I believe that there is a misguided understanding in the world that Americans are now fat, lazy slobs who can't even get out of their own way, much less defend themselves. I fear that those perpetuating this misunderstanding have yet to realize the resolve and the force in which a great portion of the American populace will respond to direct threat to life and limb. IS blood will run in the streets.

“Allah Is Greater”: ISIS Graffiti Showing Up In Washington, DC

10/08/2014 ICA Leave a comment Go to comments

    [COLOR=#]3 Votes[/COLOR]

Who does this “Allah” think he is greater than? In Hebrew, the name of Satan — “Lucifer” — is “heylel” and means “light-bearer.” The Arabic equivalent is “hilāl ” and means “crescent moon.” Coincidence? …
Isaiah 14:13-14, “For thou [Satan] hast said in thine heart, ‘I will ascend ['alah'] into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend ['alah'] above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.’”
Flashback: ISIS Flag Hung In Front Of White House, ‘We Are In Your State, We Are In Your Cities, We Are In Your Streets’
The Washington Free Beacon – “ISIL graffiti has been spotted in several places around Washington, D.C.
The vandalism appears to be ‘Allahu Akbar’ written in Arabic followed by ISIS written in English, according to the Daily Intelligencer‘s Marin Cogan.
On Friday, I noticed something I don’t remember seeing before: ISIS-related graffiti around my Northwest Washington neighborhood.
D.C. resident Ilhan Tanir also tweeted another example of similar ISIL graffiti.
Other Islamic graffiti has been spotted as well, Cogan says.
There are more, which say “by the permission of God” in Arabic and “CIA” in English, but it’s difficult to interpret what, if anything, they might mean.
The FBI is reportedly aware of the graffiti and is asking anyone who comes across some to report it to them or local police.” Source – The Washington Free Beacon.

I think we need to resign ourselves to the fact that we will be fighting ISIS in the United States in the coming years, and that there will be an exponential growth of their movement as certain groups of Americans increasingly convert to Islam. The domestic and the foreign problems we face will actually merge.
"God's an old hand at miracles, he brings us from nonexistence to life. And surely he will resurrect all human flesh on the last day in the twinkling of an eye. But who can comprehend this? For God is this: he creates the new and renews the old. Glory be to him in all things!" Archpriest Avvakum

Does ISIS have an airforce? Terrorist 'fighter pilots' are being trained on captured MiGs by Saddam Hussein's ex-air force officers

    • Witnesses say ISIS are carrying out test flights at an airport near Aleppo
    • Understood to have captured three Soviet-made jets from Syrian Air Force
    • They are using former Iraqi Air Force officers to train prospective pilots
    • News comes as Al Qaeda looks to mend relations with the Islamic State
    • Statement emerged today calling for jihadists to set aside their differences

Islamic State leaders in Syria and Iraq are training their fighters to fly captured fighter jets in the hope of establishing an air force, it has been claimed.
The terror group are understood to have been carrying out test flights the captured al-Jarrah military airport east of Aleppo, according to a British-based organisation monitoring the Syrian Civil War.
Having captured three fighter jets from the Syrian military, ISIS are using Iraqi pilots who were once officers in Saddam Hussein's air force to train Syria-based militants to operate the warplanes.
The news comes as Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula sought to mend its strained relations with ISIS, urging all jihadist groups operating in the Middle East to unite under the common cause of fighting against Western 'crusader' armies.

Power: ISIS has been steadily building a full-equipped military - including large tanks, such as the one pictured here in Raqqa). Much of the equipment in their possession has been seized from Syrian regime forces

Show of strength: ISIS militants take part in a military parade along the streets of Raqqa earlier this year

ISIS' alleged test flights over the Aleppo countryside are understood to be the first time the terror group - which seized control of vast swathes of Syria and Iraq earlier this year - has taken to the air.
'They have trainers, Iraqi officers who were pilots before for Saddam Hussein,' said Rami Abdulrahman, who runs the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

'People saw the flights, they went up many times from the airport and they are flying in the skies outside the airport and coming back,' he said, citing witnesses near al-Jarrah military airport.
The airport, which was seized from the Syrian regime earlier this year, is approximately 45 miles from the Turkish border.
It is not clear if the jets are equipped with weaponry nor if the pilots are able to fly long distances, but witnesses said the planes appear to be Soviet-built MiG 21 or MiG 23 models.

