    Default Big Bang Theory

This is the only TV show I have watched with any regularity in about 7 or 8 years now. Well, that and Firefly.

Of course, I watch both of those series in about a 5 day marathon. Once I started, we didn't stop until we got through all the shows.

Anyway... I consider those two shows the ONLY thing that has been worth watching on television for years and years now.

Contract Negotiations Stall Big Bang Theory Production

Production for the hit series, now in its eighth season, was slated to begin Wednesday

Production for the upcoming season of The Big Bang Theory has been postponed due to contract negotiations, Warner Bros. Television said Wednesday.

The nerdsploitation comedy series has consistently garnered high ratings for CBS, and has received Emmy love for star Jim Parsons and series regular Mayim Bialik. According to The Wrap, the actors who were still negotiating their contracts were Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco. Warner Bros.
would not comment past their statement announcing the production’s postponement.

The Wrap reports that network executives were confident contract negotiations would pan out during the Television Critics Association press tour earlier in July. No word yet about how this will affect the show’s scheduled return Sept. 22.

Perhaps Wil Wheaton is to blame.

I've never watched it. I know a lot of people do and really like it though.

I enjoy Big Bang Theory, lots of people think its stupid.

You cannot pick it up in a later season and expect to understand the inside jokes, which is why I suspect a lot of people think its stupid.

Blossom is totally awesome in it. She plays such a great role.

"Howard!" It was one word but it conveyed so much when Carol Ann Susi yelled it.

The actress, who played Mrs. Wolowitz on the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, died on Tuesday after a brief battle with an aggressive cancer. She was 62.

While viewers never saw her face on the show, Susi was nevertheless a strong presence, giving a loud voice to Howard's (Simon Helberg) larger-than-life, domineering mother.

"The Big Bang Theory family has lost a beloved member today with the passing of Carol Ann Susi," Warner Bros. and the show's producers, Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro and Bill Prady, said in a statement. "Unseen by viewers, the Mrs. Wolowitz character became a bit of a mystery throughout the show's eight seasons. What was not a mystery, however, was Carol Ann's immense talent and comedic timing, which were on display during each unforgettable appearance."

"In addition to her talent, Carol Ann was a constant source of joy and kindness to all," the statement continued. "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her family during this time, and we will miss her greatly."

Seinfeld fans will remember New York-born Susi as the daughter of an unemployment officer who went out on a horrible date with George (Jason Alexander). She also guest-starred in Cheers, Doogie Howser, M.D., Grey's Anatomy, Married … with Children and That '70s Show.

Susi is survived by her brother, Michael Susi, and his wife, Connie.

"My heart is broken," her Big Bang Theory costar Kunal Nayyar Tweeted on Tuesday night. "I will miss your smile. Your spirit is forever with us."

I only got to talk with Carol Ann a few times, but she was so kind, and so talented, and so incredibly funny. We lost a good person today.

Aww, that's a bummer. She comes across as such a harpy, lol.
