    Anti-Communist Rally

Communist will be holding a meeting in Fort Collins. I intent on crashing there meeting and perhaps holding a anti communist rally out side on the public sidewalk. I need help and support. I want to make it load and clear the communist is evil and those who choose to support that form of evil should remain underground and in the closet. Here are several reason why communism must be apposed.

    1. Communism has been responsible for 100,000,000 deaths this century, 2. Communism's stated aim is to eliminate all religions, 3. Communism's stated aim is to eliminate private property, 4. Communism's stated aim is to incite class warfare, 5. Communism's stated aim is to set up a world-wide proletariate dictatorship, 6. Communism's stated aim is to eliminate free speech and other forms of opposition.

Here is info about the event.

Chris Carlson will present the Salon on July 21 on the subject of Venezuela: its recent history leading up to the Revolution, and then the current situation with Chavez, and his political program. Chris has made presentations to Salon before, and we'll be glad to hear from him again!

Salon duc Tape, a public forum sponsored by Strength Through Peace, meets on most Fridays from 7:00 -- 9:00 pm. Cafe Ardour 255 Linden Street .

I plan to show up around 6:30pm out side near entrance but not blocking traffic or the walkways. Please make anti communist signs and join me and my family.

    Semper fi.

I still find it hard to believe that any American could possibly find Communism...with it's bloody history, appealing in ANY fashion. What the hell can these people possibly be thinking? The looney far left never ceases to amaze me.

I wish I could attend that rally. In addition to despising Communism...I read the other day where Fort Collins was named by "Money Magazine" as the "Best Place To Live" in the U.S.A. for 2006.

Death to Communism. God bless America!

I think people find the concepts of egalitarianisim and "all for one" appealing. Idealistically, it would supposedly create a fair and equal world with no poor, no elites. In the real world though, human nature and individual personalities thrive only when finding your own nitch. Hard working overachievers rise, slacker wanna-be's fall behind, corrupt manipulators work the loopholes. The idealized Communisim is just incompatable to the Human condition.

And honestly, a perfect communisim would be downright boring. (Assuming you could weed it of corruption present in every government.) We're all equal, little motivation to excell, meet the status quo, even keel cradle to grave. The thrill of risk and reward - gone?

Completely aside of politics, I simply don't care for the social consiquences communisim would impose upon the large slice of a population that does want to work hard, that does want to take risks, that is motivated by reward.

I did a paper in High School on Socialism... the basic premise was that "Socialism is the best form of economic supply and government".

I got an A+ on the paper. Pretty amazing for a Capitalist Pig, huh? But, I figured, loopholes were there, and in the paper I pointed out the pitfalls of socialism and when I completed the paper in my summary, I pretty much stated the above, "IF it weren't for the pitfalls and transformation into communism into which all socialist eventually undergo".

So, while I wrote a paper that seemed to make the teacher happy, I managed to get my digs in and get an A+ (only one in that socialist slop-filled, spoon fed class I was in by the way)...

Like you said.. in 'perfect world'....

Only in a perfect world. Fortunately, we're all human and not perfect, huh?

Whenever I think of Communism, I can't help but think of that line from George Orwell's "Animal Farm"...."All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

    That identifies Communism perfectly.

In a perfect world, we wouldn't need a government to do anything for us. We'd help each otherwithout being asked or told to. No one would go hungry or homeless and those that are able would to take care of ourselves and not expect government or someone else to do it for them.

But like you guys said...it's not a perfect world.
