Just heard on FNC that a man by the name of (I believe) "Norman LeBoon" in Philadelphia was arrested by the FBI for threatening to kill Republican Minority Whip Eric Cantor and his family.

Not able to find an article just yet...

Philadelphia Man Charged With Threatening GOP Congressman
    Mar. 29, 2010

A Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with threatening to kill the Republican party whip in the U.S. House of Representatives, officials announced today.

The FBI says Norman Leboon, 33, told investigators he was the "son of the god of Enoch" and that he had posted a video on the Internet threatening the lives of Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia and his family.

An FBI affidavit makes no mention of an incident last Tuesday when a bullet smashed through a window at Cantor's campaign office in Richmond ab out 1 a.m. Police have said their investigation indicated the bullet was a stray from a randomly fired handgun.

According to the affidavit, Leboon allegedly said in the video: "Remember Eric . . . our judgment time, the final Yom Kippur has been given. You are a liar, you're a Lucifer, you're a pig, a greedy [expletive] pig. You're an abomination. You receive my bullets in your office. Remember they will be placed in your heads. You and your children are Lucifer's abominations."

The video was reported to the FBI in San Francisco on Friday and Leboon allegedly told agents he posted it on Wednesday.

An investigation led agents to an address in Northeast Philadelphia, where they learned Leboon, who was a fugitive from state charges of making terroristic threats, also lived.

They compared a mug shot of Leboon with a man on the video and determined he was the same person.

    Leboon was arrested Saturday.

If convicted of the charges against him, Leboon faces a maximum possible sentence of 15 years imprisonment, 3 years supervised release and a fine up to $500,000.

On Thursday, Cantor said a bullet had been fired through the window of his campaign office in Richmond about 1 a.m. Tuesday.

On Friday, Richmond police said they believed it was a stray bullet.

To quote Clint Eastwood, "Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that`s it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left."

I have a theory on politics.

    There's a big circle.

At the top 1/3rd of the circle is most everyone. You, me, Ryan, and most of the folks who think of themselves as Republicans as well as most of the Democrats.

On the right hand side you have the more extreme Right wingers.

on the left side of the circle you have the more extreme Left wingers.

On the bottom tiny bit of the circle, about 1/8th of thoe WHOLE thing, you have all the kooks. Left, Right, and even a few of the most extreme people you will ever meet.

The problem is, they all look like the rest of us.

The Healthcare Bill Is Soviet Central Planning All Over Again

    Ron Paul | Mar. 29, 2010, 2:59 PM | 2,184 | 118

(This guest post previously appeared at Congressman Paul's website)

With passage of last week’s bill, the American people are now the unhappy recipients of Washington’s disastrous prescription for healthcare “reform.” Congressional leaders relied on highly dubious budget predictions, faulty market assumptions, and outright fantasy to convince a slim majority that this major expansion of government somehow will reduce federal spending. This legislation is just the next step towards universal, single payer healthcare, which many see as a human right. Of course, this “right” must be produced by the labor of other people, meaning theft and coercion by government is necessary to produce and distribute it.

Those who understand Austrian economic theory know that this new model of healthcare will cause major problems down the road, as it has in every nation that ignores economic realities. The more government involves itself in medicine, the worse healthcare will get: quality of care will diminish as the system struggles to contain rising costs, while shortages and long waiting times for treatment will become more and more commonplace.

Consider what would happen if car insurance worked the way health insurance does. What if it was determined that gasoline was a right, and should be covered by your car insurance policy? Perhaps every gas station would have to hire a small army of bureaucrats to file reimbursement claims to insurance companies for every tank of gas sold! What would that kind of system do to the costs of running a gas station? How would that affect the prices of both gasoline and car insurance? Yet this is exactly the type of system Congress is now expanding in health insurance. In a free market system, health insurance would serve as true insurance against serious injuries or illness, not as a convoluted system of third party payments for routine doctor visits and every minor illness.

While proponents of this reform continue to defy all logic and reason by claiming it will save money, I worry about cataclysmic economic events. Already investors are more reluctant to buy US Treasuries, fearing that the healthcare bill, along with other spending, will cause government debt to explode to default levels. I had the opportunity last week to address my concerns with both Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, especially about the potential for the coming serious inflation. I am not optimistic that these important decision makers truly understand what is coming, why it is coming, and how best to deal with it.

