A taxi driver accused of telling a passenger he had a bomb in his car, was thinking of joining ISIS and could have “done a better job” than the Paris terrorists, should be suspended for six months and fined $1,150, an administrative law judge has recommended.
Judge Kevin Casey refused to yank the license of cabbie Hisham Ahmed, as the Taxi & Limousine Commission had requested, after police said he posed “no threat” and after determining his volatile remarks were “out of character” in a 20-year career.
Casey said Ahmed deserved a lesser punishment for scaring the daylights out of his passenger, an Australian businessman.
“The complaintant credibly testified that [Ahmed] repeatedly stated that he wanted to blow up the taxi cab,” the judge wrote in a March 16 decision.
“Those remarks were made late at night in the close confines of a taxi, less than two weeks after a horrific attack by terrorists in Paris.”
“[Ahmed] had already alluded to the Paris Attack and his desire to join ISIS,” he added. “Though the police later concluded that [Ahmed] did not pose a threat to the public, that finding did not diminish the distress endured by the complainant as he rode in the cab.”
Ahmed’s lawyer called the recommended penalty excessive.
“The police investigated Mr. Ahmed and found him to be no threat whatsoever,” said attorney Daniel Ackman.
He disputed the judge’s finding that Ahmed had made the remarks and said that even if he had, “the punishment for speaking is excessive.”
The allegedly terror-fueled cab ride began shortly before midnight, in late November, when the businessman hopped in Ahmed’s cab near Third Avenue and East 21st St.
Just two minutes into his ride to his midtown hotel, the businessman testified that Ahmed asked him about the Paris terror attacks.
The passenger recounted that he told Ahmed the attacks were “unfortunate or very upsetting.”
The cabbie responded, he said, by boasting he “could’ve done a better job.”
It was the first in a string of disturbing remarks Ahmed allegedly made during the short ride, including asking his fare how to get an “ISIS visa” and wondering repeatedly if he should “blow the taxi up tonight.”
The ride was a “terrifying” and “terrible” experience, the businessman told the judge, adding the incident “ruined the night” and turned what had been a great trip to New York into a “an absolute disappointment.”
The businessman, who was not identified, called the police and TLC shortly after arriving at his hotel on Lexington Avenue at 37th Street.
Ahmed, who has been a cab driver for two decades, testified that he had no recollection of the businessman or of the alleged incident, and had never told a passenger he wanted to join ISIS or
blow up his taxi.
The judge also found that Ahmed broke TLC rules by smoking in the cab that night.
The TLC doesn’t have to follow the judge’s recommendation.
Agency spokesman Allan Fromberg said TLC Commissioner Meera Joshi would make a decision early next month.

Oklahoma City Thunder Go Sharia with Islamic Halal Diet

Enes Kanter has started a halal food craze that has absorbed the Thunder’s locker room after road games—and stocked it with lamb platters and chicken kebabs.
In the middle of every Oklahoma City road game, David Howarth’s phone buzzes in his pocket. The Thunder’s athletic performance coordinator excuses himself from the bench and escapes to the arena’s loading dock. That’s where he picks up the team’s dinner: takeout halal food.
This is not what most NBA teams eat after games. But the more adventurous Thunder players have done away with the traditional locker-room fare this season. Instead they’re digging into generous helpings of lamb and chicken kebabs.
The person responsible for Oklahoma City’s culinary revolution isn’t Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook or any other Thunder starter. It is Enes Kanter, the team’s reserve center, who is Muslim and observes his religion’s dietary laws.
Thunder executives took measures to accommodate Kanter’s religion when they traded for the Turkish-born big man last year and signed him to a long-term extension in the off-season. He has access to his own prayer room in the team’s arena, for example, and uses owner Clay Bennett’s office in the team’s practice center, where he uses towels as prayer rugs. The team also made sure that Kanter’s very first meal in Oklahoma City was cooked under halal standards, which means the meat was raised and slaughtered properly, and Thunder chefs started cooking for him with separate kitchenware.
But what happened next was something no one anticipated. The halal takeover started when Thunder center Steven Adams asked Kanter if he would share his post-game dinner. “Pretty much as soon as he came in,” Adams said, “I just told him that I’m eating his food, so I told the guys to order double.”
Westbrook and Serge Ibaka then began tearing into the halal trays. Before long, Thunder officials were searching the Internet for the top-rated Turkish and Middle Eastern restaurants in other cities when the team was on the road, all so they could feed a full lineup of NBA players with enormous appetites.
“It’s like a mini-party,” said Thunder medical director Donnie Strack. “Everyone wants to steal Enes’s food.”
Kanter eats halal because of his religion. Adams eats halal for a slightly different reason.
“Because it’s awesome,” he said.
Now, after Kanter’s first full season in Oklahoma City, the team has a rotation of halal restaurants in NBA cities—and their players have become food critics.
“What’s our best city?” Adams said. “Orlando?”
“Boston?” Kanter said.
“Boston was good, wasn’t it?” Adams said. “Boston was the best city. I don’t know the top five, but Boston was definitely No. 1.”
They say there is a science to halal quality: The bigger the city, the better the food. The Thunder happened to be in Brooklyn this year when the Northeast was blanketed in several feet of snow, but that didn’t stop Kanter from leaving the Thunder’s hotel in search of the borough’s standout Turkish food. That week, when the Thunder played the New York Knicks, the full team meal was a Turkish feast. Outside their Madison Square Garden locker room were tables of halal food. “Everyone’s starting to jump on board,” Adams said, “just because it tastes so good.”
But not quite everyone. Durant is the Thunder’s highest-profile halal holdout. While others peek at Kanter’s plate, Durant sticks with staples of the NBA diet, which tends to be heavy on grilled chicken and, for the Thunder, brisket and short rib. Durant still knows all about the halal situation.
“I think it’s bull—,” he joked after a recent practice. “I’ve been here for nine years and I requested some stuff after the game and I have to pay for it on my own. And the second he gets here he gets his own menu.” Durant’s faux-outrage, however, may come from his personal taste for the food: “It’s nasty to me,” he said.

