Venezuela Could Be The First Buyer Of Russia's Su-35 Fighter
Venezuela could be the first buyer of Su-35 fighter, ITAR-TASS reported with reference to Sergey Chemezov, chief of Russia's state weapons exporter Rosoboronexport.

Chemezov said they held special presentation for Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez and the military and president of Venezuela admired the jet.

Venezuela is buying Russia's Su-30MK2; the consignment includes 24 jets. Rosoboronexport plans to set to detailed talks about Su-35 deliveries once the supplies of Su-30MK2 are completed.

One-seat heavy multi-purpose Su-35 could be viewed as direct evolution of Su-27, differing from it in the variable thrust vector, new radioelectronic devices and weapons. Its western analogue is the U.S. F/A-18E Super Hornet.
