NSA whistleblower William Binney told Tucker Carlson on Friday that the NSA is spying on "all the members of the Supreme Court, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Congress, both House and Senate, as well as the White House."

Binney, who served the NSA for 30 years before blowing the whistle on domestic spying in 2001, told Tucker he firmly believes that Trump was spied on.

"They're taking in fundamentally the entire fiber network inside the United States and collecting all that data and storing it, in a program they call Stellar Wind," Binney said.

"That's the domestic collection of data on US citizens, US citizens to other US citizens," he said. "Everything we're doing, phone calls, emails and then financial transactions, credit cards, things like that, all of it."

"Inside NSA there are a set of people who are -- and we got this from another NSA whistleblower who witnessed some of this -- they're inside there, they are targeting and looking at all the members of the Supreme Court, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Congress, both House and Senate, as well as the White House," Binney said.

"And all this data is inside the NSA in a small group where they're looking at it. The idea is to see what people in power over you are going to -- what they think, what they think you should be doing or planning to do to you, your budget, or whatever so you can try to counteract before it actually happens," he said.

"I mean, that's just East German," Tucker responded.

Rather than help prevent terrorist attacks, Binney said collecting so much information actually makes stopping attacks more difficult.

"This bulk acquisition is inhibiting their ability to detect terrorist threats in advance so they can't stop them so people get killed as a result," he said.

"Which means, you know, they pick up the pieces and blood after the attack. That's what's been going on. I mean they've consistently failed. When Alexander said they'd stop 54 attacks and he was challenged to produce the evidence to prove that he failed on every count."

Binney concludes ominously indicating the origin of the deep state...

"They are like the praetorian guard, they determine what the emperor does and who the emperor is..."

Huffington Post Deletes Embarrassing Piece Calling For Trump Supporters’ ‘Podunk Towns’ To Be Destroyed by Nuclear Weapons

Huffington Post published (and later deleted, following complaints) an article declaring that Donald Trump voters deserve to have their “Podunk towns” annihilated in nuclear fire.

Oakland-based artist and blogger Chris Cali wrote an article entitled “Trump Supporters Deserve to Die More Than I Do” to express his outrage at Trump’s recent use of the largest non-nuclear bomb, dubbed the “Mother of All Bombs,” fearing it would bring America to the brink of war with North Korea. He communicated his anger with a fantasy about the suffering and deaths of Trump supporters.

In his now-deleted piece (archived here, and first reported by Free Beacon), Cali speculated on whether President Trump personally profited from the use of the MOAB, and threatened that the President’s actions were enough to provoke North Korea into engaging in nuclear war.

“The thought of a world in which mentally unstable dictators are hurling nuclear warheads at one another is pretty terrifying, especially if you’re a person like me, who lives in a major U.S. city,” wrote the author.

“San Francisco might not be at the top of the target list, but I’m betting it’s higher up than some s***hole town in Nebraska,” continued Cali. “In fact, the majority of states where Trump supporters continue to wear their red ‘MAGA’ caps and give a solid thumbs up to the putrid dumpster fire of an administration he’s been running so far don’t contain a single town where a ‘radical Islamic terrorist’ would even stop to take a s*** in a Walmart bathroom, let alone one that a crazed N. Korean leader would want to nuke into oblivion.”

The author even had words for Florida, stating it was “long overdue for a disaster to sink it into the ocean.”

“The fact that the first Americans to be vaporized or poisoned with radiation in the coming nuclear war will be the ones who tried to stop this crazy train from leaving the station just seems kind of…unfair,” Cali declared.

A portion of the article is replete with various indictments against Trump. It includes unproven claims (he calls them “crimes”) revolving around sexual assault and the rape of a child, referencing some of the lawsuits the President currently faces.

As for Trump’s supporters, Cali vehemently disagreed with liberals who call for compassion towards the working-class voters who support Trump.

“They want you to know how much they hate immigrants and Blacks and Jews and gays and women and trans people in public bathrooms,” wrote Cali furiously. “They want to gloat that this is ‘Trump’s America’ now while wearing a Pepe the Frog t-shirt and that they can’t wait to see you deported or dead.”