Florida: Muslim arrested in jihad sting on Aventura synagogue

AVENTURA, Fla. (WSVN) — Federal agents arrested a man who, sources said, was planning to throw an explosive device into a South Florida synagogue.
According to law enforcement sources, the FBI set up a sting to thwart what they described as a terror attack at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, Friday evening.
Sources said agents posing as terrorists were able to stop James Medina, the man, who, they said, may have converted to Islam.
Sources told 7News they are concerned about this case because Medina wanted to take some type of explosive device and chuck it over the wall. Friday was the next-to-last day of Passover, and the center was crowded with people observing the holiday.
Concerned residents said they were disturbed by the arrest. “I think about, before we had a baby, that we used to go there for services, and God forbid, it could have been us,” said Stephanie Levine. “Thank God they stopped him, but had they not, it would have been such a horrible thing to happen to this neighborhood.”
The Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center released a statement in the wake of the terror threats: “The leadership of our congregation has been briefed by law enforcement and Jewish community security officials about this situation. They assured us that the synagogue and school were never at risk at any time during the investigation and arrest, and that there are no credible threats directed against us at the present time.”
Sources said the center was never in danger because Medina was taken into custody before any harm was done.
“Of course it surprised me,” said area resident Richard Levinson. “Everybody says, ‘I live in a small town. It doesn’t happen here,’ but the sad part is, it happens everywhere.”
Resident Kim Tepper said she is horrified by the turn of events but ultimately not that surprised. “It’s a very scary world, and you know what? I don’t think that anybody is safe anywhere,” she said. ‘We’d always thought, living in this area, that we could be targeted, so now you’re kind of confirming that for me. Not happy.”
Florida Representative Debbie Wassedrman Schultz stated how grateful she is that the individual was caught by the FBI. “I am deeply grateful that the FBI arrested this individual before he was allegedly able to do harm to the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center and its congregates,” said Schultz. “I will be in contact with federal and local authorities immediately and working with them to ensure our community’s places of worship — no matter what faith — are safe for all those who worship in them.”
FBI officials declined to comment on the investigation, but 7News has learned Medina will appear in federal court early this week.

Collier County sheriff’s deputies apprehended a man claiming to be with ISIS who tried to hold up a bank in Golden Gate Estates.
Deputies said he demanded cash at the BB&T location at 15285 Collier Blvd., and threatened to blow up the bank.
The man left in a car which was later spotted on Rockledge Road, where he was taken into custody 10 minutes later with no cash.
The FBI is being notified of the ISIS claim, and Collier deputies said it’s been “some time” since they had a threat of an explosion.

Muslim Students Trap, Bully San Diego State’s Jewish President

San Diego State University’s Jewish President Elliot Hirshman was hounded, bullied and trapped in a police car on Wednesday by pro-Islam student protesters who accused him of not doing enough to protect Muslim students on campus.
Some of the demonstrators performed Muslim prayers outside the police vehicle in which they had trapped Hirshman.
The students were protesting free speech as well as Hirshman’s alleged slow response to a series of fliers placed on campus by the David Horowitz Freedom Center that named seven SDSU students who “have allied themselves with Palestinian terrorists to perpetrate” hatred against Jewish students on campus.
According to local ABC News affiliate in San Diego, 10 News, students trapped Hirshman in a police car for nearly an hour before making him exit the vehicle and forcing him to apologize for saying the flyers were allowed on campus as part of every persona’s First Amendment rights to exercise free speech. The students were also upset that it took Hirshman nearly two weeks to respond to their protests.
Hirshman had reportedly issued a response, in conjunction with another student administrator, advising against naming students with varying viewpoints, as it could discourage them from participating in political discourse. “It’s always difficult balancing free speech with things that make people uncomfortable, and we deal with that every day on campus,” university spokesman Greg Block said, according to the San Diego Union Tribune. “But in the end, free speech wins out, and we support that.” Block further explained that “any time something happens on campus, people want the president to make a statement. He can’t make a statement for everything that happens.”
However, that was not enough for the radicals.
The students, led by Osama Alkhawaja, whose name also appeared on the flier linking him with terrorist entities, eventually forced Hirshman to issue an apology in front of the crowd of protesters after they linked hands and refused to budge.
“If we have done things inadvertently that have upset or hurt people, we are sorry for that,” Hirshman reportedly said. Alkhawaja told the Tribune, “it definitely feels like a victory. For all the students that put in so many hours trying to get the administration to listen to us, we feel like at least we got something: a public apology.”
Alkhawaja has served as co-chair of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at SDSU. According to the magazine Palestine in America, Alkhawaja previously served in the Student Diversity Commission of SDSU and as Vice President of the Muslim Student Association. His Facebook profile picture shows him smiling in front of Jerusalem’s Dome of the Rock, a contentious site in the conflict between Jews and Muslims in the region, which is currently controlled by Muslim religious authorities but under Israeli sovereignty. The picture is captioned “always on the back of my mind.”
Ironically, both SDSU and the Muslim Student Association have held a host of anti-Israel events on the SDSU campus for which apologies have not been granted. The Muslim Students Association also supports an on going campaign for divestment from Israel, known as the BDS movement (boycott, divestment, sanctions).
The groups involved in thi BDS movement at SDSU include the MSA, Students for Justice in Palestine, Women’s Outreach Association, and the Queer Students Union, among others.
Additionally, in 2013 an Arabic language professor at the school eliminated the country of Israel from a map and replaced the Jewish State with the word “Palestine.”

