This Thanksgiving, President Obama is calling for Americans to lend a helping hand to another group of pilgrims fleeing persecution.
“Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims – men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families,” Obama said in his weekly address Thursday. “What makes America America is that we offer that chance.”
The president praised Americans who have offered to open their homes to refugees fleeing war-torn Syria.
“One woman from Pennsylvania wrote to me to say, ‘Money is tight for us in my household. … But I have a guest room. I have a pantry full of food. We can do this,’” Obama said.
“Another woman from Florida told me her family’s history dates back to the Mayflower — and she said that welcoming others is part of ‘what it means to be an American,’ ” he added.
Obama called for citizens to put the “generosity” of America on full display by welcoming refugees into the country with arms wide open.
“I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, surrounded by loved ones and full of joy and gratitude,” he said. “And together, may we all play our own small part in the American story, and write a next chapter that future generations can be thankful for.”
The House passed a measure earlier this month making it more difficult for Syrian refugees fleeing the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) to enter the country.
Republicans have cast doubt on whether refugees can be properly vetted to ensure that they are not terrorists.

ISIS is responsible for spreading a flesh eating bug across Syria according to the Kurdish Red Crescent.
Human rights workers have said that more than 500 cases of Leishmaniasis disease have been reported in Syria over the past 12 months.
Dilqash Isa of the Kurdish Red Crescent, said: 'As a result of abominable acts by ISIS that included the killing of innocent people and dumping their corpses in streets, this is the leading factor behind the rapid spread of Leishmaniasis disease.'

The World Health Organsiation has complained that the country's health service has collapsed as a result of the bitter civil war.
A Syrian Kurdish fighter claimed: 'We did not have knowledge about this deadly disease before. We have been fighting on the battlefield for almost four years and this disease basically generated from embattled areas of Tal Hamis, Hon and Qosa.'

According to the World Health Organisation, there are three main forms of the disease and are spread by more than 20 parasites:
Cutaneous Leishmaniasis: This is the most common form of the disease and causes ulcers on exposed parts of the body. It can also lead to disfigurement, permanent scarring, stigma and disability.
Visceral Leishmaniasis: This is the most severe form of the disease and can be fatal if left untreated. The disease targets the major organs and causes irregular bouts of fever, weight loss as well as enlargement of the liver and spleen.
Mucocutaneous Leishmaniasis: This is the most destructive form of the disease, eating away at the mucous membranes of the nose, mouth and throat.

Congress is set to vote on Thursday on what some have called an “unprecedented” right that would allow immigrants easier access to relocate to the United States, according to new legislation offered by a Democratic senator.
The legislation, which is being offered by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D., Vt.) as an amendment to a larger bill governing nuclear safety, would prohibit the U.S. government from barring any individual from entering the country based on their religion.
The bill comes amid a fierce national debate about immigration to America, particularly for individuals coming from Muslim-majority nations. Critics of the Obama administration’s refugee plan, which would permit up to 10,000 Syrians into the country, maintain that there are not enough oversight measures in place to ensure that immigrants are not linked to terrorists or various terror organizations, such as the Islamic State.

"A US State Department official admitted on Thursday that US President Barack Obama's administration is not sure where thousands of foreigners in the US who had their visas pulled over terror suspicions currently are.
Michele Thoren Bond, assistant secretary for the Bureau of Consular Affairs, made the admission at a House oversight hearing that was investigating immigrant vetting processes so as to prevent terror attacks, reports Fox News.
Bond said that the US had revoked over 122,000 visas since 2001, including 9,500 over terrorism concerns.
When Committee chairman Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) asked Bond to clarify about the present location of those who had their visas pulled, she admitted, "I don't know."
"You don’t have a clue do you?," said Chaffetz.
During the committee meeting, administration officials were questioned regarding the measures being taken to prevent Muslim terrorists from entering the US, in a discussion on the background checks of migrants.
US Citizenship and Immigration Services director Leon Rodriguez stated that background checks including those of social media activity are not being done on a large scale, and did not specify when the checks do take place.
"If half the employers are doing it in the United States of America, if colleges are doing it for students, why wouldn't Homeland Security do it?" said Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA). "We don't even look at their public stuff, that's what kills me."
The line of questioning has particular pertinence given that one of the Muslim terrorists who pledged loyalty to Islamic State (ISIS) before launching a lethal shooting spree in San Bernardino, California earlier this month entered the US on a K-1 fiancee visa last year.
That entry was permitted despite the fact that the FBI says she was already radicalized, having discussed jihad and martyrdom with her future husband who she carried out the attack with.
Obama is currently facing large criticism over his plan to bring in tens of thousands of Syrian migrants without a strict vetting process in place to ensure terrorists do not infiltrate their ranks. Reportedly many of the migrants who have recently been let in the country already have gone missing.

Americans First rally in Lancaster, PA yesterday. “Vets B4 Refugees”
Two weeks ago I met a young man from Lancaster, PA, a vet who had done tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. I asked him if he knew Muslim refugees were being resettled in Lancaster and he said NO! (expressing shock).
He may know more now thanks to the good work of the Patriotic Liberty League which held a rally in Lancaster yesterday. (Click herefor our earlier report) See the extensive coveragehere at PennLive, a large paper out of Harrisburg. And, be sure to watch the videos!
Of course the spin from the reporting was that the pro-refugee advocates (in support of more Muslim migration to Lancaster) outnumbered those opposed. Make no mistake, by their support for more Middle Easterners and Africans for Lancaster, they are supporting the inevitable arrival of demands forSharia compliance in the workplaceand in government programs.
Church World Service(bringing Muslims to PA) is a multi-million dollar federal resettlement contractor. Learn more about them here (they are lobbying for 100,000 Syrian, mostly Muslim, refugees to be admitted to the US before the end of this year.) It is because of Church World Service that I began writing Refugee Resettlement Watchback in 2007.
More than 200 people rallying in support of refugees coming to the midstate at times drowned out speeches by those calling for a halt to them in front of Church World Service in Lancaster Saturday afternoon.
About 40 people showed up on the side of the “End the Influx of Refugees” rally in Lancaster, arguing for an “America first” policy and said money should be spent helping people here in need, rather than on helping refugees come here.
The two groups chanted at times back and forth across King Street, but it was a peaceful three-hour protest. Eight Lancaster police officers kept watch over the group, including three on horseback.
John Rentschler of Berks County, one of the anti-rally organizers, said, “I believe we can help these refugees, and should, but we should do it over there,” referring to their home countries.
He also said the Gulf Arab states should be doing more to help the refugees, and that they should be trained to form a militia “to take back their country.”

