Obama Praises Muslims in Easter Message
Obama and The Muslim Brotherhood Obama's 2nd Term

Does Obama ever mention Christians or Jews or Hindus when he makes his long-winded Ramadan messages? No. But he’s used his holiday message to Jews to equate the liberation of Jews from 400 years of slavery to the Islamic supremacist revolutions in Egypt, Libya etc. He’s even strongarmed Rabbis to politicize the bema on high holy days.
It’s Easter, Obama. Address the mass persecution, oppression and slaughter of Christians across the Muslim world.
No, instead he proselytize for Islam. On Easter. It’s sick.
“Obama Praises Muslims in Easter Message,” Frontpage, April 20, 2014

It just wouldn’t be Easter… without Muslims.
Obama said this time of year is a good time to remember the “common thread of humanity that connects us all – not just Christians and Jews, but Muslims and Hindus and Sikhs – is our shared commitment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.”
    Nope. Sorry.
Here’s what the Koran has to say about loving your neighbor.
Qur’an (5:51) – “O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”
So yes, Muslims believe in loving their neighbors, as long as the neighbors are Muslims. And the right kind of Muslims.
Don’t go expecting Sunni Muslims to love Shiite Muslims or vice versa. Also don’t expect Salafis to love Sunnis who are insufficiently lacking in dedication to terrorism.
So much for that “common thread of humanity.”
Lest we forget the interview Obama conducted with the NY Times. Nicholas wrote:
NY Times “I was a little Jakarta street kid,” he said in a wide-ranging interview in his office [...]. He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school...
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
Let’s review. Michael Snyder ran these Obama quotes on Islam and Christianity:

20 Quotes By Barack Obama About Islam

#1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”

#2 “The prettiest sound on Earth” is the Muslim call to prayer at sunset.

#3 “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

#4 “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

#5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

#6 “Islam has always been part of America”

#7 “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”

#8 “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

#9 “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

#10 “I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam.”

#11 “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”

#12 “So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”

#13 “In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.”

#14 “throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

#15 “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”

#16 “The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”

#17 “I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”

#18 “We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”

#19 “That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

#20 “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

20 Quotes By Barack Obama About Christianity

#1 “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”

#2 “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.”

#3 “Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination? Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?”

#4 “Even those who claim the Bible’s inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages – the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ’s divinity – are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life.”

#5 “The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics.”

#6 From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”

#7 Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”

#8 “If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”

#9 “This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.”

#10 “I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”

#11 “I don’t presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.”

#12 “I’ve said this before, and I know this raises questions in the minds of some evangelicals. I do not believe that my mother, who never formally embraced Christianity as far as I know … I do not believe she went to hell.”

#13 “Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will–they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths.”

#14 On his support for civil unions for gay couples: “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount.”

#15 “You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

#16 “In our household, the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology”

#17 “On Easter or Christmas Day, my mother might drag me to church, just as she dragged me to the Buddhist temple, the Chinese New Year celebration, the Shinto shrine, and ancient Hawaiian burial sites.”

#18 “we have Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, and their own path to grace is one that we have to revere and respect as much as our own”

#19 “All of us have a responsibility to work for the day when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of the three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra — (applause) — as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, peace be upon them, joined in prayer. (Applause.)”

#20 “I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”

He's not a Mohammadan, he's a Neo-Bolshevik, with enough of a post-christian multicultural background to be inoffensive to none and charismatic to all. I thought he might be 'Moslem Brotherhood', but I recall my history regarding the Communists and their attitude regarding the millitant Moslems today is equivalent to their attitude towards Fascists and National Socialists in the 20's and 30's; it is all a late-period phenomena of Capitalist decline, and these movements can be manipulated to become bombs going off in the Capitalist hands, or to use Stalin's metaphor about Hitler; 'Hitler is the Icebreaker of the Revolution'.

I look at Obama, and I see an Atheist, albeit a clever one, who uses religion like he uses everybody and everyone else; in order to throw down the global and domestic order he sees and terminally weaken it. He's not a Lenin either; he's a Kerensky.
"God's an old hand at miracles, he brings us from nonexistence to life. And surely he will resurrect all human flesh on the last day in the twinkling of an eye. But who can comprehend this? For God is this: he creates the new and renews the old. Glory be to him in all things!" Archpriest Avvakum

Obama’s Secret Directive Supporting Global Islamism

By Raymond Ibrahim on July 4, 2014 in Islam, Other Matters

A recent Gulf News report sheds some light on how and why the United States helped bring the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies to power, followed by all the subsequent chaos and atrocities in the Mideast region.

Large portions of the report follow with my commentary interspersed for added context:
Dubai: For the past decade, two successive US administrations have maintained close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Tunisia, Syria and Libya, to name just the most prominent cases.

The Obama administration conducted an assessment of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2010 and 2011, beginning even before the events known as the “Arab Spring” erupted in Tunisia and in Egypt. The President personally issued Presidential Study Directive 11 (PSD-11) in 2010, ordering an assessment of the Muslim Brotherhood and other “political Islamist” movements, including the ruling AKP in Turkey, ultimately concluding that the United States should shift from its longstanding policy of supporting “stability” in the Middle East and North Africa (that is, support for “stable regimes” even if they were authoritarian), to a policy of backing “moderate” Islamic political movements (emphasis in bold added throughout).
And we have certainly witnessed this shift. Chaos and the Islamic ascendancy in the Middle East and North Africa never flourished as under the Obama administration—and precisely because the administration shifted from supporting stability under secular-minded autocrats.

The most significant example of this is how the Obama administration threw Hosni Mubarak—a U.S. ally for three decades—under the bus in order to support the Islamists, most specifically the Muslim Brotherhood. And we saw how that ended—with another revolution, hailed as the largest revolution in human history, with the average Egyptian accusing Obama of being a terrorist supporter.
To this day, PSD-11 remains classified, in part because it reveals an embarrassingly naïve and uninformed view of trends in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.
“Embarrassingly naïve and uninformed view” is synonymous with the “orthodox and mainstream view pushed forth by Mideast studies professors and academics,” especially those with political influence, such as the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies of Georgetown University, in Washington D.C. Such programs, which I’m only too well acquainted with, begin with false—that is, “embarrassingly naïve and uninformed”—premises, namely: that the source of all the region’s woes are (formerly) U.S.-propped autocrats (reality is that dictators don’t create such societies but rather are the natural outcome of Islamic societies and are the ones most prone to keeping law and order—compare Iraq under Saddam and Iraq now, as a “democracy,” with “ISIS” proclaiming a caliphate).

Mideast academics have also long spearheaded the idea that there are “moderate” Islamists and “radical” Islamists, and that the U.S. should work with the former (in reality they are all radical—to be an Islamist is to be radical—the only difference is that the “moderate” Islamists don’t wear their radicalism on their sleeves, even as they work toward the same goals that the more open “radicals” work for, namely, a Sharia-enforcing caliphate).
The revelations were made by Al Hewar centre in Washington, DC, which obtained the documents in question.
This too is significant. As Daniel Greenfield writes: “Al-Hewar, which actually got hold of the documents, is linked to the International Institute of Islamic Thought… which is a Muslim Brotherhood front group. Figures in the Muslim Brotherhood had threatened to leak understandings with Obama Inc. This is the next best thing. It warns Obama that if he tries to forget about them, they can prove that the relationship was official policy.”