'WE'VE REDUCED ISIS TO JUST TWO POCKETS OF HOLD-OUTS' BOAST KURDS AFTER BLOODY FIGHTBACK TO STOP FANATICS TAKING KOBANE

Islamic State militants have been almost entirely driven out of the Syrian city of Kobane following a remarkable fightback by Kurdish forces who vowed to either defeat the terrorists or die trying.
The extremists have abandoned all of their positions in the city, except for two small pockets of resistance in the east of the city, Kurdish commander Baharin Kandal said.
As recently as Monday it looked as if the fall of Kobane was imminent.
The massively outgunned Kurdish fighters had been pushed back ever closer to the city centre by ISIS militants advancing into the suburbs, leaving hundreds of mainly elderly residents facing rape and massacre.
But with the help of the most intense U.S. and Arab bombing raids of the anti-ISIS campaign so far, the Kurdish forces have been able to kill hundreds of militants over the past two days.
They have also managed to force the militants have not been killed to retreat further into the outskirts of the town.
News that ISIS have been almost entirely forced out of Kobane comes after two days of heavy air strikes by U.S. warplanes.

ISIS' alleged test flights come despite American and Arab warplanes carrying out dozens of bombing raids against the group in Syria.
The terrorists have regularly used weaponry captured from the Syrian and Iraqi armies and have overrun several military bases but this was the first time it had been able to pilot warplanes.
Pro-Islamic State Twitter accounts had previously posted pictures of captured jets in other parts of Syria, but the aircraft had appeared unusable, according to analysts and diplomats.
News of the test flights comes as Al Qaeda - which has previously condemned ISIS for being too brutal - ostensibly sought to repair ties with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's group.
In a statement released today, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula - the notorious terror collective's Yemen-based franchise - urged jihadists throughout the Middle East to put their differences aside, according to Charlie Winter, a researcher on jihad at counter-terrorism think-tank Quilliam
The document is understood to have called for Al Qaeda - who are represented in Syria by the Nusra Front and Khorasan terror groups - to stop fighting with ISIS, adding that the militants should instead focus on attacking Western 'crusader' forces and carrying out strikes on American targets.
Titled 'Statement on the Crusader Coalition', the document is Al Qaeda's strongest show of support for ISIS since leader Ayman al-Zawahiri denounced the group for the brutal tactics late last year.

Advance: The Islamic State and its allied Sunni militants seized the Anbar city of Fallujah, parts of Ramadi and large rural areas of Anbar early this year

Security: ISIS has been making gains around Ramadi in recent weeks against the embattled Iraqi military, despite ongoing U.S.-led coalition airstrikes on the militants

'We urge all Muslims to back their brethren, with their souls, money and tongues, against the crusaders,' the Al Qaeda statement reads.
It also urges Muslims to support 'whoever can weaken the Americans to weaken them militarily, economically, and media-wise.'
Earlier today, Iraqi officials in the western Anbar province said a curfew has been imposed in the provincial capital Ramadi over fears that the Islamic State group might try to advance on the city.
Sabah Karhout, the chairman of the Anbar provincial council, says the curfew began at midnight this morning as part of an effort to limit movement in and out of the city.
ISIS has been making gains around Ramadi in recent weeks against the embattled Iraqi military, despite ongoing U.S.-led coalition airstrikes on the militants.
Two Iraqi military officials, speaking anonymously because they are not authorized to brief the media, say major operations are underway in Salahuddin province to retake key areas from the Sunni militants around Tikrit and the Beiji oil refinery.
ISIS and allied Sunni militants seized the Anbar city of Fallujah, parts of Ramadi and large rural areas of Anbar early this year.
The loss of Fallujah - where American troops engaged in some of the heaviest fighting of the more than eight-year U.S.-led war in the country - foreshadowed the later loss of Iraq's second city of Mosul and much of the north.
THE GROWING INFLUENCE OF ISIS NOW REACHES PAKISTAN AS TALIBAN LEADERS PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO BRUTAL JIHADIST GROUP