Remember two years ago the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement assured an audience in Lancaster that there was no RESISTANCE to seeding towns with refugees and immigrants in Pennsylvania.
By the way, we heard from one of the pro-refugee demonstrators in a comment to my earlier post and this is what I asked of him:
For the record, so, you don’t have a minutes doubt about admitting large numbers of Islamists to Lancaster? No where is there a little niggling concern in your mind about the treatment of women and gays in the Islamic world? Do you think all of that is made up? Or, do you think that centuries of prejudice on their part will magically disappear once you give them a hug in that mythical American melting pot?
Over the years I’ve invited Leftists to explain to my readers (via a guest column) why they believe the US taxpayer must welcome mass third world migration to America. Will you write such a guest post? If you agree though, you can’t do the usual emotional appeal (country of immigrants blather) and you can’t call those who disagree with you racists, xenophobes, Islamophobes, bigots etc. Could you do that? Just explain in logical terms why it is good for America. Also, be sure to tell us if you have any limits. Is there some number in your mind that would be too many? Or, do you think our borders should just be dissolved? I really want to know. Even if you don’t take me up on the offer of a guest column (no one ever has),I and my readers really want to know your answer to my last question—do you have any number in mind that would be too many migrants? Or, should America just be erased?
I urge all of you, confronted by those who welcome mass migration to America, to ask those last questions. (Silence!) We all know that if America’s borders were erased, we would be a third-world hell-hole in a matter of months.
Hordes of Central Americans continue infiltrating the United States through the Mexican border with three ports of entry seeing a mind-boggling 500% increase in illegal immigrants during the first months of fiscal year 2016 compared to the same period in 2015, according to government records.
The Boquillas, El Paso, Texas and Yuma, Arizona entry ports experienced the inconceivable 500% hike in Central Americans during the first two months of fiscal year 2016 compared to 2015, U.S. Border Patrol figures show. El Paso and Yuma are notoriously busy crossings, but Boquillas is in the more remote Big Bend National Park vicinity of Texas and has only been opened two years. After consulting with its Mexican counterparts, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced it was opening Boquillas to fill a “void” created by a long stretch of border—between Presidio and Del Rio—with no port of entry. The agency created after 9/11 to keep the nation safe assured that it would maintain “robust border security in the area” surrounding the new border crossing.
The agency’s own statistics certainly contradict that, showing that the southern border region is as porous and vulnerable as ever. Other entry ports that saw large hikes in Central American illegal immigrants during the first two months of this fiscal year include Del Rio, Texas (269%), El Centro, California (216%) and Rio Grande Valley, Texas (154%). The Border Patrol breaks the stats down by “family unit” and illegal immigrants under the age of 18, referred to as “Unaccompanied Alien Children” or UAC. The Rio Grande Valley port of entry topped the list in both categories with 8,537 family units and 6,465 UACs during the two-month period. In all, the nation’s nine southern border crossings saw an average of 173% increase in family units and a 106% increase in minors during the short period considered.
Some of the illegal immigrants are Mexican nationals, but the overwhelming majority comes from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. The government records show that somehow 4,450 family units from El Salvador evaded our topnotch border security and entered the United States in a period of only two months. Guatemala and Honduras had 3,934 and 3,203 respectively. Mexico had 538 family units. Of interesting note is that, during this period, the Border Patrol reports 35,234 apprehensions in the region of foreigners labeled by the government as “Other Than Mexican” or OTM. This is a term used by federal authorities to refer to nationals of countries that represent a terrorist threat to the U.S.
Judicial Watch has been a leader in exposing the serious threat created by OTMs entering the U.S. through the long susceptible Mexican border. Last fall Homeland Security sources told JW that four ISIS terrorists, who had infiltrated the U.S. through Mexico, were arrested in McAllen and Pharr, Texas. Over the summer JW reported that Mexican drug cartels are smuggling foreigners from countries with terrorist links into a rural Texas town near El Paso. Earlier this month JW broke a story about five young Middle Eastern men being apprehended by the Border Patrol in an Arizona town just 30 miles from the Mexican border. Two of the men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call DHS for backup.
The U.S. Has a Massive Asylum Fraud Problem No One Talks About
Until her 2013 arrest in Texas, the Mexico City-based Nepalese smuggler Rakhi Gauchan was one of the most prolific kingpin smugglers of Islamic world migrants that federal agents had seen in years.
During her long career, Gauchan delivered scores of Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Indians to the Texas and Arizona borders. Ten or more every month, according to court filings from her case. Immigration and Customs Enforcement “special interest alien” (SIA) hunters were glad to finally remove her from the borderlands, because Gauchan confided to an undercover government agent that she believed a Pakistani client she had smuggled into Arizona was a bonafide terrorist. ICE agents rushed to track down the Pakistani, learning he was quite real and living in America, having gained political asylum.
They learned he had come from the embattled Kashmir region of India and Pakistan, a notorious magnet for the global Islamic jihadists. Court records conspicuously omit reference to whether the agents confirmed Gauchan’s hunch. However, they did disclose that Gauchan had regularly helped clients like the suspected Pakistani terrorist obtain the most cherished of illegal immigration door prizes: U.S. political asylum enabling permanent residency and American citizenship.
The Gauchan case, and other SIA smuggling prosecution cases I examined as part of my Naval Postgraduate School thesis research on illegal immigration from Muslim nations, demonstrate that these smugglers literally count on the ease of defrauding the U.S. asylum system to buoy illicit businesses that make terrorist border infiltration possible.
Improving America’s ability to detect and prosecute asylum fraud would help devastate SIA smuggling, and would reduce the chance that any terrorist border infiltrator can stay and plot with legal top cover.
America’s ineffectiveness at detecting asylum fraud is embroidered into long-haul SIA migrant smuggling to the U.S.-Mexico border from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Illegal immigration by air, land, and sea to the U.S.-Mexico border bears an uncanny similarity to how up to six of the November 13 Paris terrorists reached, and then breached, the common external European border. They claimed asylum under false identities to mount their attacks.
For these reasons, asylum fraud is a fourth key attackable fail point of the SIA smuggling networks. (Click these for the three fail points previously covered here at PJ Media: the catch, rest and release policies of Mexico and Panama; Latin America’s foreign diplomatic stations in Islamic terrorism-spawning countries; and the kingpin smugglers.) I offer this research for the day American homeland security authorities decide they want to reduce the chance of a Paris-like border infiltration attack here.
The Gauchan case is one of many that show how SIA smugglers rely on asylum fraud. But it is instructive to first know a little about the asylum system:
When an immigrant reaches the U.S. border, they can go to any official and verbally request asylum. That alone triggers the system. A U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officer will conduct a 45-minute interview (usually by telephone) to determine whether the migrant’s story on just its face merits a positive “credible fear” determination that they may suffer discrimination or political persecution if returned to their home countries.Almost everyone gets the “credible fear” thumbs-up.
This then triggers a legal asylum process that typically stretches over months and often years. With their hearing dates in hand, some portion of credible-fear SIAs may or may not undergo FBI security interrogations.
All but a very few hard cases then get released on bond with permission to work until the hearing months and years down the road.
So an asylum claim at the southwestern border often provides the only chance for SIAs to gain legal status and in-country time for … whatever. Most importantly, the asylum process's warm embrace ensures that SIAs avoid the devastating loss of smuggling investment fortunes a deportation portends.
For those reasons, SIA smugglers like Gauchan are compelled to incorporate the promise of asylum into the services they sell on the front end, and to become arm-chair experts in how to game the system. Working the asylum process helps not only to ensure future client recruitment (when the folks back home learn their predecessors gained asylum) but also basic business continuity.
This helps explain why Gauchan, and many other SIA smugglers, routinely instructed clients to claim asylum as soon as they could find a U.S. border official.
Familiar with what the credible fear interviewers needed to hear, she provided clients with the stories of woe and persecution most likely to play well. She undoubtedly gave a good whopper to the Pakistani she thought was a terrorist.
But Gauchan also knew when the system would exclude one of her clients. For instance, Italy had already rejected one Pakistani client, an automatic disqualifier. But knowing this, and also that American and Italian intelligence share information, Gauchan advised her client not to tell about the Italian denial, and to change the story he had used in Italy.
We have known for a long time how easy it is to get away with asylum fraud, and yet nothing has been done to improve detection or the prosecution numbers. A 2008 GAO survey of asylum officers showed that 75 percent believed “they needed additional training to help them detect fraud, conduct security checks and assess the credibility of asylum seekers.” In 2014, four Republican congressmen asked the GAO to investigate the asylum process after a leaked DHS report showed that up to 70 percent of cases contained proven or possible fraud.
It would take no professional acting experience for an ISIS terrorist from war-torn Syria and Iraq to game the system with a story of woe. Other Islamic terrorists already have shown how easy it is. I have many examples, but I’ll leave you with the one involving the Texas-prosecuted Somali smuggler Ahmad Muhammad Dhakane, who until 2008 ran a smuggling network from Brazil to Texas.
According to court records, Dhakane always instructed his clients in the art of how to fraudulently claim asylum to American authorities upon arrival.
Dhakane would later admit he had transported seven Somali jihadists over the southwestern border equipped with his asylum fraud advice, sending the FBI on a mad nationwide scramble to find them all.
They never could.
When Dhakane decided to retire from smuggling in 2008, he crossed from Mexico into Texas and claimed asylum himself based on a fraudulent persecution tale that omitted his own extensive terrorism ties. Prosecutors eventually convicted Dhakane of asylum fraud for (naturally) not revealing that he had been a guerrilla fighter for the terrorist group AIAI, and that he had worked as a ranking “hawaladar,” a facilitator of transferring terrorist funding, for senior AIAI leaders -- one of whom was his uncle.
The Dhakane asylum fraud prosecution is a rarity.
I hope it doesn’t take a Paris-style attack occurring in Houston or Phoenix to make homeland security leadership reverse course on this fail point.

