Just in case anyone cares, the Stones played Churchill Downs Friday night. If anyone is so inclined, I can't overemphasize how incredibly well these guys have aged and encourage anyone interested to catch this tour.

A friend of mine saw them last week in Halifax and she said they ROCKED!
I always liked Mick...but to me.....Ron Wood always looked like a poster boy for junkies...*L*

Joey, man, that's harsh! Except for the fact they have money and talent, Keith and Ron look like some of my relatives!
Seriously, that's one of the things I find so amusing about all the Stones mystique. Where once they were reviled as depraved druggies, now they are accepted as mildly amusing rascals refusing to grow up. One reviewer even mentioned he still wouldn't leave his girlfriend alone with Mick. Truthfully, the boys behaved very gentlemanly considering the weather, Keith in particular still seems to look at the entire scene as a joke, as if bewildered by the attention to this day.

Yeah, judging from last year's Super Bowl half time show, the Stones still look and sound good.

But, judging from that same show, Mick needs to either a) stick to long sleeve shirts and/or b) stop shaking his arms all over the place. That old man arm flab is just nasty!
