All structures OF CPSU - COMMUNIST PARTY OF THE SOVIET UNION and international public union "for the union and the Communist Party of union" must in the remained time to form the millionth on the number, well controlled front of the support Of shenina O.S. of the CC CPSU necessary to develop and to propose to the people of Russia the clear program of first priority measures if it will become the ruling party.

All structures of the CPSU - Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the international public union, meaning [probably] the Communist Party of the Union of Russia and Belarus, must in the remaining time [before the 2008 election] secure at least one million members, establish a well-controlled front to support Oleg Shenin of the Central Committee (CC) of the CPSU, and develop a clear program of proposals to the people of Russia. [These are] first priority measures if it [the CPSU] is to become the ruling party [at least openly].
-- Perilous Times' translation

Since the continuing Communist Party of the Soviet Union inserted its FSB minion Vladimir Putin into the presidency of the Russian Federation in 1999, there has been endless wrangling among the CPSU factions as to which is the faithful torchbearer of Marxism-Leninism. Gennady Zyuganov, chair of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, has stated that he will again seek the RF presidency in the 2008 election, although he declined to do so in 2004 in order to perpetuate the ruse that the communists no longer rule Russia.

The love-hate relationships among Soviet Communists are now very evident with the entrance of Oleg Shenin, chair of the continuing Communist Party of the Soviet Union, into the 2008 presidential election. Shenin, pictured above, supported the State Emergency Committee (GKChP) in the 1991 "Vodka Putsch" against Gorby and was jailed following the coup. The stated objective of the continuing CPSU is, as we have demonstrated before in this blogsite, the restoration of the Soviet Union in all of its "dysfunctional glory."

For the record, the eight members of the GKChP, along with Shenin, were arrested:

  • Gennady Yanayev, Soviet Vice President; now a pension fund consultant
  • Vladimir Kryuchkov, Director, KGB; has since published his memoirs
  • Dmitriy Yazov, Soviet Defense Minister; now an arms exporter advisor
  • Valentin Pavlov, Soviet Prime Minister; now a banker
  • Oleg Baklanov, Soviet Defense Council
  • Vasily Starodubtsev, Member, Soviet Parliament
  • Alexander Tizyakov, president of state enterprises, industrial construction, transport, and communications
  • Boris Pugo, Interior Minister, shot himself to avoid arrest
The Public Opinion Foundation (POF) polled Russians in August 2006 and concluded that 74% of respondents who demonstrated a favorable attitude toward the coup leaders now believe that their victory would have "done Russia good." Until 1992 the POF was part of the All-Russia Center for the Study of Public Opinion and in 1996 the POF served as the election headquarters of Boris Yeltsin's public opinion center.

The leadership of the continuing CPSU stresses the fact that Gorbachev and the "reform" communists dissolved the Soviet Union contrary to the wishes of the country's citizens, which were expressed in the March 17, 1991 referendum in which 78% of voters supported the retention of the USSR, albeit in a revised format.

Most benighted inhabitants of the West struggle with the concept that communists still believe in communism. You and I know communism does not work. However, you will NEVER convince a communist that that is so. He will even go so far as to employ capitalism to advance communism, to wit Vladimir Lenin's New Economic Policy in the 1920s, Boris Yeltsin's New Economic Policy Version 2.0, and the Communist Party of China's strategic utilization of capitalism to establish the economic dependency of the West on the Communist Bloc. Chairman Shenin's commitment to communism and intent to whitewash the crimes of past communist regimes, including his own, the old Soviet Union, is obvious in his endorsement at No2Anticommunism of a counter-resolution against the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe's recent anti-communist resolution:

We the undersigned, independently of our views on the ex-socialist countries, appeal to the members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) to firmly reject – at a following session of the PACE - the resolution “Need for international condemnation of crimes of totalitarian communist regimes”, voted on 25 January 2006.

PACE Resolution 1481 called "on all communist or post-communist parties in its member states which have not yet done so to reassess the history of communism and their own past, clearly distance themselves from the crimes committed by totalitarian communist regimes and condemn them without any ambiguity." Both Shenin and Zyuganov objected to this and the other articles in the resolution. Food for thought as both men contemplate running for office in the Not-So-Former Soviet Union . . .

Note that in the quote below the Kaliningrad Provincial Committee of the continuing CPSU insists that the last 15 years of Russian history have NOT been a retreat from communism: "We do not consider this retreat from our strategic course on the Socialist Revolution."

Second, the committee presents Shenin as the Soviet Union's savior and attributes the downfall of the first USSR to the machinations of Western intelligence agencies, working in collaboration with Gorbachev: "You only from the composition GKCHP during August 1991 insisted on the immediate arrest of the state criminals of Gorbachev and Yeltsin, who carry out the task of his masters, western services with respect to the destruction of the Soviet Union."

Third, the committee suggests that the "Prerequisites for the information breakthrough OF CPSU - COMMUNIST PARTY OF THE SOVIET UNION will be created." In other words, the continuing CPSU will shortly step out of the shadows and present itself to the citizen/slaves of Russia and the duped denizens of the communized West. The Final Phase of the perestroika deception is about to reach its denouement. Viva Golitsyn!
