Well, Kerry is a tool that would speak Arabic to a bunch of Iranians.

That's like speaking Spanish to a Brazilian.

The US has sold Israel out with Iran deal

Op-ed: The Lausanne agreement is evidence of just how hard - and successfully - the Iranians fought to preserve the essential components for creating nuclear weapons.

    Published: 04.04.15, 23:46 / Israel Opinion
Just guard me from my friends; from my enemies, I'll guard myself. We are forced to learn this age-old lesson each time anew.

The document agreed upon and signed in Lausanne on Thursday by the best of our friends from around the world makes no mention of nuclear development for peaceful purposes. Nothing in the clauses outlined in the declaration of principles indicates that Iran's nuclear program for military purposes will be converted into a program designed to further civilian-scientific objectives.

On the contrary; the document is evidence of just how hard, and successfully too, the Iranians fought to preserve the essential components for creating nuclear weapons. And this is an indication of the strategic importance Iran attributes to its military nuclear program, and the price it is willing to pay to protect it.

Kerry, Zarif and Mogherini in Lausanne (Photo: Reuters)

The bottom line: Iran has agreed to restrict its number of uranium-enrichment facilities – or, in other words, not to build new ones. The existing facilities will continue to operate at a slower pace, under supervision: 5,100 centrifuges will be in operation in Natanz, and an additional 1,000 will turn at a facility in Fordow that will be classified as a research institute (Yeah, right!). The stockpiling of enriched material will also be restricted. But nowhere in the agreement is there anything about ballistic missiles, nuclear warheads or military R&D.

In return, the sanctions on Iran will be lifted gradually. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will be responsible for dictating the pace of the lifting of the sanctions. The Iranians haven't manufactured a bomb until now; so they'll hold back a little longer, for as long as it is worth their while.

The second conclusion coming from the agreement achieved in Lausanne is supposed to offer some comfort. If the Iranian nuclear program does indeed remain under tight supervision throughout the term of the agreement, it's safe to assume that Iran will not be able to turn its nuclear capabilities into a nuclear weapon overnight.

All this is under the assumption that the Iranians play fairly and don't cheat; and that if they do decide to break the rules, we will have at least a one-year warning before they can produce a bomb. Anyone who believes that we can sleep soundly at night with this conclusion in mind must the simple of the Four Sons mentioned in the Passover Haggadah.
    A Lifeline
Nuclear deal will be good for Iran, bad for Iranians and bad for Israel / Yaron Friedman
Analysis: If signed, framework agreement between Tehran and world powers will mostly serve as lifeline for Shiite terror state, saving it from economic collapse; also, should Israel worry about formation of united Arab military over war in Yemen?

So Iran has agreed to reduce its stockpile of 3.67-percent low-enriched uranium to just 300 kilograms; has agreed to allow inspectors access to the supply chain that supports Iran’s nuclear program, from the mining of the uranium and through to the completion of the enrichment process; and has agreed to dilute its surplus quantities of uranium – a lot of declarations that could give the impression that the Iranians really were squeezed.

But these declarations have to be backed up by particulars, which don't exist now and probably never will. There's a clause, for example, that restricts the use of new centrifuges over the next 10 years, but it says nothing about restricting the development and production of new and improved centrifuges that can be put into motion the moment the time comes.

Still unclear too is the nature of the IAEA's mechanism for that tight supervision that US President Barack Obama defined as "unprecedented," or if the UN Security Council can automatically reinstate the sanctions if Iran violates the agreement. One thing is clear: Once Iran returns to the family of nations, it will be very difficult to again enlist the world to impose sanctions on Tehran.

There is nothing surprising in the Lausanne agreement. The talks over the last few days were for show only. The Americans knew, just as Israel did, that the Iranians had been willing to sign the current version of the agreement, and an even-worse one from their perspective, already two months ago. And yes, the agreement restricts Iran's nuclear capabilities for a certain period of time. But it is a vague document that lacks numerous essential details, just like the Iranians wanted – a document they can hold up in triumph to their people.

The Iranian representatives conducted the negotiations like true professionals and ran rings around the American secretary of state. In his speech on Thursday, Obama gave Kerry a grade of "Excellent" for his persistence and patience. But anyone who was there knows he deserves a grade of "Unsatisfactory" in negotiation management. And this holds true not only with respect to Iran, but also vis-*-vis the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Our friends in Washington have sold us out, along with their other allies in the Middle East, for a pittance.