California: Muslim freeloaders refuse to leave cafe, wage legal jihad when kicked out

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (KABC) — A popular eatery in Orange County came under fire over a video that went viral.
In the video, a woman claims she and her friends were asked to leave the Urth Caffe in Laguna Beach for being Muslim.
But the owner of the restaurant said the woman’s claims are not true.
Sara Farsahk, the woman who posted the video on Facebook, claimed she and her Muslim friends were the victims of discrimination at Urth Caffe.
She explained that they were asked to leave after 45 minutes, to free up a table for customers ordering at the counter.
In the video, the women can be heard stating there are empty tables in the restaurant. When they wouldn’t leave, the manager called police.
The video has been viewed more than 200,000 times.
ABC7 reached out to Urth Caffe, which said it does have a policy that patrons must give up or share their table after 45 minutes when it’s busy.
The owner, Shallom Berkman, said there were people waiting in line that evening.
“Everybody wants an outside seat. We have this policy to make things fair and accommodate everyone who wants to enjoy Urth Cafe,” Berkman said.
But to make things clear, Berkman stated the women were not asked to leave because they are Muslim.
“My wife is Muslim and I’m Jewish. We like to say we’re a sign of world peace,” Berkman said.
But the outrage generated by Farsakh’s Facebook post prompted Yelp to block anyone from reviewing Urth Caffe so that people wouldn’t post their views on the news story.
Berkman said he’d like to offer Farsakh a meal on the house.
“We’re very sorry that she has this feeling that this was something racist, but that is just not the case,” Berkman said.
Farsakh did not want to comment on camera for ABC7’s story. She met with the Council on American Islamic Relations on Monday and they planned to issue a statement on her behalf Tuesday morning.

The 9/11 Commission came to regard immigration fraud and visa fraud as the key means by which international terrorists enter the United States and embed themselves. Yet, these issues are seldom, if ever, discussed or reported on by the media or politicians- especially those politicians who are determined to foist a massive legalization program involving unknown millions of illegal aliens on the United States.
Immigration fraud and visa fraud have long been of great concern where issues of national security are concerned. In point of fact, on May 20, 1997 I participated in a hearing conducted by the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Claims on the topic, “Visa Fraud And Immigration Benefits Application Fraud.”
That hearing was predicated on two terror attacks carried out in 1993 by terrorists from the Middle East including those who had engaged in visa fraud and also filed fraud-laden applications for immigration benefits.
In January 1993 a Pakistani national, Mir Aimal Kansi, stood outside CIA Headquarters with an AK-47 and opened fire on the vehicles of CIA officials reporting for work on that cold January morning in Virginia. He killed two CIA officers and wounded three others.
Just one month later, on February 26, 1993 a bomb-laden truck was parked in the garage under the World Trade Center complex and detonated. The blast nearly brought one of the 110 story towers down sideways. Six innocent people were killed, over one thousand people were injured and an estimated one-half billion dollars in damages were inflicted on that iconic complex of buildings located just blocks from Wall Street.
The Clinton administration abjected refused the learn the lessons that should have been learned from those attacks thereby literally and figuratively leaving the door wide open for the terrror attacks of 9/11.
Since the attacks of 9/11 we have witnessed a long list of terror attacks and attempted terror attacks that involved foreign nationals who gamed the visa process and/or the immigration benefits program.
Just six months after the attacks of September 11, 2001, it was discovered that incredibly, two of the dead terrorist/hijackers had been granted authorization to change their immigration status to attend flight school in the United States. I testified at the Congressional hearing convened by the House Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Immigration and Claims on March 19, 2002 on the topic, “INS'S March 2002 Notification Of Approval Of Change Of Status For Pilot Training For Terrorist Hijackers Mohammed Atta And Marwan Al-Shehhi.”
This hearing was covered by C-SPAN. Every member of Congress should be required to watch that C-SPAN video. Virtually none of the promises made at that hearing by the indignant members of Congress at that hearing, to remedy the failures of the immigration system that were behind that glaring example of incompetence, have been effectively addressed- to this very day.
The Summer Edition of The Social Contract includes my article, “The 9/11 Commission Report and Immigration: An Assessment, Fourteen Years after the Attacks.” My article focused on the continuing failures of the government to address the myriad failures of the immigration system in violation of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, with immigration fraud being a major issue.

