Clinton Plotting Tea Party Counterattack

Last week, former President Clinton was rushed to the hospital in New York for an emergency heart operation. Medical experts said the procedure was “relatively routine” and predicted Clinton would make a full recovery and be back to his regular schedule soon. To the public, at least, that schedule revolves chiefly around earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. In fact, some Clinton associates cited the work in Haiti as exacerbating his heart condition. Clinton money man, Terry MacAuliffe, even noted that Clinton’s Haiti work continued right up until the operation:

Democrat colleague Terry McAuliffe said Mr Clinton had participated in a conference call on earthquake relief efforts as he was wheeled into the operating theatre.

We’ll take Terry’s word on that. But, Big Government has learned of at least one other conference call/meeting around this time. A meeting of former Clintonistas and senior Democrat political operatives to coordinate a push-back to the burgeoning tea party movement. Consider it a Democrat party relief effort.

So, the Clinton Empire is planning to strike back.

Big Government has learned that Clintonistas are plotting a “push/pull” strategy. They plan to identify 7-8 national figures active in the tea party movement and engage in deep opposition research on them. If possible, they will identify one or two they can perhaps ‘turn’, either with money or threats, to create a mole in the movement. The others will be subjected to a full-on smear campaign. (Has MSNBC already been notified?)

Big Government has also learned that James Carville will head up the effort.

Obviously, there is no love lost between Obama and the Clinton machine. It may at first seem odd that Clinton would rush to Obama’s defense, but the tea party movement poses a threat far beyond the immediate goals of the Obama Administration.

The tea party movement could evolve into a new political realignment, one founded on a belief in limited government and less government interference in the economy. The Progressive agenda, which has been painstakingly built up over the last three decades, could be left in tatters.

As the Clinton’s know, “politics ain’t beanbag.” Expect the counterattack soon. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

The former President, along with the “Ragin’ Cajun” have made an art form out of twisting facts and turning them into political dirty tricks.
Back in the 1992 primary campaign, Jewish voters began receiving mail denouncing William Jefferson Clinton’s chief rival of the moment, Senator Tsongas. Tsongas had just won the New Hampshire primary. Super Tuesday in 1992 was March 10, later than this year’s February 5. All of a sudden, there were reports that the Clinton campaign blanketed condominium communities in South Florida with leaflets accusing Tsongas of being lukewarm in his support of Israel. The leaflets accused Tsongas of voting for a pro-Syria, and implicitly anti-Israel, resolution in the Senate. The attack omitted the fact that Senators Javits and Ribicoff had voted the same way, as had Senators Jackson and Kennedy — pro Israel stalwarts all.
Before the New Hampshire primary in 2008, The Clinton hit squad sent a mailing targeting women that said Obama would not “stand up and protect” a women’s right to choose because he had voted “present”—but not yes—on a few abortion-related bills in the Illinois legislature. “I’ve kept most mailers I got from every presidential candidate this year, and that mailer was the absolute worst,” wrote New Hampshire blogger Peter Glenshaw. “Never mind that Obama has a 100 percent approval rating from Planned Parenthood in Illinois. Never mind that Planned Parenthood asked him to vote ‘present’ on those bills.”

By mid-May 2008 the foundering Clinton campaign began to rely on the desperate pitch to “superdelegates.” Two things then happened: Bill Clinton played the race card even more crudely, and Sidney Blumenthal, a former White House aide to Bill Clinton, claimed that Michelle Obama had been caught on tape using the word whitey. To cite Heilemann and Halperin again:
“Blumenthal was obsessed with the ‘whitey tape,’ and so were the Clintons, who not only believed that it existed but felt that there was a chance it might emerge in time to save Hillary. ‘They’ve got a tape, they’ve got a tape,’ she told her aides excitedly.”

There was no tape, there was only a well trained hit squad which is now poised to attack a grassroots movement. Which tells you something we already know, the progressive movement will destroy anybody to get their way. Just as they attacked a Plumber named Joe, they will go after every one of us “little guys.” Because in the end, it not about us little individuals, its about their vision of a collective.