Obama concedes deal could leave Iran closer to atomic bomb

WASHINGTON — President Obama is conceding something many of his critics fear: that Iran could end up much closer to developing an atomic bomb at the end of the nuclear agreement now being negotiated.

“They’re not going to have been able to hoard a bunch of uranium that somehow they then convert to weapons-grade uranium,” Obama told NPR in an interview that aired Tuesday.

“What is a more relevant fear would be that in year 13, 14, 15, they have advanced centrifuges that enrich uranium fairly rapidly, and at that point, the breakout times would have shrunk almost down to zero.

“…but at that point we have much better ideas about what it is that their program involves. We have much more insight into their capabilities. And the option of a future president to take action if in fact they try to obtain a nuclear weapon is undiminished.”

The US and Iran, along with international partners, reached a “framework” deal last week that is meant to keep Iran a year away from “breakout” to build a nuclear bomb. The US says it’s just two or three months away now.

But many of the toughest restrictions in the agreement expire after a decade. Others vanish in 15 years, although international inspections would stay in place indefinitely in accordance with existing agreements.

Meanwhile, Iran gets to keep its know-how and its equipment — even as it exports most of its stockpile to a location that isn’t spelled out in the deal.

Critics say this raises the possibility Tehran is playing a waiting game, and would make a bomb after the sanctions and restrictions get lifted.

Obama contends that the US would still have the means it has now to intervene if needed, which could refer to military or other avenues.

Another potential weakness is that a future president could simply stop granting waiver authority to sanctions relief negotiated by Obama.

But Obama says he’s not worried about that possibility.

“I am confident that any president who gets elected will be knowledgeable enough about foreign policy and knowledgeable enough about the traditions and precedents of presidential power that they won’t start calling to question the capacity of the executive branch of the United States to enter into agreements with other countries,” he told NPR.

Why the Left Wants Iran to Get the Bomb

Posted By Daniel Greenfield On April 10, 2015 @ 12:55 am

Before Global Warming posters hung on the dingy walls of American classrooms, the atomic bomb was the original Great Bogeyman of the left. Nothing quite so demonstrated the madness of our war machine as our willingness to deploy weapons of mass destruction to stop Communism in its tracks.

The self-righteous antics over nuclear weapons in literature, art, film, at protests and in papers are far too numerous to document. But you can still spot the occasional clunker with “One nuclear bomb can ruin your whole day” or “You can’t hug a child with nuclear arms” peeling off one lopsided bumper.

Just don’t expect its owner to oppose Iran’s nuclear program over its day-ruining hug-denying nature.

What made nuclear weapons and nuclear power plants bad was not that they killed children, mutated fish or doomed mankind. There was nothing wrong with Plutonium or Uranium. In Iranian or Soviet hands they are perfectly good substances. It’s when Uncle Sam gets his hands on them that they go bad.

Soviet nuclear weapons were never the problem. Now anti-nuclear activists are defending Iran’s nuclear program because they were never really opposed to nuclear weapons; they were opposed to America.

The anti-nuclear crowd isn’t against nuclear power plants or even nuclear missiles; otherwise it would be on the front lines campaigning against Obama’s nuclear sellout to Iran, instead of supporting it.

The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, which claims to be against everything from nuclear power to depleted uranium, cheered the Iran deal. Ploughshares campaigns against WMDs while linking up with [1] Iran’s lobby. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists is on the same page. The organization’s motto, “70 Years Speaking Knowledge to Power”, communicates that it isn’t against nukes. It is against “Power”.

The United States is defined as possessing that intangible quality of “Power”. Not Iran, which is a victim of American “Power”. In his New York Times interview with Thomas Friedman, Obama said that he had told his team to be sensitive to the “defensive Iran that feels vulnerable”. That’s the Iranian inner child that, according to Obama, was scarred by the United States in the past. Nukes are just its radioactive security blanket against American imperialism.

Our power is the problem. Not their nukes.

There is a long history of such reasoning dating back to spy-scientists like Ted Hall and Alan Nunn May passing along nuclear secrets to the USSR to prevent a US nuclear monopoly. And the May case was very nearly covered up because it would have interfered with a plan to demilitarize the bomb and bring the USSR into the club. As would so often be the case, the distinction between traitors and Democrats was that the former acted unilaterally while the latter put the stamp of considered policy on their treason.

