who asked that Geller pull the ads.
    The Foley family succeeded where an array of activists and municipalities have failed. Say what you will about Geller’s politics, her legal counsel is excellent. Her organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative — and its project, Stop the Islamicization of America — has won court victories that make it very difficult for the MTA, or its sister agencies in Boston, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., to stop her. “Our hands are tied,” an MTA representative told the Daily News.
    This is, after all, political speech, carefully lawyered to evade prosecution. And let’s remember that Geller has only committed to withdrawing those picturing Foley, which still leaves plenty of hate to be written on the subway walls.
    Prior to the Foleys’ success, tactics have varied widely — with similarly varying results.
    The best the MTA has been able to win is a disclaimer that SOIA’s views are not those of the MTA. Mayor Bill DiBlasio has proposed contemplation: Those “forced to view [the ads] can take comfort in the knowledge that we share a better, loftier and nobier view of humanity.” Alright.
    San Francisco’s Muni system did better, posting their own ads a few feet from Geller’s setting forth Muni’s anti-discrimination policy and explicitly condemning Geller’s statements. Better.
    Moderate Muslim organizations have started their own counter-protests: the #MyJihad campaign (which Geller has co-opted) and humor-based campaigns such as “Fighting Bigotry With Hilarious Posters,” which warns us that “the Muslims are coming — to your radiology department.” Nice.
    And enterprising activists have made an art form out of directly “modifying” Geller’s posters, sometimes just with black spray paint but other times with pictures of Geller herself and witty speech-bubbles like “I’m obsessed and must struggle to stop.” I won’t name acronyms, but some left-leaning Jewish organizations have gotten in on the act too.
    Here, however, I’d like to take a different tack.
    Geller’s ads may have been pulled, but her presence is still felt keenly in our community, and I think it’s too easy to focus on Geller as a racist clown, thus giving all the rest of us a free pass. Geller is like a pro-Israel Barry Goldwater: in our hearts, many in our community believe her to be right.
    So, rather than Di-Blasian self-satisfaction, I’d like to invite the exact opposite: self-questioning. It’s highly appropriate for this season of repentance, and it is a lot more productive. We should be asking ourselves: What views do I hold that enable, or resemble, such extremism? If I’m on the Left, do I call out my friends when their anti-Zionism slides into anti-Semitism? And if I’m on the Right, do I hold myself and my friends accountable for views which border on bigotry?
    Let me give some examples, direct from Geller herself.
    One of Geller’s new ads states that “Hamas is ISIS, Hamas is Al-Qaeda, Hamas is Boko Haram, Hamas is CAIR in America.” Factually, this is quite false. In fact, while Hamas has nominally supported ISIS in Syria — thus damaging ties with its historic sponsor, Iran — the Islamic State is a Salafist jihadist/fundamentalist movement that regards Hamas as impure and the Israel/Palestinian conflict as largely irrelevant. In fact, Hamas’s best friend today is Qatar, which is in the coalition opposing the Islamic State. Unsurprisingly, Geller is just ignorant here.
    But to vilify CAIR in this way is defamatory, like saying that AIPAC is Baruch Goldstein. Do some CAIR members support Hamas? Probably. Did some AIPAC members support Goldstein? Probably. Does that make them identical? No.
    Now I want to turn the question inward. Have I learned enough about the differences among Muslim groups, or do I reduce them all to the “Them” in an Us/Them dichotomy? Do I recognize that all religious and national groups have their moderates and extremists? That Paul Ryan isn’t Bill O’Reilly isn’t Pamela Geller — even if they’ve all intersected at times?
    And do I appreciate the consequences for American civil society if I were really to believe, as another Geller ad insists, that “yesterday’s moderate is today’s headline”? Is everyone who has an expansive view of the Second Amendment the same as mass shooters in Colorado and Connecticut? Is every conservative in the KKK? Do we see what this kind of thinking would mean?
    Let’s take a second example. “Jew-hatred: It’s in the Quran,” an AFDI poster blares. And indeed, the Quran has many violent passages, including some about Jews — most notoriously 5:60, which says that “some” Jews have been transformed into “monkeys and pigs.” It is definitely triumphalist in nature. (See, e.g. 4:101, 66:9, 28:66.)
    But have you read the Quran, cover to cover? Including verses like 2:256 (“Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error”), or the many similar exhortations in 6:107, 11:28, 42:8, 65:26, and elsewhere? Or, for that matter, 2:47, which exhorts “Children of Israel! Call to mind the favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations”?
    To be sure, ISIS’s barbarianshave not lived up to these nobler teachings. Nor did the Crusaders, of course, live up to theirs.
    And have you read the Bible, cover to cover? Including Deuteronomy 7:2-3, which calls for the complete ethnic cleansing of the Land of Israel, along with similar exhortations in Numbers 31:7-18, Joshua 11:12-15, and elsewhere? And is not Judaism likewise triumphalist, sure that it is the one true religion?
    All Western religions have teachings of peace and teachings of violence within them. All have followers who emphasize one or the other. All can be triumphalist, violent, and ethnocentric — or the opposite. In some times and places, the fundamentalists hold sway; in others, the moderates. This is reality.
    Perhaps you’ve noticed the irony here. In condemning all Muslims as savage and violent, Geller is herself becoming like those Muslims who are. She is a fundamentalist like they are fundamentalists; she is irrational like they are irrational.
    And another irony: So are we, if we simply assume that Geller is over there, and I’m over here. Moderate/Extremist is just another Us/Them dichotomy — one that gives me a pass just as Geller’s Us/Them dichotomy gives her.
    Actually, we are all Pamela Geller to some extent: She is simply the manifestation of the fearful, irrational, and hateful parts of each of us. There’s a Geller inside me and a Geller inside you. I can listen to that part of myself and “know she’s right.” Or I can listen to it, reflect on it, and explore whether that’s the voice I want to obey.
    Indeed, what finally defeated Geller — in this particular battle at least — was nothing more and nothing less than basic human decency. A grieving family with every reason to support her vitriolic rhetoric has instead asked her to back off. They have risen above vengeance to something better.
    It is all too human to support Pamela Geller, and all too human to simply blow her off. But as the Foley family has shown, it is also possible to rise above her.