“So sorry not sorry, but the ones who actually deserve to have a nuke dropped on them first are the ones who voted to get us all into this mess. They’re the ones who would have brought it on themselves if their health care was taken away and they dropped dead from their pre-existing conditions,” he added.

“If a bunch of these hypocrites who chanted ‘lock her up’ overdose on Oxy and decimate their Podunk towns, honestly, the human species will be better off without them. It’ s practically Darwinian,” wrote Cali with finality. “These are the people who deserve to have their towns annihilated.”

A new document, titled “Democracy Matters: Strategic Plan for Action”, was discovered recently that reveals a liberal coalition of business entities and groups and their plans to influence the media and the general public for the 2017-2020 period featuring everything from Russian-conspiracy jargon to anti-Trump dictums.

The four entities are as follows: Media Matters for America, American Bridge, CREW, and Shareblue. Each has their own strategic plan.

In the “Introduction” the group states:

“In the next four years, Media Matters will continue its core mission of disarming right-wing misinformation, while leading the fight against the next generation of conservative disinformation: The proliferation of fake news and propaganda now threatening the country’s information ecosystem.”

It goes on to outline how CREW and Shareblue plan to be part of the influence campaign through social media and their own networks. The following image illustrates the plan:



In the document, the group claims that they will push the Russia narrative forward, they assert that they will steal the best talent from the other left-wing outlets and consolidate them into Shareblue (they will convince “top editorial and writing talent [to] leave competitors to join Shareblue”), they propose a paid “Twitter-like” social network for the “opposition” to collude, they discuss their “Antidote to Breitbart” and their goal of controlling platforms like Google and Facebook, and they also mention a “Trump War Room” and their goal of keeping President Trump “unpopular” and how they are actively trying to portray President Trump as a “weak, think-skinned [sic] ‘loser’ vulnerable to goading”. In all, this is a comprehensive three-year game plan that the left hopes to implement to great effect in their effort to win votes in 2018 and take the White House in 2020.

Considering that the document in question mentions the “transition” of the Trump administration, it is safe to say that this document was prepared prior to Trump actually taking office, but after he had won the election in October. It is still unclear the precise date of the document.

George Soros-Tied Activists Behind Campaign to Impeach Trump

One need not look too deeply to discover the two groups behind the movement to impeach Donald Trump are tied to billionaire George Soros, while the organization that just filed a lawsuit challenging the Constitutionality of Trump’s presidency is financed by Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

On Monday, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a lawsuit claiming that Trump is in violation of a Constitutional clause banning government officials from accepting benefits from foreign nations.

Politico reported:

The suit, backed by several prominent Constitutional scholars, claims that Trump’s business dealings with foreign countries who rent space in his buildings or lend money to his real estate ventures run afoul of the foreign emoluments clause.

“President Trump has made his slogan ‘America First,’” CREW’s Noah Bookbinder said in a statement. “So you would think he would want to strictly follow the Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause, since it was written to ensure our government officials are thinking of Americans first, and not foreign governments.”

CREW describes itself as an organization that utilizes “high-impact legal actions to target government officials who sacrifice the common good to special interests.”

CREW, which does not publicize its donor list, has received financing from Soros’s Open Society Foundations. According to Discover the Networks, CREW has also been funded by the Soros-financed Tides Foundation.

In August 2014, longtime Hillary Clinton ally David Brock, founder of the heavily Soros-financed Media Matters for America progressive group, was elected chairman of CREW’s board.

Brock departed the organization last December, but Politico reported over the weekend that CREW is part of a network of groups for which the activist is attempting to raise $40 million to take on Trump.

Politico reported from a fundraiser Saturday in Aventura, Florida:

The constellation of political groups in Democratic strategist David Brock’s network are aiming to raise roughly $40 million in 2017, the Clinton antagonist-turned-top ally told roughly 120 donors gathered here on Saturday.