To be sure, after the ousting of the Brotherhood in Egypt, several Brotherhood members made, sometimes not so veiled, threats to expose the Obama administration if it turned its back on them, including top ranking Brotherhood member, Khairat al-Shatter’s son.
Through an ongoing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, thousands of pages of documentation of the US State Department’s dealings with the Muslim Brotherhood are in the process of being declassified and released to the public.
If and when these thousands of pages are released, they should be combed through, as no doubt answers to many of the Obama administration’s hitherto inexplicable policies in the Middle East will be found—to wit:
US State Department documents obtained under the FOIA confirm that the Obama administration maintained frequent contact and ties with the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood. At one point, in April 2012, US officials arranged for the public relations director of the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammad Gaair, to come to Washington to speak at a conference on “Islamists in Power” hosted by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Indeed, despite the administration’s later insistence that it did not favor the Islamists over other parties, anecdotes implying otherwise were constantly on display. In Egypt alone, U.S. ambassador Anne Patterson, due to her close ties not just to President Morsi, but the Muslim Brotherhood in general, became such a hated figure in the months before last year’s anti-Brotherhood revolution.
A State Department Cable classified “Confidential” report says the following: “Benghazi Meeting With Libyan Muslim Brotherhood: On April 2 [2012] Mission Benghazi met with a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood steering committee, who will speak at the April 5 Carnegie Endowment ‘Islamist in Power’ conference in Washington, D.C. He described the Muslim Brotherhood’s decision to form a political party as both an opportunity and an obligation in post-revolution Libya after years of operating underground.
These documents on the Obama administration’s connections with the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya are especially disturbing in the context of earlier revelations made in Arabic media, including that the Brotherhood’s Libyan wing was very much involved in the 9/11 Benghazi U.S. consulate attack.
Another State Department paper marked “Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU)” contained talking points for Deputy Secretary of State William Burns’ scheduled July 14, 2012 meeting with Mohammad Sawan, the Muslim Brotherhood leader who was also head of the Brotherhood’s Justice and Construction Party. The document is heavily redacted, but nevertheless provides clear indication of Washington’s sympathies for the emergence of the Muslim Brotherhood as a major political force in the post-Gaddafi Libya. The talking points recommended that Secretary Burns tell Sawan thatthe US government entities “share your party’s concerns in ensuring that a comprehensive transitional justice process is undertaken to address past violations so that they do not spark new discontent.”
“To address past violations so that they do not spark new discontent” is another way of stating another popular position among Mideast professors, namely that whenever Islamists engage in violence or terrorism, that is proof positive that they have a legitimate grievance, hence the US must “appease” lest it “spark new discontent” (perhaps the true backdrop of Benghazi).
The Burns paper described the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood: “Prior to last year’s revolution, the Muslim Brotherhood was banned for over three decades and its members were fiercely pursued by the Gaddafi regime.
In light of all the chaos the Islamists have been responsible for in Libya, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, et al—is it now obvious why Arab autocrats like Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarak, and currently Bashar Assad have always “banned” and “fiercely pursued” the Brotherhood and its affiliates?

Obama Thanks Muslims For “Building The Very Fabric Of Our Nation”…

    Via White House website:
As Muslims throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to them and their families. This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal, and service to the less fortunate. While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and disease.

In the United States, Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy. That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities.

On behalf of the Administration, we wish Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration. Eid Mubarak.

Obama Celebrates Muslim Contributions to the USA

by Robert Wilde 28 Jul 2014, 11:09 AM PDT 21 post a comment

On Sunday, President Obama and First Lady Michelle released a statement thanking Muslim Americans for their many “achievements and contributions… to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.”

The comments were made to mark the celebration of Eid-al-Fitr, a time of spiritual renewal for Muslims which comes at the end of the month-long fast of Ramadan. The Obamas said in their statement that Eid “celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity” and “welcomed their commitment to giving back to their communities.” The International Business Times reports that during Eid, Muslims join in Islamic prayer, while saying "Allahu Akbar," or "God is Great," and feasting.

The statement further reads that the administration “wishes Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration.” The letter ended with salutation of “Eid Mubarak,” which roughly means “blessed celebration.”

Ted Kennedy: We Can’t Ignore Iraq’s Refugees

    by Pamela Leavey December 30th, 2006 @ 1:10 am

Saddam Hussein has met his demise, but today Senator Ted Kennedy reminds us of another one of the costs of that demise, “the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women and children who have fled their homes and often their country to escape the violence of a nation increasingly at war with itself,” a war that George W. Bush dropped in their laps.
The refugees are witnesses to the cruelty that stains our age, and they cannot be overlooked. America bears heavy responsibility for their plight. We have a clear obligation to stop ignoring it and help chart a sensible course to ease the refugee crisis. Time is not on our side. We must act quickly and effectively.

Today, within Iraq, 1.6 million people have already fled or been expelled from their homes. An additional 1.8 million, fleeing sectarian violence, kidnappings, extortion, death threats and carnage, have sought refuge in neighboring countries. At least 700,000 are in Jordan, 600,000 in Syria, 100,000 in Egypt, 54,000 in Iran and 20,000 in Lebanon. Typically they are not living in refugee camps but have relocated in urban areas, where they must draw on their own meager resources to pay for food and shelter, and must depend on the good graces of the host governments.

The neighboring countries, in turn, are under enormous financial stress from the rapidly increasing needs of the refugees. In Jordan, they now make up more than 10 percent of the population — the equivalent of 30 million people flooding America’s shores. These countries are increasingly unable to meet the refugees’ basic needs.

Borders are being closed to more and more of these men, women and children, with the result that many who are most in need or in danger are trapped in the Iraqi caldron of violence. As it continues to boil, the humanitarian crisis will only worsen.

The recent report of the Iraq Study Group rightly concluded that if this refugee situation “is not addressed, Iraq and the region could be further destabilized, and the humanitarian suffering could be severe.” Sadly, as with so many other aspects of the Iraq war — from the growing threat of the insurgency to the need to provide adequate armor for our troops — the administration has failed to recognize the breadth of the crisis and to adjust our policy to address the plain facts on the ground.

There is an overwhelming need for temporary relief and permanent resettlement. Last year, however, America accepted only 202 Iraqi refugees, and next year we plan to accept approximately the same number. We and other nations of the world need to do far better.

Thousands of these refugees are fleeing because they have been affiliated in some way with the United States. Cooks, drivers and translators have been called traitors for cooperating with the United States. They know all too well that the fate of those who work with U.S. civilians or military forces can be sudden death. Yet, beyond a congressionally mandated program that accepts 50 Iraqi translators from Iraq and Afghanistan each year, the administration has done nothing to resettle brave Iraqis who provided assistance in some way to our military. This lack of conscience is fundamentally unfair. We need to do much more to help Iraqi refugees, especially those who have helped our troops.

Our nation is spending $8 billion a month to wage the war in Iraq. Yet to meet the urgent humanitarian needs of the refugees who have fled the war, the State Department plans to spend only $20 million in the current fiscal year.

America needs to lead, but we cannot adequately respond to this overwhelming crisis alone. Because of the magnitude of the problem, we also need action by Iraq’s neighbors and the rest of the world. An essential first step could be to hold an international conference on the issue — ideally sponsored by the countries in the region and the United Nations — to begin to deal with the growing number and needs of Iraqi refugees and internally displaced persons. The United States should participate in the conference and provide substantial support for the refugees. Doing so would encourage other nations to address the crisis, help the refugees and displaced persons, and assist the countries shouldering the greatest burden.

Working with Iraq’s neighbors and the United Nations, we can encourage rapid action to relieve suffering and save lives. And a productive conference could lead in turn to broader discussions and greater progress on the future of Iraq.

