Tuesday morning, 11 September 2001, I’d just returned to work from a previous week out in the field with the US Air Force Reserves, training and evaluating people.

I was sitting at my desk drinking a cup of coffee, catching up on the previous week’s emails that I’d not yet answered. Our Security Administrator came through the Security Door in my area, and looked agitated. In fact, he looked down right sick.

“Rick, we need you in Security. A plane just hit a building in New York,” he said.

I looked up from the computer and said, “BullShit…”.

“No, really. It just happened, we all need to meet in the Security Conference room.”

Shocked, and confused, I got up and followed him across the hall to our security and stood there observing our only, at the time, access to the news sources outside. CNN was showing the Twin Towers and smoke was coming out of it. A few seconds later, live, we watched as another plane slammed into the second tower. I was confused.

“Was that a replay?” I asked.

No one answered. Then someone said, “No, there is smoke coming out of one of the buildings already…” and his voice trailed off.

It was the sudden realization that this was not an accident, and those planes had been directed, somehow, into the two buildings that was leaving our entire Security team stunned. A few moments later, the Director of Security appeared, shaken as the rest of us were. He glanced around the room and said…

“What is going to happen next?”

I normally do not interject my opinion at a time like this since I’m not really a “terrorism expert”, but I have been right about many things. This was certainly one of them. For years before 9-11 I’d talked about this very sort of attack, something spectacular, devastating and evil happening. No one listened, or if they did listen, it was only with “half an ear”.

I reached deep and said, “White House, Capitol Building and the Pentagon next…”.

Silence met my words, then the Director of Security said, “What? Why do you think that?”

“Easy… simple. This is a terrorist attack. They’ve hit America’s finacial center. If it were me, I’d hit the head of government, and the head of the military. The Pentagon, the White House and the Capitol Buildings are at risk. I hope someone else is thinking like me.”

About fourty minutes later reports of “an explosion at the Pentagon” started coming through. The rest is history. Three thousand people died that day, including those who just happened to have gotten on those airplanes that day. One plane was forced to the ground by American heros who figured out what was happening and stopped it before even worse things could happen. It is a reasonable guess that the plane that was forced to the ground in Pennslyvia was destined to hit the White House. Or perhaps the Capitol Building. The latter is a very large target from the sky, as Google Earth can show you, whereas the White House is a bit less dramatic.

Even so, some things I talked about with friends and other site posters in the past actually came true and it’s horrible. People will forget what happened that day, children, those of ours who will someday be “in charge” of the future will not have lived through it and will not understand. Some Americans today want us to “get out of Iraq” and claim Iraq had no connection with terrorism.

Shame on those Americans, and if we let our children forget what happened on September 11th, 2001, or who killed them, then shame on us.

Never forget. Never Surrender.

I was hanging kitchen cabinets at work, going for break when I turned on the radio and heard that a plane had hit the World Trade Center buildings. I figured it was a small plane, like a Cessna and didn't pay much attention until I got to the shop for break, by then all hell had broken loose. I remember going home for lunch, watching the North Tower fall and wondering how many lives I had just watched being extingushed, felt sick to my stomach but went back to work.

By the end of the day we were putting up barracades and were closing the entrance to the facility. I will always remember watching the southwest sky waiting for a big flash over Whiteman AFB.

The local gas stations immediatly raised prices $2 a gallon, but by the next afternoon had repriced back to same levels. By the afternoon of the 11th we were told to take all the State vehicles and fill them with gasoline.

I called my kids that evening, my son was pretty shook up, being a little older than my daughter. My daughter however was pissed and asked me if we would go to war with someone. I told her most likely we would. I told them all they could do was to keep their eyes open and be aware of the their surroundings.

I suppose it is human nature to remember when life changing events happen. For me it has been

I noticed on the new calender that my wife put up September 11th is in red and listed as Patriot Day. Did I miss that day being declared a National Holiday?