…Brock’s groups include Media Matters, a liberal news media watchdog; ShareBlue, a liberal news site; American Bridge, the party’s primary opposition research organization; and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which carries out legal actions. CREW will be a particular locus of activity this year, according to donors briefed on the plans.

Meanwhile, a campaign to impeach Trump officially kicked off as soon as the billionaire was sworn in last Friday. The movement’s centralized hub is the ImpeachDonaldTrumpNow.org website, which documents that it is being led by by two liberal advocacy groups – Free Speech for People and RootsAction.

The Washington Post reported on the two group’s effort:

The organizers behind the campaign, Free Speech for People and RootsAction, are hinging their case on Trump’s insistence on maintaining ownership of his luxury hotel and golf course business while in office. Ethics experts have warned that his financial holdings could potentially lead to constitutional violations and undermine public faith in his decision-making.

“If we were to wait for all the ill effects that could come from this, too much damage to our democracy would occur,” said Ron Fein, legal director at Free Speech for People. “It will undermine faith in basic institutions. If nothing else, it’s important for Americans to trust that the president is doing what he thinks is the right thing … not that it would help jump-start a stalled casino project in another country.”

A closer look at the two groups leading the impeachment campaign is instructive.

Attorney and activist John Bonifaz is the co-founder and president of Free Speech for People.

Bonifaz is the founder of the National Voting Rights Institute (NVRI), where he also served as general counsel and executive director.

The NRVI’s website documents it is the recipient of “generous foundation and institutional support” from 24 past and present grantors, including Soros’s Open Society Institute.

The NRVI is also funded by the Soros-funded Tides Foundation, and the Joyce Foundation, which has partnered with the Open Society Foundations on numerous projects. Former President Obama served as a paid board member of the Joyce Foundation for eight years from 1994 to 2002. Joyce has also been a prominent donor to the Soros-funded Media Matters For America progressive activist group.

Lance Lindblom, a director at the Free Speech for People group behind the impeachment campaign, previously served as Executive Vice President at Soros Foundation’s Open Society Institute/Open Society Fund, his bio relates.

And Jeff Clements, Co-Founder and General Counsel for Free Speech for People, popped up in a leaked Open Society Foundations document as attending the Soros-funded group’s U.S. Programs Board Meeting and Retreat February 23-24, 2011. Bonifaz was also in attendance at the retreat, at which Soros himself provided opening remarks.

The other group behind the Trump impeachment campaign, RootsAction, is led by a small team that includes its co-founder Norman Solomon. Solomon also founded the Institute for Public Accuracy, which, Discover The Networks reports, is funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

Recently a flood of “fake news” stories have been brought to light. Fake news is not just a term used for bald-face lying — blatant deception and editing also falls under this category.

Megyn Kelly recently had the chance to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin. When NBC aired the interview, they edited out a CRUCIAL part where Putin makes a remark about the Flynn investigation. Putin states that Kelly should be put in jail for talking to him if journalistic standards regarding Flynn’s “ties” to Russia were ACTUALLY upheld.

NBC apparently didn’t want that clip to see the light of day because it made them look foolish. What we see here is CLEAR deception by the mainstream media. Instead of reporting fairly, they are bending, twisting, and, in this case, erasing words to make themselves look more credible.

Someone looked at the clip and decided to edit that part out. Surely it was a huge part of the interview that we ALL needed to see, but the MSM didn’t care.

A line has been drawn in the sand. The media is out to further the agenda of their sponsors, as opposed to actually doing their jobs. We SHOULD NOT have to settle for this “fake news.”

It is interesting that the Left seems to be SO caught up in the ties between Russia, Trump, and Flynn — yet they fail to see that they are doing EXACTLY what they are claiming Trump is doing. You do not get a free pass to do whatever you want because you are the media.

We have always heard that the media is supposed to be the fabled Fourth Estate; an ipso facto fourth branch of government that keeps everyone else in check. If there is any truth left to this, that last limb has snapped off from the tree.

How did we end up in a situation where we are being lied to on a daily basis? If the news is willing to make significant edits like this to their interviews, then this is just the tip of the iceberg. The American people were only allowed to see the truth because Russian media also reported this story, but THEY showed the edited clip.

