Still alive; Fidel Castro (third from left) looks frail, but very much alive during a visit with Venezuela's former vice president Elias Jaua (center).

Fidel Castro made his first public appearance in months Saturday, knocking down rumors that he was near death.

The aging Cuban revolutionary met with former Venezuelan vice president Elias Jaua, who produced photos of the five-hour encounter.

The 86-year-old former president then brought Jaua back to Havana’s Hotel Nacional, where he was staying, and stayed to chat with hotel staff.

“Fidel Castro was here yesterday, he brought a guest and spoke to workers and hotel leaders for 30 minutes,” said hotel commercial director Yamila Fuster. “They told me he looked very good. He was wearing a checked shirt and a hat.”

Online rumors have been flying that Castro was on the brink of death. A Venezuelan doctor claimed last week he had suffered a stroke, and rumors were stoked after he didn’t publicly congratulate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on his victory in the Oct. 7 election.
He last appeared publicly in March, when he met Pope Benedict XVI.

Castro handed over power to his brother Raul in 2006, but has outlasted generations of American leaders who have sought to oust him. Monday marks the 50th anniversary of the speech to the nation by President John F. Kennedy revealing the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Rumors Abound that Fidel Castro is Dead

October 11, 2012 | Posted by Nick Chiles

    Fidel in 2011

Once again, Twitter killed off a major international figure—this time Fidel Castro.

The Twitterverse exploded yesterday with news that the famous Cuban leader had passed away, but the news was never confirmed, meaning that it’s just idle rumor and gossip at this point.

But with Castro, it transcends Twitter. Long before Twitter was even a twinkle in its inventor’s eyes (who is the Mark Zuckerberg of Twitter anyway?), the world was killing off Castro. It’s a day for which entire swaths of the Cuban-American population has been yearning for years, decades even. They are desperate for the demise of the man who used revolution to turn their beloved country into a Communist regime.

Of course the obsessive focus on the views of Cuban Americans sometimes obscures the fact that Castro, now 86, has a great deal of support in his own country and even among some Americans. But he has been a despised figure by the U.S. government for nearly five decades.

For the past six years, Cuba has been led by Fidel’s brother Raul Castro, which sparked endless stories about the state of Fidel’s health, since he was willing to relinquish power.

The Twitter obsession with Castro’s death this time was launched by a Miami blogger, Alberto Muller, speculating about Fidel’s declining health, according to California radio station KPCC. Muller wrote in Spanish about Castro’s declining health and dementia and that he no longer had the ability to walk, talk or breathe on his own.

The rumor mill swung into overdrive when the Havana Times asked “Where is Cuba’s Fidel Castro?” in a headline, questioning his health after he failed to congratulate his close ally Hugo Chavez when he won re-election as president of Venezuela on Sunday.

“As the mentor of Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, it was expected that the first congratulations to him for winning a new term in office on Sunday would have come from Fidel,” the Times story said. “Instead, Raul Castro congratulated Chavez and not a word from his older brother. Such silence is beginning to provoke speculation on Fidel’s health. ”

That was all the provocation the Twitterverse needed to go into overdrive. Many tweets compared Fidel to Kenny, a character on South Park who is always the subject of death rumors.

Fidel Castro, 87, makes rare public appearance

(Reuters) - Former Cuban President Fidel Castro made a surprise appearance on Wednesday evening at the opening of a Havana cultural center sponsored by one of his favorite Cuban artists.

State television on Thursday broadcast images of Castro arriving at the cultural center in a blue van, to the applause of local residents.

The bearded, grey haired Cuban leader, 87, was also shown sitting and chatting with Alexis Leyva, the painter and sculptor known as Kcho, and others attending the opening.

A witness, who asked not to be identified, told Reuters a stooped Castro arrived in the evening and entered the building with the help of aides and a cane, after briefly talking with well wishers in the Playa municipality of Havana.

The reclusive Castro was last seen in public in April 2013 at the inauguration of a school in Havana.

