Apparently Sebelius is supposed to speak this morning.

I'm seeing rumblings from the Left about Obamacare. They are going to lose their asses in 2014. Therefore since the President has said "the buck stops with me" (for the first time in his entire life) then I think he ordered her to back off Obamacare, remove it, slow it, stop it, or put it on HOLD until such time as they can win 2014 elections.... and then fuck us completely in 2015.

They will just delay the individual mandate until after the election. It's just standard dem dirty politics.

I want the policy I had last year, but now I've got shit.

I only have catastrophic insurance now and I pay a tremendous amount of money for it. Fuck you Obama.

And you HAVE to accept it? Can't you go out and get something different now?

Mine hasn't "changed" YET. We'll see what happens in the next few days. I think they will dump us right when we're all forced to sign up. I refuse to sign up for anything. They can go to hell.

Obama: Ignorant Americans Don’t Know It Yet But They Will Be Better Off Under Obamacare…

He really is one arrogant SOB.

    Via RCP:

PRESIDENT OBAMA: You know, I regret very much that what we intended to do, which is to make sure that everybody is moving into better plans because they want ‘em, as opposed to because they’re forced into it. That, you know, we weren’t as clear as we needed to be in terms of the changes that were taking place. And I want to do everything we can to make sure that people are finding themselves in a good position — a better position than they were before this law happened.

Keep in mind that most of the folks who are going to who got these cancellation letters, they’ll be able to get better care at the same cost or cheaper in these new marketplaces because they’ll have more choice, they’ll have more competition. They’re part of a bigger pool. Insurance companies are going to be hungry for their business.

So, the majority of folks will end up being better off, of course, because the website’s not working right. They don’t necessarily know it right [now]. But, even though it’s a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged, you know, it means a lot to them. And it’s scary to them.

WOW: Obamacare Navigators Caught On Tape Encouraging Lying On Applications

    Christine Rousselle | Nov 11, 2013

In a shocking video released on November 11, Project Veritas exposed Obamacare navigators in Dallas counseling applicants to lie on their applications in order to get lower premiums and higher subsidies.

    Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUsUWFANPS8

The video showed Obamacare navigators telling a Project Veritas investigator to avoid reporting portions of his income to the IRS in order to avoid being audited and to remain eligible for HHS grants. Later, Obamacare navigators were shown telling a Project Veritas investigator to lie about being a not being a smoker in order to receive a lower premium, and one navigator even admitted to lying on her own application.

This video is the first in a series, and more revelations likely will be revealed soon. Stay tuned...

    ObamaCare, Hegelian Dialectic, Cloward-Piven, NWO
    The unspoken success of ObamaCare

By Doug Hagmann (Bio and Archives) Tuesday, November 12, 2013

Despite what you are being told, the Affordable Health Care Act (ACA), commonly known as ObamaCare, is already proving to be a resounding success. The problem, however, is that the majority of Americans don’t fully understand the objectives of this plan, or the roles of its architects and its defenders. Even the vast majority of conservative pundits in all venues don’t seem to ‘get it’ and consequently, are leading their readers and listeners astray by focusing on the wrong issues.

First, it is vital to understand that the ACA is not now, nor never was, about providing affordable health care. It is merely disguised as such. Rather, it is the vehicle that is being covertly used to conduct the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that this nation has ever experienced. It is being done methodically and for a specific purpose. It is the vehicle that will ultimately disassemble and destroy significant parts of the United States Constitution and further enslave United States citizens.

Presently, all eyes are on the ostensible failures of the internet gateway or ACA website. This is precisely where the Obama regime and globalist handlers want our focus to be. The reason is that they want us to get caught up in the minutia and not see the bigger picture. But it’s a failure, you might say, and ascribe the failure to incompetence, graft, and so on. While generally true, we are being forced to examine only one tentacle of the octopus, while the rest of the creature is being hidden from view.

