North Dakota Highway Patrol Seizes Dope, Nabs Illegal Aliens
FARGO, N.D. - Highway Patrol troopers from this city seized nearly 2 pounds of marijuana and apprehended four illegal aliens from Mexico, in two separate traffic stops.

The patrol said one vehicle was stopped Wednesday night on Interstate 94 near the West Fargo exit for having no tail lights on a trailer. The four occupants were released to the Border Patrol.

The four illegal aliens had been working at the new Wal-Mart under construction in Dickinson, authorities said.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. voluntarily shut down work for a few days this week on all seven stores under construction in North Dakota to check for illegal aliens. That happened after two illegal immigrants working on company projects in Bismarck were charged with molesting two 13-year-old Belcourt girls.

A second traffic stop later Wednesday night occurred after a vehicle failed to yield at an intersection and almost hit a trooper, the patrol said. A 31-year-old man and 28-year-old woman from Bismarck were arrested for possessing the marijuana.