Castro lives in a villa on the outskirts of Havana where he regularly receives guests, but photos are rare and only occasionally do his writings appear in the local media.
He is reportedly still lucid and curious.

Castro governed the Caribbean island for 48 years before falling gravely ill in 2006 and handing power to his brother Raul Castro, who officially became president in 2008.

Cuba's former President Fidel Castro has appeared in public for the first time in nine months.

Mr Castro, 87, attended the opening of an art studio in the capital, Havana, on Wednesday night.

Pictures released on Thursday showed a frail-looking Mr Castro walking with a stick and looking at works of art.

Fidel Castro led Cuba for nearly half a century before handing over power to his brother, Raul, in 2006 because of ill health.

Fidel has kept a low public profile, with sporadic appearances, ever since.

The last time he appeared in public was on 9 April last year, when he attended the inauguration of a Havana school.

Pictures of the former Cuban leader were last seen in December, after his private meeting with the visiting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, a key ally of Cuba.

Former Cuban president Fidel Castro appears in public in Havana

    Associated Press
    Published: 04.04.15, 21:32 / Israel News

Former longtime Cuban president Fidel Castro has appeared in public for the first time in more than a year, official media reported.

The Cubadebate website says Castro greeted a group of Venezuelans visiting the capital of Havana.
Cubadebate on Friday published four images that show Castro sitting inside a vehicle, each with a different person stretching an arm through the window to shake his hand. Castro's face is largely obscured by a dark-colored baseball cap. He sports longish gray hair and a beard.
The website said the encounter occurred Monday, but did not explain the delay in publishing the photos.

This is just an internet rumour, but I heard Nietche died eating sh_t and kursing Christ. Luther, however, pleaded for the sacraments before death. Will Fidel have a rendevous w/ God? Hugo Chavez and "che". May God bless their souls. Easter Sunday, after all. God shines down his light on living & dead, souls in purgatorio, and rains forth blessings.

Fidel Castro, Cuba's Fiery Communist Leader, Dead At 90

    November 26, 2016

Fidel Castro, the revolutionary leader who put Cuba on the world stage and made himself a world player, died on Friday, his brother Raul Castro announced on state-run television. He was 90.

The communist adversary for 10 U.S. presidents, Castro wore his trademark beard and army fatigues for nearly five decades, giving fiery speeches against what he called the evils of imperialism.

In the 1950s, Castro led the overthrow of Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. After victory in 1959, he appeared on Edward R. Murrow’s “Person to Person” - a rebel in pajamas.

“Tell me, Fidel Castro, are you concerned at all about the communist influence in Cuba?” Murrow asked.

“I no worry because really there is no threat about communism here in Cuba,” answered Castro.

Castro later executed former Batista officials and began to nationalize American-owned property.

Castro was a defiant demagogue, a dictator, a charismatic leader and, for decades, a Soviet puppet, all rolled into one, CBS News’ Pamela Falk, author of “Cuban Foreign Policy,” said. Having seized power after years of fighting from the Sierra Maestra mountains, Castro was among the longest-serving heads of state. He successfully gave Cuba outsized prominence in world affairs. He eliminated illiteracy, but failed to bring prosperity. Castro achieved a low infant mortality rate and a national health care system but at a price. He had no tolerance for dissent. Counter-revolutionaries were jailed by the thousands. He nationalized private real estate and many fled the island or were forced out.

The U.S. broke off relations and imposed a trade embargo, one that has lasted to this day, though President Obama and Raul Castro, the sitting Cuban president, restored diplomatic relations in July 2015.

By opening diplomatic relations and expanding travel opportunities for Americans in 2015, Mr. Obama hoped to put the hostility of a half-century of tense U.S.-Cuban relations aside, but there are still many hurdles: the largest one is the state of human rights under Raul Castro - who will retire in 2018 - and the position of incoming President-elect Donald Trump is still unknown, reports Falk.

In 1961, President Kennedy authorized a force of CIA-trained Cuban exiles to try to overthrow Castro. The invaders were crushed as they waded ashore at the Bay of Pigs.