Marxist Psychology Today Blogger Demonizes Tea Partiers as 'Paranoid'

During the final years of the Soviet Union many political dissidents weren't sent to slave labor camps as happened in the bad old Stalin era if they weren't outright liquidated. Instead, their divergence from the official party line was viewed as some sort of mental disorder that must be treated, usually with forced confinement in mental institutions which were little more than prisons. And now we have a Marxist blogger for Psychology Today who proposes [1] that Tea Party participants suffer from a mental disorder. The funniest thing is that when one reads the rantings of Michael Bader, he appears like Captain Queeg on the witness stand. The more he writes, the less rational he sounds. Take a look at just the first sentence of Bader's extended rant and guess who comes off as sanity challenged. BTW, the word "f---ers" in his primal scream article is fully spelled out:

These tea-party folks seem to most liberals-well, to most of us who live in the "reality community," or, as I like to call it, "reality"-like crazy f---ers.

Bader doesn't hide his outright hate for the tea party folks:

I hate these folks but I also understand them. And, well, uh, I also empathize with them. They share the same psychology as the paranoid patients I treat every day. The only difference is that the paranoid beliefs of the tea-party movement are political while those in my consulting room are of a more personal nature.

So it's all just a mental disorder, just like what the Soviet dissidents suffered from. Bader then proposes to "understand" the tea partiers...so as to fight them:

I have come to have empathy for the tea-party'ers, even as I despise their influence and work hard to defeat their ideology. It's crucial that progressives do likewise because if we don't understand the ways that decent, god-fearing, and victimized people can come to espouse such a dangerous ideology, we won't be able to fight them effectively.

And now a paranoid theory about tea parties put forward by one Michael Bader:

For new tea-party members, however, the drift toward paranoia is facilitated by the right-wing media machine that offers several ready-made narratives perfectly designed to help its consumers clear up their confusion, understand their helplessness, absolve them of any blame, and offer a way out. The conspiratorial alliance of business and government, a growing tyranny intended to disenfranchise, disarm, and exploit ordinary citizens, secret pacts to overthrow the constitution, etc. all currently led by an un-American, godless, colored, elitist, contemptuous, foreigner--Barack Hussein Obama. A grim and frightening picture of the world to be sure.

Yeah, a "right-wing media machine." Now who is being paranoid, Mr. Bader?
A few final swings with the butterfly net by Bader:

The "problem" is that tea-party activists move from legitimate feelings and normal longings to paranoid political positions that are dangerous and cruel. But because these positions serve an important psychological function, because they resolve an emotional dilemma, they can't be changed by rational argument.
...Perhaps the progressive movement shouldn't waste its time dealing with the tea-party movement except as a spur to get our own house-and movement-in order. A legitimate argument can be made that these people are, simply, the enemy and that our challenge is to build progressive majorities immune to their sabotage and interference. But I would argue that to the extent we want to reach people who are drawn to tea-party, patriot, libertarian, and other right wing movements but are not yet hard-line ideologues, or prevent others from becoming so, we have to begin with empathy. We have to get inside their heads, figure out how their choices are reasonable from their point of view.

As for the claim by your humble correspondent that Bader is a Marxist, is that some sort of scurrilous "McCarthyite" charge? Nope. The person who claims that Michael Bader is a Marxist is...Michael Bader as you can read in his biography [2]:

I was always a lefty. My father was the only liberal in a family and community of racist republicans. My older brother went to U.C. Santa Barbara in 1967 and gave an adoring younger brother regular reports from “the front.’ And I went to Berkeley from 1970 to 1976. ‘Nuff said.
At first, politics for me was all about the New Left, Marxism, and political economy. I was “out-there,” active in various extremist groups, and fully engaged at the same time with the counter-culture. Eventually, with the decline of the New Left, I gave up being active in the public political world and chose a profession—psychology. I never gave up my sentiments or beliefs, but couldn’t figure out how to blend them with my work, since I don’t believe that good therapy should have a political agenda in any way.