    To hear President Obama Sunday Night on “60 Minutes” talking about the rise of ISIS, you’d think the radical group of Islamists pretty much came out of nowhere — that its formidable emergence onto the terror scene was a real surprise.
    In fact, in the “60 Minutes” interview with Steve Kroft, Obama threw his intelligence experts under the bus, saying they were seriously caught off guard by the sudden threat posed by the Islamic State.

    However, Obama’s characterization of the ISIS threat simply isn’t true, according to a report on one of the leading liberal websites — a site that regularly and reliably supports and defends Obama — The Daily Beast.
    On “60 Minutes,” the president faulted his spies for failing to predict the rise of ISIS. There’s one problem with that statement: The intelligence analysts did warn about the group.
    Nearly eight months ago, some of President Obama’s senior intelligence officials were already warning that ISIS was on the move. In the beginning of 2014, ISIS fighters had defeated Iraqi forces in Fallujah, leading much of the U.S. intelligence community to assess they would try to take more of Iraq.
    To back up its charge that Obama’s claim that U.S. intelligence failed to recognize the ISIS threat, The Daily Beast report quoted an intelligence source whose reaction could be described as “colorful.”
    Reached by The Daily Beast after Obama’s interview aired, one former senior Pentagon official who worked closely on the threat posed by Sunni jihadists in Syria and Iraq was flabbergasted. “Either the president doesn’t read the intelligence he’s getting or he’s bullshitting,” the former official said.
    Considering how The Daily Beast is so often and so firmly in the liberal camp, it’s rather remarkable to see the detail with which its report lays out the case that Obama was either not paying attention to intelligence reports on ISIS or is now being untruthful.
    Still, other senior intelligence officials have been warning about ISIS for months. In prepared testimony before the annual House and Senate intelligence committees’ threat hearings in January and February, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the recently departed director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, said the group would likely make a grab for land before the end of the year. ISIS “probably will attempt to take territory in Iraq and Syria to exhibit its strength in 2014.”
    In an extensive opinion piece on foxnews.com earlier this month, author Richard Grenell also observed that Obama has either downplayed the threat of Islamic terrorism or expressed surprise and dismay when it rears its ugly head.

    From the moments Obama took office, he has downplayed the threats from radical Islamists. In order to get re-elected, Obama told us Al Qaeda was on the run and all but defeated. But how did he manage to downplay the threat posed by ISIS, even as a broad, bipartisan consensus formed against the group as the biggest threat to American interests since 9/11?
    Barely having mentioned the group throughout 2011-13, Obama finally broke his silence in January 2014 to David Remnick of the New Yorker by referring to ISIS as a Bush league joke of a non-threat: “The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.”
    Obama critics have long argued that the president is much more concerned with golf outings and fundraising than he is with national security. Obama’s “60 Minutes” charade would seem to support that concern. And might well also lead to concern by Democrats already worried that the president is perceived by voters as grossly out of touch.

    The ISIS barbarians are out with a new threat: slaughter the families of American military members and personnel. According to a memo first reported by Fox News, the U.S. Army Threat Center has issued an alert to military families to remain vigilant as ISIS continues to look for ways to intimidate Americans.
    "ISIL has called on lone offenders in the U.S. to use the "yellow pages," social media sites like Facbook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to find the addresses of service members, show up at [at their homes] and slaughter them."
    "Given the continued rhetoric being issued by ISIL's media services and supporters through various social media platforms the ARTIC is concerned of the possibility of an attack," the bulletin says. "Soldiers, Government Civilians and Family Members are reminded to be vigilant of their surroundings and report suspicious activities to their respective military or local law enforcement."
    Service members and their families have been advised to limit who can see their social media profiles, to avoid posting about their connection to the military and to turn off public location indicators.