Six senior figures in the Pakistani Taliban have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a symbol of the terrorists' expanding influence among Islamist groups.
Withdrawing their loyalty to the Afghan Taliban's leader Mohammad Omar, the men - made up of the group's chief spokesman Shahidullah Shahid and five regional commanders - said they will remain members of the Pakistani Taliban, but added they now consider themselves affiliates of ISIS.
The move is likely to have serious consequences for security in Pakistan, particularly near the Afghan border where all six of the men are based, leaving it open to the kind of violence and brutal oppression ISIS has employed in the vast swathes of Syria and Iraq under the group's control.

Militants: Withdrawing their loyalty to the Afghan Taliban's leader Mohammad Omar, the men - made up of the group's chief spokesman Shahidullah Shahid (centre) and five regional commanders - said they will remain members of the Pakistani Taliban, but added they now consider themselves affiliates of ISIS

The official announcement of the six men's declaration of allegiance to ISIS came in the form of an audio recording that emerged on Wednesday. However rumours had been circulating for weeks that several senior figures in the Pakistani Taliban were set to declare their loyalty to al-Baghdadi.
'I show allegiance to the commander of faithful, Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Qureshi al Hussaini, and will listen and obey every order of you and will follow your orders regardless of what circumstances may be,' Shahid said in the recording.
There is now concern that other senior figures in the Pakistani Taliban may defect to ISIS, including the group's overall leader Maulana Fazlullah, who has previously voiced support for the terror group.
Despite several members having declared their ISIS sympathies, the announcement is the first time any senior figure within the Pakistani Taliban has actually sworn allegiance to al-Baghdadi.

Syria says shoots down two of three Islamic State jets

    BEIRUT Wed Oct 22, 2014 1:47pm BST

(Reuters) - Syria's air force has destroyed two fighter jets operated by Islamic State militants in the north of the country, Information Minister Omran Zoabi said in remarks published on Syria's state news agency SANA late on Tuesday.

A Syrian monitoring group said on Friday that Iraqi pilots trained under former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein had joined Islamic State and were conducting training flights in three captured fighter jets at a air base in Aleppo province.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Islamic State, which has seized swathes of land in Syria and Iraq, had been flying the planes over the captured al-Jarrah military airport east of Aleppo.

Zoabi said the Syrian air force was searching for the third jet but had destroyed two of them, the first time Damascus has acknowledged that Islamic State are flying the aircraft.

"Regarding ... that terrorists control three jets in al-Jarrah military air base in Aleppo, there are three old aircraft that the terrorists were testing so the Syrian Arab Army immediately destroyed two of them on the runway as they were landing."

"It does not worry us and (the planes) cannot be used," he said, referring to their military capability.

Reuters was not able to verify the report of Islamic State flying jets in Syria or their destruction. U.S. Central Command said on Friday it was not aware of Islamic State flying jets in Syria.

U.S-led forces are bombing Islamic State bases in Syria and Iraq. The group has regularly used weaponry captured from the Syrian and Iraqi armies and has overrun several military bases.

Islamic State supporters circulated a video on Saturday showed a jet flying at low altitude which they said was one of the jets flown by Islamic State.

There is something very funny about this.