Got that? Bader still clings the the stale economic beliefs of a discredited 19th century deadbeat who never held a regular job and spent his days jotting down impractical rantings in a London library reading room while hitting up his friends for money. And yet Bader, who claims to be based in reality, continues to cling to those same beliefs as subscribed to by the likes of Lenin, Stalin, Castro, and Hugo Chavez.

A Blacks vs. Tea Party Free-for-All on the Mall?

Does this mean that NAACPers, Urban Leaguers and labor organizers are all going to show up on August 28 to physically contend with Beck’s Tea Partyers for possession of the hollowed ground on the Mall? Not a chance, if for no other reason than President Obama would not approve, and you can be certain that labor and established Black organizations will do or say nothing to discommode Mr. Obama, no matter how much he disrespects their constituencies.

Plus, let’s be real: Marc Morial and Ben Jealous are not really fighting mad at the Tea Party’s white nationalists, anyway. These are men from the “moral uplift” school of Black politics, which for more than 150 years has held that Black progress comes when whites are convinced that African Americans are as “civilized” as whites imagine themselves to be.

The strategy has never worked except on the token level, but – Keep hope alive!



Let us also not dwell on the question: Why, since August 28 is so important an anniversary, did the NAACP, the National Urban League and Sharpton’s National Action Movement collectively fail to book the date in a timely fashion? Frankly, it’s embarrassing – or ought to be – as tardiness and triflingness reflect badly on a group’s state of “moral uplift.”

“The leadership of the NAACP, the Urban League and most of organized labor are incapable of making demands of this president.”

The real questions surrounding August 28 and October 2 go to the intentions of the Black and labor organizers. The leadership of the NAACP, the Urban League and most of organized labor are incapable of making demands of this president. The most they are willing to muster is a noisy bunch of Obama well-wishers – which, by encouraging the president to believe there is no threat from the Left, inflicts additional harm to the cause of Blacks and labor. The presence of Al Sharpton in a Washington demonstration signifies that the organizers are in Obama’s pocket, like the Reverend, who is a virtual extension of the White House political team and gets paid to hawk Obama’s education policies.

Unwilling to confront the power of the Obama White House with actual demands, or to mobilize their constituents in opposition to his pro-corporate policies, the “civil rights” groups instead seek to rally around the president against Tea Party attacks. This allows them to appear to be engaged in grand battles on behalf of The Race, jousting with cardboard “cracker” villains like Beck and Rush Limbaugh, while avoiding confrontation with real authority in Democratic Party form.

Meanwhile, Marc Morial laments: ''One of the things that is so curious to me is the way that groups on the right have been very, very observant and have begun to utilize the tactics of the civil rights movement – marching, organizing in churches, things that were the backbone of civil rights advocacy in the 1950s and 1960s.”

What’s much more “curious” – although no mystery – is that groups that claim to bear the legacy of a previous age’s “civil rights advocacy” no longer have any demands to make of Power – especially Power in a Black face – and, therefore, find no reason to organize masses of people in churches or anyplace else.

“The ‘civil rights’ groups seek to rally around the president against Tea Party attacks.”

As long as there are Glenn Becks, the Morials and Jealouses can claim that defense of the Black president is a defense of Black people as a whole, and thus the top priority. There will, of course, always be Becks – therefore, the established Black organizations will never confront Obama.

So, the Big Three “civil rights” groups – the NAACP, NUL and NAM – talk a big fight with Glenn Beck for August 28 (from which they will surely retreat, for their own and Obama’s reasons) and plan a march with labor on October 2, where they will be careful not to offend the president who has treated them with such disdain.

But again, Keep hope alive! – hope for the presence of rogue elements in the line of march, hardcore unionists who know lies when they hear them, impolite activists eager to shout out substantive demands, “uncivilized” Black folks with minds stuck on freedom, and standup organizers willing to Speak Truth to Power, no matter how the Mis-leadership Class tries to weasel out of its responsibilities.