From Watchdog.org: As Texas officials spar with Obama administration lawyers over refugee resettlement, Amarillo is building Muslim “ghettos.”
Under federal refugee programs, the North Texas town has become home to more than 1,000 Mideast migrants – giving Amarillo the highest refugee ratio in the country.
“Our education system is overloaded with kids who can’t speak English. We have something like 22 languages spoken in our schools,” said William Sumerford, a local taxpayer activist.
City Commissioner Randy Burkett is considering a plan to halt further refugee settlements. Burkett could not be reached, but Mayor Paul Harpole isn’t optimistic about the city’s authority to push back.
“We’ve been a giving community, and it’s a huge disservice to bring in refugees in numbers that we’re not able to handle. We create small ghettos,” Harpole told Watchdog.org. Why do Somalis need their own government within American cities? It is about Sharia Law! This is how it begins!
“A group of Somalis came in to say they had elected a mayor of their community,” Harpole related. “Then another faction claimed they had their own leader. We come to find out that rival tribes — slaves and masters — were being settled together.”

Mayor Harpole said the city’s schools are particularly hard hit. “We have 660 (refugee) kids who don’t speak English and the U.S. Department of Education says they have to be at grade level within one year. It’s a ludicrous requirement — they don’t even know how to use the bathroom,” Harpole said. Washington pays schools $100 per refugee student per year.

City Commissioner Randy Burkett is considering a plan to halt further refugee settlements. Burkett could not be reached, but Mayor Paul Harpole isn’t optimistic about the city’s authority to push back.
“We’ve been a giving community, and it’s a huge disservice to bring in refugees in numbers that we’re not able to handle. We create small ghettos,” Harpole told Watchdog.org. Why do Somalis need their own government within American cities? It is about Sharia Law! This is how it begins!
“A group of Somalis came in to say they had elected a mayor of their community,” Harpole related. “Then another faction claimed they had their own leader. We come to find out that rival tribes — slaves and masters — were being settled together.”

Mayor Harpole said the city’s schools are particularly hard hit. “We have 660 (refugee) kids who don’t speak English and the U.S. Department of Education says they have to be at grade level within one year. It’s a ludicrous requirement — they don’t even know how to use the bathroom,” Harpole said. Washington pays schools $100 per refugee student per year.

WASHINGTON– The Obama administration has revived the maligned illegal immigrant “catch-and-release” policy of the Bush years, ordering Border Patrol agents not to even bother arresting and deporting many new illegal immigrants, the head of the agents’ labor union told Congress on Thursday.
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, said Homeland Security was embarrassed by the number of illegal immigrants not showing up for their deportation hearings, but instead of cracking down on the immigrants, the department ordered agents not to arrest them in the first place — meaning they no longer need to show up in court in the first place.
Mr. Judd said the releases are part of President Obama’s “priorities” program, which says he’s only worried about illegal immigrants who came across after Jan. 1, 2014. Mr. Judd said illegal immigrants without serious criminal convictions on their record only have to claim they came before 2014 — without even needing to show proof — in order to be released without ever being arrested.
“Immigration laws today appear to be mere suggestions,” Mr. Judd testified to the House Judiciary Committee’s immigration subcommittee. “That fact is well known in other countries.

South Carolina has been at the forefront of the battle against President Obama’s refugee resettlement plans for nearly a year, with grassroots activists fighting not only the White House but their own Republican Gov. Nikki Haley.
Since that time, it has become apparent to South Carolina conservatives, including many who voted for Haley, that she is a supporter of Obama’s drive to convert millions of recent immigrants into “new Americans” by the time he leaves office, using not only the United Nations refugee pipeline but also a steady influx of illegal immigrants from Central America.
Haley has supported the president’s plan to bring in refugees from jihadist hotspots like Syria and Iraq, the activists say, while also quietly embracing Obama’s resettlement of illegal Central American children in their state, using the family courts to secretly place them in communities without their knowledge or approval.
So now they’re taking their battle against Haley into the courtroom, filing a lawsuit against the governor, the State Department of Social Services, and two church-based organizations that help the government transplant refugees not only in South Carolina but dozens of cities and towns across America.
The suit seeks to halt all resettlement of refugees in South Carolina “until a full accounting of any and all federal money used in this program and specifically where it was allocated and how allocated (and) in which counties.”
South Carolina’s brouhaha over refugees erupted in March 2015 when a local newspaper ran an article “announcing” that World Relief Corp. planned to partner with churches and resettle about a dozen Syrians in the Spartanburg area. Secretary of State John Kerry dispatched his top refugee overseer, Assistant Secretary of State Anne Richard, to the Palmetto state to calm nerves.
Thus far no Syrians have been sent to Spartanburg and only three have been placed in the state, near Columbia.
The plaintiff in the civil case is Brian Bilbro, a husband and father of two young girls who lives near Columbia in Richland County and works in medical sales. He says he and other South Carolina families have not had their concerns addressed, or even taken seriously, by Haley’s administration or the state legislature.
“Over the past year I’ve really become aware and concerned about what’s going on in our world and our country and the fact that the Muslim states have really taken it up a notch toward Christians and people like myself,” Bilbro added. “I’m not an Islamophobe but I’m just observing and if anyone can’t look at Europe and see what’s happening there then they have their heads in the sand. These people are getting very aggressive and I look at my daughters not as people they can do what they want with. I want to protect them. I just said, somebody’s got to stand up and make a stand, so really I did it for our children and the children of our state.”
Bilbro attended a legislative committee hearing on refugees in Columbia last month but didn’t feel like his concerns were taken seriously by the lawmakers.
“One senator said it’s just the way the world is now, that we live in a more dangerous world, and tough luck. He didn’t care that 26 citizens had expressed their concerns,” Bilbro said. Haley endorses ‘amnesty’ candidate Rubio
Even though South Carolina is a heavily Republican state, with a key presidential primary looming on Saturday, it remains under the control of the establishment wing of the party, a fact that is borne out by the string of recent endorsements: South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham has endorsed Jeb Bush for president, while the state’s other senator, Tim Scott, has endorsed Marco Rubio, and Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., has endorsed Rubio.
But tea party-type activists say the most stunning betrayal has come from Haley. After first saying she would not endorse a candidate prior to the March 1 primary, Haley announced Wednesday she is falling in line with the other state Republican leaders and backing Rubio, author of the 2013 Gang of Eight immigration bill that conservatives called “amnesty.”
Just last month, Haley was quoted in the Washington Post saying: “Marco Rubio believes in amnesty, which I don’t.” She later walked back the comments when it was clear she had caused problems for the Rubio campaign in South Carolina.
The rise of Donald Trump in this state illustrates just how far from their base the one-time tea party darlings – Haley, Gowdy and Scott – have strayed.
According to the latest CNN/ORC poll, Trump is running away from the GOP pack in South Carolina while beating the drum against illegal immigration, Muslim immigration, and refugee resettlement.