Perhaps this will become clearer if you stop for a moment and ask yourself just one question. How is it possible that the United States government can build, implement and manage the most intricate surveillance apparatus in the world, using a complex array of computers to amass data on people not just in the U.S., but all across the world, yet fail miserably on a less complex health care portal, exchange or web site? Put aside everything you’ve been told by the government and the media, both proponents and opponents of the ACA, and think for yourself. Does this make sense? If you are being truly intellectually honest, you must conclude that it does not.

So what is the real plan, the real objective? Moreover, how are they racing to accomplish their objectives? You are seeing it play out right in front of you, and there is no better example than the alleged failings of the internet based exchange or portal of the health care system. First, it is critical to understand that the internet exchange or website was intended to fail.

    Employing multiple Marxist methods

To understand what you are seeing unfold, one simply has to understand the Hegelian Dialectic. Simply put, it is a method where a crisis or problem is manufactured, and that problem causes chaos within the system. This chaos was intentionally orchestrated by the Obama regime and their globalist handlers, and is exactly what we are now witnessing. The success of ObamaCare is, in part, dependent on the failure of the website and the resultant chaos.

Now that chaos surrounding the website exists and “threatens” the entire program, it is important to understand that the architects of this massive power transfer have already created a number of various predetermined solutions to advance their objectives. Their ultimate objective is to completely nationalize the entire health care industry of the United States, thus completely taking over one-sixth of the U.S. economy. Their goal all along has been to implement a single-payer system, where the federal government alone collects all fees for health care services, pays all costs, and has complete control. They are using the Hegelian Dialectic to accomplish exactly that.

Therefore, it is by design that the Obama regime and their handlers have thrust upon America the very system of failure that will advance their agenda to a predetermined solution of the complete takeover and nationalization of the private health care industry. Nearly everyone is playing right into the hands of this Marxist ideology.
“Hegel’s dialectic is the tool which manipulates us into a frenzied circular pattern of thought and action. Every time we fight for or defend against an ideology we are playing a necessary role in Marx and Engels’ grand design to advance humanity into a dictatorship of the proletariat. The synthetic Hegelian solution to all these conflicts can’t be introduced unless we all take a side that will advance the agenda.” [Emphasis mine].
But that’s not all. In addition to employing the Hegelian Dialectic, the other Marxist method is detailed in the Cloward-Piven Strategy. This strategy was formulated by Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the husband and wife team working as professors at Columbia University in the 1960s. Their diabolical Marxist plan was first detailed in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation magazine.

Their strategy is elegant in its evilness and simplicity. As detailed by David Horowitz, the goal is to “hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. It is the strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis.”

    End game objectives

Once you understand that ObamaCare is not about providing a workable system of healthcare, and understand the Marxist tactics that are currently being used for its implementation as it was initially designed, the next logical step would be to identify the true objectives of the plan.

ObamaCare is the Pandora’s Box that will facilitate a number of objectives dear to the globalists. It will result in an unprecedented consolidation of power to the Executive Branch of the government.

It will serve to essentially nullify the Bill of Rights, subjugating the citizens of the United States to offenses more egregious than those that caused the American Revolution. It will give the federal government (and its agents) direct access to all of your private and personal information, including your health records, your personal financial information, and your employment records. It will also serve as a conduit to abolish your right to own and possess a firearm.

It will advance eugenics, or population control that is near and dear to the Fabian Socialists from which this regime has its roots. If you find that difficult to believe, simply refer to the father of Fabian Socialism himself, George Bernard Shaw, in this short video here. While viewing, keep in mind the “conspiracy of the death panels” associated with ObamaCare, and how we were marginalized for even suggesting such a thing.

ObamaCare will also serve as a tool of economic sabotage and will facilitate the killing of the U.S. dollar as I have previously detailed. It will thereby provide the means to usher in a system of global governance, or the “New World Order” that so many U.S. presidents and world leaders have advocated.

While the conservative leaders and pundits continue to keep you attentive to the failures of the ObamaCare website, please understand that the issue is much bigger, and the stakes are much greater. We’re in a fight for our very lives and the liberty provided by our constitution, but we’re being played. Don’t fall for it. Think bigger.