Whitewashing black racism; Shabazz: “Prepare for war”

My column today blasts the MSM for its silence over the black racial demagogues of the New Black Panther Party and its ilk.

Before I get to the column, some context:

Longtime readers and viewers know I go way back with the poisonous race hustlers of the New Black Panther Party.

Two months after the 9/11 attacks, I reported on Muslim NBPP head Malik Shabazz’s disgusting anti-Semitic, anti-American diatribe at the National Press Club.

He has a long history of Jew-bashing, including gems like this:

“If 3,000 people perished in the World Trade Center attacks and the Jewish population is 10 percent, you show me records of 300 Jewish people dying in the World Trade Center…We’re daring anyone to dispute its truth. They got their people out.”

In 2006, we at Hot Air covered Shabazz’s jihad-pandering protest and call to arms at the Danish embassy in Washington, D.C. over the Mohammed Cartoons.

In 2007, Shabazz called me a “whore” on Fox News because I called out his racial hucksterism in the Duke lacrosse fake rape case.

In 2008, I reported on Shabazz’s election day threats to voters and have covered the corruptocrat Obama DOJ’s role in dropping default judgments against the Philly NBPP thugs ever since. In 2009, I reported on the “Colored Only: No Whites Allowed” sign at NBPP defendant Jerry Jackson’s house and the murderous rap propaganda posted by the NBPP Trenton chapter.

DOJ whistleblower J. Christian Adams blew the lid off the case in late June in the Washington Times and his appearances on Fox News with Megyn Kelly have provoked Shabazz’s poison tongue once again. Now, he’s threatening to go after limited government activists and moaning about “Zionist conspiracies” at Fox News.

In May, Shabazz told his black power cohorts to “prepare for war,” via Bunkerville.

“With the rise of the Tea Party, the white-right and other racist forces. With gun sales nationwide at an all time high amongst whites, with a mood that is more anti-Black than any time recent, it is imperative that we organize our forces, pool our resources and prepare for war!” Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, Esq. Whitewashing black racism

Why haven’t national media outlets reported on the vile and violent rants of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) thugs whose 2008 voter intimidation tactics got a pass from the Obama administration? Simple: Radical black racism doesn’t fit the Hope and Change narrative. There’s no way to shoehorn Bush-bashing into the story. And, let’s face it, exposing the inflammatory rhetoric of the left does nothing to help liberal editors and reporters fulfill their true calling — embarrassing the right.

This week, Justice Department whistleblower J. Christian Adams came forward with damning public testimony about how Obama officials believe “civil rights law should not be enforced in a race-neutral manner, and should never be enforced against blacks or other national minorities.” In the wake of Adams’ expose on how the Obama DOJ abandoned default judgments against the NBPP bullies for the sake of politically correct racial politics, a shocking video clip of one of the lead defendants in the Philadelphia voter intimidation case resurfaced on the Internet. It shows bloodthirsty King Samir Shabazz during a 2009 National Geographic documentary interview spewing:

“You want freedom? You’re gonna have to kill some crackers! You’re gonna have to kill some of their babies!”

These NBPP death threats and white-bashing diatribes are nothing new to those who have tracked the black supremacy movement. In August 2009, nearly a year ago, I reported on a sign on display outside NBPP defendant (and elected member of Philadelphia’s 14th Ward Democratic Committee) Jerry Jackson’s home. It reads: “COLORED ONLY: No Whites Allowed.”



In July 2009, I interviewed poll watcher/witness Christopher Hill, whom Shabazz and Jackson called “cracker” several times while Shabazz brandished his baton.

“They physically attempted to block me,” Hill recounted. He also saw a group of elderly ladies walk away from the polling site without voting while the duo preened in front of the entrance. “If you’re a poll watcher, you shouldn’t be dressed in paramilitary garb,” Hill said, as he wondered aloud at what would have happened if he had showed up in the same sort of costume.