Clearly, in the long term we need to work together to find a way to end the violence and stop the hemorrhaging of lives. In the short term, America needs to respond far more effectively to the needs of the millions of refugees and displaced persons who are suffering so much from the war. Failure to act quickly and cooperatively with other nations will only result in more carnage, chaos and instability in the region.
It’s time for Congress to step up and take the reigns from the ‘decider’ and end this mess in Iraq. We’ve created one hell of a mess over there. There’s an irony that one dictator is dead, but Iraq is still in turmoil.

Compassionate Conservatism, Except Toward Iraqi Refugees

July 11, 2007 at 9:37 am | Posted in American politics, Bush Administration, corruption, family values, Iraq, Syria | 5 Comments

The Bush administration and the Republicans claim they are “compassionate conservatives,” whatever that really means. Well, someone ought to ask them why under the Bush administration, the United States has only accepted 202 Iraqi refugees to this point. 202.

    That’s it.

That’s all the Iraqis fleeing the horror of what is happening in their home country the United States has allowed to enter. By comparison, Syria has taken in 449,000.

Kinda makes you look foolish when Bashir Assad is more compassionate to displaced Iraqis than the Republicans who claim they are compassionate.

Then Democrats began pushing legislation to take tens of thousands of refugees some of which are radical Muslims. They were complicit in turning Michigan's Dearborn into Dearbornistan.

House Bill Would Admit More Iraqi Refugees

    By Nora Boustany

    Washington Post Foreign Service
    Thursday, May 10, 2007

House Democrats plan to introduce a bill this morning that would increase by at least 20,000 the number of Iraqi refugees eligible for resettlement in the United States in 2007 and 2008. It would also admit 15,000 "special immigrant status" Iraqis and their families for each of the next four years.

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) will hold a news conference with Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) and Iraq's ambassador to Washington, Samir Sumaidaie, to explain the legislation, the "Responsibility to Iraqi Refugees Act." They will be joined by a West Point graduate who served in Iraq and representatives of the International Rescue Committee, Amnesty International and the Church World Service.

The Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees estimates that more than 4 million Iraqis have been displaced by the war and now live in neighboring countries or in other parts of Iraq. An additional 50,000 to 70,000 Iraqis are displaced from their homes every month, the agency estimates.

Although current regulations allow for 7,000 Iraqi refugees to be processed for U.S. entry by year's end, only seven entered the country in February and 11 in March, compared to about 8,000 entering Sweden, officials said.

The "special immigrant status" Iraqis include interpreters and others who have worked for the U.S. government, the United Nations, contractors or U.S.-based nongovernmental organizations. Current law allows in 50 interpreters for U.S. personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"There is stark awareness of what we have done for putting tens of thousands of Iraqis at risk because they helped us," Blumenauer said.
Ken Bacon, president of Refugees International, said the bill "addresses the group to which we have a moral obligation."

"Right now, it is not a bipartisan bill and that is a shame," Bacon said yesterday.

"How we address this flood of refugees coming into the U.S. and the millions who remain in the region, who could pose a future security problem to the U.S., should be bipartisan," he added.

Blumenauer told of how poignant it was for him to help a member of the Oregon National Guard try to get his interpreter out of Iraq. The man was moving every night in an attempt to stay safe.

A day after he called in from his uncle's house, Blumenauer said, he was killed.

The refugee category would include female heads of households, members of religious communities such as Chaldo-Assyrian Christians, Jews, Sabean Mandeans, Yazidis, Bahais and other vulnerable minority groups such as gay Iraqis and Iraqis with family members in the United States.

    U.S. Refugee Admissions Program

The U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) is an inter-agency effort involving a number of governmental and non-governmental partners, both overseas and domestically, whose mission is to resettle refugees in the United States. The U.S. Department of State’s (DOS) Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) has overall management responsibility for the USRAP and has the lead in proposing admissions numbers and processing priorities.

Within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has responsibility for interviewing refugee applicants and adjudicating applications for refugee status. Through its cooperative agreements with Resettlement Support Centers (RSC), PRM handles the intake of refugee referrals from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), U.S. embassies, and certain non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as well as the prescreening of cases and the out-processing of individuals for travel to the United States.

    Iraqi Refugee Processing

Part of the humanitarian mission of the USRAP is to provide resettlement opportunities to especially vulnerable Iraqi refugees. Since large-scale Iraqi refugee processing was announced in February 2007, DHS and DOS have worked cooperatively to increase the number of Iraqi refugees admitted to the United States as part of the worldwide commitment.

DHS and DOS have worked closely to expand processing capacity for Iraqi refugee applicants while ensuring the highest level of security. In support of these efforts, USCIS currently deploys approximately 55 officers per quarter to the Middle East to conduct refugee processing circuit rides. Since the inception of the program in 2007, 203,321 Iraqi nationals have been referred to the USRAP for resettlement to the United States. USCIS has interviewed 142,670 Iraqi refugee applicants; approved 199,202 for resettlement and, 84,902 Iraqi refugees have arrived in the United States.

    Process for Resettlement

In identifying Iraqi cases for referral to the USRAP, UNHCR and DOS have been prioritizing 11 categories of especially vulnerable refugees, including individuals who are affiliated with the U.S. government and religious minorities, among others.

Iraqi refugees may gain access to this program through referrals from UNHCR, a U.S. Embassy, or certain NGOs. In addition, Iraqi nationals who worked for the U.S. government, a U.S. contractor, or a U.S.-based media organization or NGO, and their family members can apply directly to the USRAP in Jordan, Egypt and Iraq without a UNHCR referral. Iraqi applicants will also be considered for resettlement if an eligible family member applies on their behalf in the United States by filing Form I-130, a Petition for Alien Relative. These latter two categories – direct application cases and Form I-130 beneficiaries – are known as Priority 2 (P-2) cases. Before 2012, the majority of cases processed by the USRAP were referrals from UNHCR. Since 2012, P-2 cases have comprised a larger share of cases.

USCIS officers are currently interviewing Iraqi refugee applicants primarily in Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq. Refugee processing in Iraq focuses on certain Iraqis who are associated with the U.S. and their family members. USCIS officers have previously interviewed Iraqi refugee applicants in Syria as well, but have not been able to work in Syria to process refugee applications since March 2011.

    Determining Eligibility for Refugees

Eligibility for refugee status is decided on a case-by-case basis. A USCIS officer conducts a personal interview of the applicant designed to elicit information about the applicant's admissibility and claim for refugee status. During the interview, the officer confirms the basic biographical data of the applicant; verifies that the applicant was properly given access to the USRAP; determines whether the applicant has suffered past persecution or has a well-founded fear of future persecution on the basis of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion in his or her home country; determines whether the applicant is admissible to the United States and whether he or she has been firmly resettled in another country; and assesses the credibility of the applicant.

    Ensuring Security

We are committed to conducting the most rigorous screening in order to ensure that those being admitted through the refugee program are not seeking to harm the United States. In May 2007, DHS announced and implemented an Administration-coordinated, enhanced background and security check process for Iraqi refugees applying for resettlement in the United States. The security check regime, including both biographic and biometric checks, has been enhanced periodically over the last several years as new opportunities and interagency partnerships with the law enforcement and intelligence communities have been identified. These enhancements are a reflection of the commitment of DHS and other agencies to conduct the most thorough checks possible to prevent dangerous individuals from gaining access to the United States through the refugee program. No case is finally approved until results from all security checks have been received and analyzed.

Procedures for Iraqi Citizens Currently in the U.S.