Our media is SO watered down by bias that we have to get the facts from the news media in other countries. Is this really what we have become? What happened to credibility in journalism? There are no more standards; it is just a free-for-all of lying and deception.

The interview did have some other moments where Putin put Kelly on the spot. At one point she was rambling, and he came back by asking her if she (and the rest of the media) “have anything better to do.” Kelly fumbled her words, knowing in her heart that he was correct.

It is ABOUT TIME that the media gets called out on their nonsense. We don’t have time for their lies anymore! If you hear someone spreading “fake news,” remember, put them in their place with FACTS. Liberals hate facts.

Special counsel is investigating Trump for possible obstruction of justice, officials say

The special counsel overseeing the investigation into Russia’s role in the 2016 election is interviewing senior intelligence officials as part of a widening probe that now includes an examination of whether President Trump attempted to obstruct justice, officials said. The move by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III to investigate Trump’s conduct marks a major turning point in the nearly year-old FBI investigation, which until recently focused on Russian meddling during the presidential campaign and on whether there was any coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Investigators have also been looking for any evidence of possible financial crimes among Trump associates, officials said.

Trump had received private assurances from then-FBI Director James B. Comey starting in January that he was not personally under investigation. Officials say that changed shortly after Comey’s firing.

Five people briefed on the requests, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly, said Daniel Coats, the current director of national intelligence, Mike Rogers, head of the National Security Agency, and Rogers’s recently departed deputy, Richard Ledgett, agreed to be interviewed by Mueller’s investigators as early as this week. The investigation has been cloaked in secrecy, and it is unclear how many others have been questioned by the FBI.

The NSA said in statement that it will “fully cooperate with the special counsel” and declined to comment further. The office of the director of national intelligence and Ledgett declined to comment.

Next Thursday, Washington sculptor James Kelsey will unveil Piss Trump, a giant photography piece depicting Donald Trump naked, crucified and suspended in a tank of piss.

Kelsey says it's not totally his intention for Piss Trump to be inflammatory.

"I want the unveiling to be a catharsis for us," he says. "Not another reason to express anger."

Piss Trump resembles Andres Serrano's 1987 Piss Christ, a photo of a ghostly crucifix tinted yellow by the dark urine in which its submerged. The controversy over Piss Christ was exacerbated when the work won an award that was partly funded by the tax-payer supported National Endowment for the Arts, a budget that Trump has vowed to cut.

Coincidentally, a Houston museum currently has an exhibit where they're displaying Piss Christ next to a portrait of Trump Serrano took in 2004.

An intentional reference to Serrano's work, Kelsey's piece essentially replicates the composition of Piss Christ. But of course, instead of Jesus on the cross, it's Trump, looking like a bloated and saggy troll doll. His combover sticks straight up in the air and his red tie floats away from his neck.

Kelsey has created politically neutral work for two decades. He usually creates whimsical, modernist metal sculptures for both private and public buyers.

Kelsey has been working on Piss Trump for six months. He says that even if making people angry is not his primary goal, he understands that's likely to happen.

"I'm glad they're offended," says Kelsey. "Trump was an offensive man and is now an offensive President."

"We're trying to keep the unveiling arty and classy, but we keep regressing to pee jokes," adds Kelsey. "We do want yellow and orange to be the [clothing] color of choice of those attending."

Ted Lieu (D-CA) told MSNBC Friday. “And if President Trump were to fire Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, and then [get] special counsel Mueller fired, I believe Congress would begin impeachment proceedings.”

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) echoed Lieu’s sentiments, saying that Congress would come together to make sure they overrule Trump’s authority on the matter.

“Congress will not allow the president to so egregiously overstep his authority,” Schiff said in a statement.

“If President Trump were to try to replicate [former President Richard] Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre by firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in addition to Mueller, Congress must unite to stop him–without respect to party, and for the sake of the nation,” he added.