In May 2009, I reported on the affidavit of civil rights attorney and poll watcher Bartle Bull, who witnessed the NBPP thuggery in Philadelphia and reported on billy club-wielding Shabazz’s election day boast: “You’re about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.”

In the fall of 2008, just days before he showed up to hector white poll workers, Shabazz told the Philadelphia Inquirer:

“I’m about the total destruction of white people. I’m about the total liberation of black people. I hate white people. I hate my enemy… The only thing the cracker understands is violence… The only thing the cracker understands is gunpowder. You got to take violence to violence.”

The desire to kill, subordinate and demonize white people is a staple of NBPP propaganda. An NBPP Trenton, N.J., chapter “block party” music video posted on YouTube calls on black followers to “bang for freedom,” “put the bang right into a cracker’s face,” and “if you’re going to bang, bang for black power … hang a cracker … if you’re going to bang, bang on the white devil … burying him near the river bank with the right shovel … community revolution in progress … banging for crackers to go to hell, we don’t need em.”

Chanting “Black Power,” Minister Najee Muhammad, national field marshal for the New Black Panther Party, and Uhuru Shakur, local chairman of the Atlanta NBPP chapter, issued a pre-Election Day 2008 threat to “racists and other angry whites who are upset over an impending Barack Obama presidential victory.” Said Muhammad: “Most certainly, we cannot allow these racist forces to slaughter our babies or commit other acts of violence against the black population, nor our black president.”

That’s rich, given that the only racists talking about slaughtering babies are the ones with New Black Panther Party patches on their puffed chests.

If a Tea Party activist threatened to kill the babies of his political opponents, it wouldn’t just be front-page news. It would be the subject of Democrat-led congressional investigations, a series of terrified New York Times columns about the perilous “climate of hate,” a Justice Department probe by Attorney General Eric Holder, a domestic terror alert from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, and another Important Teachable Moment Speech/Summit from Healer-in-Chief Barack Obama.

But with the racism shoe on the other foot, Team Obama and its media water-carriers are exhibiting the very racial cowardice Holder once purported to condemn. Thanks to Obama’s feckless Department of Injustice, these black supremacist brutes are free to show up on the next national Election Day at polling places in full paramilitary regalia with nightsticks, hurling racist, anti-American epithets at those exercising their right to vote and at those protecting the integrity of the electoral process.

Michelle Obama Rouses NAACP Before Vote Condemning 'Racist' Elements of Tea Party

First Lady Michelle Obama brought renewed energy to the NAACP today, delivering the keynote speech at the annual convention one day before the nation's largest civil rights group is expected to condemn what it calls racist elements in the Tea Party movement.



The nation's largest and oldest civil rights organization will vote on the resolution Tuesday during its annual convention in Kansas City, Mo. In addition to jobs and the economy, anti-Tea Party activism has been a large focus of the gathering, a charge that conservative leaders say is driven solely by a political agenda.

In her speech, the first lady focused on the issue of childhood obesity and her "Let's Move" initiative, but outside of her remarks, anti-Tea Party activism has been a key focus of the gathering, which conservative leaders say is driven solely by a political agenda.

Tea Party members have used "racial epithets," have verbally abused black members of Congress and threatened them, and protestors have engaged in "explicitly racist behavior" and "displayed signs and posters intended to degrade people of color generally and President Barack Obama specifically," according to the proposed resolution.

"We're deeply concerned about elements that are trying to move the country back, trying to reverse progress that we've made," NAACP spokeswoman Leila McDowell told ABC News. "We are asking that the law-abiding members of the Tea Party repudiate those racist elements, that they recognize the historic and present racist elements that are within the Tea Party movement."

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, in coordination with 170 other groups, including labor unions, is planning a protest march in Washington, D.C., Oct. 10 as the next step in building momentum against the Tea Party.

The "One Nation" march is designed as an antithesis to the Tea Party, and it's about "pulling America together and back to work," McDowell said.