Iraqis currently in the United States, who are not able to return to Iraq because they have been persecuted or fear that they will be persecuted on account of their race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion, may apply for asylum with USCIS. Information on the process of applying for asylum in the U.S. can be found on our Web site: www.USCIS.gov/asylum.

Procedures for Iraqi Citizens Living Outside of Iraq

Refugees and asylum seekers should seek to comply with all legal requirements of the country in which they are located, including registration with host governments if required. In addition, all Iraqi asylum seekers located in third countries should register with the nearest UNHCR office.

UNHCR has the international mandate to provide protection and assistance to refugees and may be able to provide a protection document and possibly other assistance if needed. For a small number of extremely vulnerable individuals, this could include referral to the USRAP or another country's resettlement program. UNHCR will identify individuals for resettlement referral based on an assessment of their vulnerability at the time of registration.

In Jordan and Egypt, direct access to the USRAP is available to direct-hire employees of the U.S. Mission in Iraq and other Iraqis who worked for the U.S. government or U.S. government contractors, or for U.S.-based media organizations or NGOs and their family members. Any Iraqi, who has fled to Jordan or Egypt because of his/her association with the U.S., is encouraged to contact the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to receive guidance. IOM can be reached at IC@iom.int. Additional information is on the DOS/PRM web: http://www.state.gov/j/prm/index.htm

USCIS staff are currently unable to travel to Syria to interview refugee applicants. Iraqi refugee applicants currently in Syria may contact the local UNHCR office if they are in immediate danger or have concerns regarding assistance, protection, or resettlement. Iraqi refugees who decide to leave Syria should contact the RSC and UNHCR office in the country of their new location. USCIS will continue to process such cases in the new location.

Procedures for Iraqi Citizens Currently in Iraq

In Iraq, direct access to the USRAP is available to direct-hire employees of the U.S. Mission in Iraq and other Iraqis who worked for the U.S. government or U.S. government contractors, or for U.S.-based media organizations or NGOs, and their family members. Any Iraqi, who believes he/she is at risk or has experienced serious harm as a result of association with the U.S., is encouraged to contact the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to receive guidance. IOM can be reached in Iraq at IC@iom.int.

Additional information is on the DOS/PRM web: http://www.state.gov/j/prm/index.htm

    Special Immigrant Visas for Iraqis

Iraqi nationals who supported the U.S. armed forces or Chief of Mission authority as translators or interpreters, or Iraqi nationals who were or are employed by or on behalf of the U.S. government in Iraq on or after March 20, 2003, for a period of at least one year may be eligible for Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) processing. The SIV program is separate and distinct from the USRAP. However, certain Iraqi SIV recipients are eligible for the same resettlement assistance, entitlement programs, and other benefits as refugees admitted under the refugee program.

Video: American Muslims Stoning Christians in Dearborn, MI (Original edit)

What is happening to our society?

Where are the morals and values?

The video that I have posted below shows the changing values of our government and police force.

The intrusion of Muslim and Islamic values into our once great country.

The persecution of Christians which is now happening in America.

This small group of Christian men are shown peacefully sharing the word of God. Hundreds if not thousands of Muslims surround them, cursing, throwing objects at them (cement, stones, bottles, crates, whatever they can find).

Police come by several times to speak to the Christians.

Yet, they offer them no help, and actually accuse the Christians of instigating violence and disruptive behavior. Unbelievable! You do not see any of the police stopping the Muslims or even speaking to them.

This is what’s happening to America. It is being overrun with Muslims.

Peaceful Muslims, just like the ones in this video. This is the truth. They speak lies and tell you they are peaceful. Yet in the video they are cursing, harassing, threatening and attacking the Christians.

Whatever happened to the right of free speech? Why aren’t the police protecting our rights?

This is the world we now live in. What was once “Good” is now “Bad” and what was once “Bad” is now “Good”! The world has turned inside out. Evil is increasing by the day. Demonic forces are hard at work.

This is a must see video. I know that it is long, but, you must see the truth of what is happening to America! God Bless!

    FLASHBACKS:

U.S. Will Speed Entry Of Refugees From Iraq

    Network News
    By Paul Lewis
    Washington Post Staff Writer
    Saturday, September 22, 2007

About 12,000 Iraqi refugees will be admitted into the United States over the next year as measures to speed up the process begin to take effect, government officials said yesterday.

The new target represents an increase in the number and pace of Iraqi refugees entering the country and means that 17 percent of the 70,000 refugees expected to be admitted next year will come from Iraq, officials from the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security told reporters.

An estimated 4 million Iraqis have been displaced and about 2.2 million have fled the country, mainly to Syria and Jordan, since the March 2003 U.S. invasion. Tens of thousands of those are believed to have left after they were targeted because of their work for U.S. or coalition authorities.

In February, State Department officials promised to expand their commitment to Iraqi refugees, but long delays in reviewing applications have drawn sharp criticism from lawmakers, refugee groups and senior diplomats.

Officials said that of the 11,000 refugee applicants referred to the United States by the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees this fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30, only 1,135 have been admitted. More are scheduled to enter before the end of the month, but officials acknowledged that they will probably fall short of the State Department's target of 2,000 arrivals this fiscal year.

The Bush administration announced on Wednesday the appointment of two senior officials who will work to improve the government's response to the Iraqi refugee crisis. Immigration law expert Lori Scialabba was appointed as a senior adviser at the Homeland Security Department, and diplomat James B. Foley will become the State Department's senior coordinator for Iraqi refugee issues.

Yesterday's announcement was received with caution by some lawmakers. They said the administration has an obligation to protect many more Iraqis whose lives have been endangered because of their work for U.S. or coalition authorities.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) said the administration's performance has been "slow and halting," and he promised to press ahead with legislative reforms to U.S. refugee programs.

"America has an obligation to help those who are persecuted, especially those who have the assassin's target on their back because of their association with our government," he said.

But administration officials defended their record at yesterday's briefing, saying that before February there was no program in the region to handle the unexpected flood of Iraqi refugees.

"We had to literally build programs in Syria and Jordan," said Terry Rusch, who directs the office of admissions in the State Department's Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. She added that the refugee program has "accelerated dramatically" now that resources are in place.

Paul Rosenzweig, deputy assistant secretary for policy at Homeland Security, described the government's efforts over the past six months as "heroic."

"You show me another government program that goes from a standing start, ground zero, to full on in six months," he said. Of the 4,300 Iraqi refugees interviewed by his department this fiscal year, he said, 753 have been rejected for reasons including criminal records and inconsistencies in their stories.

The officials conceded continued difficulty in processing cases in Syria, where a number of U.S. officials have been denied entry visas.

"Not only has DHS not been able to get in to do more adjudications, but we have not been able to expand our own processing staff at the pace we would normally have done because of restrictions by the government of Syria," Rusch said.

Syria has absorbed 1.5 million Iraqi refugees -- by far the most of any nation.

But since September 2006, only 208 have been admitted to the United States after being processed in that country.

Large influx of Iraqi refugees continue migrating to metro Detroit

    Thursday, 03.28.2013, 11:09pm

According to a report, since the start of the Iraq War in 2003 roughly 30,000 Iraqi refugees have arrived in metro-Detroit. Some of the obstacles the refugees are dealing with include language barriers, driving, poor mental health, and not having the high education levels required to get employed among other serious issues.

In 2012 Michigan estimated 4,600 arrivals. March marked the tenth anniversary of the Iraq war.