Trump claimed on Twitter that he was “being investigated” for his decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey, insinuating that “the man who told [him] to fire the FBI Director” is also the one investigating him, referencing the deputy attorney general. He concluded the tweet by saying that the investigation is a “witch hunt” against him:

“The message the president is sending through his tweets is that he believes the rule of law doesn’t apply to him and that anyone who thinks otherwise will be fired. That’s undemocratic on its face and a blatant violation of the president’s oath of office,” Feinstein said in a statement.

Warren to Trump: 'Donald, you ain't seen nasty yet'

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has a warning for President Trump: “Donald, you ain’t seen nasty yet.”

Warren read aloud from her new book “This Fight is Our Fight: The Battle to Save America’s Middle Class” and took questions at a town hall event in New York Friday, HuffPost reported.

Warren blasted Trump for his economic policies, saying they are hurting the middle-class Americans who voted for him.

“What Donald Trump and the Republican majority in the House and the Senate want to do to us, is they want to deliver the knockout blow to the middle class,” she said.

She also hit him on women's rights, saying that "women's rights are not up for grabs" during the reading.

“The character of a nation is not the character of its president,” Warren said. “The character of a nation is the character of its people.”

Antifa Website Encourages ‘All Manner of Physical Violence’ Against Trump Supporters and Capitalists

The Antifa website It’s Going Down has become the de facto resource for anarchists and “anti-fascist” activists currently engaging in sporadic street battles across the United States against Trump supporters and the government. The site calls for violence against capitalists and anyone it labels a “fascist.”

It features posters for self-identified anarchists that call for Trump supporters to be stabbed. A poster published in April shows the silhouette of a man with a Make America Great Again hat and a Pepe the Frog lapel pin being cornered by a bayonet. Behind him is the transparent silhouette of a Nazi.

Other publications include burning the Canadian flag ahead of the country’s 150th anniversary, and an introduction to anarchism that perfectly describes the victim complex most of the leftist ideology’s followers live with.

Much like the posters urging violence againstTrump’s supporters, It’s Going Down justifies violent actions in many of its publications as not only good but necessary to the survival of minorities and the disenfranchised.



A library of downloadable publications on the website offers long-form articles that call for “insurrectionary mass resistance and refusal” and asks moderate liberals to join arms with the far left. One describes liberal allies as “accomplices” to capitalists. A piece titled Work, Community, Politics, War suggests that anarchists “are imposing our needs on society without debate” and urge militant tactics against employers and law enforcement.

As with any group of social justice warriors, the Antifa website also offers a variety of publications on “gender and patriarchy,” including one called Toward the Queerest Insurrection, which describes being queer as “the cohesion of everything in conflict with the heterosexual capitalist world.” Another, titled Dangerous Spaces, offers fictional revenge stories against homophobes and rapists. It is “a violence that liberates.” It opens with a note: “Much of the content in this zine may be triggering.”

You can’t make this up.

Do you remember when Rep. Nunes found out some information about the unmasking of key Trump personnel during and after the elections, which tossed former National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, on the barbie?


It was believed that Rice had some vital information that could shed some light on who Obama was spying on and why. The fact that Trump was, in fact, unmasked raised questions as to the veracity of the ‘incidental’ intelligence claims. Well, if you were hoping for Susan Rice to pay for her sins, exposing Obama to potential criminal charges for spying on Trump — too bad ****ers — that’s not going to happen.


See, the information is now locked up in the Obamas library and will not be released for another 5 years. Why is this the case? No one really knows, other than the fact that it’s in there and it is impossible to get out.


Judicial Watch is going ape**** over this.

“Documents from the Obama administration have been transferred to the Barack Obama Presidential Library. You may send your request to the Obama Library,” Powers wrote. “However, you should be aware that under the Presidential Records Act, presidential records remain closed to the public for five years after an administration has left office.”

Judicial Watch’s FOIA request sought to obtain documents related to Rice’s communications with intelligence officials on a range of issues, including any efforts by the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election and the hacking of Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign computer systems.


“Judicial Watch has filed six FOIA lawsuits related to the surveillance, unmasking, and illegal leaking targeting President Trump and his associates,” the watchdog group said.


Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said he is considering other legal options to obtain the records.