Having created an atomic crisis by helping the USSR get the bomb, the left would then spend the bulk of the Cold War denouncing the “madmen” in the Pentagon for a mass destructive stalemate that the left had sought. It was not the Pentagon which wanted to see the world balanced on the brink of destruction. It was the left which had broken the “American monopoly” that had wanted it to happen.

And once it did, the left turned a crisis that it caused into its own pet cause by promoting unilateral disarmament. Having destroyed the American monopoly, it sought to leave America utterly helpless.

There has never been a credible plan for a world without nuclear weapons. The only plan that has ever existed is a plan for a world without American nuclear weapons. Nuclear proliferation was one of the means of realizing that goal. A nuclear crisis brings disarmament talk to the forefront.

The best possible way to promote the agenda of American disarmament is by helping Iran get the bomb.

After his original inauguration, Obama talked of a “world without nuclear weapons”. But what he really meant was a world without American weapons.
“As the only nuclear power to have used a nuclear weapon, the United States has a moral responsibility to act,” Obama said in that same speech. “We cannot succeed in this endeavor alone, but we can lead it, we can start it.”

The only American Exceptionalism that Obama has ever believed in is an exceptional American guilt. As the first country to have used a nuclear weapon, against an empire that was engaged in genocide and cannibalism, America has to give up its weapons first. American nuclear weapons are tainted in ways that no other weapons are. Our nukes are bad nukes. Everyone else’s nukes are good nukes.

The credibility of the other side doesn’t matter. As a dog returns to its vomit, Obama and the left eagerly tried to wrap up disarmament in a deal with Moscow despite a long history of nuclear treaty fraud. When Putin decided to take advantage of Obama’s flexibility by invading Ukraine, there was always Iran. And there has even been talk of renewing negotiations with North Korea. And why shouldn’t there be?

The Iran deal is just a replay of the terrible ideas that the Clintons used to let Kim Jong-Il go nuclear.

Disarmament is never the objective. Instead the negotiations invariably allow the other side to increase its arsenal and capabilities. That is what they are designed to do.

The left does not believe that nuclear weapons are evil. It did not believe that Soviet nuclear weapons were evil. It does not believe that Iran’s nuclear program is evil. It believes that American power is evil.

Iranian nuclear weapons are good because they weaken America. Like Soviet nuclear weapons, they undermine American power. They force the United States to “negotiate” and submit to international law. The more nuclear weapons spread, the more the “hawks” will have to realize that they have no option but to disarm the United States and put their faith in some international order to achieve peace.

That has always been the endgame.

The Council on Foreign Relations’ Foreign Affairs magazine had already run a piece promising that an Iranian nuclear bomb would bring stability to the region. As usual the word does not mean what you think it might. Stability is yet another euphemism for weakening the American coalition to create a new balance of power through Iranian power.

The same arguments now being deployed in favor of the Iran deal will later be redeployed to argue that Iran’s nuclear weapons will actually create stability. And as a bonus, Iran will be able to drive up the price of oil which means more Green Energy subsidies. For the left, that’s a win-win scenario.

The spy-scientists claimed to be concerned with the “safety of mankind” rather than such petty trifles as the security and freedom of the United States and its allies. Today men and women who think like them run the United States. And they are not concerned with the United States, but with “mankind”.

Obama intends to cut a nuclear deal with Iran on any terms and even on no terms at all. He intends to do it for the same old reasons. It’s not just about Israel, though as with regime change in Egypt, undermining the Jewish State is a nice bonus because it further weakens America.

A stronger Iran means a weaker America. And the left believes that a weaker America means a better world.

Iranian Commander: We Won't Rest Until US is an Islamic Republic

Opposition releases clip in which Revolutionary Guards commander vows: regardless of nuclear deal, hostility with US will continue.

A leading commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guards has claimed his country's ultimate aim is to turn the United States into "an Islamic Republic," and rejected any possibility of a thawing in relations between Tehran and "The Great Satan."

An undated video released by the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran, an Iranian opposition group, shows Commander Hassan Abbasi - who is also a member of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei's inner circle - making the comments during an address, in which he lashed out at unnamed Iranian officials for expressing hope that a nuclear deal with the US could open the door for wider ties.

