Knothole Baseball Bans On-Field Chatter

When Cincinnati's knothole baseball gets started in a few weeks, there will be a noticeable silence on the field.

The Enquirer reports the knothole league has banned on-field chatter, which it now deems "taunting," so you won't hear kids say things like "hey batter batter" anymore.

Kids will only be able to say nice things to their own teammates.

This comes after an ugly incident last year when an on-field taunt led to an all-out brawl in Colerain Township.

As one who has played a fair amount of baseball - and still play to this day, that new rule is absolutely ridiculous.

We’re raising a generation of kids who are so in touch with their feelings, that’s all they can see.

GET OVER IT! IT’S A FREAKING GAME!

OMG I coached little league for about 4 years back in my military days, before I even had a kid that was old enough to play, and I think that is NONSENSE.