Castro embraced communism and moved closer to the Soviet Union.

In 1962, the U.S. found evidence of Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba. “I have directed the armed forces to prepare for any eventuality,” President Kennedy announced.

The showdown between Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev and President Kennedy was the moment of Castro’s greatest relevance on the world stage. The nuclear clock ticked down and then stopped. The Soviets agreed to remove the missiles. In exchange, the U.S. promised not to invade Cuba.

Castro’s Cuba has been a land of contradictions. It has free medical care and its literacy rate is among the world’s highest. But political opposition is suppressed, and the economy is a disaster. Those antique cars on shabby roads became as much a symbol of Cuban life as cigars or music.

Castro’s legacy is one of five decades of isolation and revolutionary change: He had contentious relations with the U.S. and held a tight rein on his people, jailing dissidents and twice unleashing a mass exodus of Cubans to U.S. shores.

After almost five decades in power, Falk reports, few Cubans knew much about Fidel Castro’s personal life, including his seven children, many of whom remained in Cuba. They include Fidelito, Castro’s first-born son from an early marriage; Alina, his daughter from an affair during the days of the revolution who left for Miami; and the five children who lived with him and his wife, Dalia Soto del Valle, in Cuba.

Scapegoating the U.S. embargo played well within Cuba, but from a strict economic view, the failure of the economy was largely the fault of the Cuban leadership, Falk added. The seizure of private property, maintaining one of the region’s largest military forces and a centralized controlled economy were the cause of the stagnation of Cuba’s economy and the same root cause for the failure of the Soviet system.

And with the decline of the Soviet Union and its support, Cuba faced economic ruin in the ‘90s, forcing Castro to encourage tourism and foreign investment.

In 1998, Castro invited Pope John Paul II to visit Cuba and reinstated Christmas as an official holiday.

Castro once told CBS News how he would want to be remembered.

“That he was a socialist,” Castro said through an interpreter, “that Castro wanted a more egalitarian society, a society as many other men has dreamed of in the past - Jesus among them.”

In July 2006, Castro had intestinal surgery and announced a temporary transfer of power to his brother Raul. The transition became permanent as Castro’s health declined, and the fiery revolutionary faded from public view.

In March 2012, Pope Benedict XVI visited Cuba and conducted a huge public Mass. And he delivered a private message, telling Fidel Castro that his political experiment no longer corresponded to reality and that it was past time for authentic freedom to finally come ashore in Castro’s Cuba.

Today the last historic political figure of the Cold War is gone.

I* say we wait another couple of days, JUST to make certain. I heard they were going to take his ashes on a trip around the country.

I wonder why not his body, like in good commie fashion? So people can actually see him for the first time in person (Because you KNOW some of those who haven't been killed never saw the guy before).

    I hope he burns daily.

An almost ten minute excerpt from a 1982 Canadian Broadcasting Corp. documentary on the KGB. The posted section focuses on Communist Cuba's involvement in training, funding and giving orders to the Weathermen.

Much of the info comes from an interview with Larry Grathwohl, who is in the film No Place to Hide.

The CBC documentary ties the Weathermen, the Cuban government and a French-Canadian seperatist group, the FLQ.

The documentary also features an interview with an unnamed Cuban and an unnamed figure involved with the FLQ and a 1965 plot by balck radicals to bomb the Statue of Liberty.

The video was just posted today.

Grathwald says Ayers told him to go to Cuban embassy in Canada or Mexico to reconnect with Weathermen if they lost contact with the group.

FBI files from 1976, recently made public under the Freedom of Information Act, confirm the connections between Weatherman, Havana, and Moscow.

Weatherman [Weather Underground] leaders like Mark Rudd traveled illegally to Havana in 1968 to engage in terrorist training.

There, camps set up by Soviet KGB Colonel Vadim Kotchergine were educating Westerners both in Marxist philosophy and urban warfare.