"We see it as a threat to democracy. We see it as a threat to human rights. We certainly see it as a threat to civil rights," McDowell said, adding that the resolution will likely pass when it's voted upon Tuesday.

Supporters of the Tea Party movement have frequently faced charges of racism.

The most notable case is that of Kentucky GOP Senate hopeful Rand Paul , who came under fire in May for criticizing the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Paul said he supports the act and opposes discrimination, but added that the government doesn't have a right to tell private restaurant owners who they can and cannot serve.

"If we want to harbor in on private businesses and their policies, then you have to have the discussion about, 'Do you want to abridge the First Amendment as well,'" Paul said on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow show. "If you decide that restaurants are publicly owned and not privately owned, then do you say that you should have the right to bring your gun into the restaurant, even though the owner of the restaurant says, well, no, we don't want to have guns in here."

In March, Tea Party protesters opposing the health care bill were alleged to have shouted racial slurs at black House members in the halls of Congress, a charge that Tea Party supporters say has not been proven. Liberal blogs have also seized on signs that have appeared in Tea Party protests, comparing President Obama to a monkey.

Tea Party leaders say the charges are misguided and are being fertilized by the left for the sole purpose of gaining political ground.

The Rev. C.L. Bryant, a former president of NAACP's Garland, Texas, chapter who is now a leading Tea Party activist said the idea that the Tea Party is racist or is trying to instigate a racist climate is "simply a lie."
"I have seen posters ... where every president from Reagan to Obama has been called a fascist," Bryant, who serves as a contributor to FreedomWorks, which organizes Tea Party groups, told ABC News. "Why is it that just because we have a black president, we are hyper-sensitive to posters at rallies?"

The NAACP wants to "create a climate where they can say that those on the right are in fact racist and those on the left are their saviors," he added. "This is very much what the liberal agenda is about."
Dale Robertson , a Tea Party activist who runs TeaParty.org and has himself been at the center of a race-related controversy, said the NAACP is merely pandering to the Democratic party.

"I find that the NAACP should be standing against the new Black Panther and their stance and yet instead of doing the right thing, they're doing the wrong thing by attacking people who feel government should be held accountable," Robertson said.

Tea Party members have used "racial epithets," have verbally abused black members of Congress and threatened them, and protestors have engaged in "explicitly racist behavior" and "displayed signs and posters intended to degrade people of color generally and President Barack Obama specifically," according to the proposed resolution.

This is bullshit. Andrew Breitbart has offered $100k for any video proof of this. No one has taken him up on his offer yet.

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI - FOX2now.com) - A political firefight is erupting between the NAACP and portions of the Tea Party movement. The NAACP is considering a resolution to condemn what it calls racist elements of the Tea Party.

The St. Louis Tea Party fired back with a resolution condemning the NAACP. Part of the condemnation involves an incident where Kenneth Gladney , an African-American Tea Party supporter was assaulted during a health care forum.

The controversy went national Monday night on Fox's O'Reilly factor. The show played a You Tube video of what appears to be an NAACP gathering in St. Louis where one of the speakers says Gladney would have been called an "Uncle Tom" back in the day.

Tea Party Is Dealt The Race Card

Racial Politics: The NAACP, in crafting a resolution condemning racism in the Tea Party movement, seems to have forgotten those Black Panthers with clubs intimidating voters and wanting to kill white people.

The "angry mobs" that reshaped the 2010 political landscape are angry white racist mobs, at least according to a resolution proposed by the NAACP at its annual convention this week in Kansas City, Mo.

The resolution calls on "all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era," said Anita Russell, head of the Kansas City chapter of the NAACP. "We need to realize it's really not about limited government." We suppose "tax cuts" is also code for racism.

The resolution comes after the late Sen. Robert C. Byrd, former grand kleagle of the Ku Klux Klan, was honored for his service to the nation that included leading the filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act, supported in greater percentages by Republicans in the House and Senate.

