Oh, and having suffered an apparent stroke, Kim has re-started smoking cigs, cigars, and hard liquor again. (previous long term vices) (Photo evidence from the last 2 months) This to me says he's accepted his fate and given in to the very cardiac/vascular risks that will speed up that process of exiting this world.

So the Iranian people are uprising, the Iranian Gov is cracking down and there is a warning out they could be heading to martial law. N. Korea is belligerant as hell, we're tailing a suspect ship of theirs and they've warned if we stop it they'll retaliate, they're on the verge of a 7/04 long range missle test in Hawaii's direction.
Iran and N. Korea could both escalate at the same time. Gonna be a touch and go next couple weeks.

We won't step in to the middle of a martial law action- not in Iran for sure.
I don't think we will actually board the ship, I think Obama told them to "Keep an eye on them" and thats that.
Will the launch a missile? Yes. Will it hit Hawaii? Nope. Two reasons, the first reason is it will fail a minute or so into launch.... don't ask me how I know this.
If it doesn't fail... we can and will shoot it down....
If we miss (we won't) it won't make it to the territorial limit of Hawaii....

I wish. Ask the guys from SEAL patrol call sign Mako 31. The al qaeda and taliban are better trained, WAY more motivated, and almost as well armed as the paki army. what they lack in armament, they make up for in mobility and in ingenuity.
Theres a reason taliban controlled territory keeps inching eastward towards islamabad. The paki army isnt fit to stay the fight. eventually, they are going to lose. its not if, its just a matter of how long. the only thing propping them up at the moment is air power, and US aid.
They have other problems too. over 60 percent of paki's support the taliban, not islamabad. big problems right there. also, the pakis themselves are so infiltrated with taliban and al qaeda, that the upper and middle tiers of their govt and military do everything they can to sabotage any serious efforts mounted against al qaeda and taliban elements.

I was being sarcastic (and I actually knew that little tidbit, Michael).
This thread by the way is an open thread, open discussion in it about all things going on in the hear-and-now.
I think we ought to start using it as a sounding channel.
You hear something, talk about it here.
For example, for the past few weeks I've had this horrible "Impending Doom" feeling. It's all starting to come to pass.

Socialists are IN THE HOUSE.
We're ignoring real terrorists, refusing to name them for what they are and going after "militia people" or real American Patriots as "kooks".