Speaking to WDET Madhia Tariq, a project coordinator for the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services said 75 percent of the refugees seeking help from ACCESS are Iraqis. She says many local programs are only available to help Iraqis for a short term, but ACCESS works with refugees for longer terms or as long as necessary.

ACCESS and the Arab and Chaldean Council (ACC) both have programs to assist Iraqis who're victims of torture. A significant portion of Iraqi refugees have migrated to Macomb County, and are shaping its makeup.

Tariq said she doesn't see the large influx of Iraqi refugees decreasing soon, and expects it to continue for a few years she noted that in the future, the group could also see a significant number of Syrian refugees emigrating to southeast Michigan, who will also require assistance. If you know a refugee who's a victim of torture call ACCESS at 313.842.7010 or the ACC, 248.559.1990 to ask about their programs.

Default Re: Is Obama a Muslim?

    Obama’s Muslim Founding Fathers

July 30, 2014 by Robert Spencer

In his message to Muslims on their holiday Eid al-Fitr, issued Sunday, Barack Obama asserted that “Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.” He did not, unfortunately, provide even a single example of these “many achievements and contributions” that Muslims have made to “building the very fabric of our nation,” but he said that there were many, so they shouldn’t be hard to list a few, right?

You remember a few of them, don’t you? Remember the Muslim signers of the Declaration of Independence? With Yahya al-Hanqoq’s large signature front and center, so that the infidel King George III could read it without his spectacles? And then there was Ibrahim Clark of New Jersey and El-Bridge Gerry of Massachusetts. Remember also the Muslims who gave James Madison information about Muhammad’s Constitution of Medina – which, as we all know, granted equal rights to women and religious minorities, predating such documents in the West by 1,000 years. Madison, of course, used the Medina Constitution as a model when framing the U.S. Constitution.

Then there were the Muslims who fought so valiantly during the War of 1812 and the Mexican War. And in the titanic struggles over slavery, Muslims were front and center: remember the Muslim abolitionist Senators who faced down the South in the antebellum Senate, the Senate chamber ringing with their oratory about how the Qur’an says to free slaves and so the U.S. government should, too? Remember the Muslim regiments in the Civil War (all on the Union side, of course!)? Then in the aftermath of the Civil War came the Muslim industrialists who brought us railroads, the telegraph, the telephone.
Not to be forgotten are the Muslims who also fought courageously in the Spanish-American War, World War I and World War II, and the Muslim entertainers who kept us laughing on the Vaudeville circuit and on the home front during those terrible world wars with their jokes from the Hadith.

None of this rings a bell? Not to worry. Before too long it will be taught in all the textbooks. Absurd? Maybe – but no more than Obama’s statement itself. And even if they don’t go so far as to Islamize John Hancock and imagine Muslim Americans fighting against slavery and defending America in world wars, public school textbooks already present a ridiculously rosy picture of Islam. A study by the American Textbook Council, an independent national research organization that evaluates the quality of textbooks, found that ten of the most widely used middle school and high school social studies textbooks “present an incomplete and confected view of Islam that misrepresents its foundations and challenges to international security.”

The books present highly tendentious constructions as undisputed truth, making common cause with West-hating multiculturalists to bowdlerize the presentation of Islam, denigrate or downplay Christianity and Western civilization, and transform numerous public school textbooks into proselytizing tracts.

Meanwhile, even though the Constitution of Medina is of highly doubtful authenticity and is contradicted both by Islamic law and by Islamic traditions about Muhammad’s actions, it is already becoming common for Islamic apologists to invoke it as evidence that Islam and democracy are not only compatible, but that Islam originated the idea of republican rule. Ahmadi Muslim apologist Qasim Rashid recently wrote in the Huffington Post that “when Prophet Muhammad was popularly appointed Medina’s ruler, he entered into a pact with the Jewish communities of Medina. Through this pact, he granted equal political rights to non-Muslims. They were ensured complete freedom of religion and practice.” Undercutting Rashid’s case are the facts that Muhammad ended up exiling two of the Jewish tribes of Medina and massacring the third, and that the Qur’an mandates that Jews (and Christians) in the Islamic state, rather than enjoying “equal political rights,” must “pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued” (9:29).

But facts just get in the way of the narrative, and so the facts must go. It feels so good and multicultural to imagine Muslims at the founding of this nation, contributing to its very fabric, doesn’t it? Heck, speaking of fabric, probably Betsy Ross was a Muslim. And doesn’t the flag of South Carolina have a crescent moon on it?

Likewise regarding slavery – I imagine Muslim abolitionists above in pre-Civil War America above, in trying to give some substance to Barack Obama’s absurd statement. In reality, of course, there were no Muslim abolitionists, or Muslims, in the antebellum United States. What’s more, there were no Muslim abolitionists anywhere. Islamic apologists in the West routinely claim that Islam forbids slavery, but in fact the Qur’an takes slavery for granted, and according to Islamic tradition, Muhammad hallowed the practice by owning slaves himself. In some Muslim nations, it is still practiced, even though it is against the law (laws that initially began to be adopted in Muslim countries under Western pressure). Mauritania, for example, abolished slavery in 1981 and made it a crime in 2012, but it is still widespread — because it has Islamic sanction. Yet I myself remember being taught in high school, way back in the 1970s, that the last country to abolish slavery was Brazil, in 1889. There was no mention of Saudi Arabia’s abolishing slavery in 1962, or of the persistence of the practice in some Muslim countries. And that was forty years ago, showing that whitewashing of Islam in the textbooks, now rampant, had begun even then.

So when it comes to Barack Obama’s claim that Muslim Americans have made contributions to “building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy,” if there were no Muslim Founding Fathers scrutinizing the Constitution of Medina for material they could use in the charter document of their new nation, then they have to be invented. The textbooks have already departed from reality regarding Islam – what could possibly be the problem with a few more steps into fantasy? What difference, at this point, does it make? Yahya al-Hanqoq, grab your quill!

Allen West Declares Obama An Islamist

Former Florida Rep. Allen West declared President Obama an Islamist who is intentionally working against the security of the United States. “The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America,” the former Florida congressman and retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel wrote in the post published Wednesday.

Among six examples he gives to back up his point is Obama’s decision to release of five Taliban in exchange for Sgt. Bergdahl in May, providing weapons of support to the Egyptian government led by the Muslim Brotherhood, and negotiating with Hamas.

He also writes at length about Obama’s recent decision to lift a ban on Libyan’s attending U.S. flight schools and studying nuclear science, which had been in place since 1983.

“Can anyone explain what the strategy and objective is here in lifting this ban with a nation that is or should be on the terrorist watch list?” he asks. ”Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause.”

“The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals,” he continues.

“Anyone supporting this Libyan ban being lifted is indeed an enemy of this state.”

Obama is certainly in my mind an Islamist, and he's not the only one in his Administration, either.

Obama: Get Off Your High Horse Christians Committed Terrible Deeds In The Name of Christ

President Obama today said he and other Christians should not “get on our high horse” with respect to the ISIS rampages in the name of religion, suggesting that Christians had done similar things in the name of their religion during the crusades and with slavery in the United States.

Obama listed the many outrages throughout the world being carried out unjustly in the name of Islam. But then he added:
Lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ . . .

Obama at Prayer Breakfast: "People Committed Terrible Deeds In The Name Of Christ"

President Obama spoke at the annual congressional prayer breakfast, where legislators, officials and clergy gathered to offer thanks to God for the blessings bestowed on the United States.

Obama touched on the claims made by his political opponents that he is blind to a fascist ideology within Islam. Instead, he says that those who commit acts of violence in the name of Islam are hijacking an otherwise peaceful religion, which has happened throughout human history to many different faiths, including our own. After all, "during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said. And "in our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ."