The Federal Reserve finds itself in an unprecedented and unenviable position. To keep up with government spending and corporate irresponsibility, it has increased the monetary base by nearly $1.5 trillion since September of 2008. Excess bank reserves remain at historically high levels, and the Fed's balance sheet has ballooned to over $2 trillion. If the Fed pulls this excess liquidity out of the system, it risks collapsing banks that rely on the newly created money. However, if the Fed fails to pull this excess liquidity out of the system we risk tipping into hyperinflation. This is where central banking inevitably has led us.

The idea that a handful of brilliant minds can somehow steer an economy is fatal to economic growth and stability. The Soviet Union's economy failed because of its central economic planning, and the U.S. economy will suffer the same fate if we continue down the path toward more centralized control. We need to bring back sound money and free markets- yes, even in healthcare- if we hope to soften the economic blows coming our way.

Hitler’s and Obama’s health enabling acts

By Dr. Laurie Roth Saturday, March 27, 2010

Threats, harassment, false promises, intimidation, invented crises

President Hitler signed a shockingly similar bill with similar tactics used to get it signed….threats, harassment, false promises, intimidation, invented crises. Gee….did Obama take lessons from Hitler? He certainly proudly taught ACORN workers from Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, so why not go back to the original power crazed, crowd manipulator and evil visionary? On that fateful day, March 23rd Hitler signed into law the National Law for Removing the Distress of the People bill. It was also called Hitler’s Enabling Act.

I talked with Steve Eichler of faxdc.com this week on air about these two dates and the horrifying similarities of the two events in history. Steve and I probed whether we were indeed reliving history. We both studied the events of 1933 and 2010 and said a big fat yes!

It is horrifying how similar both acts are.

First of all, understand Hitler was a brilliant, charismatic speaker who said things in style, lied through his teeth and manipulated whatever he had to, to get a vote and power. His big dagger in the heart of the German people and constitution was to somehow get the vote by Parliament to pass his Enabling Act, which, due to contrived crises and manipulated need would give him total power, full power without the need of any more votes or Parliament.

Obama also seduced 60% of the nation, congress and most the media into not asking real questions and just believing his countless lies.

What did Hitler do? He first manufactured the need and crises.

Hitler promised Health care for everyone, jobs for 100% of the German people and protection from what he called the beginning of a widespread uprising. This was the mythological uprising he and his Nazi party created by burning down the German government building, causing huge panic and rage in the people. Hitler at the time blamed the horrific burning on the communists, thus he needed a vote for his Enabling Act to stop this out of control terror in Germany.

Napalitono, Homeland Security and Obama have called conservative Americans domestic terrorists, even returning Vets. We saw the other leaked report from the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) that listed Rev. Chuck Baldwin and Ron Paul and their followers of even being potential domestic terrorists.

In 1933 it was Jews and Communists. In 2010, not only does this growing enemy list seem anti Semitic and anti Israel, but Obama has new enemies to add. These include Christians, gun owners, pro lifers, Vets, Tea Party people, Republicans. Talk radio hosts and conservatives in general.

Doug Hagmann of North East Intelligence Network homelandsecurityus.com confirmed these growing controls by our Government even more with a recent conversation he had with an intelligence source, who talked of Homeland Security actively investigating incidents and threats of violence made to at least ten Democrats. Of course you would want and expect them to investigate if there were real threats, but Doug said more lists were being made with their focus and suspicions on tea-party organizations and pro-life groups.

How did the Nazis get the votes for Hitler for the Enabling Act?
    Intimidation

The Nazis chanted loudly around the opera house Parliament was voting in, “Full powers – or else! We want the bill or fire and murder!!” They also lined the halls and aisles, glaring and intimidating Parliament members to vote Hitler’s way….or else.
    False promises

Hitler needed 31 non-Nazi votes to pass his draconian bill and shred his country’s constitution. He got those by promising a limited use of his power…only using it for critical reasons, he promised no more unemployment, peace with France, Great Britain and the Soviet Union and to sucker the Center Party to give him the votes he needed, he promised to give back some basic rights that had already been taken away from them.

Hitler spoke; Hitler lied; Hitler intimidated; Hitler promised jobs, health care and safety; and Hitler won the vote 441 to 84.

March 23, 1933, everything changed for Germany. After that vote, their constitution was shredded. The most evil dictator of our time would rise to power, shockingly, by the vote of the people in Parliament. Massive controls, mass murders targeting, Jews, Communists, non supporters of Hitler and World war followed.