On May 5, 2005 I testified before the House Subcommittee on Immigration, Claims and Border Security’s hearing on the topic,“New "Dual Missions" of the Immigration Enforcement Agencies.” The hearing focused on how the creation of the DHS by the Bush administration had hobbled efforts at effective immigration law enforcement especially from within the interior of the United States.
The Obama administration's policies however, have wrecked havoc, in unprecedented ways, on the entire immigration system, undermining national security, public safety and the well-being of America and Americans.
Obama's executive orders have provided hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens with lawful status without interviews or field investigations under the aegis of the DACA (Deferred Action- Childhood Arrival Program), virtually inviting fraud-laden applications to be filed by illegal aliens whose true identities may never be accurately determined.
And now we come to the arrest of individuals closely connected to the San Bernardino terrorists.
On April 28, 2016 three individuals were arrested and charged with participating in a marriage fraud while a fourth individual, Enrique Marquez Jr., currently in custody- charged with providing material support to the two terrororists who carried out the murderous rampage, has additionally been charged with participating in a marriage fraud conspiracy.
The arrest of these individuals was widely reported in the media. An AP report posted by WTVM about this case began this way:
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - Three people with close family ties to the couple responsible for the San Bernardino terror attack were arrested Thursday in an alleged marriage-fraud scheme involving a pair of Russian sisters.



The accused include Syed Raheel Farook. His brother and sister-in-law, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, died in a shootout with police after killing 14 people and wounding 22 others on Dec. 2.
Also arrested in the marriage-fraud case were Syed Raheel Farook's wife, Tatiana, and her sister, Mariya Chernykh. Prosecutors say Mariya's marriage to Enrique Marquez Jr., the only person charged in the shootings, was a sham designed to enable her to obtain legal status in the U.S. after overstaying a visitor visa in 2009.
Marquez confessed to the scheme when authorities questioned him about the shootings, and he acknowledged getting $200 a month to marry Chernykh, according to his criminal complaint.
The report stated that there was no information indicating that any of these individuals had prior knowledge of the December 2, 2015 terror attack.
Inasmuch as the investigation is ongoing it would be premature to arrive at any conclusions about the relationships between the individuals charged with marriage fraud conspiracy and the terror attacks or what their ultimate goals and intentions might have been.
Additionally, as the New York Post reported about this case, “Their phony marriages were the basis for filling out immigration papers, obtaining bank accounts and driver’s licenses, officials said.”
On April 28, 2016 ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) issued a press release about this case under the title, “3 people tied to shooter in San Bernardino terrorist attack arrested on federal conspiracy, marriage fraud and false statement charges.”
Here is an important excerpt from that press release (Note: HSI is a division of ICE):
“Last year’s tragedy in San Bernardino showed yet again how our nation’s legal immigration system can be subverted and exploited by those intent on doing this country harm,” said Joseph Macias, special agent in charge for HSI Los Angeles. “As the second largest presence on the nation’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces, HSI special agents, in collaboration with their JTTF partners, are using their unique skills and authorities, including their immigration expertise, to pursue individuals and organizations that pose a threat to domestic security. As this case underscores, that vigilance extends to those whose actions directly or indirectly put our communities and our country at risk.”
Nevertheless, there is an abject shortage of ICE/HSI agents across our nation even though it is obvious that immigration is a major factor where international terrorists and transnational criminals are concerned.
It is my contention that the lack of resources dedicated to enforcing our immigration laws is not a matter of ineptitude but intentional. This was the theme of my April 19, 2016 article for FrontPage Magazine, “Immigration Failure -- By Design - Doing the bidding of the Open Borders anarchists.”
Furthermore, as I noted in my March 18, 2016 article for FrontPage Magazine outrageously, managers at USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) the division of DHS, barred ICE agents from entering their offices the day after the terror attack at San Bernardino. These ICE agents, working with the JTTF, went to that office hoping to encounter Marquez who was scheduled to be interviewed with his “spouse” in conjunction with their immigration petition.
Inexplicably, the ICE agents were obstructed not assisted by DHS managers.
My article was entitled, “Are DHS Leaders Seeking an MVP Award From ISIS? - The day after the San Bernardino terror attack, why exactly did USCIS managers block a team of ICE agents from entering their facility?”
Where cranking out immigration benefits are concerned, it is clear that under the Obama administration the orders of the day amount to, “Damn the terrorists- full speed ahead!”
A final thought-
I has been widely reported that the allegations of marriage fraud were developed during the terror investigation. I cannot help but wonder if an investigation into the bona fides of the marriage in this case would have been independently initiated if that investigation would have uncovered the terror plot before the carnage of December 2, 2015.