It didn’t take the REPUBLICAN Governor long (apparently ready to endorse donor-class favoriteOpen Borders Marco) to martial his supporters to attempt to derail the resolution in the House. Here is the latest from Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart.

Marco Rubio (R-FL) for president, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam is trying to surreptitiously bury a migrant-stopping resolution that was passed overwhelmingly by the State Senate on Monday. The measure, which sailed through the full State Senate Monday on a 27 to 5 vote, is now pending in the House of Representatives, where it is expected to pass easily. But because of parliamentary tricks, it first faces a long, back-room journey through multiple committees before it can be approved by the House. In the heyday of the Tea Party movement the Koch brothers, obviously wishing to corral the Tea Party energy, created Americans for Prosperity. It all sounded good, AFP supported lower taxes and opposed Obamacare (which helped the Kochs’ bottomline), but there was one big problem with the group as we all learned as time went on—they were silent on one of the major motivating issues of the Tea Party, namely immigration. Charles and David Koch are open borders advocates.
The group, Americans for Prosperity, served as a shield (a sort of Tea Party stamp of approval) for Republicans apparently including Harwell and I expect Gov. Haslam as well. However, again, AFP (which has pretty much fizzled) never lifted a finger against amnesty, the Gang of Eight bill, and certainly never to curtail the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program.
Election 2016 is shaping up as a battle on the Republican side between those who want to limit immigration on behalf of American workers and those who don’t want to change the cultural make-up of their towns and cities; and those, like the Kochs, like Rubio and apparently like Governor Haslam who are in the pockets of the Chambers of Commerce and big business interests wanting the flow of cheap immigrant labor to continue. However, here at The Nation, Lawrence Bartlett, Director of Refugee Admissions at the US State Department, says they expect to get them in here and located in 48 states (they would like to make it 49 with Montana) before that deadline: Putting pins in the map? It’s common for resettlement numbers to start low and increase by the end of the fiscal year. Still, the difficulty the administration will have in admitting a mere 10,000 Syrians in a single year underscores the deep political challenges facing the Obama administration in responding to the ongoing Syrian civil war. In the months since the announcement, high-profile terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino have stoked anti-immigrant sentiment in the United States, and the already onerous refugee resettlement application process has become even more stringent for Syrians. Despite this, the State Department says it still plans to meet its goal. “We remain steadfastly committed to the President’s plan to resettle at least 10,000 Syrian refugees in the United States in FY [fiscal year] 2016,” said Lawrence Bartlett, director of the State Department’s Office of Refugee Admissions, in a statement to The Nation. “We have met our admissions goals for each of the last three years, and we are on target to meet the goal of admitting 10,000 refugees from Syria and 85,000 refugees from all over the world, by the end of this fiscal year.” (The State Department didn’t set specific goals for Syrian refugees until this year, and only 1,682 were admitted in FY 2015.)
Has the so-called “interview surge” started? Bartlett added that to meet the new goal, “from February through April, additional staff will be posted to Jordan, where they will conduct and support interviews of 10,000 UNHCR-referred refugee applicants,” referring to the UN’s refugee agency. In addition to the new efforts in Jordan, Barlett said the United States “will restart Department of Homeland Security refugee resettlement interviews in Beirut, Lebanon on February 18, 2016.” The vast majority of Syrian refugees are in the neighboring countries of Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon.
Still, it’s unlikely that any of the refugees who begin the screening process this month would be able to travel to the United States by October, the end of the fiscal year. Read the whole article. It sounds to me that (despite Obama’s pronouncements) we have many steadfast officials in our security apparatus that are taking the screening process very seriously.

Very interesting. While we were all distracted by the funeral for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on Saturday the White House was meeting with members of the National Governors Association (winter meeting) to assure them that it was perfectly safe for them to ‘welcome’ Syrian refugees to their states.
As far as I can tell, this Washington Times storyis the only report on this intriguing bit of news. Obama administration officials tried to reassure dozens of wary governors in a closed-door meeting that President Obama’s proposal to relocate Middle Eastern refugees in their states is safe, two governors said Monday. Utah Governor Gary Herbert was apparently not satisfied by Administration answers.
The briefing by senior administration officials last weekend was an effort to “find solutions to some misunderstandings and apprehensions that are out there,” said Gov. Gary Herbert, Utah Republican and chairman of the National Governors Association.
Asked whether the meeting eased states’ concerns about accepting refugees from crisis areas such as Syria and Iraq, Mr. Herbert replied, “We still have work to do.” After Mr. Obama announced his plan last fall to admit up to 10,000 refugees into the U.S. this year, governors of 30 states from Maine to Wyoming publicly asked for the resettlement of Syrian refugees to stop until security concerns and procedures could be addressed. New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan was the lone Democrat in the group.
The resistance to refugees intensified after Islamist terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, which raised fears of Islamic State fighters sneaking into the U.S. as refugees. Governor McAuliffe declared himself “confused by the process.”
Terry McAuliffe is confused! He is not alone! The UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program suffers every day from confusion as a result of the secrecy it has operated under for 35 years.
Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, conceded that some states “are confused about the process to go through.”
“A lot of issues were raised. We’re continuing to have the dialogue, and [Obama administration officials] promised they would get back to us with additional information as we go forward,” Mr. McAuliffe said.