The Germans believed the speeches….promises of health care, economic revival and jobs for all. No one thought in German Parliament that voting for Hitler’s Enabling Act would lead to the murder of millions of innocent people, destroy their freedom and bring WW2, but it did.

    Look at the similarities:

Obama shockingly also signed the constitution shredding, freedom stealing Health care bill into law March 23, 2010 - 77 years later to the day. He also gave speech after speech on America’s ‘crisis’ of health care and need for massive Government intervention and correction.

This Health care bill, like Hitler’s Enabling Act, forces many things on the American people. For the first time in U.S. history it forces all Americans to have health insurance or face huge fines or even jail time. This is forced health insurance that the Government says is acceptable. Forcing the public to buy a product or service has never been done by our Government. Obama and Pelosi are currently distorting and hiding behind the ‘commerce’ clause. I have interviewed two constitutional attorneys on my national radio show. They confirmed that the commerce argument trying to validate this mandate was 100% false and taken completely out of context.

Obama couldn’t find a more intimidating, powerful and menacing control of Health care than the dreaded and huge IRS. It is almost as if he put the military in control of tracking us with the potential intimidation and enforcement plans attached. It will be frightening enough with the IRS breathing down our throats. Has plan of control kind of makes you think of the Nazi party.

Obama and the Democrats used the same intimation, bribes, and harassment and pay offs as Hitler did getting the votes to line up. We saw the Louisiana Purchase, Corn Husker pay offs and pay offs to Stupack Airports. All this and more suckered the pro life Democrats to sell out on the abortion issue. They shamefully caved in when our manipulative and lying President, Obama offered the executive order to stop tax payer money from paying for abortions. In talking with several constitutional attorneys on this, they all said that issuing an executive order was pure theater since NO EXECUTIVE ORDER CAN TRUMP A LAW JUST PASSED BY THE CONGRESS AND SIGNED BY THE PRESIDENT.

We will never know the amount of pay offs, bribes and intimidation that really happened to set up the vote for Obama. We saw an example of how Obama’s goon, Rahm Emanuel, works, when he poked Rep. Eric Massa in the chest when they were showering. He intimidated and harassed him, even physically poking him while naked to vote for Obama’s bill. This was the Nazi-like response from Emanuel to one of their own who had dared to vote no the first time. Never mind that Massa was resigning largely due to his fighting cancer.

Remember, Hitler and the Nazi party started with promises of health care, environmentalism/green issues, promise of creating jobs and protecting the country from threats like the communists and Jews.

Obama has also started his first 15 months with false promises regarding jobs and the economy and health care. Soon he will push amnesty to secure illegal votes from illegal aliens then cap and trade to shred, regulate and control American business.

He is pushing on several fronts for Health ID cards, forced worker cards, as was spoken about this month in the Wall Street Journal and smart grid technology to track all the energy and electricity used in our homes. Think of it. As Hitler quickly did, Obama is boldly attempting to collect, control on line, all our medical and mental health records, tracked through the IRS. He is also planning to know who we all are, where we work, hiding behind the immigration issue. We would have to have and show our worker card to have a job. He even wants to control energy and the utility use in our own homes with the smart grid use and push.

The Nazi party was proudly ‘Green’ and environmentally obsessed. That was just one of their many attacks on the Jews….they were too capitalistic, they were mean to animals and the environment….lie lie lie.

Obama is also obsessed with passing the draconian and controlling Cap and Trade bill that is based on fraudulent, global warming science. This would micromanage, regulate and control American business right into the ground or simply turn them into obedient serfs that forcibly serve Obama and the Government, or go bankrupt.

Violence followed the manipulated votes in Hitler’s direction after his health care, environmental, economic/job and national protection push in Germany.

What will the American people do now with another unconstitutional bill designed to control us and shred our constitutional rights as Hitler did 77 years ago on the same day?

So far the Attorney General suits are flying regarding the violation of 10th amendment rights and forced mandates. Other law suits are lining up due to the multi-layer, constitutional breaches. The Tea Party groups are growing through the roof. Faxes, emails and phone calls are flying to congress like never before and mental health centers and retirement services are hiring new staff just to absorb the amount of congress people who will be out of work after the Mid terms.