We evacuated here by about 10 Am local time, which would have been around noon in DC/NY.

We were getting NORAD reports about unconfirmed aircraft coming into our area, and the decision was made to evacuate the buildings here -- based on the fact that we were still reseach and development, and not active at the time.

The thought, I think was to preserve knowledge in the case of something bigger. In fact, many of us were waiting for the first "flash" somewhere and believed it would be over Omaha.

It is three minutes from the second plane hitting the second tower as I write this.... I was already across the hall, or moving out of the door at this point.

I walked in and looked at the TV, trying to understand what I was seeing. A few moments later, I watched as the second plane hit, live. Confusion set in, and shock around the room. No one said anything for a few moments, then all hell broke loose.

Eventually, we were ordered out of the building, even though many planned to remain. I went home and my family was already converging on the house.

At that point, I told everyone to fill their gas tanks, so we filled all our vehicles (damn that was a big check I wrote that day!) went back to my house and decided on what we were doing. Business as normal, unless more attacks occurred, and if that happened we had a "get out of town plan" and a place to meet. Those plans still exist today.

Weapons were loaded, and everyone was prepared to do what had to be done.

We honestly were expecting more attacks and figured that the planes were a precursor to something like a Chinese or Russian missile attack.

Everyone was relieved when that didn't happen, but we can never rule those things out in the future.

Life is different today. It's more.... important now, and each of us had a little part of ourselves leave that day, never to return. We all still live our lives, day to day, perhaps as we did before, but each of us knows deep down, the attacks of 9-11 could happen again.

And I want to say one other thing.

All the 9-11 conspiracy theorists should be deeply, horribly ashamed of themselves for attempting to push lies on the public, with the various stories they continue to tell.

One of the reasons I finally left Anomalies was over those people, and their ascinine crap, and the losers who continue even to this day to give them a voice.

The ONLY conspiracy that counts, is the one that took the lives of so many Americans, and people from other countries, six years ago today.

It's 7:10, my time. And seven minutes ago, my time the second plane would have already hit.

Tomorrow is a new day in America. It was a new day, eight years ago as well when I came into work and then watched as thousands died in premeditated attacks against the United States of America and her people.

Not just Americans died in that attack. Dozens of people from foreign countries also died in the planes and the towers. And not one man among the hijacker was an American. Most were from Saudi Arabia, a country that today has still not felt any effect from the attacks on the US.

The Saudis continue to hold "trust" with the US Government and remain "aloof" over the 9-11-01 attacks.

Instead, we invaded Afghanistan, the later, Iraq on the basis of state support of terrorism, and weapons of mass destruction. Both countries have been in turmoil ever since - and Bin Laden, perhaps dead long ago, has never been located, found, disposed of, nor have we located his remains or evidence that he is still alive.

America has lost another 4000 plus lives over this on-going conflict with no apparent end in sight.

What has become of the United States in the mean time? The country has divided deeply in the middle, moderates have moved either right or left. There are few of them left.

People are dead set against the war, or absolutely dead on for it. I fall in the latter category and think we didn't go far enough. I personally believe that obliterating the Muslim religion isn't good enough. Do I believe all Muslims are bad? No, of course not and I don't believe in genocide either. But, when it comes down to it, there aren't many GOOD Muslims either. It comes down to who believes in killing Americans though.

I won't ever forget. I hope you don't either.

America is in trouble, we're inundated with Socialists and Marxists. There are those who want the Muslims (the bad ones) to win. There's a lot of yelling, screaming over health care and no one has mentioned tomorrow being the anniversary of the murder of so many innocent Americans.

I'm mentioning it. Don't forget it. Don't let others forget what happened.

