Guns are a diversion. Yes it serves the agenda to ban them, but that person is spot on. It is the control or corruption of the money.

The short list of most feared finance figures of 2009. Granted, I am not a huge fan of Bill Gates, but his inclusion in the list is odd to me. By the way, it is pretty plain the author likes the agenda.

The 5 Most Feared Figures In Finance

October 29 2009| Filed Under » Financial Theory, Millionaires
Every Halloween there is no shortage of children dressed up as vampires, werewolves and witches. If, however, a child truly wanted to inspire horror in the adults handing out the sweet candy treats, he or she would be better to put on a suit, tie and wing-tipped shoes, and threaten to topple the market. In this article, we'll take a look at the frightening financial figures that caused terror on Wall Street.

    No. 5 - Bill Gates
Bill Gates is best known for being one of the richest men on the planet and the founder of tech company giant, Microsoft. The thing that helped him and his company establish a near-perfect dominance over the market was not a superior level of technology, but Gates' business acumen and cutthroat competitiveness. When Microsoft exploded onto the scene with MS-DOS, Excel, Word and then Windows, many investors wondered why the profits weren't being paid out in juicy dividends. It soon became apparent that Bill Gates was building a war chest of unbelievable size.

Investors who would usually try to sway the board of directors to disperse the profits were unusually silent as Bill Gates plotted a course for Microsoft that would make it one of the largest companies in the world. Microsoft now has billions of dollars held in reserve that can be used as a weapon or a shield, depending on what the situation calls for. Whether it is facing down anti-trust lawsuits or carving out new markets for his company, Bill Gates and his 800-pound gorilla are very intimidating.

    No. 4 - George Soros
George Soros has been described as a pirate and is despised in locations as various as Thailand, Britain and Malaysia. This famous currency speculator has made a fortune breaking currencies. In breaking the Bank of England, Soros became a figure to be feared by countries trying to protect fragile currencies. Soros is far from a numbers-only speculator. He looks in-depth at a country and tries to spot errors in valuation; political policies in particular draw his interest. Active in philanthropy focused on bringing about political change, Soros also uses his currency positions to "punish" countries whose policies are ignored in favor of positive economic data by most speculators. By pressuring these governments financially, Soros can force political changes that might never come about otherwise. Governments may fear him, but the citizens of these countries may ultimately thank him. (Though feared on Wall Street, charities and nonprofits adored both Soros and Gates. Find out more about their giving in The Christmas Saints Of Wall Street.)

    No. 3 - Carl Icahn
Carl Icahn is a one-time raider who can be credited with prompting more Securities and Exchanges Commission regulation than any other individual.

Icahn was the creator of greenmailing and one of the primary reasons that disclosure rules are so strict once stock holdings creep to the level of a toehold purchase. Icahn did everything from stripping assets and forcing stock buybacks, to personally dressing down CEOs and board members.

Now, hemmed out of raiding by the SEC, Icahn buys controlling or even minority interests in companies that he considers to be undervalued. He then outlines his plan for creating value - ranging from spinning off profitable units, buying back stock, or simply cutting down excess overhead costs - and threatens a proxy war if his "advice" is not followed. With his reputation, a company may even see a jump in price just by calling down the wrath of Icahn on its slumping stock. Carl Icahn works to create value for the shareholders now, rather than stealing it from them, but a meeting with Icahn is still enough to give underperforming and overpaid CEOs the shakes.

    No. 2 - John D. Rockefeller
John D. Rockefeller may be the most terrifying figure in finance. He was the richest man in the world and still ranks as the richest man in modern history. His company, Standard Oil, controlled 90% of the American oil industry and was infamous for forcing competitors to bankruptcy and then buying their assets from their creditors. But the thing that made him truly terrifying was his absolute belief in what he was doing. Rockefeller saw cutthroat competition as a ruinous practice that benefited the consumers much less than it ultimately hurt business. Rockefeller saw greater profits and greater benefits could be achieved by the practice of "combination", now called "economies of scale". (Keep reading on this subject in What Are Economies Of Scale?)

Rockefeller is remembered for his hard ball practices of using the immense wealth of Standard Oil to cause train and barrel shortages that ruined his competitors and forced them to come to his side, but he should also be remembered for emphasizing research and development, reducing harmful waste and passing savings onto consumers. There is no doubt that his driving sense of purpose and the means he employed to achieve his ends were not all good, but there is as much to admire about Rockefeller as there is to fear.

