Saw some of the first picts on TV. Looks like they landed right on top of a smattering of water ice just under the soil. The mission engineers were flipping out, acting like 1st graders with halloween candy.

    Hahaha.

Well, I had so many running through my head, including "Faster, better, cheaper" to "Holy Hoagland batman" that I didn't know where to start - then there was "Well, it's a bloody conspiracy" hahaha

What can I say. I have been HOPING for a day when this would happen to prove "Panspermia".

You know I came up with that theory when I was like 7 or 8... and then some damned scientist stole it from someone that I told, who pooh-poohed what a little kid would say.

    I hated being a smart kid. So now, I'm just a smart-ass.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.