We must march, scream, yell, write, call, vote, organize and pray. Together we will get this nightmare regime out of congress and our White house back. Violence is not what is needed but clear thinking and action is needed NOW. We cannot allow what happened in 1933 to happen in 2010. Wake up and focus, America!

    Oh cool.

Automatic payroll deductions for long term health care.

I'm sure they'll manage these funds with the same careful considerations they did with Social Security.

Apparently you can opt out - but I see that being troublesome...at best.

If anyone knows how to imbed video, I'm all ears.

Obama latest pick urges 'radical transfer of power' -
Claims U.S. system measures patients' quality of care by 'color of their skin'

    By Aaron Klein,
    March 29, 2010

    Donald Berwick

President Obama's reported pick to run Medicare and Medicaid, Donald Berwick, has argued for a "radical transfer of power" in the health industry and claimed patients' quality of care in the U.S. medical system is currently measured by the "color of their skin," WND has learned.

The Financial Times and other news organizations yesterday quoted an administration official stating Obama intends to nominate Berwick to take the helm of the largest medical payer in the nation – the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The news emerged as the White House announced it had sidestepped Senate confirmations by appointing 15 nominees to administration positions, including a controversial top lawyer for two U.S. labor unions.

Berwick, president and CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, has been widely recognized as one of the most sought-after experts on health-care quality. In 2005, Modern Healthcare, a leading industry publication, named Berwick the third most powerful person in American medicine.

At a 2008 Families USA conference speech documented by Health Beat, a healthcare industry blog, Berwick slammed the U.S. health-care system as "bloated" and "broken."

The blog points out Berwick noted, "There's a myth that American healthcare is the best in the world."

"It's not," he continued. "It's not even close."

"It's thought to be the best because we have the most health care," Berwick stated. However, he said, "40 percent of the care that Americans actually need is not received. ... Cost is the barrier.

"Here is a question I often ask my students," added Berwick. "When you meet a new patient, what is the one test that you could do that would tell you how long that patient is likely to live?

"Typically, students answer: 'Ask them if they smoke,' or 'Test their blood sugar.'

"No," Berwick said. "Just look at the color of their skin."

Last year, Berwick authored a Harvard position paper, "What 'Patient-Centered' Should Mean: Confessions of an Extremist." The tome was obtained and reviewed by WND.

"In this paper I argue for a radical transfer of power and a bolder meaning of 'patient-centered care,' whether in a medical home or in the current cathedral of care: the hospital," stated Berwick.

A 2004 extensive Boston Globe profile of Berwick, meanwhile, labeled the physician and activist a health-care "revolutionary" who wants to "blow up" the system:The deeper Berwick has gotten into the (health-care economic) problem over the last decade, the more radicalized he has become. At this point, mild-mannered, soft- spoken, self-effacing 57-year-old Don Berwick can best be described as a revolutionary. A lot of people say the current health-care system is broken, but by that they mean the manner of financing it. Berwick gets irritated when health-care leaders complain about a lack of resources.

"There's too much money in the system already," he says.

His critique takes aim at the medical profession's exalted view of itself.

He's convinced that the fundamentals of the current system – the same fundamentals Boston used to build its reputation as the world's medical leader – are so screwed up that it is no longer possible for the medical profession to provide reliable, high-quality care, no matter how many innovations its renowned doctors roll out, no matter how many awards they rack up. "They want to cure cancer," Berwick says. "Well, how about curing health care?"

His conclusion: To save the health care system, it first needs to be blown up.

I'll bet his solution is to degrade the health care of those with the color of privilege. He also doesn't take into account lifestyle. Popeye's isn't one of the major food groups.

Feds Investigate Death Threats to IRS Employees After Health Bill Approval
The health care law has sparked protests on radical anti-tax and anti-government Web sites and within their private, password-protected e-mail lists and message boards.

    March 30, 2010

The federal government is investigating dozens of death threats to IRS employees that have been posted online since the House passed the health care bill, FoxNews.com has learned.

The health care law has sparked protests on radical anti-tax and anti-government Web sites and within their private, password-protected e-mail lists and message boards. Some writers have labeled March 21 -- the day the House passed the bill – "Bloody Sunday," and they see it as a call to violent action against IRS workers.

In the days following the House vote, animosity toward the IRS intensified, and many heated online protests included specific discussions about the best way to go about killing tax agents.