Abbasi, a fierce Khamenei loyalist, insisted that any deal with America would be limited purely to Tehran's nuclear program.

"The Supreme Leader’s position has always been negotiation just on the nuclear issue," he said. "Some people during their speech have said that those who say we are only negotiating for nuclear energy are wrong. We are aiming to solve all the problems with the world.

"No sir! This is not in your jurisdiction to solve all the problems through negotiations! The country has a Supreme Leader, and a constitution, and the limits have been defined. War and peace in constitution is the Leader’s responsibility. The Parliament has defined the policies. You have been told from the start of the negotiations to remain within your boundaries."

Abbasi went on to attack the US, noting the position of Iran's leadership remains one of perpetual hostility towards America and opposition to its most fundamental values.

"What do you want to solve with America? If you are referring to the Imam’s comments, Imam said America is the Great Satan," he declared, referring to comments by the Islamic Republic's first Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini, who led the Islamic Revolution.

"Has the Satanic nature of America been resolved?" he asked rhetorically.

"Imam said America is naturally a terrorist state. Is the US no longer a terrorist state? ...Imam said America is the mother of all corruptions. Is America no longer the mother of all corruptions?"

Abbasi then referred to comments made "two weeks ago" by Khamenei, in which he explicitly stated that the talks with world powers were limited to the nuclear issue. Although the precise comments in question are unclear, Khamenei did state as much to Iranian diplomats back in August 2014.

But Abassi also references the "fact sheet" of the framework deal, which was only signed in April 2015, possibly indicating the undated recording is more recent.

"The Supreme Leader said two weeks ago that the negotiation is only limited to the nuclear issue," he said. "Considering that our interests are opposite to that of the US in the region, our relationship to the US is only limited to the nuclear issue."

"What kind of comments have you been making lately?" he asked, addressing the unnamed officials he was criticizing directly.

"Who says leave the fact sheet and other issues aside, and just concentrate on the fact that we are finally sitting at the table with them (the US)? No dear friend. It is not right.

"Just as we defeated the United States’ policies in Syria and Lebanon and Iraq and Yemen in the Middle East, we will not rest until we make the United State an Islamic Republic too."

Iran and word powers, led by the US, have until a June 30 deadline to finalize a formal deal over Tehran's nuclear program.

Ex-Congressman Allen West Explodes Over Iran Deal During Fiery and Emotional Times Square Speech

    Published on Jul 22, 2015
Former Florida Congressman Allen West absolutely exploded over the Iran nuclear deal during a fiery speech at a “Stop Iran Deal Rally” in New York City’s Times Square on Wednesday. The Republican strongly criticized President Barack Obama’s leadership on the issue, calling him a “weakling” and “charlatan.” West asked the crowd of thousands “what message” the United States is sending by negotiating with the “number one state sponsor of terrorism” and a country that is holding “four Americans hostage.” “No different than the last time we had a weakling in the White House when we had 52 Americans being held hostage,” he added, referring to the Iranian hostage crisis during the Jimmy Carter administration.Later in his fiery speech, West accused Obama and other administration officials of “surrendering” to the Republic of Iran.

“I want President Obama to know one thing,” West said. “You may say that you have done something that no one else has done. You know why no one else has done it? Because it’s a damn stupid thing you just did.”

He continued: “If people are upset because of what I’m saying, I really don’t care. Because I had a father that stood at World War II…I gave 22 years of my life to make sure that that great beacon of liberty, freedom and democracy continues to stand. And I have a nephew, I have friends that are still serving on the front lines — and my commitment is to the oath that I took on 31, July, 1982, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Organizers estimated roughly 10,000 people attended the rally on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.

Former Congressman Allen West Predicts ‘Obama Will Carry Out This Particularly Treasonous Action’ Before Leaving Office

    Kathryn Blackhurst

Allen West has predicted that President Barack Obama will build upon his controversial visit to Cuba this month and make it a priority to travel to Tehran, Iran, where his administration will “fall at the knees of Iran in complete and utter submission” before he exits the Oval Office in January.

West, a former congressman who represented Florida’s 22nd Congressional District, wrote a post on his website Thursday titled “Before He Leaves Office, I Predict Obama Will Carry Out This Particularly Treasonous Action…” In the article, West berated Obama for doing “exactly what he said he would do” during his presidential campaign and the early days of his administration when he reached out to Iran.