    No. 1 - J.P. Morgan
J.P. Morgan was a wealthy man, but not near the scale of a Rockefeller or even a Gates. What J.P. Morgan had more of than any other person on this list was pure power. During his lifetime it was said that God owned men's souls and J.P. Morgan owned the rest. The power that Morgan wielded owes as much to timing as to his personal attributes. Morgan was the primary banker for Wall Street, underwriting companies like General Electric and International Harvester at time when the American economy was getting ready to explode. At the time, a bank's reputation decided whether an issue would sell rather than the strength of the company's financials, and Morgan's reputation was gold.

The moment when Morgan was at his most powerful and terrifying, however, came during the Bank Panic of 1907. Morgan personally gathered all the financial and political movers at his mansion and forced them into locked-door negotiations to resolve the crises. The idea that the entire American economy relied on one aging banker to keep it afloat scared the government so badly that the Federal Reserve Bank was created to prevent a similar situation in the future.

    Conclusion
The word terrifying is apt for these men. The names Gates, Soros, Icahn, Rockefeller and Morgan all embody enough power (financial, mental and political), to inspire awe, respect and, consequently, fear. It is unlikely that they will ever inspire their own costume line, but they will forever cause chills down the spines of bankers, investors and financial figures alike.

Run Silent, Run Deep - New Russian Subs Head out to Sea

Silent sub: Russian noiseless Borei class nuclear submarine immersed

    Published: 30 December, 2012, 17:26

Super-modern, powerful and almost noiseless Russian nuclear submarine Vladimir Monomakh has been put in water to become the third ship of the Borei project. The cruiser is about to begin sea trials and mooring to become fully operational in 2013.

*Vladimir Monomakh was laid down at Russia’s largest shipbuilding complex Sevmash, located on the shores of the White Sea in the town of Severodvinsk in northern Russia on March 19, 2006 – the 100th anniversary of the Russian submarine fleet.

    *Borei-class submarine
    Length: 170 m
    Beam: 13.5 m
    Draught: 10 m
    Test depth: 450 m
    Displacement:
    14,720 tons surfaced
    24,000 tons submerged
    Speed: 29 knots (54 km/h)
    Complement: 107 (55 officers)
    Armament: 16-20 × Bulava SLBMs
    6 × 533 mm torpedo tubes

It belongs to a class of missile strategic submarine cruisers with a new generation of nuclear reactor, which allows the submarine to dive to a depth of 480 meters. It can spend up to three months in autonomous navigation and, thanks to the latest achievements in the reduction of noise, it is almost silent compared to previous generations of submarines.

The submarine is armed with the new missile system, which has from 16 to 20 solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missiles Bulava (SS-NX-30 by NATO classification). The rocket is able to overcome any prospective missile defense system.

On August 27, 2011, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on a successful test of Bulava to investigate its maximum range. The missile was launched from the White Sea, flew 9,300km in just 33 minutes, and then fell in the specified area in the Pacific Ocean.

All Borei class submarines are equipped with a floating rescue chamber designed to fit in the whole crew.

    The Borei family

The first and head submarine of Borei class, Yury Dolgoruky, has already completed the test program and is to be officially adopted by the Russian Navy on Sunday. Construction of the missile carrier is approximately estimated at around US$770 million, while other Borei class submarines are believed to cost less.

“The hoisting of the flag and the signing of the acceptance act is to be adopted at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk on Sunday, December 30,” the Rubin design bureau that designed the submarine said in a statement on Saturday.

Another missile cruiser of this project, the Aleksandr Nevsky, is undergoing tests, according to Borisov. While a fourth, more advanced submarine, the Knyaz Vladimir, with enhanced technical characteristics and increased ammunition is currently being built.

Over the next eight years Russia plans to have built 10 Borei class submarines altogether, according to the state armaments program of 2011-2020. All Borei class submarines are believed to provide a basis of naval strategic nuclear forces of Russia in the coming decades.

(World Aeronautical Press Agency - 2011-06-28 06:26 pm)

(WAPA) - Colonel Igor Konashenkov, Russian defense ministry's spokesman, stated that today took place successfully the launch of the 15th Bulava ballistic missile.

It was launched for the first time from a Yuri Dolgoruky submarine in the waters of the White Sea between Russia and Scandinavia and reached as scheduled its target at about 5500 km away in the Kamchatka Peninsula.

Today's launch is the 15th of a Bulava missile -NATO code name SS-NX-30- which follows a number of failed attempts occurred last year (7 out of 15 tests): a result which had raised concerns about the effectiveness of these weapons, to which however Russia does not intend to renounce considering them as the only existing alternative and which it's going to use as strategic weapons from "Borey" class submarines until at least 2040-45.

SS-NX-30, solid and liquid propellant three-stage missiles, have a range of over 8000 km and can carry up to 10 MIRVs, Multiple Independently targetable Reentry Vehicles.