A South Carolina parole board’s decision to grant early release for a teenager who served just one year of a five-year sentence on a gun charge rattled local law enforcement because authorities said the teen was attracted to the Islamic State and plotted to kill U.S. troops in North Carolina.
The 17-year-old was not identified, but apparently benefited from the state’s lack of terrorism laws. The state could only charge him with the weapons crime and no federal charges were reportedly ever sought.
The city of York’s police chief, Andy Robinson, said terror charges could have been leveled by the federal government, but “that bureaucracy is very complicated.”
“Apparently someone in Washington decided this wasn’t worth pursuing or it wasn’t in their parameters,” he said.
Consternation over the parole board’s decision was felt widely by local law enforcement and elected officials. York County Sheriff Bruce Bryant said he was “devastated” that the teen will be released. The teen reportedly laid out plans to live in nearby Charleston with his mother and two sisters.
“This is a person who has threatened law enforcement, threatened military personnel,” he said, according to The State newspaper.
Another law enforcement official told the newspaper that he does not believe the teen’s ideals have changed and local law enforcement will request that the FBI “keep tabs on him, because we don’t have the manpower…or the capability.” The town’s mayor, Eddie Lee, echoed the concern and said he is outraged.
The teenager was identified as an American citizen whose family is from Syria.
The prosecutor charged that the boy was plotting with a Muslim militant from North Carolina to rob a gun store near Raleigh, N.C., with plans of killing soldiers as revenge for U.S. military action in the Middle East.
The teen was “wholeheartedly sincere in his beliefs, and we are very concerned for the safety of the community and the country,” Solicitor Kevin Brackett said at sentencing. “He had a plan to randomly shoot American soldiers.”
Defense lawyer B.J. Barrowclough said the parole board made the right decision. Traumatic life experiences like the death of his father and the mistreatment by a family member contributed to him being led down the wrong path, he reportedly said.
Barrowclough previously said his client didn’t want to hurt anyone in the U.S. Instead, he wanted to fight the regime in Syria that had hurt and killed members of his own family, he said. One of the teen’s lawyers said his client had an exemplary disciplinary record and did all that was asked of him in custody

An official media affiliate of the Islamic State released a new video this weekend praising the Orlando attack, calling for similar attacks in multiple languages and portraying a suicide bomber striking Times Square.

Titled "You Are Not Held Responsible Except for Yourself," the Al-Furat Media Foundation release was distributed online with a promotional banner featuring President Obama, Omar Mateen and scenes from the previous weekend's carnage.

Al-Furat specializes in Russian-language messages to Muslims in the Caucasus and beyond. Earlier this year, for example, the media wing released the Philippine terrorist group Abu Sayyaf's video pledging allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The video opens with the tag "USA" in the upper corner and shots of an unseen person assembling a bomb to put in a suicide vest. The person buttons up a blue shirt, straps on the bomb belt, and zips up a dark brown leather jacket to conceal it. He's wearing a stainless steel wristwatch that reads 9:25.

That's followed by scenes of Times Square and the torso of the leather-jacketed man walking along the street. A TGI Friday's sign is shown.

In a close-up of the man with no location shown, he's pulling the ring on his detonator.

It appears to be mock-up footage from an Al-Jazeera segment, with the network's logo fuzzed out but still discernible.

News footage is then shown of the ABC News building banner in New York scrolling a headline about the November Paris attacks.

Red House, VA — A tense 10-hour standoff between an armed group of self-proclaimed patriots and members of the militant Islamic activist group Muslims of America (MOA), ended peacefully after local & federal authorities threatened the patriot militia with felony arrests.
The militia group, Armed Patriots Against Radical Terrorists (APART), stormed the well known ‘Jihad’ training camp in the early morning hours of July 4th, hoping to do something the federal government has been either unable or unwilling to do, arrest suspected terrorists and shut their training camp down.
Located in a remote section of Charlotte County, the suspected terrorist training camp has been featured on Fox News multiple times as well as several other conservative news outlets. The compound has more than 20 trailer homes spread across hundreds of acres and its own mosque. According to the Christian Action Network, a watchdog group who monitors Islamic jihad training camps within the U.S., the commune holds approximately 100 Muslim men of military fighting age.
“We’ve been keeping around the clock surveillance on the compound,” said APART leader, Rob Remus. “Our intel led us to believe they were plotting an attack on our nation’s birthday. Since our government refuses to act, we took it upon ourselves to protect the country we love. That’s what patriots do.”

Remus said the excitement of the pre-dawn raid is helping keep morale high among militia members, even though their mission failed to close the camp or arrest a single suspected terrorist. “I’m sure once the adrenaline wears off we will pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and piece together what went wrong.”
A spokesperson for The Charlotte County Sheriff’s office told the AP no charges have been filed as of Tuesday. “These people are American citizens, have broken no laws, and there is absolutely no reason for this rogue militia group to harass them in any way,” the spokesperson said.
APART member, Del Wilkes, said he’s not afraid of facing possible felony charges, and would raid the compound again to keep America safe from radical Islam. “Our own government is aiding and abetting these terrorists,” said Wilkes. “We intend to keep up surveillance until new leadership takes over in Washington. Until then we’re keeping ‘em locked and loaded.”