“Now the liberal progressive socialist leftists will claim Obama saved us from a war, a military confrontation,” West wrote. “But that’s like the coward who gives up his lunch money to the bully saying he did it to avoid eating food he didn’t like. I’ll give President Obama credit; he’s done exactly what he said he would do, and it will be up to the next two to three presidents to right this ship.”

West, who is also a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, went on to blast Obama for his historic visit to Cuba, which was geared toward highlighting a new relationship that between Cold War foes, and used the Cuban visit as a justification for his theory that Obama would turn next to Iran.

Former Florida Congressman Allen West. (Getty Images).

“I’m telling you, after Obama’s embarrassing trip to Cuba, I bet he’ll go to Tehran before he exits the Oval Office. He’ll be on a mission to bring about peace and bridge the gap. Y’all doubt me?” West wrote. “Remember, during the 2008 Democrat presidential primary debate, Obama clearly stated he would talk with Iran without any preconditions — and no one challenged him on that. So what do we have today? A richer, militarily stronger and more belligerent Iran.”

West said that he also went back and looked at a report from CBS News that stated that Obama’s first official media interview conducted after his inauguration went to Al Arabiya.

“In his first sit-down interview — which he symbolically granted to pan-Arab satellite network Al Arabiya — Mr. Obama said, ‘Iran has acted in ways that’s not conducive to peace and prosperity in the region… But I do think that it is important for us to be willing to talk to Iran, to express very clearly where our differences are, but where there are potential avenues for progress,’” the CBS News article stated. “‘If countries like Iran are willing to unclench their fist, they will find an extended hand from us,’ added the president.”

Near the end of his piece, West denounced both Obama and Vice President Joe Biden for their speeches given at the annual Easter Prayer Breakfast at the White House during which they denounced Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for his comments regarding Muslims.

“No Barack and Joe, you cheeky fellas got it all wrong. The intent of the terrorists is not about weakening our faith, impulses or our better angels. Their intent is to force us into submission by killing us — and your insidious rhetoric and dismissal of the enemy is aiding and abetting their intent, objectives and cause,” West wrote. “What happened in Brussels, Pakistan, and across the Middle East to Christians is not about diminishing our faith; it’s about terrorizing us. But Obama continues to attack political opposition, not the enemy, and as I’ve stated many times, he is an Islamist sympathizer.”

Obama "Gifts" Iran With Massive Uranium Shipment From Russia Sufficient "For More Than 10 Nuclear Bombs"

    ZeroHedge
    by Tyler Durden
    Jan 9, 2017 12:44 PM

In what amounts to an 11th hour "gift" by the outgoing Obama administration to Tehran's leadership to keep the country, which on Sunday was involved in yet another shooting incident with a US destroyer, content and compliant with Obama's landmark "Nuclear deal", the AP reported that Iran is to receive a huge shipment of natural uranium from Russia to compensate it for exporting tons of reactor coolant. The move was approved by the outgoing U.S. administration and other governments "seeking to keep Tehran committed to a landmark nuclear pact."

AP cites two senior diplomats who said that the transfer which was recently agreed by the U.S. and five other world powers that negotiated the nuclear deal with Iran, foresees delivery of 116 metric tons (nearly 130 tons) of natural uranium. U.N. Security Council approval is needed but a formality, considering five of those powers are permanent Security Council members, they said.

The swap is in compensation for the approximately 40 metric tons (44 tons) of heavy water exported by Iran to Russia since the nuclear agreement went into effect. Another 30 metric tons have gone to the U.S. and Oman.

While Uranium can be enriched to levels ranging from reactor fuel or medical and research purposes to the core of an atomic bomb, Iran has claimed it has no interest in such weapons and its activities are being closely monitored under the nuclear pact to make sure they remain peaceful. As we reported at the time, Tehran previously received a similar amount of natural uranium in 2015 as part of negotiations leading up to the nuclear deal, in a swap for enriched uranium it sent to Russia. But the new shipment will be the first such consignment since the deal came into force a year ago.

The news comes ahead of a meeting in Vienna, where of representatives of Iran, the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany will review Iranian complaints that the U.S. was reneging on sanctions relief pledges included in the nuclear deal.