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: We see faith driving us to do right, but we also see faith being twisted and distorted, used as a wedge, or worse, sometimes as a weapon.

From a school in Pakistan to the streets of Paris we have seen acts of terror and violence perpetrated by those who profess to stand up for faith; their faith. Professing to stand up for Islam but, in fact, are betraying it.

We see ISIS, a brutal, vicious death cult that in the name of religion carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism. Terrorizing religious minorities, like the Yazidis, subjecting women to rape as a weapon of war, and claiming the mantle of religious authority for such actions.

We see sectarian war in Syria. The murder of Muslims and Christians in Nigeria. Religious war in the Central African Republic. A rising tide of anti-Semitism and hate crimes in Europe. So often perpetrated in the name of religion.

So how do we as people of faith reconcile these realities?

The profound good, the strength, the tenacity, the compassion and love that can flow from all of our faiths, operating alongside those who seek to hijack religions for their own murderous ends.

Humanity has been grappling with these questions throughout human history, and unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the crusades and the inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow, all too often was justified in the name of Christ.

Michelle and I returned from India, an incredible, beautiful country, full of this magnificent diversity, but a place where in past years religious faiths of all types have on occasion been targeted by other peoples of faith, simply due to their heritage and believes. Acts of intolerance that would have shocked Gandhi, the person who helped to liberate that nation.

So this is not unique to one group or one religion. There is a tendency in us, a sinful tendency that can pervert and distort our faith.

In today's world when hate groups have their own Twitter accounts and bigotry can fester in hidden places in cyber space, it can be even harder to counteract such intolerance, but God compels us to try. And in this mission I believe there are a few principles that can guide us, particularly those of us who profess to believe. And first we should start with some basic humility.

I believe that the starting point of faith is some doubt. Not being so full of yourself and so confident that you are right and -- and that God speaks only to us, and doesn't speak to others, that God only cares about us and doesn't care about others. That somehow we alone are in possession of the truth.

Our job is not to ask that God respond to our notion of truth. Our job it to be true to him, his word and his commandments, and we should assume humbly that---

...we're confused and don't always know what we're doing, and we're staggering and stumbling towards him. And have some humility in that process.

And that means we have to speak up against those who would misuse his name to justify oppression or violence or hatred with that fierce certainty. No God condones terror. No grievance justifies the taking of innocent lives, or the oppression of those who are weaker or fewer in number. And so as people of faith we are summoned to push back against those who try to distort our religion-- Any religion for their own nihilistic ends, and here at home and around the world we'll constantly reaffirm that fundamental freedom. Freedom of religion. The right to practice our faith how we choose, to change our faith if we choose to practice no faith at all, if we choose, and to do so free of persecution and fear and discrimination.

There's wisdom in our founders, writing in those documents that helped found this nation, the notion of freedom of religion, because they understood the need for humility. They also understood the need to uphold freedom of speech, that there was a connection between freedom of speech and freedom of religion, for to infringe on one right under the pretext of protecting another is a betrayal of both.

Defending Islam a particular crusade of Obama

    Doug MacEachern, columnist | azcentral.com 1:44 p.m. MST February 5, 2015

This is a story of simple coincidence, nothing more. Arrive at your own conclusions. It's just... a weird thing.

I just started binge-watching on Netflix a History Channel production from 2012, "Mankind: The Story of All of Us."

    It's interesting.

Not exactly plowing un-tilled earth, for the most part. But interesting. The 12-part series relies on some rather odd historical "experts," like an excitable and bald former Navy Seal, as well as (I am not kidding) NBC news anchor Brian Williams, whose grasp of even very recent history seems a little tenuous right now.

Well, just last night, I watched a segment titled "Warriors," that in part delves into the era of the Crusades, which, by any stretch, was not Christianity's finest hour on earth. According to "Mankind's" tally, a million people died over the course of the various crusades. I've got no reason to doubt that. Very nasty time. They call them the "Dark Ages" for a reason (although some disagree on even that).

By weird coincidence, President Obama invoked exactly that sentiment this morning during his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

The president observed that "humanity has been grappling with" its habit of murdering others in the name of religion for a long time. And he characterizes modern-day horrors being perpetrated in the name of Islam by the likes of the Islamic State in Iraq and Boko Haram in Nigeria as latter-day manifestations of an ages-old blood-lust of which all religions have been guilty, from time to time.

    Like Christians during the Crusades.

"And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ," said Obama.

President Obama, as most of us know, is very defensive of the Muslim faith. He goes to great lengths to avoid tying the word "Islamic" to the word "terrorism." (see: here, here and here). And, on Thursday, he modestly upped that game by calling out Christianity for acting just as poorly... albeit, 800 or 900 years ago.

Now, I'm not sure which "high horse" Obama is referring to. I don't know if the current spate of terrorist murders in the name of Allah has caused the terror debate to descend entirely into "my religion is better than yours" territory. I don't really think that is where most critics of groups like al-Qaeda and the Islamic State are going when they use phrases like "Islamist terrorists." But, apparently, that is what the president thinks. Get off your precious high horse. Christians have been just as bad. Well, OK.

As I said, this is just a story of weird coincidence. Which is this: One of the more authoritative talking heads in the "Mankind" series is Henry Louis Gates, Jr., professor of African and African American research at Harvard.

"When you think about the brutality of the crusades, when you think about what was done to the people who were there, it just flies in the face of what the Christian message was all about," said Gates in the "Mankind" segment on the crusades.

When I heard President Obama's speech this morning, I couldn't help thinking that I'd heard this point of view expressed before. And not long ago before.

Then, it dawned on me that I had heard it the evening before, from President Obama's close friend and beer-drinking buddy, Professor Gates.

Obama At National Prayer Breakfast: ’People Committed Terrible Deeds In The Name of Christ’

At the National Prayer Breakfast, President Obama reminded attendees that violence rooted in religion isn’t exclusive to Islam, but has been carried out by Christians as well.
Obama said that even though religion is a source for good around the world, there will always be people willing to “hijack religion for their own murderous ends.”

“Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said. “In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”

Obama also denounced Islamic State terrorists for professing to stand up for Islam when they were actually “betraying it.”

“We see ISIL, a brutal vicious death cult that in the name of religion carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism,” he said criticizing them for “claiming the mantle of religious authority for such actions.”

By this logic, BLACKS are responsible for slavery in America.

America was responsible for the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Europe was responsible for Hitler's invasion of Poland.

White, middle class Americans were the cause of AIDS in Monkeys and monkey fuckers in Africa.

And some dumb ass in Iowa is responsible for the Ebola virus.

Christians are not responsible for the violence against themselves perpetrated by Islamists. Wait, MUSLIMS. They ARE MUSLIMS.

NO Innocent person deserves to die by being beheaded, burned to death because some religion has tenants that says it's ok.

Children, little boys watching a SOCCER GAME do NOT deserve to die because they watched a soccer game (I'd like to get my hands on the fucker that ordered that.... beheading would be the least of his worries).

Terrorism is not up for debate. This is not a religious debate of who is worse, and is irrelevant.

Terrorist, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boka Bullshit Haroom or whatever they call themselves need to be shut down, KILLED and DESTROYED.

These people will continue until they are DEAD. Get it Obama, DEAD.

Kill them. Close your mouth, order the destruction of these organizations and send in the US military to do the job.