Also, I was thinking this morning, I would welcome ISIS's active attack of this nation. In fact, I dare them to invade and march down the streets of say Denver with their guns and flags waving. The parade would last all of about 5 minutes before an intense rain of lead dispatched each and every one of those camel riding pieces of garbage. It would be a galvanizing moment for the American people.

    Sounding a little ominous here.

Al-Baghdadi was whacked, but then he wasn't, and now he's calling for "fighting to the last man standing" (and I sure hope they do).

US is talking about ground troops going into fight next to Iraqi forces.

Another terrorist group is joining the "Islamic State" now. I"m hearing it's the "largest" (2 Nov meeting, Al Nusra plus ISIS).

We're spending 300k per hour in Iraq and we have almost no one over there.

Hagel is saying this will be "long and expensive", perhaps decades long.

President Obama offered "prayers and condolences" today to the family of Peter Kassig, an American aid worker killed by ISIS, which posted a new video online boasting of the killing.

Kassig, the fifth Western hostage ISIS has claimed to have killed since August, changed his name to Abdul-Rahman after converting to Islam, according to his parents. The aid worker and former Army Ranger was abducted in October 2013 while traveling to a town in eastern Syria.

Kassig's parents, Ed and Paula, issued a statement late today asking that their son be remembered for what he did with his life, not how it was ended.

"We are heartbroken to learn that our son, Abdul-Rahman Peter Kassig, has lost his life as a result of his love for the Syrian people and his desire to ease their suffering," they wrote. "Our heart also goes out to the families of the Syrians who lost their lives, along with our son.

"We are incredibly proud of our son for living his life according to his humanitarian calling," they wrote. "We will work every day to keep his legacy alive as best we can."
Towards the end of the nearly 16-minute video, a militant stands over a severed head, saying, "This is Peter Edward Kassig, a U.S. citizen, of your country; Peter who fought against the Muslims in Iraq, while serving as a soldier."

The militant speaks with a British accent and the video identifies his location as Dabiq, a small town in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo, near the Turkish border.

This is the first video in which the hostage isn't seen alive before his apparent murder. Matt Olsen, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said it's unclear why Kassig didn't appear on camera.

"It's possible, of course, that he wouldn't cooperate and speak on the video," said Olsen, adding that intelligence officers are examining the video in detail as they try to authenticate it.

    Obtained by ABC News

PHOTO: A purported ISIS militant speaks in a video that purports to show the death of American hostage Peter Kassig.

Kassig's parents said in a statement that they were aware of the reports of their son's death and were waiting for confirmation from the government as to the authenticity of the video. They declined to comment further.

In a letter smuggled out by a former ISIS captive, Kassig, 26, told his parents that he was afraid to die.

"I am obviously pretty scared to die but the hardest part is not knowing, wondering, hoping, and wondering if I should even hope at all," he wrote in the letter, according to his parents. "I am very sad that all this has happened and for what all of you back home are going through. If I do die, I figure that at least you and I can seek refuge and comfort in knowing that I went out as a result of trying to alleviate suffering and helping those in need."

Kassig was an Army veteran who served in the Iraq war before he was honorably discharged for medical reasons in 2007.

Kassig later became an emergency medical technician and volunteered as a medical assistant in border hospitals in Lebanon in 2012, treating Palestinian refugees and those fleeing from the Syrian conflict.

In the fall of that year, Kassig founded an NGO called SERA, Special Emergency Response and Assistance, eventually moving its base of operations to Turkey, according to a family spokesman. From there, Kassig "sourced and delivered food and medical supplies to the growing [refugee] camps on both sides of the Syrian border." He also gave primary trauma care to children caught in the crossfire.

The video released today also appears to show the mass beheading of several men identified as Syrian soldiers. The militants warn that U.S. soldiers fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria will meet a similar fate.

Prior to the most recent video, ISIS appeared to stick to a precise schedule of murder since Aug. 19, when the group showed the beheading of American journalist James Foley, by releasing a video every two weeks showing one hostage beheaded as well as a preview of the next victim. However, the last video, showing the death of British aid worker Alan Henning, was posted Oct. 3, more than a month ago.