Obama is reducing the screening time of 18-24 months to 3 months!
Regular readers know I have beenreporting how the Obama Administration is way behind (so far) in resettling the 10,000 Syrians it has ‘promised’ you would be coming to your towns this fiscal year (by September 30th). Well, here comes the news!
The Syrian Muslim surge is underway! And, it could involve MORE than 10,000!
Since October last year, 1,000 Syrian refugees have moved from Jordan to the U.S. The resettlement surge hopes to increase that number ten-fold.
US Ambassador to Jordan saw the first “surge” Syrians off at the airport in Jordan this week. Thousand more right behind them! Help! Where is James Comey and the FBI?
A resettlement surge center opened in Amman in February to meet President Barack Obama’s target of resettling 10,000 Syrians to the United States by Sep. 30. Every day, the center interviews some 600 Syrian refugees.
The temporary processing center for the surge operation will run until April 28, U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Alice Wells said. She travelled to the airport to greet the family before their departure.
The regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. embassy in Amman, Gina Kassem, said that while the 10,000 target applies to Syrian refugees living around the world, the majority will be resettled from Jordan.
“The 10,000 is a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number,” she told reporters.
Now get this! How many times have you heard about how our screening process takes 18-24 months? They are getting it done now in THREE MONTHS!
While the resettlement process usually takes 18 to 24 months, under the surge operation this will be reduced to three months, Kassem said.
As wereported here (and we expect the trend to continue) 99% of those being rushed to America are Sunni Muslims.

The goal, according to a press release from the church, “is to learn to listen to others and to share our opinions in a civil manner, trying to understand each other without a need to come to any conclusions.”

[LOL! they need to know in advance if you are for or against Syrians coming to Montana. Why?—ed] Why is this so interesting to me (and should be to you)?
Because this is an example of the Delphi Technique, a system first developed over 50 years ago that is used now to direct the outcome of a public meeting to a pre-determined conclusion. This (click here) is a good description of it.
The process used to “facilitate” the meeting is called the Delphi Technique. This Delphi Technique was developed by the RAND Corporation for the U.S. Department of Defense back in the 1950s. It was originally intended for use as a psychological weapon during the cold war. However, it was soon recognized that the steps of Delphi could be very valuable in manipulating ANY meeting toward a predetermined end.
There are many variations, but here is a simple description of what I predict will happen (and what you can consider doing) at the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church:
Instead of the entire audience hearing the various critics of the idea of bringing refugees to Montana, the critics will be subsumed into small groups where the majority likely will be supporters of the proposition (refugees welcome) and have planned ahead for how to argue within your small group.
You, the critic in one group, will not hear what critics in other groups are saying. The facilitator in each group will have been carefully chosen in advance (he or she will favor resettlement of refugees in Montana). Of course a smart facilitator will be slick, and you, the critic, will feel like your concerns have been heard.
But, since you are in the minority (unless many many critics show up!) when the group comes back together in the body of the whole, you will be made to feel that your opinion was the minority opinion and may not even be mentioned when wrap-up reports are given by each facilitator.
Media reports of the gathering will say that the majority of Billings citizens want to welcome refugees.
It seems to me that if you are planning to attend and are of the opinion that impoverished third world refugees from mostly the Middle East and Africa will not benefit your community you have several choices.
First, don’t participate at all and maybe protest outside.
Or, participate but stand up at the beginning and demand that you don’t break into small groups—then everyone hears everyone’s else’s concerns and ideas. If they insist on the break-out groups (because their entire strategy is based on Delphi), you walk out (and complain to the press).
Or, if there are enough of you to make sure each small group has a large compliment of critics, and you are all prepared for their strategy, then it might be worth participating.
When you are participating be firm (and stay calm!) and do not allow anyone in your group (the pro-refugee people) to wander into a discussion about moral duty. Make them stick to the facts—cost of the program, employment, housing, security and so forth.
It is important to stay calm and reasoned because one important part of the Delphi Strategy is to show you as crazy people and the facilitators (the pro-refugee resettlement people) as the professional-sounding ‘good’ people. Anyone attending who has not made up their mind will then naturally tend to relate to those people—the nice-sounding people—instead of you.
Make sure you get to the media when it’s over and don’t allow the sponsoring group to monopolize any reporters present. If no reporters are present, then call your local media yourself—right away!
There might be other things you can think of to do, I’m not an expert, but I have seen it done to unsuspecting citizens often enough to recognize it! And, please, please, all of you who plan to attend, click here and read the strategy on how you can defeat the Delphi Technique!

Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) said Thursday that it was “unconscionable” that of the record 499 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States in the first three weeks of May, not one was a Christian.
Knights of Columbus CEO Carl Anderson cited that number, reported by CNSNews.com on Monday, in his testimony on the urgent needs facing Christian refugees from Iraq and Syria.
Smith was speaking at a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee hearing on what steps should be taken following Secretary of State Kerry’s March declaration that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) was committing genocide in Iraq and Syria against Christians and other religious minorities.
“They can’t even get into a UNHCR [U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees] or IDP [internally displaced persons] camp or a refugee camp, are unwanted, at risk,” Smith said of the Christians in Iraq and Syria.
“And as you [Anderson] pointed out a news report showed or indicated that of the 499 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States in May, not one – and I repeat and say again – not one was listed as being Christian or as explicitly coming from any of the groups targeted for genocide.”
“For me that has got to change,” Smith continued. “I mean that is unconscionable, it’s not like we haven’t been raising this for, in my case three years, in the cases of so many others, three years. And we’ve had hearing after hearing.”
“We’ve got the designation. Why aren’t Christians being focused upon?” Smith asked.
“Those who face genocide are a tiny fraction of the population,” Anderson said in his testimony. “They often must avoid official refugee camps because they are targeted for violence there by extremists. As a result, these minorities often do not get ‘official’ aid. This will continue to be the reality unless specific action is taken to bring the aid to where these minorities are forced to reside by continuing violence.”
“After World War II, there were approximately 50 million refugees, and only a small fraction were Jews. Yet the world understood that Jews, who had survived genocide, faced a qualitatively different situation, and deserved heightened consideration,” he continued.
Anderson said that Christian and Yezidi religious minorities, “as survivors of an ongoing genocide,” must “be prioritized in American policy decisions.”
Since the beginning of FY2016, 2,705 Syrian refugees have been resettled in the United States, as of Thursday, according to State Department Refugee Processing Center data.
Of them, 12 (0.44 percent) are Christians: five Catholics, two Orthodox, one Greek Orthodox and four refugees identified simply as “Christian.”
Another 10 of the 2,705 (0.36 percent) are Yazidis.
Johnny Oram, executive director of the Chaldean Assyrian Business Alliance, echoed Anderson’s concerns, saying that “as far as refugee admission to the United States the Christians have really been left out.”
“I’m not here to have a debate about religion and about Islam and Christianity but it seems 99 percent of the refugees that have been admitted to the United States are Muslim,” he said.
Anderson recommended that the United States appropriate funding and work with the UNHCR to “make provisions for locating and providing status to individuals – such as Yezidis and Christians – that have been targeted for genocide.”
“Many of these genocide survivors fear going into official U.N. refugee camps, where they are targeted,” he said.
He also urged Congress to pass legislation introduced by Sen Tom Cotton’s (R-Ark.), the Religious Persecution Relief Act, which he said would “provide for overlooked minorities in the prioritization of refugees.”
Cotton’s bill would enable Syrian minorities to bypass the U.N. and apply directly to the U.S. resettlement program. It also set aside 10,000 refugee resettlement places annually, for five years, for Syrian religious minorities.