    Pray. Prepare.

Obamacare Mutiny! 72-Hour Notice Given To Obama By Democrats On Obamacare – Fix It Or Else

    Wednesday, November 13, 2013 6:08

    (Before It's News)
Congressional Democrats, unhappy that they are now forever linked to the disastrous Obamacare, have put Barack Obama on notice. This report we get from Fox news shares that Obamacare seems to be falling apart, starting with Bill Clinton earlier telling Obama he needs to keep his promise to Americans to Democrats in Congress now telling Obama ‘fix it’ or else they’ll join in on the GOP plan.

What We Should Expect – Venezuela’s socialist healthcare system now in state of collapse

Source: Natural News, by J. D. Heyes
If you want to see where the American healthcare system is headed under the Marxist Obama, cast your eyes to South America.

At one time, Venezuela’s healthcare system was fully functional and more than able to meet the needs of the country. But thanks to heavy-handed, top-down authoritarianism of the late President Hugo Chavez and his successor, the system there has all but collapsed.

As reported by The Associated Press:

Evelina Gonzalez was supposed to undergo cancer surgery in July following chemotherapy but wound up shuttling from hospital to hospital in search of an available operating table. On the crest of her left breast, a mocha-colored tumor doubled in size and now bulges through her white spandex tank top.

Gonzalez is on a list of 31 breast cancer patients waiting to have tumors removed at one of Venezuela’s biggest medical facilities, Maracay’s Central Hospital. But like legions of the sick across the country, she’s been neglected by a healthcare system doctors say is collapsing after years of deterioration.

You wanted government-run healthcare, you got it

According to the report, some 300 cancer patients have been sent home in the past month because of chronic supply shortages and overused equipment, making it impossible to perform any non-emergency surgeries.

The culprit? Central government mismanagement. Sound familiar?

Economists throughout the country and elsewhere say that is the cause of much angst around the country, and the reason why Venezuelans are “scrambling to find toilet paper, milk and automobile parts.”

Government-centric regulations and currency controls – two favored tools of the Marxist – put in place by Chavez have created the nightmare unfolding all across the country. They are responsible for shortages and inefficiencies, as well as a 50 percent-per-year inflation rate.

Doctors at the hospital sent home 300 cancer patients last month when supply shortages and overtaxed equipment made it impossible for them to perform non-emergency surgeries.

As for the healthcare industry in particular, AP reports: “The government controls the dollars needed to buy medical supplies and has simply not made enough available.”

“I feel like I’ve been abandoned,” said Gonzalez, 37, to a hospital psychologist trying to boost her morale. In addition to her tumor, she also has a swollen right eye afflicted by glaucoma that was diagnosed two years ago but never treated, because she couldn’t get an appointment.

But here’s the most disgusting part: Doctors not allied with the central government say patients began to die from easily treatable conditions and illnesses when the country’s economic slide quickened following the death of Chavez – ironically, from cancer – in March. The doctors say that they just don’t know how many have died – that it’s impossible to tell – because, of course, the government hasn’t published health statistics since 2010.

Everything is in short supply: needles and syringes, paraffin used for biopsies in cancer diagnoses, drugs, operating room equipment, X-ray film, imaging paper, blood. You name it.

It’s getting worse. Critical, even. Per AP:

Last month, the government suspended organ donations and transplants. At least 70 percent of radiotherapy machines, precisely what Gonzalez will need once her tumor is removed, are now inoperable in a country with 19,000 cancer patients – meaning fewer than 5,000 can be treated, said Dr. Douglas Natera, president of the Venezuelan Medical Federation.

Government-run insurance plans short-change doctors, hospitals

“Two months ago we asked the government to declare an emergency,” Natera, whose doctors group is the country’s largest, told the newswire service. “We got no response.”