Obama’s Political Career Launched By Terrorist William Ayers

Many have been digging into Barrack The Hussein Obama’s past ties to domestic terrorist William Ayers, who admitted to bombing the Pentagon in the 1970′s. Most of these Investigative Journalists have run into brick walls or strong armed resistance by those who seek to keep Obama’s relationship with Ayers silent. One such author, Stanley Kurtz, has been targeted by the Obama campaign for destruction for his investigation into the relationship.

The One’s campaign has also vigorously sought to silence an ad tying him to William Ayers, and threatened the organization that put the ad together with criminal charges by asking the Justice Department to investigate every person involved with the group and their financial records turned over to the IRS.

Where there is smoke, there is fire – and Obama has worked very hard to make sure these ties have been wiped clean so the American people do not find out who launched his political career.

As I’ve said before – Obama is a Trojan Horse.

Now the puzzle is being pieced together and perhaps the first one to get a glimpse of the real disturbing picture is Andy Martin at the Contrarian Commentary.

WILLIAM AYERS HAS BEEN THE MASTERMIND BEHIND THE RISE OF BARACK OBAMA

AYERS HAS DESIGNED AN OBAMA CAMPAIGN STRUCTURE WHICH IS BASED ON AYERS’ THEORIES OF MAOIST REVOLUTION.

    THE CHICAGO VERSION OF “FRIENDS”

OBAMA LIED TO ABC NEWS AND A NATIONAL TV AUDIENCE
(NEW YORK, NY)(September 9, 2008 ) Nailing down the relationship between “mad bomber” William Ayers and Barack Obama has been the greatest challenge of the 2008 presidential campaign.

The second biggest challenge of 2008 has been deciphering and understanding Barack Obama’s campaign structure. His campaign is unlike any other presidential campaign in U. S. history. Obama’s operation is authoritarian, disciplined and centralized in Chicago. Obama’s reliance on a nationwide network of local “offices” and mailing lists points inexorably to a political latticework straight out of William Ayers’ revolutionary playbook.

The bottom line: After an exhaustive investigation ContrarianCommentary.com can confirm that Barack Obama appears to be William Ayers’ “front” for a national, ongoing Maoist-style revolutionary campaign structure which will endure past November 4th.

Ironically, as we searched for the Ayers-Obama relationship in the present, it was staring us in the face: Obama’s campaign is structured precisely the way Ayers would want. That is why Obama has created “Camp Obamas” across the United States to indoctrinate workers, and adopted other similar Fidel Castro/Hugo Chavez tactics.

The puzzle pieces are finally starting to fall into place. Last week we asked why would Black Panther party revolutionary Khalid Al-Mansour start soliciting money for Obama’s legal education? The answer: Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, were close associates of the Black Panther Party and even unleashed a terrorist attack on a New York judge who heard a Panther case.

In the 1980′s, the Ayers/Dohrn revolutionary terror network was still working through individuals such as Al-Mansour, who had sufficiently laundered his radical past to assume respectability as a front for a Saudi Prince. The same way Ayers laundered his own past to become a professor of “education” at Illinois’ taxpayer-subsidized university.

Ayers and Al-Mansour appear to have been in contact. Ayers vouched for
Obama to Al-Mansour, who then began a law school fund-raising campaign among prominent African-Americans.

Obama’s law degree thus appears to have been financed through the encouragement of persons who had been violent revolutionaries and remain unrepentant to this day, the same unconventional way the purchase of Obama’s Chicago mansion was party financed by an Iraqi billionaire.

Why did Obama get hired as a “summer associate” in 1989 at the law firm which had hired Ayers’ wife, and where Ayers’ father was a prominent friend of the managing partner at Sidley & Austin? The answer is obvious. Ayers was grooming Obama as his future “front.”

Where did Obama get his first and only legal job after Harvard? At a law firm where Tony Rezko was a prominent client and where name partner Judson Miner was a law school classmate of Bernadine Dohrn-Ayers. Yes, the pieces are starting to come together.

Was Obama telling ABC the truth when he said met the Ayers’ at a coffee klatch at the Ayers home in 1995? Ayers had already been working with Obama for seven years; Ayers had appointed Obama to head a $50 million foundation.