Intelligence officials have told ABC News that ISIS media cells have been targeted by the raids and say that they have severely diminished the group's ability to produce gruesome propaganda videos and social media messaging.

Obama was briefed on the video by National Security Advisor Susan Rice while traveling back to the United States, said White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest.

Kassig "was taken from us in an act of pure evil by a terrorist group that the world rightly associates with inhumanity," Obama said. "Like Jim Foley and Steven Sotloff before him, his life and deeds stand in stark contrast to everything that ISIL represents."

ISIS has killed four other Western hostages on camera previously: Foley and American journalist Steven Sotloff, and British aid workers David Haines and Henning.
British Prime Minister David Cameron called the video of Kassig "horrifying."

I'm horrified by the cold blooded murder of Abdul-Rahman Kassig. ISIL have again shown their depravity. My thoughts are with his family.

(WARNING: Some references and images in the following report are extremely graphic. Use extreme caution.)

An Anglican priest known as the “vicar of Baghdad” for his work in war-torn Iraq has recounted atrocities inflicted on Christian children by ISIS, the Muslim jihadist army that has declared the creation of an Islamic caliphate in parts of Iraq and Syria.

“They chopped all their heads off,” Andrew White told the Christian Broadcasting Network in an interview.
    See the interview here:

In an interview in Jerusalem, where he was ordered to travel because of threats by ISIS fighters, he told of Iraqi Christian children ordered to convert to Islam or die.

“ISIS [fighters] turned up and they said to the children, ‘You say the words that you will follow Muhammad,’” White said. “The children, all under 15, four of them, they said, ‘No, we love Yasua. We have always loved Yasua. We have always followed Yasua.”

White, mimicking ISIS, shouted, “‘Say the words!’”

But the children replied, “We can’t.”

“They chopped all their heads off,” White said.

“That is what we [Christians in Iraq] have been going through. That is what we are going through,” he said.

Charisma News said in a report that “some some of the bravest martyrs this generation may ever know are teenagers – and perhaps even younger.”

While White, in the report, doesn’t provide a time or location, or whether he personally witnessed the atrocity, he said the same tactic had been used against adults.

“[Islamic jihadists] say to one man, an adult, ‘You say the words of conversion or we will kill all of your children.’ He was desperate. He said the words. Then he phoned me and said, ‘[Father], I said the words, does that mean Yasua doesn’t love me anymore? I have always loved Yasua. I said those words because I couldn’t see my children be killed.’ I said, ‘Jesus still loves you. He will always love you,’” White recalled.

He said that while Iraq had 1.5 million Christians, only a handful remain.

The largest Iraqi Christian community in the world now is in Chicago, he noted.

While reports on beheadings of adults, wholesale slaughter and torture with punishments such as crucifixion are common when ISIS is involved, WND has reported atrocities against children.

One such report came from the Anglican Communion News Service, which said the 5-year-old son of a founder of Baghdad’s Anglican church was “cut in half during an attack by the Islamic State.”

That report also cited an emotional White.

“I’m almost in tears because I’ve just had somebody in my room whose little child was cut in half,” he said. “I baptized his child in my church in Baghdad. This little boy, they named him after me – he was called Andrew,” he said at the time.

The report said it happened in the Christian village of Qaraqosh after Kurdish forces left and ISIS fighters arrived.

A Catholic.org report quoted a source, Mark Arabo, a Chaldean-American businessman, confirming the beheading of children by ISIS fighters, who then “put their heads on a stick and have them in the park.”

“The world hasn’t seen this kind of atrocity in generations,” he told CNN.

The report, which included images, said the terrorists “who have invaded Mosul and other ancient Christian communities in Syria and Iraq have made music videos of themselves murdering civilians and captured soldiers.”

