You guys didn't know this. I was gone for the last week or so. I made a trip..

Believe it or not, my title up there by my name (Time Traveler) is now a for-real thing. I can't really go into the details of what I did or anything, but OMG... I was in the 1940s. Good God, I thought I'd seen everything.

Anyway... I noted you started another thread. I'm thinking, several of you guys have a gift. Perhaps we ought to create a forum here for you guys to write or post stories just as you're doing. I, for one, would be interested.

I'm actually a writer as well. I doubt most of you have read any of my stuff (with the noted exception of my time travel story) but you guys are pretty good

Anyway, I don't mind keeping the stuff in this thread for examination of the idea of survival. In the mean time, keep up the stories!

Well, unfortunately, where I was cameras weren't allowed, nor computers, nor cell phones, nor thumb drives...

But you all know those Cadillacs that some guy buried out in a field? I DID see those, and some WWII weapons storage bunkers that no one will go into because they simply don't know what is there.

And I DID see the national repository for all the helium in the US.

Actually, that was the short quickie I wrote.

There is more to that story and in fact, I'm finishing up Chapter three right now. It's a first person story.

I've already read a few pages. I like the first person perspective. Draws the reader right into the narrative. It's a good story. I can already tell.