The Obama administration has created a “resettlement surge center” which has produced a pouring of 100 Syrian refugees in the U.S. per day. The very real risk to Americans – the lack of proper vetting of these individuals by the quick processing that is being done, almost all of them reported to be Muslims.
Over 100 Syrian refugees have been admitted every day in June according to the federal government’s own database from the Refugee Processing Center. More than 1,000 were admitted in May. The rate of those admitted has sky-rocketed when compared to the 3,755 accepted in fiscal year 2016.
The Conservative Review reported these numbers, and that approximately 100-250 were admitted during the first six months of fiscal year 2016. It noted that the Associated Press reported in April that the federal government set up a “resettlement surge center” in Amman, Jordan in February. On 2 June, 2016 a five-year old girl with special needs was playing outside her home at the Fawnbrook Apartments in Twin Falls, Idaho when she was taken by knife point to the shared laundry facilities on the premises by three boys from two refugee families, ages 13, 9, and 8 years old who sexually assaulted and urinated on her. The eight year old is also reported to have cut another young child’s arm with his knife a week before school was adjourned.
According to the victim’s mother, a trusted neighbor discovered her daughter with the three boys. Her clothes had been stripped off by the boys who were also naked and the 13 year old had a phone which allegedly held video of the incident. The mother and father of the victim promptly arrived on the scene after being alerted by the neighbor.
The video on the phone displayed the sexual assault of the five year old girl according to the father who viewed it, and reportedly shows the older boy coaching the younger ones during the assault and attempted rape of the little girl as well as urinating in her mouth and over her body as they pinned her against a wall.
The mother took the victim home immediately, stating she was going to call the police. Shortly after arriving home the mother of one of the attackers showed up at the victim’s home demanding in broken English, “No police, everything ok.”

The police were called and arrived on the scene two and a half hours later, at which point the cell phone was given to the local authorities.
The mother of the victim has also reported receiving threats by two young men of Middle Eastern descent, who told her they will come after her if she pursues the police with this matter.
The Twin Falls Police Department finally made arrests of the two older boys on June 18, 2016. However, they have not placed a restraining order on the families involved even after the request was made by the girl’s family. Instead the perpetrators remain in the comfort of their own home and have been spotted running around the complex grounds.
In the meantime, the victim’s mother had to find a place where her daughter could be taken care of safely in the immediate aftermath of the trauma, but the family’s funds are limited and the little girl has to stay in the same apartment complex as all three of her attackers.
The police department and county Prosecutor, Grant Loebs, have not acted in a timely fashion to protect the victim and her family from the attack by the Muslim refugees or from intimidation and harassment received from the refugee community in the aftermath.
Twin Falls, Idaho is a hot spot for refugees, and the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) is the only refugee resettlement agency bringing them to the Magic Valley Region. Approximately 300 refugees were placed in fiscal year 2015, and more recent arrivals have included large numbers of individuals from Iraq, Congo, Burma, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and Somalia. Since 1984, 5,000 refugees from Iraq and Iran have been settled there.
According to Julie Ruf, a local leader and concerned citizen, there have been up to 200 local residents who have voiced concerns over the program for over a year to their City Council, Police department, and the CSI trustee board. They have received scorn instead of answers to their numerous questions and concerns regarding the refugees like: the welfare costs involved, the increased tax burden on local residents, healthcare, educational, and last but not least issues of national security and public safety concerns related to these individuals being settled in their city.
The local internet news source, Magic Valley, has published names of concerned citizens who dared question the program and tried to belittle them. If theMagicValley.com news site would print the facts of the Refugee Resettlement Program instead, they may have additional citizens concerned about the settling of Muslim refugees who adhere to Sharia Law within their communities. Incidentally, the mother of the boys involved in the assault wears a full burka in a display of adherence to the Sharia.
Muslim law states a woman’s life is worth half of a man’s, a husband may beat his wife, men are superior to women in intelligence and religion, and they can also be stoned for adultery. (See: Sharia Law for Non-Muslims by Dr. Bill Warner, Chapter 3) These families who are being settled by the tens of thousands and soon to be hundreds of thousands in our country have lived with the common sexual assault of Muslim and non-Muslim women and the lack of negative consequences for those actions.
“CSI’s president. Jeff Fox, stated the following last June about the program when opinions from legislators were sent to him out of concerns they were hearing from their constituents.
“There is nothing to hide or fear about the Refugee Center’s operations. There is a long and successful track record.”
There may have been a glowing track record before the Federal refugee program started admitting Sunni Muslim refugees into America from warring Islamic countries, but now there plenty of stories where they don’t assimilate into western culture.
Take into account the skyrocketing sexual assaults happening all over Europe where ever Muslim majority immigrants/refugees have settled. Sweden, for example, is now the rape capital of the West trailing only North Africa. They have a 2% Muslim male population with 77% Muslims perpetrating the reported rapes. It is doubtful Magic Valley news or the CSI pays any attention to those details.
Rep. Maxine Bell, for instance had this to say about concerns being raised about the CSI program,
“The history of incoming refugees goes back a long way. We should be a haven for people to express their own religion and freedoms.”
She continued about concerns from those in the community,
“I’m troubled that they would be concerned, I assume it’s part of a concern about the people in the areas where Sharia law is and where things are different. I hope that CSI is able to put that to rest with people who are really, really concerned.”
Do you think Rep. Bell believes the Muslim refugee boys who sexually assaulted a girl by knife point have a right to practice those freedoms now? Wonder if she would like male refugees with little to no respect for women settled in the same community as her family members or granddaughters? Realistically, however, our legislators are far too wealthy and privileged to live in the same vicinity as the refugees they bring into lower income communities.
Rep. Maxine Bell and all the other legislators who stand by and do nothing but parrot how impressed they are with the refugee program at CSI should be required to take a course in the doctrine of Sharia Law as well as the political ideology espoused by Muslims. Why is it that many regular citizens of this country are more educated on the facts and the dangers of Islam and their elected officials choose to remain ignorant of them?
Most legislators are silent about a program that not only resettles refugees who are in opposition to our Constitution, but is a threat to our personal safety and those of our families. These elected leaders place themselves in dereliction of their duty and should resign if they are not advocating for the safety of their constituents, not the least of which are five year old girls. But, they are far too concerned about the money involved in settling the refugees.
For example the Chobani yogurt factory, owned by the wealthy Muslim immigrant, Hamdi Ulukaya, from Turkey. According to a WND article, he wants to give corporate cash, lobbying initiatives, services and jobs to refugees. Thirty percent of his workforce is dependent on refugees being shipped to him from the Middle East and Africa. Sexual assaults and rapes surely should not get in the way of big business.
Just like this horrific assault to the body, innocence, and future of this five year old child happened because of a program championed by the College of Southern Idaho. Their naive belief that refugees from warring Islamic countries can be “vetted” and brought to live among American citizens without causing countless negative and traumatic consequences is incredulous.
he prime responsibility for this incident lies with President Obama, Congress, the State Department, and all agencies who willingly resettle Muslim refugees into America. From the president who has denied his oath of office by continuing a dangerous refugee program, the State Department whose job is to support Americans interest abroad, but ushers in the very enemies of our Constitution and threats to our national security and personal safety, our Congress who voted to fund the refugee program, and finally volunteer agencies who take money per head, funded by the American tax-payer, in order to place unvetted individuals among Americans.
This story reveals how Muslim refugees never can be totally vetted and there is no way of assessing the violence they will commit due to their ideology and culture. Yet, the Twin Falls local government continues to disregard the local citizens well-founded questions about the refugee program and the federal government continues to accelerate it, damn the consequences.

