Fallout 3 was one of the few games I played all the way through. My son and I have been looking forward to the Fallout 4 release for some time now.

Did you play New Vegas at all? I actually ended up putting more time in that than 3 (175 hours total for New Vegas ).

Oh and my brother sent me this earlier since 4 is going to be in Boston.

He also sent me this little Easter Egg that was supposedly in New Vegas. I'm not sure where it is but I may have to put it in and see if I can find it.

Ooooh, I am ALL IN on Fallout 4.

New Vegas was 2010? Holy shit, it's been 5 years? Man, this time shit needs to slow the fuck down.

Yep, 5 years. I really hope it's been worth the wait. I am so excited!

Unfortunately, I've only got one week of vacation time left and 3 sick days. Not sure that will be enough.

I was looking for this thread and saw my last post was in 2011 and went . Then I saw you started this thread in 2008 and went

I really didn't think it was that long ago I had made that last post! Wow. Where has the time gone?

These are great! Kudos to the group for originality. Small language warning.

We own New Vegas. My son spent a lot of time with it a few years back. For some reason I didn't touch it. I think because he mentioned NV was technically just an extension of 3. I'll have to try it sometime.

Bethesda is doing a Twitch stream of their E3 presentation. No link, I'm watching it on my Xbox.

The new Doom being released looks badass!

They haven't gotten to Fallout 4 yet.

Built in custom level builder in Doom. Has to be a first for a console game.

    Called Doom Snapmap.

LOL! New smartphone game called Fallout Shelter.

You build your own vault and are the overseer.

Looks like a fun time waster and it's free for iPhone users. Launches tonight after their show is over.

Items can be fabricated from materials found in every object in the world.

Unreal level of weapon and power armor mods in a shit load of customizations that totally change the function of the items. Not just addons like sights or grips for weapons.

Wasn't sure what you meant, Ryan, by "Real life, working PipBoy!" Now after watching the E3 gameplay vid, I see that they've produced a real pipboy for use with the game. Pretty freakin cool.

Yeah, was trying to get everything down. They were shotgunning info left and right or I would have been more detailed.

Just preordered the XB1 Pip-Boy edition.

Get 'em while they're hot! They sold out pretty quick the last time the major retailers had pre-orders for them.

Gamestop has some cool Fallout exclusive items.

    Monopoly: Fallout Edition - $39.99

Fallout Anthology for PC - $49.99

I'd been meaning to pick up a version of Monopoly for a while so why not this one!

And, I hadn't played any of the Fallouts before 3 plus, I have seen some killer mods for 3 and NV that I'd love to try. So I picked up the anthology too. And the mini-nuke case is sweet! My new HTPC should be more than robust enough (may have to upgrade the vid card, it's pretty old) to handle 3 and NV so I'll just need to get a wireless keyboard and mouse and I'll be playing it on a 60" TV.