In 1999, the country passed a constitution guaranteeing free universal healthcare to all Venezuelans. The country with the world’s largest proven oil reserves, however, didn’t anticipate Marxists destroying their economy.

It got worse in July. New price caps for common medical procedures were set that are simply impossible to meet. Dialysis treatment, for example, was set at 200 bolivars (or about $30 at the official exchange rate, or less than $4 on the black market). The procedure, however, costs 5,000 bolivars to administer.

The U.S. has an equivalent system: Medicare and Medicaid (and now Obamacare). Government bureaucrats decide all day long what they will and will not pay for. Much of the time, these two government-run health insurance programs simply do not pay the full amount charged by hospitals – an amount necessary, in most cases, just to break even.

Welcome to Venezuelan – and Cuban, British and Canadian – healthcare, Americans.

    And Britain....

National Health Service Forced To Reduce Emergency Care

Britain: At least 100 A&E departments will offer reduced levels of service and patients will have to travel further for expert treatment under a shake-up of NHS casualty departments

    .

    By Laura Donnelly, Health Correspondent

At least 100 accident and emergency units will offer reduced levels of service and patients will have to travel further for expert treatment under the biggest shake-up of NHS casualty departments in 40 years.

A new two-tier system of A&E departments is the only way to keep a safe health service which is free at the point of use, officials claim.

Under the system up to 70 of England’s 170 casualty units will be designated as “major emergency centres” which treat the most serious conditions and injuries. The remainder will deal only with less serious injuries.

The plan will also attempt to ease the burden on A&E by keeping patients who do not need emergency treatment away from hospitals.

The reorganisation comes amid fears that this winter will put unprecedented strain on England’s A&E units.

    Related Articles

Prof Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS medical director, said the system was under “intense, growing and unsustainable pressure” from an ageing population and high numbers turning to casualty departments because of widespread confusion about where else to go. Under his plans, thousands of patients who suffer heart attacks and strokes will travel further by ambulance in order to access specialist care, which he says cannot be safely provided alongside every casualty unit.

Officials said the remaining A&E units would care for the vast majority of emergencies, such as broken limbs, blackouts and abdominal pain, with the intention that those patients could be seen quicker.

Despite travelling longer distances, patients with more serious conditions, including severely ill children, would receive better care in the new “major emergency centres”.
The changes in NHS urgent and emergency care call for “a fundamental shift in how and where” patients are treated, within three to five years, to relieve pressure on hospitals, amid fears that the system cannot cope with rising demand.

A spokesman for NHS England said: “Bruce Keogh specifically rejected the idea that there would be cuts in accident and emergency departments. His aim was to properly reflect the reality of emergency care now and provide a blueprint for a network of care in the future.

“He is not proposing any downgrading but believes after this process the overall number of emergency care centres will remain broadly the same.”

Senior doctors say that the present system is on the brink of collapse, adding that last winter many casualty units became like “warzones” as they struggled to cope with demand. The NHS proposals, published on Wednesday, include same-day access to family doctors for routine health problems seven days a week, and GP telephone appointments.

The report also calls for extended training for paramedics to keep more patients out of hospital, with evidence suggesting that up to half of 999 calls could be managed at the scene.

Under the plans, the controversial 111 phoneline would have a central role in managing demand for urgent care. Senior NHS officials said that despite problems which have dogged the non-emergency telephone line, which collapsed in some parts of the country when it was introduced earlier this year, an “enhanced” version of the service would help improve care.

In future, call centres will have more medical staff on hand, and staff will be able to access electronic patient records so that advice was better tailored, they said.
Sir Bruce said that a transformation of the whole system of urgent care was “the only way to create a sustainable solution — and ensure future generations can have peace of mind that, when the unexpected happens, the NHS will still provide a rapid, high quality and responsive service free at the point of need”.

He said the NHS needed to acknowledge that A&Es are all not of equal quality — with one in seven operating without intensive care departments and one in five without a paediatric department.