Obama Equivocates Christians With Jihad Terrorists At National Prayer Breakfast

In the continuing push to equivocate Christians with Jihadists, Obama cites the Crusades and Inquisition as evidence Christianity employs violence in the Name of Christ, states we must ‘push back those who would distort OUR religion for their nihilistic ends’.

History shows and teaches, that whenever the leaders or ruling class of a society demonize and equivocate a specific group as a threat to society – WITHOUT EXCEPTION, such groups soon find themselves criminalized, imprisoned tortured and exterminated.

Why do I mention this? Because there is a meme growing from the halls of power and the Ruling Class in the USA that the problem in the world is not Islamic Jihadists, but Christians – specifically Conservative Biblically-based Christians.

One insidious technique they employ is the comparison of Islamic atrocities taking place right now, with Christianity.

Obama rails against ‘atrocities committed in the name of religion’ while demanding that any and all references to Jihad and Islam in the same sentence be expunged from definition, he not only ignores atrocities committed in the Name of the State, he justifies those atrocities committed in the name of Islam, as not being Islamic.

This is becoming more self-evident every single day:

Yesterday Obama had a ‘secret White House Meeting’ with Muslim leaders, that his regime has refused to discuss or reveal who was in attendance.

President Obama met with American Muslim leaders this afternoon, according to the White House schedule, but so far the administration is unwilling to reveal who attended the meeting, which was closed to the press.
This morning, at the “National Prayer Breakfast”, where Muslim leaders perpetrating Jihadist genocide were invited and in attendance, His Heinous made the outrageous and deliberate comparison of ISIS with Christianity:

The president said that while religion is a source for good around the world, people of all faiths have been willing to “hijack religion for their own murderous ends.”

“Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said. “In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”So it is not unique to one group or one religion,” Obama said. “There is a tendency in us, a simple tendency that can pervert and distort our faith.”

“So it is not unique to one group or one religion,” Obama said. “There is a tendency in us, a simple tendency that can pervert and distort our faith.”
Really?? I do not find Christians today advancing their faith by doing things like this:

The outrageous attempt to equate Jihadists with Christianity by citing the Crusades, Jim Crow and the Inquisition is not only intellectually dishonest, it is intended to inflame Jihadists even further as Bizpac Review rightly notes:

…the Crusades, slavery and Jim Crow aren’t currently a problem for the civilized world. So his attempt to draw a moral equivalency — aside from being intellectually dishonest — is likely to do more harm by emboldening Islamic terrorists.

Also, perhaps Obama needs a history lesson. The Crusades took place between 1095 and 1291; the Spanish Inquisition started in 1478.

Not to mention the Crusades were a response to Muslim aggression in the Holy Land.

Perhaps the president hasn’t watched the news, but Islamic terrorism is a problem today.
Of course Obama was not done, it was not enough to suggest that Christians are just like ISIS Jihadists – who kill and commit atrocity in the name of religion for the purpose of forcing their faith at the end of the sword upon the world, Obama then had to preach against ‘exclusivity':

Obama called for all people of faiths to show humility about their beliefs and reject the idea that “God speaks only to us and doesn’t speak to others.”
So we must show ‘humility’ and change our faith to believe that all religion is equal before God? Did the God of the Bible not say that He is a Jealous God – and that we should have no others before Him? Did Jesus not tell us that there is no path to the Father except through Him?

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. No one can come to the Father except through me. – John 14:6

Obama continues to demonstrate the fact that he is no Christian of any kind, acts as a Jihad sympathizer and traitor from the highest office in the land.

Krauthammer 'Stunned' By Obama's 'Banal & Offensive' Prayer Breakfast Remarks

by Fox News Insider Posted in:

Charles Krauthammer tonight slammed President Barack Obama’s remarks today at the National Prayer Breakfast, where Obama compared ISIS attacks to the violence committed by Christians in the Crusades.

“Humanity has been grappling with these questions throughout human history. Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ," Obama said.

Krauthammer told Sean Hannity, “I was stunned that the president could say something so at once banal and offensive.”

Krauthammer noted that the speech came two days after a shocking act of barbarism, yet Obama’s message is to remember the Crusades. Krauthammer remarked that the story of the Crusades is over, and today’s story is of the overwhelming barbarism due to radical Islam.

“The present issue is Muslim radicalism and how to attack it,” he said.

Krauthammer also weighed in on Brian Williams’ untrue story of being in a helicopter that was hit by an RPG, calling it “a big mistake on his part.”

“If you’re gonna make up a story, you do it when there aren’t other people around […] you tell a story about wrestling a lion to the ground because, generally speaking, lions don’t have access to the Internet. But you don’t do it about an event that everybody saw and that you know in the end you’re gonna be unmasked about,” Krauthammer said.

Plus, Hannity asked Krauthammer to sound off on "American Sniper." Hear what he had to say in the video above.

Yes, it was one man, and the Germans were killing many at a time (their thinking was it was better to kill them in the ovens and gas chambers than have to feed them I'm sure for their own attempts at personal justification).

    What You Need To Know
On Monday AlertsUSA subscribers were notified via SMS messages to their mobile devices regarding new statements coming from ISIS threatening to attack the White House, Big Ben at the Palace of Westminster in London as well as the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

In a new 28-minute Arabic-language audio message posted to the Internet, ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani warned Jews and Christians that they could either "convert to Islam or pay the ultimate price when your armies are expelled from Muhammad's peninsula, from Jerusalem, and all Muslim lands." He went on to say "if Jews and Christians continued on their current path, they would soon regret having done so and be incapable of preventing the surge to the caliphate."

Al-Adnani also indicated that ISIS had major plans:
"We want Kabul, Karachi, Riyadh, Tehran, Baghdad, Damascus, Jerusalem, and Cairo, Sana'a, Doha, Abu Dhabi, and Amman. The Muslims will return to power, to be the vanguard and lead in every place."
ISIS ATTACKS IN TUNISIA, US EMBASSY WARNS
On Wedensday AlertsUSA subscribers were notified of a warning message from the U.S. Embassy in Tunis, Tunisia advising American citizens traveling to or in Tunisia to exercise extreme caution following a terror attack on the popular Bardo Museum in the capital. Late this week, the Islamic State formally claimed responsibility for the attack.

20 foreign tourists, mostly Europeans, were killed in the attack. While this is the worst terror attack in the country since a 2002 suicide bombing in the city of Djerba, it is important to note that Tunisians make up a significant contingent of the foreign fighters currently operating in Syria, Iraq and Libya.
According to an Islamic State spokesman in an audio recording posted the Internet,: "We tell the apostates who sit on the chest of Muslim Tunisia: Wait for the glad tidings of what will harm you, o impure ones, for what you have seen today is the first drop of the rain."

The U.S. Embassy in Tunis is reminding U.S. citizens of the importance of increased vigilance and the need for caution while in the country, and in particular, while visiting public venues frequented by large numbers of foreigners, such as hotels, shopping centers, and tourist sites and restaurants.

IRAN AND HEZBOLLAH REMOVED FROM LIST OF STATE SPONSORS OF TERROR

In a stunning move which has many in the U.S. military and intelligence communities shaking their heads, it was revealed this week that the Obama Administration has removed Iran and Hezbollah from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. This, despite their being responsible for the killing of hundreds of U.S. Marines, giving sanctuary to numerous members of al Qaeda and providing arms, financing, training, and other means of facilitating terror-related activities to numerous groups,

Why would he do this? One glaring reason is optics. It would look pretty bad for President Obama to ink a nuclear deal which ultimately allows Iran a pathway to developing nuclear weapons if they were still listed as a state sponsor of terrorism. Being on the list also means a host of economic and trade sanctions. So there is potential that such a designation was tabled as a chip in negotiations.

