I'm really disappointed to see Person Of Interest get cancelled. On the cancelled list, it was my hands down favorite. It wasn't too surprising though. There was a big delay in the start of this season and, from the action they had, I'm guessing the episodes had to be expensive to make. Really liked it though...
Knew Hannibal was cancelled a while back. Really well done show that had a lot of people confused as to why it was cancelled. Liked it just as much as PoI.
Also disappointed to see Defiance and Minority Report get cancelled. Liked both of those pretty well. Had a feeling Minority Report was going to be short lived because it was SciFi on Fox (pretty sure I even called that in the thread I started on it a wihle ago).
Some others I liked pretty well but won't be torn up over were You, Me and the Apocalypse, Legends, Manhattan, Public Morals, and Agent Carter. I thought those were all pretty entertaining, especially Legends and Public Morals.
The Bastard Executioner will not be missed at all. I gave it a shot because Sons Of Anarchy was pretty good and Kurt Sutter who did SoA was behind it but I barely made it through the first episode and never turned it on again. Didn't even realize it was still around to be cancelled. Thought it had just quietly been pulled after a few eps.
Also watched Blood & Oil since Don Johnson was in it. The show wasn't as unwatchable as TBE but it was totally forgetable. Don Johnson was still entertaining and, India de Beaufort and Amber Valletta were some nice eye candy in the show though. Other than that, meh.
Very glad to see Hawaii 5-0, Blue Bloods, and Elementary weren't on the list. There was some question about all of those before their recent seasons started. H50 and BB are in the Friday Night Death Slot, and Elementary since they moved that to Sundays. Also glad to see Scorpion getting renewed. Sometimes the plots are a bit but I think it's a fun show and it, unlike most shows on TV, celebrates intelligence! It also had one of the best scenes on recent TV in S02E11 where Walter confronts the acting troupe on their trigger words and microaggressions! If I can find a clip, I'll add it.
Seeing ABC's lists, I'm actually surprised at how little of their content I watch and how much is now gone. With Castle, Agent Carter (which was limited season length to begin with), and Blood & Oil getting cancelled they've cancelled 3/4 of what I watch on their network with only Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. remaining.
A bit surprised to see NCIS on the renewed list but I don't see it going on too much longer. They lost Cote de Pablo on the cast recently and are losing Michael Weatherly at the end of this season. It's also had a huge 14 season run so far. Don't watch the other spin-offs...
Also glad to see Blacklist and Blindspot getting renewed on NBC's list. Blacklist was not too surprising considering it seems to be pretty highly rated. There was some question about Blindspot earlier though. More than a bit surprised to see Shades Of Blue on the renewed list. It seemed like it started off a little weak but has picked up. A decent show now. Figured they'd have given it the axe.
Definitely glad to see the list of shows Fox is keeping like Gotham, Lucifer, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Last Man On Earth. Gotham is masterful! Not much more needs said. Lucifer I was extremely skeptical about before it aired but has really hooked me. Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Last Man On Earth are a couple of the funniest shows on TV right now!