I had the day off and was getting ready to go to Atlanta Motor Speedway. I was thinking about buying a Legends Car. I ended up sitting in my Lazy Boy in front of the TV until noon or so. I almost didn't go to the track. Well, I went and test drove one of the cars. I didn't buy it. Eventually, I spent the money on a Motor Home. Hey, the motor home has a 454 in it. Don't tell anybody, but in the winter, I sometimes fire up the 454 and let it run for hours. Anything I can do to contribute to global warming. Hey, hey, hey! I am an Earth First kind of guy. We can drill for oil on other planets later.

Anyhow, I had to go to Canada on business sometime after 911. Don't tell anybody this too, but I brought back some cuban cigars. I was in Atlanta waiting to change planes. They Airport has a smoking section. So, I was sitting in the room having a smoke and a couple Soldiers walked in and sat down across from me. One guy was older and a Private. I was in, so I figured he got an Article 15 or something. I got to talking to them and I asked the Privatge when he joined. He told me the day after September 11th. He told me he lost a friend there. I had a voice in my head say reach in the bag and give him your best cubans. I had another voice say, no he is a liar and I am saving them for a special occassion. The first voice says, give him them cigars or I will never speak to you again. Well, I didn't want to not talk to myself. I kinda like me. So, I gave him two of my best cubans. I want to remember this guys face for the rest of my life. I want to remember that moment too. That was a special occassion.

“Never Forget” … Just A Token Phrase

Going through the various news sites I’ve come to the conclusion that the do-do we’re in because of Barack Obama and company is pretty damn deep. Let’s see, ISIS has taken everything in Iraq that thousands of Americans fought and died for courtesy of Mr. Obama. We know now that Obama knew about ISIS building strength for a minimum of a year and up to four years. Creating a ‘vacuum’ by pulling all troops only to be filled by something as worse if not more than when Saddam Hussein was in power. Obama, who couldn’t find himself in a mirror says he has no strategy to deal with ISIS. The group makes very credible claims to be in America right now, made credible by the border being wide open and nearly all illegals welcomed here and distributed around the country. One doesn’t have to be a genius to walk across the border from Mexico into America … I suppose if “unaccompanied” toddlers can walk across, a half-wit adult can just as easily, especially when the border patrol can’t question them.


Obama can’t figure out how to deal with ISIS. They don’t have an air force or a navy … seems elementary to me. Obama blathers about getting the international community involved. This guy just can’t get past the “community organizing” thing. In 2007 Barack said he would make America safer when he was campaigning.

“…Well I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated, not only does the country look at itself differently, but the world looks at America differently. If I’m reaching out to the Muslim world, they understand that I’ve lived in a Muslim country and I may be a Christian, but I also can understand their point of view. I think that the world will have confidence that I am listening to them. That will ultimately make us safer…”

We know of a certainty that Obama isn’t “listening to them.” If he is then I have this question … They continually threaten America, they’ve beheaded a couple of American journalists and say they’re going to fly the ISIS flag over the White House … what are you doing about it?


They know Obama is not just an empty suit, but he sympathizes with they’re cause … to form a caliphate or Islamic state where Sharia Law is supreme. While Obama drivels the phony “Islam is tolerant of all religions, helps the poor and honors the dignity of all human beings,” they’re raping, pillaging, executing and beheading thousands of people, recording the atrocities for the world to see.


Barack Obama absolutely is the enemy of America. He’s an eminent danger to every citizen in the United States. His actions speaks volumes much louder than his rhetoric.

He and the Islamists know of a certainty that Americans have a pre 9/11 mentality right now. We’re focused on the Ice Bucket Challenge and gay football players. We’re more worried about the names of football teams being “offensive” or “racist,” while the deaths of countless Americans are being plotted right now. The motto “Never Forget” after 9/11/2001 is simply a token phrase manifested 6 years ago when Barack Obama was ushered into the White House.

This was apparently made in 2011 for the 10th anniversary of the attack but I don't recall seeing it before.

It is a story about the largest boatlift of people in history. Larger than Dunkirk in WW2 where 339,000 French and British soldiers were evacuated over 9 days, 500,000 were evacuated in less than 9 hours from Manhattan.