Charlotte County locals told Scooper reporters they have had no problems with the Muslim group MOA, in fact, the folks we spoke with would like to see APART leave the area. “These wanna be G.I. Jokes need to get a life,” said James Duggan from nearby Red House. “They’d be better off joining a bowling league or something; at least they’d get some exercise because it looks like they could use it.”
Larry Pfohl, also from Red House, agrees. “This was a peaceful place until these so-called patriots started showing up around here with more guns then teeth. They don’t spend any money in the community, so there really isn’t one single reason to put up with these yeehawdists. It’s time for APART to depart,” Pfohl said.
According to the Counter Jihad Report, there are at least 22 active jihad training camps in the U.S.

A former member of the Army National Guard living in Sterling, Va., is accused of trying to plan a domestic terrorist attack on behalf of the Islamic State.

Mohamad Bailor Jalloh was arrested Sunday and charged with attempting to provide material support to the terrorist organization, according to papers filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia.

Jalloh, a native of Sierra Leone, is a U.S. citizen. He quit the National Guard after listening to the lectures of deceased radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, according to court documents, and became involved in planning a terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
Moved to look up Awlaki’s lectures online after hearing the cleric referred to in the news media as a “hate preacher,” Jalloh found himself persuaded to take violent action, according to court papers.

Jalloh later said he would like to carry out an attack in the style of Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 people in a 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Tex., according to the affidavit filed in federal court. He also praised Mohammad Youssef Abdulazee, who killed five U.S. service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., last year. And Jalloh at one point suggested that someone known for organizing contests for cartoons of the prophet Muhammad would make a good target.

“You have to pick a action and take it cuz time is not on your side,” he wrote to an ally, according to the affidavit.

Jalloh appeared briefly in court on Tuesday. A slim but muscular young man with a small beard, he spoke softly, saying only “Yes, sir” when asked if he had agreed to a delay in his detention hearing.

Defense attorney Ashraf Nubani said he could not comment on the case at this time. In court, he said “We don’t expect bond to be granted in this case. . .but he deserves a fair chance.”

Prosecutor John T. Gibbs said Jalloh was arrested Sunday morning.

Jalloh purchased a Glock handgun in February but was unsuccessful in trying to buy an assault rifle in Charlotte, N.C., last month, according to the documents.

While under FBI surveillance on July 1, Jalloh visited Blue Ridge Arsenal, a gun store and indoor target range in Chantilly, Va. He attempted to purchase a Bushmaster AR-15 but did not have the required three forms of identification, court papers said. He told staffers he would return the next day.

“As soon as he walked out the door, the FBI came in,” said Earl Curtis, the store’s owner, in an interview Tuesday. The FBI collected security camera footage and asked about Jalloh.

FBI agents informed the store’s manager that when Jalloh returned, the store should sell him a gun, but make it inoperable before he took ownership, said Curtis.

“They wanted to catch him in the act, so they said to go through with the purchase,” Curtis said. The store’s owner said Jalloh returned that evening and bought a different assault rifle for about $1,200. He test-fired the weapon at the range, after which an employee took the gun in the back and disabled it before returning it to Jalloh….

Fire Destroys Railroad Trestle, Train Traffic Affected From Los Angeles To New Orleans

A fire on a railroad trestle bridge shut down train traffic in Southwest Bexar County on Thursday night.

According to crews, flames broke out on the tracks near MacDonna LaCoste and Hackelberg Road at about 10 p.m.

The fire destroyed much of the hundred-foot long trestle, which runs over a creek. The railroad line where the fire occurred is a major line between Los Angeles and New Orleans.

Union Pacific, which owns the line, said no train traffic can cross through the area. Passengers on an Amtrak train in Del Rio told Sinclair Broadcast Group they've been stranded since 1 a.m.

Firefighters did not provide information on a possible cause of the fire.



Rail Bridge Fire Stops Amtrak Train, Slows Freight Traffic

An Amtrak passenger train carrying 155 passengers and a crew of 12 was forced to stop on the tracks near Del Rio, in south Texas due to a fire early Friday that badly damaged a key railroad bridge southwest of San Antonio., 1200 WOAI news reports.

Marc Magliari, a spokesman for Amtrak in Chicago, says the passenger line is chartering buses to bring the passengers to San Antonio.

He says the train, Amtrak's eastbound 'Sunset Limited' from Los Angeles to New Orleans, has been stopped since shortly after 1AM.

"We are taking care of the passengers," Magliari said. "They have food, everything on the train is working all the water, electricity, and air conditioning."

The fire broke out around midnight on the bridge that carries the railroad tracks used by the Sunset Limited near Macdona Texas, according to Jeff DeGraff of the Union Pacific Railroad.

A passenger on board called News Radio 1200 WOAI news to talk about the situation.

