    hehehehehe

thanks everyone. Sorry I didn't log in this weekend but, 5 Aug isn't just my birthday, it was my wedding anniversary as well. That particular occasion occured 30 years ago, yesterday.

She gave me a pretty new radio (I got to even pick it out) and I gave her a pretty new ring with three... umm kinda oversized diamonds. She's complaining that they dwarf her original wedding band and engagement ring set.

I said, "I can take it back and get something smaller if you like...."

"NO!!!!!!!!!" was the response. I wonder why

    Thanks again everyone.

wow... 1/2 a freakin' century. Damn, I don't FEEL that old. Matter of fact, I'm in better shape that 90% of the 30-somethings I know around here. I prove it every time I respond with our security folks for alarms. I usually beat them there, they are out of breath and I'm ready to go, but they are ready for CPR! lol

Happy birthday wishes my good friend. And Happy Anniversary. So what did you buy yourself?

And a Happy Anniversary to you and the Mrs. too! That's wonderful, 30 years. Mmmmm.......diamonds .....what a wonderful day it must have been.

Glad to hear you are taking good care of yourself too, Rick. To many people forget that their physical well being can often be one of their greatest assets, especially during an emergency.

I'm not so young myself at 47, but still have a daily workout that includes 200 sit-ups. I see a lot of 20 somethings that cannot even come close to that these days.

Way to go, Rick (getting Mrs. Rick that nice ring, I mean.) The radio is nice too.

Sorry I didn't wish you a happy B-Day/Anniversary earlier buddy. But I do hope you had a great day and enjoyed your time with the wife. It's quite a testiment that she has allowed you to live this long. She certainly qualifies for sainthood.

    See you online soon.

A beer and an ice cream sundae.

John Steinback called it a beer milkshake. Everybody should try one.