“Prosecutors, Congress, and the public will want to know when the National Security Council shipped off the records about potential intelligence abuses by Susan Rice and others in the Obama White House to the memory hole of the Obama Presidential Library,” Fitton said.


“We are considering our legal options but we hope that the Special Counsel and Congress also consider their options and get these records,” he added.

Maxine Waters bars Trump supporters from town hall meeting

Supporters of President Trump were hoping to be a part of Maxine Waters’ town hall meeting in Gardena on Saturday, but they were barred from entering the building.

The Trump supporters received tickets for the event, but were treated as “second class citizens” because they supposedly did not live in her district.



Video from outside the venue shows about 50 Trump supporters waving American flags and Trump banners and chanting, “Let us in!” as they noted that Waters doesn’t live in her own district, either.

Police blocked the doors and prevented them from entering.

The non-constituents were identified with yellow wrist bands.

“The yellow wrist band means that you are branded that you cannot go in the building,” one woman said.

“You are forced to sit outside, even though we registered,” she added.

As the Trump supporters tried in vain to enter the building, Waters could be heard over loud speakers.

It appeared Waters cherry picked a friendly audience so she wouldn’t be challenged over ridiculously partisan stunts at the official event, like chanting “Impeach 45,” referring to Trump.

The LA Times reports:

Inside, chants of “USA! USA!” could be heard from around 80 protesters who paced back and forth outside the venue.

Waters’ opponents were dressed in pro-Trump garb and called her “Dirty Waters.”

Chanell Temple said she lost her job a few years ago and hasn’t been able to find a new one because she doesn’t speak Spanish. She said Waters has destroyed the black community by supporting immigrants.

We need a special prosecutor to look into whether Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) is guilty of colluding with the Russians. I don’t like it, but these are their rules. Any meeting or interactions with the Russians is inappropriate. It’s treason—and the fact that she lied about it makes the collusion allegation sound more damning. Of course, this is all crap, but that’s how Democrats sound every time Russia and Trump are the topic of discussion. As if some sort of widespread Manchurian Candidate-style operation was devised within the halls of the Kremlin. There is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Every time there’s been an update, such as more undisclosed meetings, there’s always that seventh or eighth paragraph of the story that states nothing about such rendezvous points to any wrongdoing or collusion. What we do know about Sen. McCaskill is that she lied about meeting the Russian ambassador.

Let’s circle back to Katie’s post, where the Missouri Democrats said that she’s never met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during her 10-year tenure on the Senate Armed Services Committee. That quickly turned into a blast of buckshot to the face when a she tweeted in 2013, that she was off to meet with the Russian ambassador. Now, CNN, who didn't screw this story up for once, has found that the senator attended a black tie event at Kislyak’s D.C. residence:

"CNN has learned McCaskill spent an evening at a black-tie reception at the ambassador's Washington residence in November 2015.

McCaskill was photographed at the event, honoring former Democratic Rep. James Symington, who hails from her state of Missouri and worked to promote US-Russia relations.

In an interview, McCaskill acknowledged attending the dinner, but she said she only did so because of her long-standing relationship with Symington, whom she said "kind of got me started in politics." She claimed the 140-character limit on Twitter did not let her clarify that she never met "one-on-one" with the Russian ambassador, and added she "did not" speak with Kislyak at the reception."


Yeah, it’s still not what Democrats would deem acceptable if you were a Republican, Ms. McCaskill. The Russian hysteria that’s engulfed the Democratic Party is bordering on Russophobia, with noted progressives, like The Nation’s Katrina Vanden Huevel, describing it as “neo-McCarthyite” in nature. In the eyes of the New York Times’ editorial board, McCaskill attendance would be deemed “nefarious.” But, alas—she’s a Democrat so no harm done. If this were Attorney General Jeff Sessions in question, he would gotten the electric chair.

Two Dozen Democrats Get Behind Bill To Lay Foundation For Removing Trump For Being Mentally 'Incapacitated' (But They'd Need Mike Pence To Agree)

A Democratic congressman has proposed convening a special committee of psychiatrists and other doctors whose job would be to determine if President Donald Trump is fit to serve in the Oval Office.

Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, who also teaches constitutional law at American University, has predictably failed to attract any Republicans to his banner.

But the U.S. Constitution's 25th Amendment does allow for a majority of the president's cabinet, or 'such other body as Congress may by law provide,' to decide if an Oval Office occupant is unable to carry out his duties – and then to put it to a full congressional vote.

Vice President Mike Pence would also have to agree, which could slow down the process – or speed it up if he wanted the levers of power for himself.

The 25th Amendment has been around since shortly after the John F. Kennedy assassination, but Congress has never formed its own committee in case it's needed to judge a president's mental health.

Raskin's bill would allow the four Republican and Democratic leaders of the House and Senate to each choose a psychiatrist and another doctor. Then each party would add a former statesman – like a retired president or vice president.

The final group of 10 would meet and choose an 11th member, who would become the committee's chairman.

Once the group is officially seated, the House and Senate could direct it through a joint resolution to conduct an actual examination of the president 'to determine whether the president is incapacitated, either mentally or physically,' according to the Raskin bill.

And if the president refuses to participate, the bill dictates, that 'shall be taken into consideration by the commission in reaching a conclusion.'

Under the 25th Amendment, such a committee – or the president's cabinet – can notify Congress in writing that a sitting president is unfit. In either case the vice president must concur, and he would immediately become 'acting president.'

Presidents have voluntarily transferred their powers to vice presidents in the past, including when they are put under anesthesia for medical procedures.

In the case of Raskin's plan, the Constitution holds that both houses of Congress would hold a vote within three weeks.

If two-thirds majorities in the House and Senate agreed that the president couldn't discharge his duties, he would be dismissed.

Raskin's plan could have a fatal flaw, however: Legal scholars tend to agree that when the Constitution's framers first provided for the replacement of a president with an 'inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the Office,' they weren't talking about mere eccentricities.

And when the 25th Amendment was sent to the states for ratification in 1965, the Senate agreed that 'inability' meant that a president was 'unable to make or communicate his decisions' and suffered from a 'mental debility' rendering him 'unable or unwilling to make any rational decision.'

So far two dozen members of the House, all Democrats, have signed on to cosponsor the bill.

Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, a far-left liberal Democrat, claimed Friday in a Fox Business Channel interview that Congress can remove 'incompetent' presidents.

'The 25th Amendment is utilized when a president is perceived to be incompetent or unable to do his or her job,' she said.

Raskin has made no bones about the fact that his intentions are specific to President Trump.

'Trump's mental incapacity is no laughing matter,' he tweeted last month. '#25thAmendment gives us a way to deal with this problem.'

Raskin summed up his reasoning for Yahoo News on Friday: 'In case of emergency, break glass.'

'I assume every human being is allowed one or two errant and seemingly deranged tweets,' he said.

'The question is whether you have a sustained pattern of behavior that indicates something is seriously wrong.'

Also on Friday, MSNBC co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski authored an op-ed in The Washington Post whose headline argued 'Donald Trump is not well.'

The pair were responding to a widely criticized tweet in which Trump complained about their behavoior around the New Year and alleged that Brzezinski was bleeding from a bad facelift.

During a press conference on Thursday, Raskin called Trump a 'barbarian' and said: 'Something is deeply wrong at the White House.'

He called on 'whoever is in control over there' to 'pull back from this terrible situation.'

Their Object is of course to push Trump into doing anything rash to undermine himself with the political elites. The big question is that what will the American people do, when given clear proof the the elites blatant attempt to overthrow the Presidency and the Election results which they didn't like. 2016 was to be a rigged election, with Jeb Bush running for second place against Hillary Clinton, with her winning, and Sanders running Left to make Clinton look more moderate by comparison. President Trump ruined all these careful calculations by demolishing Bush in the primaries, and forcing a physically ill and unprepared Clinton to actually run a real race for the presidency, hence her losing... Blaming the Russians is just propaganda to cover up the humiliation of defeat for the Demoncrats.