"The whole train smells like, excuse me, urine and feces," said the woman who asked not to be identified by name. "We can't even flush the toilet."

She says some passengers walked to a McDonald's in Del Rio, but that's the only food they've gotten.

"Passengers on the train have been used their own air fresheners, even their own perfumes, to try to clear the air," she said.

"It looks like about a third of the bridge will need to be replaced as soon as possible," DeGraff said. "This is a very important east west line for us."

DeGraff said not only does this rail line carry freight, as well as Amtrak passenger trains, across the south and southwest, it also connects to the main rail line south into Mexico, to bring freight north into the U.S.

"For right now, we do have some trains that are being rerouted on alternate lines, mainly going north into Dallas, then they can come back down to San Antonio," DeGraff said. "We also have some trains that have a little more flexibility in their schedule, and we have been able to hold those."

He says there is no 'firm estimate' on how long it will take to rebuild the section of railroad bridge that was damaged in the fire.

Bexar County fire crews who were called to fight the fire say they don't know how it started, but the 'trestle' style railroad bridge was fully engulfed in flames by the time they arrived. Nobody was injured in the fire.

New Jersey Man, 42, Is Arrested For 'Conducting Intelligence-Gathering Operations For Terrorist Group Hezbollah In Times Square, Boston's Fenway Park And The Capitol Building In Washington D.C.'

A New Jersey man has been accused of conducting intelligence-gathering operations for Hezbollah including in Times Square, Boston's Fenway Park and The Capitol building in Washington D.C.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Alexei Saab, 42, of Morristown was charged Thursday in a nine-count indictment for offenses related to his support for the terrorist outfit and separate marriage-fraud offenses.

He is alleged to have joined Hezbollah in 1996 before lawfully entering the US using a Lebanese passport in 2000 and becoming a naturalized citizen in 2008.

Locations including the United Nations headquarters, the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Empire State Building, and local airports, tunnels, and bridges are said to have been under his surveillance.

And Saab, arrested on July 9, is said to have provided detailed information on these locations to Hezbollah, including photographs and their structural weaknesses.

Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers said: 'According to the allegations, while living in the United States, Saab served as an operative of Hizballah and conducted surveillance of possible target locations in order to help the foreign terrorist organization prepare for potential future attacks against the United States.

'Such covert activities conducted on U.S. soil are a clear threat to our national security and I applaud the agents, analysts, and prosecutors who are responsible for this investigation and prosecution.'

Locations in Boston and Washington are also said to have been targeted by Saab, who authorities say has extensive firearms and bomb-making training.

He is even said to have attempted to murder a suspected Israeli spy but failed when the gun failed to go off twice, officials said.

'As a member of the Hizballah component that coordinates external terrorist attack planning, Alexei Saab allegedly used his training to scout possible targets throughout the U.S,' said U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman.

'Even though Saab was a naturalized American citizen, his true allegiance was to Hizballah, the terrorist organization responsible for decades of terrorist attacks that have killed hundreds, including U.S. citizens and military personnel. Thankfully, Saab is now in federal custody, and faces significant prison time for his alleged crimes.'

FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge William F. Sweeney Jr. said: 'As alleged, Saab began his training with Hizballah operatives overseas and, while living in the U.S., surveilled multiple locations in major cities.'

'I would like to thank the efforts of the investigators and our Counter-Terrorism law enforcement partners who worked tirelessly to assemble the case that prevents this individual from caring out his plans,' said NYPD Commissioner James P. O'Neill. 'This case sends a clear message of deterrence to all those who plot to promote violence here in the U.S. and abroad.'

Saab, also known as Ali Hassan Saab, Alex Saab, or Rachid, is charged with providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization and conspiracy to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

He is also charged with receiving military-type training from a designated foreign terrorist organization, conspiracy to receive military-type training from a designated foreign terrorist organization unlawful procurement of citizenship or naturalization to facilitate an act of international terrorism and marriage fraud conspiracy.

Other charges include citizenship application fraud, naturalization fraud and making false statements.

An Iranian national armed with knives has been detained by police in Palm Beach, Florida, and police bomb squads searched his car at the nearby airport.

The suspect, Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh, was identified by his passport while being taken into custody on Flagler Memorial Bridge on Friday morning.

He had in his possession $22,000 in U.S. currency, a machete and a pick ax, in addition to the knives, the Palm Beach Daily News reported.

Zoleh was arrested by three Palm Beach Police officers and two plainclothes officers who were reportedly from a different department.

An investigation is open, and local police are cooperating with federal authorities.

Public Information Officer Michael Ogrodnick revealed that authorities received a call about Zoleh and dispatched to the scene. Details regarding what the call entailed were not given.

Zoleh has been given a notice to appear in court, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The Palm Beach police department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com.

Police said that the man did not appear to have a fixed or known address.

There were also reports of police activity at Palm Beach International Airport, where sources say a bomb unit was called in to check the Iranian man's car at the airport's short term parking lot.

An 'all clear' was given at the airport on Friday afternoon and operations have returned to normal.