When police, a judge, and the city council refused to give citizens answers, a neighbor came forward to reveal what 3 Syrian children did to a local 5-year-old girl.
Three young Syrian children living with their refugee families in Idaho spotted a 5-year-old girl playing near their apartments. Grabbing a knife from their home, the boys lead the little girl away to the laundry complex where they used a cellphone to record the stomach-churning events that have shocked the U.S. and prompted mass outrage over the influx of Syrian refugees.
Proving a dangerous bias, the media have remained eerily silent on the horrific events that occurred on June 2. In a shameless bid to protect their leftist agenda, news outlets have given only vague details of the disturbing case, however, an outraged neighbor has come forward with the full story that is sure to put a damper on the federal refugee resettlement program.
KMVT reported on June 7 that a sexual assault occurred near the Fawnbrook Apartment complex in Twin Falls, Idaho. Only stating that no charges have been filed, according to prosecutor Grant Loebs, the station concludes that allegations are swirling on social media from an eye witness. Although they’ve done well not to give any hint of who the perpetrators are, why they’re being investigated, or who the victim is, a neighbor has broken the silence out of pure indignance over the authorities’ handling of the case.
Two weeks after the incident, a 5-year-old girl, who is underdeveloped due to being born prematurely, was playing in between apartment units just feet away from her family when three neighbor boys put a knife to her throat and forced her into the laundry unit. The boys are ages 13, 10, and 8, and are Syrian refugee children from 2 families resettled in the apartments. What happened next is too sickening for mere words.
The neighbor states that the Syrian boys stripped the girl naked, raped her, and urinated on her body and in her mouth. Although the two younger boys were unable to perform sexually due to their ages, the 13 “coached” the pair while he videoed the sexual assault after his own participation.
The victim’s mother was quickly notified, and she managed to snatch the cellphone from the trio before they fled back home. The girl’s father viewed the horrific footage, witnessing his daughter sexually abused and humiliated by the refugee children.
Of course, the parents of the boys didn’t see any problem with their behavior. In fact, one of the fathers came and high-fived his son and one of the mothers went to the victim’s parents and demanded in broken English, “No police. Everything okay.”
Syrian children are being taught not only by the Islamic State but by their own parents to perpetuate the same brutality prevalent in their home country — yet the left purports that they are safe and just need acceptance.
After 2 and a half hours, Twin Falls Police finally arrived but no arrests were made. Even after police were shown the video of the rape, the neighbor says that a “language barrier” prevented officials from doing much of anything, according to Creeping Sharia.
Both families and their boys remain in the apartment complex along with the victim and her family, who say that they just want justice and safety for their daughter. Sadly, they are most likely never going to see either, especially since the city council has intervened.
When outraged citizens demanded answers, the council responded by chastising concerned parents for their “beliefs” that Islam or refugees should even be mentioned in the meeting. The smug board members were more concerned with political correctness than even discussing the rape of a special needs child by the refugees children the left claims are safe and just need acceptance.
Blogspot Treasure Vally Refugee Resettlement Facts confirms that the case has officially been sealed by a judge because the offenders are minors, which means that they will not be tried as adults and we may never know all the details of the crime. Parents have to rely on word of mouth to know they should keep their children away from these Syrian boys because the judicial system isn’t concerned with future violations.
Every time asylum seekers from Muslim countries commit heinous crimes, the left seeks only to defend Islam as the religion of peace. They simply cannot fathom that an ideology that requires so much defense for brutality possibly requires that defense because they are prone to said brutality. Truly, the only reason we have so much debate, news, and concern over just one minor religion out of the dozens that have made a home in the West is only because they are not peaceful.
What happened to this little girl is a harbinger of what’s to come. In every country on earth that allows Muslim migration, they suffer the same Islamic brutality perpetuated in 50+ Sharia law countries. The left is so enamored that they will even condemn Muslims who kill gays as being “un-Islamic” but not the Muslim imams who preach this from the Quran and the Islamic governments that carry out the same executions.
The wave of sexual assault that’s sweeping Europe has made its way to the U.S. just like we warned. The left didn’t listen and now our most innocent citizens are forced to pay the price. But Allah forbid we mention the one ideology they all have in common.

The Muslim Iraqi and Sudanese migrant families whose male children stripped a white, five-year-old Idaho girl naked, sexually assaulted her, and urinated in her mouth while filming their attack have been evicted from their apartment complex, according to the Idaho Statesman.
The landlord mentioned the defiling of the innocent child and filming it to enjoy watching her suffer again and again as one of the “complexities of living in a culturally diverse society.”
“With the police investigation now largely complete, acting in our capacity as property managers, we have served the legally required notifications to terminate the tenancy of those households who the police have identified as responsible for the criminal acts,” the landlord wrote to the tenants of the apartments where the barbaric crime took place. “[The] events of recent days have focused our collective attention on the complexities of living in a culturally diverse society.
When management was first notified in broad terms of the truly horrific events of earlier this month, we immediately offered our full support and cooperation to local law enforcement.”
The Iraqi and Sudanese sexual predators, said to be aged seven, 10, and 14, have reportedly been confined to a detention center. Nearly every news outlet covering the story has sneered at local residents aghast at the rape for mistakenly attributing the child rape to Syrian refugees, instead of Iraqi and Sudanese refugees. Why this nitpick is important when migrants savaged an innocent little American girl is never explained. Nor is it explained why Americans should even begin to tolerate, let alone subsidize migrants who come with a child rape risk in their communities.
Muslim men typically attack and rape women in a manner that would please Hollywood horror movies glorifying torture and human suffering. Many Muslims enjoy destroying — not “just” harming, but physically and psychologically destroying — a non-Muslim human being. The Idaho victim endured a torment similar to an Australian nurse who made the mistake of falling asleep in a car in a Western country where Muslims were permitted to reside.
I was pulled out of the car and thrown to the ground. There were six of them and they all started kicking me. They were speaking Arabic… Three of them raped me on the footpath. They spread-eagled me. A fourth guy sodomized me. He put me in a doggy position and put a knife to my throat.
He started to cut me. He was cutting through the scalene [neck] muscle. I knew I was going to die… I was in incredible pain. I could hardly breathe. I was swallowing blood.
Then I heard shouting in Arabic. One of the guys who had not raped me knocked the knife from the guy’s hand. He said in English, ‘This is f***ed.’ The guy who had the knife, this mongrel, big, bearded, he wrenched my jaw open, pulled my head back, and stuck his hands down my throat. I had no top teeth left. They had been kicked out.
They started urinating in my mouth. They were all laughing. One of my eyes was closed with blood. Then they just took turns kicking me. They spat on me and left.
Interestingly, Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan has repeatedly claimed that any restrictions on Muslim migration is “not our values,” despite sending his own children to a Catholic school that excludes Muslims.