Officials said the current system of A&E departments had not been reviewed since the Seventies, when heart attacks were treated with bed rest, with one in four dying. Today, advances in cardiology have reduced death rates to five per cent.

Sir Bruce insisted the changes would not mean closures of A&E departments, with “no degradation” of the service currently provided at casualty units.

Under the plans, standard emergency departments that receive cases requiring specialised care would be expected to be able to stabilise patients, before transferring them

Officials also said a plethora of extra services set up to relieve pressure on casualty units, such as walk-in centres, urgent care centres, and minor injury units, had created a “whole heap of confusion” for patients about where to turn, and should be rebranded with one name to provide consistent services.

The principles behind the changes were broadly welcomed last night by medical experts, charities, patients groups and think tanks.

However, changes to scores of hospitals across the country, in which specialist services such as acute stroke units would be centralised, are likely to prove more controversial as decisions are taken about which hospitals will see services stripped back, and when details emerge of the distances between major centres, especially in rural areas. Changes to centralise stroke care in London were made in 2010 and have been credited with saving 400 lives. However, the former head of NHS London said last year that hundreds of patients died or suffered disability in the years before, amid political arguments which delayed the changes.

Concerns were raised last night about the role of 111 in the strategy, with patients groups saying it would need to improve on a “woefully inadequate” performance before it could cope with an expanded role.

Officials at NHS England said further plans would be published within months, setting out the costs of the changes and the implications for the NHS workforce.

The proposals could become a political battleground in the run-up to the next election. On Tuesday, Mr Hunt told the House of Commons he would not “stand in the way of changes” that save lives.

Andy Burnham, the shadow health secretary, welcomed Sir Bruce’s recommendations but accused ministers of an attempt to “abdicate all responsibility for the crisis in A&E”.

Just got the notification from my employer.

Woot. I get to KEEP my insurance.

But the price just went up by a lot per year.

    Isn't that handy?

Assholes - not the company. The Obama Administration. (No he didn't sign it "The CEO" - I changed it because he's a nice man and I don't want to say who it is).

For the record, that "$36.50" went up from about 24 bucks a pay check. I get paid 26 times a year (bi-monthly) so for me alone it was $624 a year.

Now it is $949 a year.

So, you're paying $949/year? What is your deductible, copay's and limits?

Copay depends. 10 bucks on docs visits. It's a lot on meds (for my BP) - but it varies based on me buying it, in other words it goes down toward the end of the year and is high at the beginning (I forget the limit).

Limits on things like testing? Dunno. I rarely have to pay anything on tests. My wife has a different insurance through her company and she gets soaked every time she goes to visit the doctor. Think she pays as much as I do if I remember right.

(In GENERAL, I don't even notice this stuff. I don't look at my pay statement except to check my leave levels and make sure I'm still making the same per hour - or more - as last pay check. Everything is direct deposit and I check the bank account often to see what our balance is and if there is anything spent out of the ordinary.)

I don't have any idea what my "deductible" is either - or if there is one. I know that when they were going over my heart issues I underwent half a dozen tests with MRIs, xrays, and other related things, and I didn't pay a penny on anything of that.

The "plan" is a company plan, with almost all of the employees are on an individual plan where they pay for themselves only (no family members) - and if you look at what I posted you will see why that is. Something like 600 per paycheck for your wife to be added in - that's not a month, that's a PAYcheck, 26 times a year (610.00 * 26) = 15860 which is roughly half of MOST people's pay.

Well, $79/month is a steal. $610 a paycheck? $830? Why would anyone have that plan? Hell, that's 2x, 4x Obamacare rates and Obamacare is a ripoff.

I think that is the point. No one has that plan.

In our case though, it's not a "steal" any more.

I checked, it was $25 a month, and has been for the last 16 years. Never went up. Didn't go down. The plan changed slightly. We don't know what the changes will be exactly now, the actual plan isn't provided to us yet. But they increased the price and probably lowered the care.

Oh, and that $610 is actually 1220 per month.