They have been quietly working on the 10 MIRV Bulava ICMs to be fitted on these silent subs.

Notice their controlled media reports on the Bulava deployment out to 2040-45, purposefully cloaking they would be in use within months.

They may have finally perfected a growing fleet of real Red October class first strike subs capable of launching while submerged.

I don't think they would reveal it's true potential on a Mediterranean or Pacific skirmish unless it was part of a much larger multinational strategic surgical first strike operation.

They could bring these silent subs in close, launch their ICMs straight up toward the edge of the atmosphere and separate. The MIRVs come down directly over their targets within minutes.

Wasn't it one of these subs that went undetected in the Gulf of Mexico?

I missed that... That right there is what we like to call BULLSHIT!

There is no way they are 30 years from deploying Bulava, especially with 3 Boreis in the water. You don't deploy a sub that would likely be coming up on the end of its service life before its primary weapon system is ready.

For those who have the guts and intellectual capacity to look, the handwriting is on the wall. A new thought (at least for me)... could it be possible that Obama will utilize Russian nuclear dominance to complete his fundamental restructuring of America? Obama has a bodyguard and his name is Vladimir.

Not a new thought MM. I've had that in my mind a long time.

I personally think the gun incidents of late were "false flag" attacks. Oh, and I'm not the only one that thinks this now. A few "friends" in high places I have think it too, as well as a couple of authors I know are apparently thinking along these lines.

Those attacks were orchestrated by Russia. A lot of people think I'm full of it on this, but its pretty reasonable to assume an outside agency doing something to help Obama get his gun control (remember the "I can be more flexible"?)

    There you are.

Get rid of guns. Disarm America. Nuke the places that refuse to obey and then Obama reigns supreme. Literally.

Interesting. I've often thought Obama was in bed with Russia and all bigtime communist entities. However, I've never added 2 to 2 and come up with Russia actually doing Obama's dirty work. I do now believe it's not only possible, though, but highly probable. Russia behind the gun attacks, huh? Interesting.

If you were to befriend a young man who already is somewhat unstable and inculcate him with the belief that some group, person, school, police station, firestation, business, or even an intimate object is his enemy, and then you convince him he needs to take action, provide him with training, and then get him somehow to the scene, hand him his weapons and tell him "I'm right behind you buddy, but the government is counting on you to do it. But remember you can NOT let them take you alive!"

you've got yourself a time bomb.

Now, place that idea on the table, provide some funding. Bring in some "trainers" to scatter around the country and implement the plan as well as insulate the person you want to protect from having any connection.

Sounds harder than it is. Sounds like it would be simple to do, but you have to protect yourself, your "state" and the "state" you're ultimately helping.

    Can it be accomplished?

    What do you think?

I don't like saying things like I said above. No proof to it. Not even a grain of "truth" to point to, but it is more than plausible. And if I said it like Alex Jones I'd be labeled a kook or something because without proof you can't make people believe things.

So - all we can do is wonder.

I'll point out, Ryan handed off a link to me the other day, and I'll post it here, give me a few minutes, and then you guys can ALL go and read what is said, the WHOLE thread and figure it out for yourself if we're being hosed or not.

This will be the Lefts undoing at our expense, Russia has called the Left "useful idiots" for a reason.

If they're stupid enough to invite the UN/Axis forces to help put down areas of conflict within CONUS, the Axis would use the opportunity to preposition assets for a ground war within months inside our borders.

The Left some how imagine they'll be allowed to stay in power as dictators to rule over an occupied America, stripped of it's Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Larry Grathwohl on Ayers' plan for American re-education camps and the need to kill millions

I actually wonder if this has been discussed with Russian agents in the past by some "Useful Idiots" within this country, even some rumored to have close ties to Obama.

Ayers recently told his students "America's Game is over, another world is coming". He went on to say further; "Perhaps we will transform into a Euro-style state, though that was not a peaceful transition..."

Why would Russia honor a sitting US President with postage stamp for his 50th birthday? A gesture usually reserved for Soviet Hero's.

The multinational Axis nations participating in a ground war inside America will leave very little to rule over once occupied by Russia and China.

    Here you go. Read carefully...

    http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/140...n_conned_.html

then when you have a minute take a close look at the car, listen to the youtube scanner stuff, (just jump to close to the exact time which is mentioned in a post) and LISTEN.

Go back to the original school shooting thread, scroll down to where I put in some captured pictures of the car involved.

Then ask yourself "Who's care was that REALLY?"

Ask yourself "What happened to the 'second suspect'? and "Who WAS the second Suspect?"