Did Ayers appoint a stranger? Or a front man? The answer is obvious.

Obama has relentlessly tried to conceal the Ayers/Obama time line, and the ongoing connections between the men. When bits and pieces of the Ayers/Obama relationship have popped up this year, Obama has sought to debunk and deflate each isolated piece of information. No one was able to grasp the big picture.

Until today, no one had actually connected all of the dots.

ContrarianCommentary.com is the first to do so.

We always wondered why Obama had structured his campaign the way he did: small “offices” all across the United States. No other presidential campaign has ever done this. Bill Ayers is a proponent of locally based revolutionary tactics.

Ayers’ playbook is Mao Tse-Tung’s handbook. And Obama’s campaign structure follows Ayers’ matrix. A nationwide network of “Camp Obamas” controlled from Chicago (i.e. Ayers)? You get the picture.

Obama is not stupid. He is a bright man, very talented, very personable and, until recently, a man without much of a personal history. But there is a shiftless, searching side to Obama’s personality. Due to childhood neglect and abuse, he is a man without a conscience. He was and remains the perfect front for Ayers’ ongoing revolutionary campaign to subvert and subdue the United States of America.

It can be said without fear of contradiction, a vote for Barack Obama is in reality a vote to put William Ayers in de facto control of the U. S government.

William Ayers is an admittedly unrepentant violent revolutionary who waged war against every American and who today is still scheming to wage war against the United States. This time he wants his headquarters to be in the Oval Office of the White House.

William Ayers is the mastermind behind the rise to power of Barack Obama. He has been since 1988.

ANDY MARTIN WILL EXPLORE THIS CLAIMS IN A NEW YORK CITY NEWS CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH (TBA).
    ———————————————–
THE AYERS/OBAMA TIMELINE: (Version 1.0; a work in progress; dates are approximate)
1987 William Ayers meets Barack Obama
1988 Ayers solicits Khalid Al-Mansour to raise money for Obama’s Harvard law School education
1989 Tom Ayers and William Ayers get Obama a summer job at Sidley & Austin (where he meets Michelle Obama); Ayers’ wife Bernadine Dohrn also worked at Sidley at about the same time as Barack and Michelle.
1993 Ayers places Obama on Woods Foundation
1995 Ayers makes Obama Chairman of Annenberg Challenge
1995 Ayers hosts a coffee klatch for Obama’s political debut (Obama falsely claims this is when he met Ayers)
2007-2008 The structure of Obama’s presidential campaign increasingly comes to resemble an Ayers-designed national “community organizer matrix” straight out of Maoist theory. This is not merely a presidential “campaign.” Obama’s organization is the first installment of an ongoing movement being paid for with tax-exempt contributions to his campaign, approaching half a billion dollars.
2008Obama In response to ABC News, Obama tells a national TV audience he was “six years old” when Ayers bombed federal buildings, and they are only casual neighborhood acquaintances. A lie.

THE WEATHERMEN (will Bill Clinton's pardons come back to haunt Hillary?)

NOTE: Hillary may have a problem using Barack Obama's connection to William Ayers and the Weather Underground.

In 1985, former Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg (who also was implicated in the Nyack robbery) and Linda Evans were apprehended while transporting 740 pounds of explosives which they both acknowledged were slated for use in additional bombings. Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison, Evans 40; President Bill Clinton pardoned both women in January 2001.

    ================================================== ==================

    WEATHERMAN

    * Declared "war on Amerikkka"at its Flint War Council in 1969
    * Responsible for the deaths of police officers and the wanton destruction of public property
    * Some former members are now comfortably ensconced in University professorships

Weatherman (known colloquially as The Weathermen) was a political faction elected in 1968 to lead the radical group Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). The organization took its name from a line in the Bob Dylan song Subterranean Homesick Blues ("You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows"). Emerging in 1969 as the most militant wing of the SDS's Revolutionary Youth Movement, the fledgling Weatherman issued a "manifesto" eschewing nonviolence and calling instead for armed opposition to U.S. policies; advocating the overthrow of capitalism; exhorting white radicals to trigger a worldwide revolution by fighting in the streets of the "mother country"; and proclaiming that the time had come to launch a race war against the "white" United States on behalf of the non-white Third World.