FBI 'won't touch it' for fear of offending Muslims

Men and women pulling “suitcases full of cash” started showing up at Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport last year holding tickets for international flights bound for Africa.
Transporting large amounts of cash overseas is perfectly legal. But it was who was carrying the money … and where it was going that caught the attention of law enforcement, according to a report by KING 5, the local NBC affiliate for western Washington.
Those hauling the cash-laden cases were Somali-Americans who’d come to this country as refugees. They routinely send money back to Somalia. And many of the greenbacks headed to the jihadist-infested East African country come from welfare checks the refugees receive from the U.S. government, compliments of American taxpayers.
Carrying more than $10,000 while traveling out of the United States is legal as long as the traveler declares it by filling out a one-page federal form.
It was while looking at these slips of paper that terrorism expert Glenn Kerns found a disturbing pattern.
“The thing was the amount, the staggering amount,” said Kerns, a Seattle police officer who was assigned to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force for 14 years before he retired in December.
The cash couriers were working for hawalas – businesses that derive their name from the Arabic word for “transfer.” Hawalas are part of a traditional system of banking in Shariah-compliant Muslim communities.
Seattle and King County are home to the fourth largest Somali community in the United States. More than 132,000 Somalis have come to the U.S. as “refugees” since 1983, with more than 60 percent arriving since the late 1990s.
The Somali refugees continue to arrive in the U.S. at a rate of 750 a month, placed in dozens of U.S. cities including Seattle, San Diego, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Lewiston, Maine; Fargo, North Dakota; Boise and Twin Falls, Idaho; and Columbus, Ohio, among other places.
Many use the hawalas to send money back to their families in Somalia.
But is all of it going to downtrodden family members?
That’s the question Kerns wanted the U.S. government to investigate.
It would make sense, since Somalia is home to an active jihadist rebellion from al-Shabab, an al-Qaida affiliate that slaughters Christians in neighboring Kenya and seeks to establish an ISIS-like caliphate in East Africa.
“(They) have Al Shabaab, which has been designated a terrorist organization, and our concern is how much money is going to them?” Kerns told KING 5.
Kerns said the first cash shipment rolled through Sea-Tac early last year. A man carrying $750,000 in cash told Customs officials he was transporting the money overseas. Over the next few months couriers carrying as much as $2 million boarded commercial flights at Sea-Tac.
One Seattle hawala sent out $20 million last year, said Kerns.
If it’s happening in Seattle, it’s likely happening in Minneapolis, Columbus, San Diego and other cities where large Somali communities have been resettled by the U.S. government in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Which leads to the next set of logical questions: Where is all this money coming from and why isn’t the federal government interested in investigating where it’s going?
U.S. banks have gradually phased out the wiring of money on behalf of hawalas because they don’t want to be held liable for failing to report suspicious activity.
In March 2015 the last bank serving hawalas – Merchants – shut down the last remaining accounts of hawalas that wired money to Somalia, KING 5 reported. That left the hawalas with no other option but to ferry cash overseas the old-fashioned way – in the suitcases of their customers.
Kerns analyzed hawala financial records filed with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions.
He investigated the 10 clients who transferred the most money through hawalas last year and what he found was astounding.
“All 10 of them were on welfare benefits. DSHS benefits,” Kerns told KING 5. “It’s fraud. Straight up fraud – every one of them.”

Kerns said he, along with an agent from a federal agency he would not disclose, took their case to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle.
“They don’t want to touch it,” said Kerns. “My opinion – I believe it’s because it will look like they’re targeting a certain population.”
Hassan Diis believes that Somali-Americans are already being “targeted” for discrimination.
Diis told KING 5 he has been working with lawmakers to try to restore banking services for Somali hawalas. Diis says banks and law enforcement have placed unfair restrictions on hawalas that are harming ordinary, hardworking people.
“Delivering money is one of the biggest challenges (Somali) people face,” Diis told the TV station.
Shariah-compliant America?
These statements from Diss underscore the influence and power of Shariah law within the global Islamic community, including the one right here in America, says Philip Haney, co-author of the new book “See Something Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad” with veteran WND journalist Art Moore.
“This ‘concern’ about ‘unfair restrictions’ has been the basis of every attempt of Muslim Brotherhood front groups to overturn cases such as the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial,” Haney, a former DHS investigator who retired last year, told WND.
This trial sent dozens of Brotherhood members to jail and led to its front groups, such as the Council for American-Islamic Relations or CAIR being labeled as unindicted co-conspirators in a plot to transfer money overseas to Hamas, a designated foreign terror group.
Al-Shabab in Somalia is on that same list of terrorist organizations. Obama’s Justice Department shut the Holy Land Foundation trial down in 2009 despite its success in rooting out an underground network of financial donors to Hamas under the cover of “charity.”
Afraid of offending Muslims
The Obama administration’s overriding fear of interfering with Muslim “charity” — which is one of the Five Pillars of Islam known as Zakat — was also exposed by a little-known entry buried in the Federal Register on Feb. 5, 2014. This change in policy was not processed through Congress or even highlighted by a presidential executive order. Nobody from the media noticed it but it carried great weight in changing the way federal agents like Haney did their jobs. In one fell swoop it negated their ability to stop jihadist sympathizers from entering the U.S. or from claiming taxpayer benefits once they are here.
It showed up as an obscure amendment to what is known as the “terrorism inadmissibility grounds” or TRIG within the Immigration and Nationality Act.
The decree gave the attorney general, the secretary of Homeland Security and the secretary of state “discretion” to ignore financial contributions by immigrants to known terrorist outfits if it was determined these donations amounted to “limited material support” and were “routine social transactions” carried out in the “satisfaction of certain well-established or verifiable cultural obligations.”
“The terms ‘routine transaction’ and ‘well-established cultural obligations’ are legalese for zakat (Islamic charity), which became the focus of a barrage of disinformation after the Holy Land Foundation was indicted on July 26, 2004 for financial support of Hamas,” Haney said.
A curious statement from Obama on ‘zakat’
This DHS-DOJ ruling, as entered in the Federal Registry, was a partial fulfillment of President Obama’s pledge during his historic “A New Beginning” speech in Cairo, when he declared:
“Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill Zakat.”
Why is this even important? Haney believes he knows why.
“Because Shariah law demands that 1/8 of all Zakat must go to the support of the Mujahidin (jihad fighters), wherever they may be in the world,” he said. “Do you suppose President Obama might have known this, when he used the word zakat in his speech?”
Sources within the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Kerns’ investigation had too many “holes” to proceed with criminal charges.
That was the same reaction Haney said he got when federal authorities learned of his book “See Something Say Nothing,” which chronicles the evolution of Homeland Security from an agency that once put protection of Americans first into one that is now more concerned about protecting the civil rights and civil liberties of the Muslim immigrant community. This despite the fact that Haney fully documented his allegations with primary sources and original documents.
Bankers also falling in line
The banking industry also seems to be in bed with Muslim interests.
Washington Bankers Association President Jim Pishue told KING 5 his member banks sympathize with the hawalas who are “struggling” under the scrutiny of international regulators and anti-terrorism agencies.
He said federal laws make it “very burdensome” for any bank to send money on behalf of the hawalas to countries like Somalia.
It’s expensive for banks to monitor the accounts, and there’s the risk of being held liable if the feds determine a bank hasn’t done an adequate job. He said Congress needs to create a better environment for Somali money transfers.
That way Zakat will continue to flow, uninterrupted and undeterred, straight into the hands of al-Shabab in Somalia.
