While I was never a huge fan of Elvis Presly, it seems strange that he has been gone 30 years now.
I had gone to visit a musician friend of mine in Syracuse, New York. At the exact momment it was announced on the radio that Elvis had been found dead we were on the main hiway leading into town. In the opposite lane I watched as a man walked right in front of an oncoming truck! I will never forget that image as long as I live.
RIP Elvis Presly, and unknown pedestrian.