Hundreds of comments were posted in response to an incendiary story on ********.com, the radical far-right Web site owned by radio host Alex Jones. The story, entitled, "The Cost Of Defying Obamacare: $2,250 a Month And IRS Goons Pointing Guns At Your Family," focused on the “increasing militarization of the IRS” and its expansion of powers under the new health care law.

One commenter wrote: "If they actually try to do this, there is going to be a whole lot of thugs start vanishing. This is the last line in the sand. Those fools have just signed their death warrants!!!"

"theres gonna be alot of IRS agents needing healthcare if they try to terrorize us Americans," another comment read. Yet another wrote, "Come and take them…….they will have to hire so many IRS agents because…well when 10 a day get killed….you do the math."

A federal probe has been launched into the comments. "We are actively investigating all threats made against IRS employees," J. Russell George, treasury inspector general for tax administration, said in a statement to FoxNews.com Tuesday morning.

Threats to IRS agents have increased steadily in recent years; more than 1,200 threat and assault cases between 2001 and 2008 were investigated.

In February, a small plane pilot named Joseph Stack published an anti-tax manifesto before he crashed his aircraft into a building in Austin, Texas, that housed an IRS office. Stack, who died in the attack along with an IRS worker, became a hero to many in the anti-tax and anti-government extremist movements; the inspector general launched investigations into at least 70 online comments made in support of Stack’s attack.

Now the agency’s expanded role under the health care law has sparked a new wave of animosity toward its employees, which experts say has contributed to an unprecedentedly volatile atmosphere.

"The anger and resentment within the anti-tax movement towards the new health care is overwhelming," said insurance analyst J.J. MacNab, who's testified before Congress about the anti-tax movement. "Combine this legislation with the census arriving in everyone’s mailboxes and the fact that we're heading into tax season, and this could be a really problematic month ahead."

The IRS is now working to beef up security across the country. It will be spending over $100 million in 2010 alone on office security, IRS Deputy Commissioner for Services and Enforcement Steven Miller told Congress earlier this month.

There are 755 IRS facilities in the U.S. — and 64 percent of the facilities have no security presence, according to recent congressional testimony by Colleen Kelley, the president of the National Treasury Employees Union. Union member have expressed concerns about the lack of security, she said, citing walk-in centers with no security other than a lock on the door.

One day after the House passed the health care bill, contract postings appeared on government employment Web sites requesting bids for round-the-clock armed guard security services for a half dozen facilities — including storage facilities and IRS grounds with child care centers. The IRS posted a request for quotes for 60 Remington Model 12 gauge pump-action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Division, which was first reported on the Drudge Report last month.

According to an IRS office memorandum outlining policy for the use of armed guards during the current tax season, the inspector general will provide armed escorts under the following conditions in April:

    - "When an IRS employee has contact with a taxpayer who is the subject of an open TIGTA-OI assault or threat investigation; or

"When an IRS employee has contact with a taxpayer who has been designated as a Potentially Dangerous Taxpayer (PDT) by the IRS Office of Employee Protection."

The IRS’s office of criminal investigations will provide armed escort assistance in other situations, the memo said.

But this has served only to further rile anti-tax extremists, who view themselves as patriots and pledge to confront any armed IRS agent with guns of their own.

"WE, I repeat, WE, are armed to the teeth. They need those pumps just to feel safe," one commenter wrote.

"POINT OF ORDER: I dont shoot BACK; I shoot FIRST……….BUY MORE AMMO," said another.

In a particularly heinous reply that was praised by dozens of other commenters, someone suggested – in graphic terms – that tax opponents should rape an attractive agent before killing her. "Or vice versa…don’t have a problem with that either."

Other online discussions delved into specific tactics—what weapons, what bullets, what bait—to employ in the killing of IRS agents.

Someone calling himself, "rEvolutionary" wrote, "I think it would take a different kind of bait. Humans are as predictable as any animal. What kind of bait would draw an IRS pirate..?"

"NOT LMAO"replied, "SITTING IN THE WOODS CRYING BECAUSE THEIR HOUSES ARE GONE SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO DRAW THEM IN….."

While these threats are being investigated, experts doubt there is much that law enforcement can do to predict if any of these commenters actually plan on taking action. The only thing certain is that the online community of anti-government extremists is growing, and it is increasingly being viewed by law enforcement as a threat.

"I've never seen anything like this before," said MacNab. “The health care bill could very well be the tipping point."