As AP adds, "the uranium agreement comes at a sensitive time. With the incoming U.S. administration and many U.S. lawmakers already skeptical of how effective the nuclear deal is in keeping Iran's nuclear program peaceful over the long term, they might view it as further evidence that Tehran is being given too many concessions."

The diplomats said any natural uranium transferred to Iran after the deal came into effect would be under strict surveillance by the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency for 25 years after implementation of the deal.

They said Tehran has not said what it would do with the uranium but could choose to store it or turn it into low-enriched uranium and then export it for use as reactor fuel.

Despite present restrictions on its enrichment program, the amount of natural uranium is significant should Iran decide to keep it in storage, considering its potential uses once some limits on

Tehran's nuclear activities start to expire in less than a decade.

The troubling part, if only for those who see Iran as hell bent on creating nucleaar weapons was noted by David Albright, whose Institute of Science and International Security often briefs U.S. lawmakers on Iran's nuclear program, says the shipment could be enriched to enough weapons-grade uranium for more than 10 simple nuclear bombs, "depending on the efficiency of the enrichment process and the design of the nuclear weapon."

While it remains to be seen if Trump will comment on the unexpected delivery, we are certain that Israel, and especially its embattled prime minister Netanyahu, will raise a substantial fuss over the renewed possibility of a nuclear-armed neighbor. Heavy water is used to cool a type of reactor that produces more plutonium than reactors cooled by light water. Like enriched uranium, plutonium can be turned into the fissile core of a nuclear weapon

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that Iranian lawmakers, far from demilitarizing, approved plans on Monday to expand military spending to five percent of the budget, including developing the country's long-range missile program which U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to halt. The vote is a boost to Iran's military establishment – the regular army, the elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and defense ministry - which was allocated almost 2 percent of the 2015-16 budget.

But it could put the Islamic Republic on a collision course with the incoming Trump administration, and fuel criticism from other Western states which say Tehran's recent ballistic missile tests are inconsistent with a U.N. resolution on Iran. The resolution, adopted last year as part of the deal to curb Iran's nuclear activities, calls on Iran to refrain from work on ballistic missiles designed to deliver nuclear weapons. Tehran says it has not carried out any work on missiles specifically designed to carry such payloads.

Tasnim news agency said 173 lawmakers voted in favor of an article in Iran's five-year development plan that "requires government to increase Iran's defense capabilities as a regional power and preserve the country's national security and interests by allocating at least five percent of annual budget" to military affairs. Only 10 lawmakers voted against the plan, which includes developing long range missiles, armed drones and cyber-war capabilities.

Members of Iran's revolutionary guard look at a missile launched during a war game near the city of Qom.

The Obama administration says Iran's ballistic missile tests have not violated the nuclear agreement with Tehran, but Trump, who criticized the accord as "the worst deal ever negotiated", has said he would stop Iran's missile program.

"Those ballistic missiles, with a range of 1,250 miles, were designed to intimidate not only Israel ... but also intended to frighten Europe and someday maybe hit even the United States," he told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee AIPAC in March. "We're not going to let that happen."

So one hand, we have Obama desperate to salvage his diplomatic legacy (having already seen TPP implode and Obamacare starting the repeal proess), appeasing Iran in every possible way, even if it means further antagonizing Israel; on the other we have Iran taking advantage of Obama's weakness, and accelerating the ballistic weapons program which has been banned per the same treasury that Obama wants to see continue. Finally, throw in Trump and Netanyahu in the mix, and the future for US-Iranian relations after January 20 suddenly looks rather volatile.

Intel Shows Soleimani Was a CIA Asset, Protected by Obama Administration

Intel Shows Soleimani Was a CIA Asset, Protected by Obama Administration

    by David Brockett - January 7, 2020

Regarding Soleimani’s death, President Trump tweeted: “He should have been taken out years ago.”

“Should have been taken out”…so why wasn’t he? Was he like Osama Bin Laden, hidden away in the mountains somewhere? Were his movements so stealthy even our intelligence apparatus couldn’t track him? No, and no! For years Soleinami left his bloody fingerprints on terror acts across the Middle East. Flush with cash from Obama’s 150-billion-dollar money drop, he had all the resources he needed to keep on killing Iran’s enemies. He was arrogant and powerful and our number one enemy in the Middle East. So, why wasn’t he worried about being taken out, as the other terrorist leaders had been?