It comes days after Iranian officials offered an $80 million bounty for the murder of President Donald Trump.

The Flagler Memorial Bridge is about four miles from Trump's Mar-a-Lago club, but the president is currently at the White House in Washington DC.

Trump recently spent the holidays at Mar-a-Lago, and it is possible that he may return as soon as next weekend.

The FAA issued flight restrictions over Palm Beach airspace effective January 17 to 19, a typical indication that a presidential visit may be scheduled.






Cops call for arrest of Rep. Omar after armed Iranian national captured at Mar-a-Lago

In Palm Beach, FL Friday morning, an Iranian national was arrested about four miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago presidential retreat.

The man, identified as Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh on his passport, was armed with several knives, a machete and a pickax. Zoleh was arrested at Bradley Park, which is on the east end of the Flagler Memorial Bridge, according to Palm Beach police spokesman Michal Ogrodnick.

Police responded to a call at around 9:30 a.m. and found Zoleh, who also had $22,000 on him and had a car parked at the Palm Beach International Airport.

What might be most troubling about the entire thing is that just days ago, “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar called for Iran to go after Trump properties. Now that a real threat has been identified, cops around the country are calling for her to be arrested for inciting potential violence and threatening national security.

A Daily News photographer who was on the scene saw Zoleh being taken into custody by three Palm Beach police officers, along with two plainclothes officers whom he was told were from another agency. The man also had camping gear on him, according to the photographer. The Palm Beach Post published photos of the arrest.

The arrest on Friday morning came just days after Iran shot approximately twelve ballistic missiles at military bases in Iraq that house U.S. troops. This was in response to the United States airstrike that took out terrorist mastermind Qassem Soleimani, who was the head of the Iranian Quds Force, just outside Baghdad International Airport.

President Trump ordered the airstrike and taking out of Soleimani after U.S. intelligence sources developed information that Soleimani was planning terrorist activities against the United States embassy in Baghdad, as well as other countries.

Last week, insurgents attacked the embassy in Iraq, an attack that was subsequently repelled by a U.S. show of force, unlike what happened in Benghazi, Libya under the Obama administration.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, appearing on the Ingraham Angle on Fox News said Thursday that Soleimani was planning “a series of imminent attacks” when he was killed.

Pompeo also backed President Trump’s claim that the multi-billion-dollar payoff made to Iran by the Obama administration likely helped provide the resources that Iran used to launch the attack on the military bases.

On Wednesday, President Trump, in an address to the nation, which occurred the morning after the Iranian attack, said, “The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration.”

In September 2016, the Treasury Department acknowledged that $1.7 billion was transferred from the U.S. to Iran in foreign hard currency. An initial $400 million was sent to Tehran Jan. 17, the same day Iran released four American prisoners.

The remaining $1.3 billion was paid over a period of a few weeks. The initial payment was settlement of a 37-7ear-old dispute between the two countries over a $400 million payment made by the Shah of Iran, who was exiled during the embassy attack in 1979.

The U.S. also released billions of dollars in assets which belonged to Iran that were held in financial institutions around the world. This was basically all a bribe so that Iran would terminate its nuclear program, which it has continued in basically a move thumbing their nose at the United States.

The move was widely criticized, especially by Republicans who claimed that it showed weakness on the part of Obama. No real surprise there.

The timing of the latest incident comes on the heels of Congressman Ilhan Omar’s not so subtle suggestion in a tweet that the president’s properties worldwide might be a target.

Well, alrighty then. For someone who constantly uses terms like “dog-whistling”, this sure the heck seems like a not so veiled suggestion to Iraq that maybe Trump’s properties might be an attractive target.

Omar has made it quite clear that she throws down with America’s enemies. She also gained a little bit of controversy (shocker there) on Wednesday, when during a press conference, she said that the ongoing conflict with Iran have left her feeling “’a little bit ill’ because of everything that is taking place.”

PTSD?? Is this nut serious? She suffers from PTSD because a known terrorist was taken out and Iran “responded” by tossing a few missiles at rather harmless targets in Iraq?

This is a tremendous disservice to the brave men and women in our armed forces, who have seen and done things in their lives that would have her running and hiding under her bed. What a pure, unadulterated insult to our military.

During the same conference, after her “PTSD” had calmed down, Omar was seen laughing and giggling, talking to other Democrat colleagues while Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was talking about U.S. troops killed in war.

Rather than stand silently behind Lee as she spoke and actually showing her some respect, she actually became the center of attention when she began her laughing charade and turning around to speak to the other women Democrats on the stage.

Court testimony: “Squad” member Omar was recruited by foreign government, leaked info to Qatar and Iran.

Her stunt did not go unnoticed. Twitter lit up with people criticizing Omar for carrying on like a twelve-year-old school child while Lee was speaking.

In the past, when men and women of our military were in harm’s way, politicians at least supported them. They may not have supported their mission, or may not have supported the president, but they always stood behind our brave men and women in the military.

Not this bunch.

The so-called “squad” have shown that they are un-American and do not have the best interests of our country in mind, only their interest in pandering to the small constituency of brain-dead voters that elected them in the first place.
