I can see my message, but it is taking a few moments to load. Something in one of the messages is trying to load off site stuff

I can see on the page that lists all the threads in that Forum that you did post.

But I've been parked on that page (after you posted) for almost 3 mins, and I still can't see your post.

I'm sure this is an issue of you blocking something on your firewall I bet.

I have similar problems here at work. What is the last message you CAN see?

Backstop, try going back...

and scroll down to the point the page stops loading. You should still be able to scroll up and down and get the last message number you see on the upper right. Post that here when you get a minute.

If I have time I will go in and see if there is some damned ad code causing it (usually it is some script that someone forgets to take out).

Note to everyone grabbing and posting whole pages of information, PLEASE edit them properly, remove the crap and extraneous stuff, and make SURE there are no ads included (I miss them too sometimes) and remove scripts FOR SURE!

Try it now, the script trying to run the video isn't working right, and there were tags that shouldn't have been there and weren't corrected terminated. I removed the video.

Yep I can see it, and just posted.

I try and clean up my posts, but as you know I'm not an expert.

As a Mod, I should have been able to fix that myself.

Maybe here or in the Staff Forum, if you wouldn't mind and you have the time, tell me what I should do/look for/ etc. to fix that myself rather than having to raise my hand.

Right... it was a tag with greater-less-than signs around it that said noscript

I only happened to catch it and wasn't 100% sure that was the problem. So, I just removed the whole video because well... I can't see the damned things anyway. Hahahhaa

Didn't the large icon to the left of post used to be a link to the location of your last read section of that thread? Now it's just a non-linking image?

Never mind, I see that it's the small down arrow icon. Any way to change it to make the big icon have the image? Trying to read the site on my 7" tablet so that would be easier to touch.

I think I know which one you mean but just to be sure could you take a screen shot and circle the one you want me to try to change?

If I can't change the one you're talking about, I may be able to make the current one larger.

On my previous post I meant to say can you make the folder icon to the left of the one I circled to have the action of the down arrow one, but I think you got the idea.

With Thanksgiving coming up and the increased workload at work because of the retail season, I can't guarantee how quickly I can get to it but I will take a look to see what I can do first chance I get.

I think the easiest thing will be to just increase the size of the blue arrow box.

If anyone has any issues running into "Forbidden" errors when posting, please let me know either via this thread or through other means what you were attempting to post and where.

I am currently working with our hosting service to resolve this issue and, while they have made some changes they believe will eliminate this issue, they are requesting any information on any other instances of this error so that they may make adjustments as required.
