Folks are always willing to sign something that "bans" something. After all, why would anyone want to ban something that's good? DDT was banned, wasn't that a good thing? I mean, if you're into population control, it was fabulously successful.

An observation...
It would seem that people are voting yes because they think of it as a religion or no because they think it is a cult (no idea if there have been any no votes for another reason). The overall conclusion with either vote is that environmentalism is a belief system and not science.