    GOTCHA!

Israel had him in their sites in 2015, had been carefully tracking him waiting for the right opportunity. According to the Kuwait paper of record, Al Jaridi, with Soleimani’s days truly numbered, and Israel’s finger on the trigger, President Obama notified Iran of the imminent assassination. Soleimani slipped the noose and continued his reign of terror for five more years until President Trump gave the order to terminate.

Soleimani a US Asset? Why Else Would The Obama-Bush DeepState Protect Him?

It wasn’t just the 2015 warning that kept Soleimani alive. According to Michigan US representative Elissa Slotkin, a former CIA analyst, both the Bush and Obama administrations allowed him free reign, refusing to take direct action against him—despite the hundreds of American lives it had cost. After Soleimani’s assassination, Rep Slotkin made the following statement (excuse):

“As a former Shia militia analyst who served multiple tours in Iraq and worked at the White House under both Presidents Bush and Obama, and later at the Pentagon, I participated in countless conversations on how to respond to Qassem Soleimani’s violent campaigns across the region. If you worked on the Middle East over the past 20 years, you dealt with the growing organization and sophistication of Soleimani’s covert and overt military activities, which have contributed to significant destabilization across the region. I watched friends and colleagues get hurt or killed by Iranian rockets, mortars and explosive devices that were provided to Iraqi proxies and used against U.S. forces under Soleimani’s guidance. We watched as his power increased and he brought strength and capability to groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, and to smaller cells around the Middle East and the world, with devastating consequences. We watched what can only be described as a cool war, taking place quietly under the surface of the public eye. What always kept both Democratic and Republican presidents from targeting Soleimani himself was the simple question: Was the strike worth the likely retaliation, and the potential to pull us into protracted conflict? The two administrations I worked for both determined that the ultimate ends didn’t justify the means. The Trump Administration has made a different calculation…”

Does anyone really believe that our intelligence agencies were that afraid of an Iranian retaliation way back in the Bush years? Retaliate how…and with what? I’m thinking there must be more to this story!

Protection by the intelligence agencies of two administrations and an assassination attempt tip-off by a US President

Other than Mob informants, who gets that kind of protection? And the “official reason” is it might make Iran do worse things to us if we killed their main terrorist? I don’t believe that for a minute. Add Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran, and pallets of cash and I might just believe that Soleimani and the Ayatollah are actually doing the bidding of our Deep State! What was Soleimani’s stock in trade? Oh…right, it was the destabilization of Middle East nations. And what did that do to the price of oil on the world market?

Forget oil, there’s money in bombs, rockets, and aircraft

Several commentators have cautioned about allowing the Neocons to push us into a war with Iran, but this provocation at our embassy by Soleimani and his goons has reversed the Trump plans to scale back operations in the Middle East. Escalation is the name of the game for the Military-Industrial Complex.

Is the loud wail coming from former administrations and the pro-war globalist media puppets mourning for Soleimani, or disappointment he’s no longer available to do their bidding? You decide.

Donald Trump Blames Barack Obama for Helping Fund Iran Missile Attacks

    Manuel Balce Ceneta/AP

President Donald Trump blamed his predecessor, former President Barack Obama, on Wednesday for funding the missiles Iran launched against the United States.

“The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration,” Trump said, referring to the $150 billion returned to the Tehran regime under Obama as part of the Iran nuclear deal.

Iran launched more than a dozen military missiles on Tuesday, targeting American bases in Iraq as a military response to Trump’s decision to kill Iranian Quds force commander Qasem Soleimani last week.

Trump said that Iran’s hostilities in the Middle East only increased after Obama’s “foolish” 2013 nuclear deal, noting that Iran used the funds to back a campaign of terror around the world.

“Iran went on a terror spree, funded by the money from the deal, and created hell in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Iraq,” he said.

In 2016, then-Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged that some of the billions returned to Iran could end up being used for terrorist activities.

“I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,” he said in a CNBC interview in January 2016. “You know, to some degree, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented.”

In his speech Wednesday, Trump criticized “all nations” for allowing Iran to continue its damaging acts of terrorism around the world since 1979.

“Iran has been the leading sponsor of terrorism, and their pursuit of nuclear weapons threatens the civilized world,” Trump said. “We will never let that happen.”