We remind readers that Iran was behind Hezbollah's bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1983 which killed 241, the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847 from Cairo to San Diego during which U.S. Navy diver Robert Stethem was murdered, and the 1988 capture, brutal torture and hanging of U.S. Marine Colonel William R. Higgins. Then we have the estimated 1,000+ U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq by Iranian proxies. In 2007 during hearings before congress, then Army General David Patraeus testified that Ir anian Republican Guard Quds Forces had been provided training, equipment, arms, and funding to terrorists in Iraq. Then there is the ongoing influx of funding, weapons, and training provided by Iran to Syrian government forces and Iran's backing of the Houti rebels who brought down the government in Yemen just weeks ago. And this week in an article appearing in the Washington Post, David Patraeus

argues that the foremost threat to Iraq's long-term stability and the broader regional equilibrium is not the Islamic State; but rather, the Iranian back Shiite militias. And finally, to this very day, Iran continues to declare they ultimately seek to destroy the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

In the end, the removal of Iran and Hezbollah from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism is a stunning development which will have dramatic global and regional implications for for U.S. citizens and interests and that of our allies.

As always, AlertsUSA continues to monitor developments in this region, as well as its impact on the domestic terrorism threat environment and will immediately notify service subscribers of changes in the overall threat picture as it applies to U.S. citizens and interests as events warrant.

    Obama: Christians Threaten America

    21 Oct 2015
    Barack Obama
    by Bryan Fischer

If you have ever wondered whether President Obama has an abiding hostility to people of Christian faith, wonder no more. He believes we are a threat to national security.

If you are a sincerely devoted follower of Jesus Christ, your president believes you are a potential domestic terrorist. I do not exaggerate.

In a gathering at George Washington University this week, Obama’s assistant attorney general for national security, John Carlin, revealed that the Department of Justice is creating a brand new position just to monitor us. The position, domestic terrorism counsel, will be created to combat the “real and present threat” of domestic terrorism.

Carlin lauded the work of the thoroughly discredited Southern Poverty Law Center, which is so blatantly and maliciously biased against Christians that other parts of Obama’s administration – the FBI, the Pentagon, and the U.S. Army – are getting as far away from the SPLC as they can. Default Re: Is Obama a Muslim?

The Innocence of Barack Hussein Obama

Posted on March 23, 2016 by Baron Bodissey

Before I get into tonight’s main topic, two things need to be said:

    1. There is no way to determine whether Barack Obama is a Muslim. At least not yet.
    2. What difference, at this point, does it make?

As has often been noted, whenever President Obama enacts policies that affects Muslims, his decisions always favor Muslims. Always.

So, for all practical purposes, we may consider him a Muslim.

And every now and then he does or says something that functions as what the defense policy analysts might call an “indicator”. One such tell emerged yesterday when Mr. Obama voiced his thoughts about the terror attacks in Brussels:

“The thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the people of Belgium and we stand in solidarity with them in condemning these outrageous attacks against innocent people,” Obama said.

For those who follow the Great Jihad closely, one word in that sentence leaps out: innocent. Why “innocent”? It’s a peculiar turn of phrase, if you think about it. A political leader might be expected to refer to the victims as “civilians”. But “innocent”? Is there a way that the dead and wounded could somehow be considered “guilty”?

Actually, there is: they could be non-Muslims. If you are a Muslim, and you obey Islamic law, then you believe the “murder of innocents” means “to kill Muslims without just cause”.

So there were presumably Muslims among the dead and wounded yesterday in Brussels — those were the “innocent people”.

This is the standard formula used by Muslim spokesmen after any Islamic terror attack: “We condemn all forms of terrorism. Islam forbids the killing of innocent people.” This is what you hear from CAIR, the OIC, the MCB, etc. When they say “innocent”, it’s a code word for “Muslim”.

Was Barack Hussein Obama using the word that way? There’s no way for us to tell, of course; it’s just another data point. And a lot of similar data points have accumulated over the past seven years.

The following summary is drawn from a comprehensive analysis of Islamic law by Maj. Stephen Coughlin.

There are certain terms of art that have variant meanings under Islam. Sometimes their use is dishonest, but not always. Islam is a religion of peace. Peace in Islam comes from submission to Islam, so when do you have true peace?

When the entire world has been brought under Islamic law. There is an Islamic requirement to bring peace to the world, but when peace has been brought to the whole world, it means the whole world is now under the rule of Dar al-Islam. Muslims have a different understanding of “peace” than we do, but within the context of Islamic law, it makes complete sense.

Brigadier S. K. Malik’s important work The Quranic Concept of War was published in English in 1979. Malik was a serving brigadier general in the Pakistani Army. The then-chief of staff of the army, Zia ul-Haq, said the book would server as the army’s doctrine. So Gen. Malik’s work was more than just his opinion; it contained the operational guidelines for the Pakistani military.

When Gen. Malik talks about the Quranic concept of war (pp 57-5, he includes the four following quotes from the Koran to make his point.[1]

I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. (Qur’an 8: 12)

Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers. (Qur’an 3: 151)

And those of the People of the Book who aided them, Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts, so that some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners [the women and the children]. And he made you heirs of their lands, their houses, and their goods, and of a land which ye had not frequented (before). And Allah has power over all things. (Qur’an 33: 26-27)

Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the Godly): they will never frustrate them. Against them make ready your strength of the utmost of your power, including steeds of war to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. (Qur’an 8:56-60)

Given that Allah “made you heirs of their lands…and of a land which ye had not frequented”, it could hardly be said that Mohammed and his followers were engaged in defensive warfare. On the contrary, the forces of Islam mounted an offensive and conquered another tribe or group.

It is well-established that this revelation is associated with the conquest of a Jewish tribe known as the Banu Qurayza.[2] All the men were beheaded, the women and children were taken into custody, and the land was confiscated.

In the final citation, Allah strikes terror “into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah any your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know.” When someone insists that Islam does not permit the killing of noncombatants, we need to remember this verse.

Interestingly enough, the argument can be made that Islam defines “noncombatants” as innocent Muslims. The infidel’s status is harbi, “enemy”, because he comes from the territory of war. Therefore, according to the inexorable logic of these Koranic verses — the uncreated word of Allah — there is no such thing as a noncombatant infidel. All non-Muslims in Dar al-Harb are enemies, and the believer may and should strike terror into their hearts and kill them when necessary.

Based on the above citations from the Koran, Brigadier General S. K. Malik concludes:[3]
TERROR struck into the hearts of the enemies is not only a means; it is an end in itself. Once a condition of terror into the opponent’s heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be achieved. It is the point where the means and the end meet and merge. TERROR is not a means of imposing decision upon the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose upon him.

So Malik concludes that the Quranic concept of war is terror, with four quotes from the Koran to back up his argument. On page 60, the last paragraph of the last page of the same chapter is very important:

Terror cannot be struck into the hearts of an army by merely cutting its lines of communication or depriving it of its routes to withdraw. It is basically related to the strength or weakness of the human soul. It can be instilled only if the opponent’s Faith is destroyed. Psychological dislocation is temporary; spiritual dislocation is permanent. … To instill terror into the hearts of the enemy, it is essential, in the ultimate analysis, to dislocate his faith. An invincible faith is immune to terror.[4]

The object of jihad is therefore the destruction of faith. It aims to destroy our faith in our God, in our government, in our legal system, in our entire world.

Once we lose faith in our world, we become subject to Dawah — an mission of outreach to convert to Islam.