Grounded in identity politics, Weatherman ideology and rhetoric rebelled against what later came to be known as America's "white skin privilege." Weatherman opposed the strategy of a rival SDS faction, Progressive Labor, which rejected the sexual and chemical excesses of the counter-cultural movements of the 1960s in favor of a purer, Marxist-Leninist popular front movement aimed at developing student-labor alliances.

FBI files from 1976, recently made public under the Freedom of Information Act, confirm the connections between Weatherman, Havana, and Moscow.

Weatherman leaders like Mark Rudd traveled illegally to Havana in 1968 to engage in terrorist training. There, camps set up by Soviet KGB Colonel Vadim Kotchergine were educating Westerners both in Marxist philosophy and urban warfare.

At a 1969 "War Council" in Flint, Michigan, Weatherman leader Bernardine Dohrn (currently a law professor at Northwestern University and a Board member of the ACLU) praised the serial murderer Charles Manson and his accomplices: "Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim's stomach. Wild." She then proclaimed that the time had come to launch a war against "Amerikkka" (Weatherman always spelled "America" this way, to convey the group's belief that the nation was ineradicably racist to its core). Toward this end, Dohrn advocated the formation of an even more radical "Weather Underground" cult to carry out covert terrorist activities rather than public acts of protest. By early 1970, her wish would be realized.

Weatherman's first public demonstration was its October 1969 "Days of Rage" protest in Chicago, timed to coincide with the trials of the Chicago Seven (a group of radical leftists led by Tom Hayden), who had fomented a riot at the Democratic Party nominating convention in that city the previous year. Advertised with the slogan "Bring the war home," "Days of Rage" sought to create enough chaos to shock the American public out of its alleged complacency vis a vis the Vietnam War.

The opening "Days of Rage" salvo, designed to glorify the anarchist movement, was the October 8 demolition of a statue dedicated to the memory of eight policemen who had been killed in the Haymarket Labor Riot of 1886. Thereafter, some 300 people -- both members and supporters of the Weatherman agenda -- ravaged Chicago's business district, smashing windows and destroying automobiles. Six people were shot and seventy were arrested. The violence continued, though on a smaller scale, for each of the next two nights. As Sixties historian Todd Gitlin observed, however, no popular uprising was sparked by these events, much to the group's dismay. Notable "Days of Rage" leaders included Bill Ayers, now a Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, and Mark William Rudd, currently a mathematics professor at a New Mexico community college.

Weatherman was further radicalized by the December 1969 shooting death of Black Panther leader Fred Hampton by Chicago police. Hampton was a street thug who, in his much-heralded "morning education" programs, taught black youths that violent opposition to the U.S. government was a worthy goal. He was quoted in a 1969 Chicago Sun-Times article as saying, "I am at war with the pigs," and forecasting an armed struggle between blacks and whites. He routinely carried weapons and instructed his subordinates to do the same. For Weatherman, Hampton's death provided one more excuse to pursue a revolutionary agenda. In March 1970 the organization issued a "Declaration of a State of War" against the United States government, using for the first time its new name, the "Weather Underground Organization" (WUO), adopting fake identities, and pledging to pursue covert activities only.

Shortly after that Declaration, three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed.

The Weather Underground went on to claim credit for some 25 bombings over the next several years, detonating explosives at the rebuilt Haymarket statue, a bathroom at the Pentagon, the Capitol barber shop, the New York City police headquarters, and a variety of other targets.

The Weather Underground also (for a fee of $25,000) helped psychedelic drug guru Timothy Leary break out of a California prison and arranged for his transport to Algiers. When Leary was re-arrested in 1974, he cooperated in the FBI investigation of WUO in exchange for a lighter sentence.