“They are literally enjoying the act of killing and the fear and suffering experienced by others. This sadism may be the purest manifestation of evil witnessed since the Rape of Nanking during WWII.”

Jeff King, president of International Christian Concern, which had staff members traveling in Iraq, evaluated many of the reports and found them “completely consistent with who these guys are.”

“They’re absolute barbarians. We’re at a loss of words to describe who these guys are.”

He cautioned, nevertheless, that news agencies and readers always should be a little skeptical of random images posted online, because there’s likely an element of propaganda in such disputes.

Some of the recent images appeared to have been been staged, he said. But others appeared genuine.

The Anglican report quoted Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

“The horrific events in Iraq rightly call our attention and sorrow yet again. Christians and other religious minorities are being killed and face terrible suffering,” he said.

“What we are seeing in Iraq violates brutally people’s right to freedom of religion and belief, as set out under Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is extremely important that aid efforts are supported and that those who have been displaced are able to find safety. I believe that, like France, the United Kingdom’s doors should be open to refugees, as they have been throughout history.”

The Catholic.org report, which included images, said ISIS terrorists “have begun their promised killing of Christians in Mosul, and they have started with the children.”

“Several images have emerged of Christian children beheaded by ISIS, merely for being Christian,” the report said.
The report said the Muslim fighters crucified victims “because to them crucifixion is especially humiliating due to its Christian implications.”

The images show children lying in rocky fields where they died, a woman whose throat was cut and the decapitated bodies of children.

A Gospel Coalition “Factchecker” is warning that one of the images reportedly goes back to 2013 when it was claimed she was a Muslim Syrian girl named Fatima Meghlaj who was decapitated when Syrian forces shelled her home.

“ISIS is an organization that has committed heinous acts of violence and violated the human rights of many of our fellow believers,” the organization said. “But we must not partake in the spreading of lies, even if it is against our enemies.”

The report continued: “While it is possible that children are being beheaded by ISIS in Iraq, there is currently no credible evidence to support that claim. We should pray this report turn[s] out to be just rumor and that whatever other crimes are being committed, that God is sparing the children of Iraq from ‘systematic beheading.’”

Bishop Julian Dobbs of Barnabas Aid told WND he’s heard accounts of “atrocities against all Christians, adult and children.”

“This is a disaster of almost unparalleled proportions for Christians,” he said.

The Catholic.org report said the images and videos are made and distributed “to intimidate others.” One showed blood gushing from a woman whose throat was slit. Another was of a “distraught father in Syria” holding the body of his decapitated daughter, who was executed because she was of a Christian family.

WARNING: Following are extremely graphic images, purportedly of atrocities against children by jihadist fighters. Please exercise extreme caution.

WND columnist Les Kinsolving has noted the beheadings of captured Western adults and has suggested a solution.

“What would surely seem more effective … would be an Obama announcement that he had ordered Navy SEALs and Army Special Forces to engage in campaigns of mass capture of ISIS and other Muslim murderers of our troops.

Then, with massive capture, an order could be given to execute five to 10 of these Muslim killers for every one of American forces and allies who are beheaded,” he wrote.

WND columnist Jerry Newcombe joined the conversation, writing: “I saw a photograph that makes me sick. It is the corpse of a little girl, about 10 years old, wearing a dress and tights. She lies sprawled on the floor with her arms outstretched. For a presumably poor girl, she looks like she’s dressed in her Sunday best.

“This photo makes you sick. It’s right out of a horror movie. Something within you dies when you look at it,” he continued. “How could you kill a child? And more importantly, how could you do so in the name of God? As of this writing, Christians continue to be killed in Iraq simply because they won’t convert to Islam. It is convert, flee, or die.”

I guaran-God-Damn-tee you if I were President, for every hostage they killed, a city would fall. You should NOT get away with murdering Americans or children (regardless of their country of origin) indiscriminately as these PIGS are doing.