Fix it, or else we walk…to the Republican side of the aisle

Amazing stuff via Mediaite. The “Keep Your Plan Act” is Fred Upton’s bill, which Jay Carney spent a few minutes attacking at today’s press briefing because it would make canceled plans available to all consumers, not just the ones who’d been enrolled in those plans before. That would be a disaster for the insurance industry.

Healthy people would flee the new, more expensive plans for the resurrected cheaper ones, leaving no one in the new risk pool except sick people with very expensive treatments. That means either heavy losses for insurers, steep premium hikes next year to make up the difference, or some sort of federal bailout (congrats, red-state Democrats!) — or maybe a little of all three. You’ll have the same problem, though, albeit to a lesser extent, even if Upton’s bill is amended so that it applies only to people who’d been enrolled in a particular plan before it was cancelled. You can’t run a two-tiered healthy/sick insurance system. If the risk pools aren’t merged, replete with higher rates for the former, you can’t pay for the latter.

I understand why the GOP would back Upton’s bill. It’s a slam dunk politically, grinding Obama’s face in the consequences of his lie. This is the Democrats’ mess; Reid and the Senate can/will kill the bill if they like. I can’t understand why House Democrats, aware of the adverse selection problem that’s lurking here — and the political humiliation for the White House — would sign on, unless they’ve already reached a point of such pure terror over the “if you like your plan” backlash that they’re willing to kneecap ObamaCare six weeks out of the gate. Did they … not understand that millions of people were going to face cancellations and higher premiums under the law’s redistributive scheme? Of course they did.

Obamacare Website’s ‘Mystery Girl’ Is Not A US Citizen

” Since the October 1st launch of the Affordable Care Act website there has been no Frequently Asked Question more frequently asked than “who is that girl?”
Thanks to the intrepid shoe-leather work of the folks at ABC News, we finally have our answer: A married mother of one from Colombia who is not technically an American citizen.
Adriana (last name withheld by ABC), a permanent resident who has lived in the US for the past six years with her husband and (now) 21-month-old son, told the news outlet she never set out to be the face of American healthcare reform — she just wanted some free family photos.”
It’s amazing that with over 300 million Americans to choose from not one was right to be the face of Obamacare . We guess fraudulent policy is best served up by fraudulent Americans , and yes , before you carp we realize that “Adriana” has legal status , but still …
And to complain about cyber-bullying ? Cry us a river . She was out for some freebies and found out there is always a price to be paid … kind of like the awakening all the other Kool-aid drinkers are getting as they come to grasp the fact that they are the ones who are paying for other people’s “free” healthcare .

Navigators Fired, Suspended after Viral Video of Their Abuses
    By John Fund
    November 13, 2013 7:59 AM

When James O’Keefe, the guerrilla videographer who has now exposed the Obama navigators, went after the corrupt “community organizing” group ACORN in 2009, he released videos showing its employees offering advice on running brothels and evading taxes. ACORN’s response was to claim (a) the tapes were edited (b) the incident was isolated and (c) it was letting go of the employees shown in the video. O’Keefe ultimately came out on top because he released all of the unedited raw footage he had taken and released other tapes from other ACORN offices that showed a pattern.

It will be interesting to see if that same pattern holds in the navigator scandal, which shows employees of the Urban League of Greater Dallas advising O’Keefe investigators on how to lie and cheat in order to score Obamacare subsidies or lower their insurance premiums.

Part of the pattern is repeating itself. Last night, the Urban League fired one employee and suspended three others. It said in a statement it “does not condone, nor would we ever sanction, misleading the public or any individual who seeks our assistance about any issue, and particularly in this case, an issue as critical as health care.”

At the same time it claimed the video was misleading because “the full context of these comments is not reflected in the video.”

I’m told the full video will be made available by O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, but that the problems with the navigators may be just beginning. Apparently, O’Keefe plans to follow his ACORN model and release other videos showing navigator abuses in other cities thus demonstrating that problems with the $67 million federal program are far from isolated. Stay tuned.