By the time the U.S. withdrew its military forces from Vietnam in 1975, the Weather Underground was clearly losing vitality as an organization, having failed to invigorate a new radical movement in the U.S. or to inspire an all-out war against the government. In the wake of President Jimmy Carter's amnesty for draft dodgers, members of the group began to emerge from hiding. Many were never prosecuted; others had their convictions overturned. Some, like Rudd, Dohrn, and Ayers, claimed places for themselves in academia, while others attempted to return to the mainstream.

On October 20, 1981 -- long after the Weather Underground had ceased to exist -- former Underground member Kathy Boudin and her soon-to-be husband, David Gilbert, were accomplices in the robbery of a Brinks armored car in Nyack, New York. In the course of that heist, one Brinks guard and two Nyack police officers were murdered. Also involved in the robbery was Judith Clark, who had served a prison term for her participation in the "Days of Rage." Boudin hired attorney Leonard Weinglass, a law partner of her father, to defend her in the case. Weinglass arranged for a plea bargain whereby Boudin pled guilty to one count of felony murder and robbery, in exchange for a prison sentence of twenty years to life. She was paroled in 2003, however, over strong opposition from New York State police. Gilbert remains in New York's Attica State Prison, having refused to bargain.

Some have said that Bill Ayers is more than just an acquaintance of Obama and has been in contact with him while in the White House and is rumored to have closer ties. Bill Ayers claims to have ghost wrote Obama’s book Dreams of My Father.

Larry Grathwohl an FBI undercover agent exposed what Bill Ayers and the Weathermen Underground intended to do after overthrowing government as we know it and allow both Russia, China and their allies to occupy parts of the United States. Their looming concern was how to deal with the Americans who refuse to embrace their version of government. Here is the video clip outlining this. [/SIZE][/B]

Barack Obama Mourns The Death Of Ruthless Communist Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro

Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people,' Obama's statement said. 'We know that this moment fills Cubans - in Cuba and in the United States - with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation.

U.S. President Barack Obama has spoken out on the passing of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro, saying that history will record and judge the ‘enormous’ impact that Castro had on ‘the people and the world around him.’

EDITOR’S NOTE: Marxist Barack Obama has never met a dictator he didn’t like, and he loved Fidel Castro. Castro was a bloodthirsty dictator who enslaved his country of Cuba and kept it in perpetual poverty for well over half a century. Yet, Barack Obama today praised this man who brought the world to the brink of nuclear war in the 1960’s and mourned his passing. Somewhere miles below the Earth, Saul Alinsky is looking up and, through the smoke and flames, attempting to smile on his pupil Obama. Birds of a feather and all that…yes, history will judge Fidel Castro, but that’s not the judgment he should be worrying about.

The White House released Obama’s statement on Saturday morning in which he noted the relationship between the U.S. and Cuba has been marked by ‘discord and profound political disagreements’ for nearly six decades.

Obama offered his condolences to Castro’s family and said his thoughts and prayers are with the Cuban people.

‘At this time of Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people,’ Obama’s statement said.

‘We know that this moment fills Cubans – in Cuba and in the United States – with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation.

    Fidel Castro Declassified:

‘History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.’

President Obama went on to say that during his presidency, ‘we have worked hard to put the past behind us, pursuing a future in which the relationship between our two countries is not defined by our differences.’

‘But by the many things that we share as neighbors and friends – bonds of family, culture, commerce, and common humanity,’ he said.

‘This engagement includes the contributions of Cuban Americans, who have done so much for our country and who care deeply about their loved ones in Cuba.

‘Today, we offer condolences to Fidel Castro’s family, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Cuban people. In the days ahead, they will recall the past and also look to the future.

‘As they do, the Cuban people must know that they have a friend and partner in the United States of America.’ source

Nice! I will definitely have to give that a watch since it's a G. Edward Griffen production.

I had posted another one of his videos around here somewhere.

It perfectly details events occurring today.

I'll share these. I haven't watched them yet personally but, they were recommended to me. A two part series that details Cuba's involvement in Africa during the Cold War.