It also comes as the Civil Rights Commission tries to unravel why the Obama administration refuses to prosecute members of the New Black Panther Party who in 2008 stood outside a Philadelphia polling place, dressed in paramilitary garb, one brandishing a nightstick, and saying things like, "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker!"

One of the Black Panthers involved, King Samir Shabazz, can be seen in a 2009 National Geographic documentary interview saying: "You want freedom? You're gonna have to kill some crackers! You're gonna have to kill some of their babies." Or at least those racists who opposed ObamaCare.

The NAACP obviously hasn't talked to Kenneth Gladney, a black entrepreneur who was working as a vendor outside an Aug. 6, 2009, town hall forum called by Rep. Mel Carnahan, D-Mo., at Bernard Middle School in Mehlville, Mo. Gladney was punched in the face and pummeled by individuals wearing the purple T-shirts of the Service Employees International Union.

It was a summer of Tea Parties and growing town hall protests of administration plans to nationalize health care. Gladney thought he could make a few bucks selling flags from America's war of independence saying "Don't Tread on Me."

As Gladney recounted the incident on BigGovernment.com, the person shouted: "What kind of (N-word) are you?!" It met the classic definition of a hate crime, but the NAACP and the feds were nowhere to be found. Like the New Black Panthers, Gladney's assailants remain unpunished.

Last August, MSNBC tried to portray Tea Partyers as a bunch of bitter people clinging to their guns and religion and fearing people not like them, in a heavily edited video of someone described as a "white man" packing heat at one protest.

MSNBC's Contessa Brewer warned breathlessly that "there are questions about whether this has racial overtones ... white people showing up with guns." The unedited footage showed the man, who appeared at a health care rally outside President Obama's speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Phoenix, was in fact an African-American.

This may be a shock to Shabazz and the NAACP, but the Tea Party movement has black members. Lots of them, all concerned about ObamaCare's damage to the economy and the creeping socialism advanced by this administration. Like so many other Americans, they ask: "Where are the jobs?"

The proposed NAACP resolution says Tea Partyers "displayed signs and posters intended to degrade people of color generally and President Barack Obama specifically." Attacking the president's policies is not racism, though his defenders have tried to say so since Day One.

As the polls plummet for the president and his party, we suspect this is an attempt to stir up the Democrats' African-American base, just as the administration's war on Arizona over illegal aliens is designed to stir up Hispanic voters. It is a manufactured issue designed to be used against Tea Party candidates such as Sharron Angle in Nevada and Rand Paul in Kentucky.

Hope and change?

Video Proof: The NAACP Awards Racism–2010

Context is everything.

In this piece you will see video evidence of racism coming from a federal appointee and NAACP award recipient and in another clip from the same event a perfect rationalization for why the Tea Party needs to exist.



But first the context:

For the past week, Americans who consider themselves aligned with the Tea Party movement have suffered the indignity of being falsely labeled racist by the NAACP and their pro-bono publicity managers, the main stream media. The constant calls to “repudiate the racists from your ranks” have not only been insulting, but have also served to force a false standard upon America’s fastest-growing and most vibrant political movement that no other group could ever live up to nor would ever be asked to live up to.

While the media has chosen to do the Democratic Party’s bidding in allowing for the NAACP to negatively and falsely brand the millions strong, loosely affiliated tea party phenomenon as “racist”, the moral indignation over race and racism has taken center stage in a summer of economic and political discontent.

The NAACP, an undeniable weapon in the Democratic Party’s arsenal, was more than happy to exploit this nation’s sensitive racial schism for possible political gain. The Democratic Party and the NAACP, needless to say, are playing with fire.

From the beginning of the Tea Party movement, the Left, its aiders and abettors at MSNBC, the NY Times and other reliable left of center propaganda venues, raised race as the driving force behind the movement, even though the evidence was never there. MSNBC even egregiously cut off a black protester’s head in a photograph of a man carrying a gun to a rally in order to discuss that anti-black racism was rearing its head in America.

But it got even more blatant when Congressmen Andre Carson and John Lewis and other Congressional Black Caucus members staged a walk through the Tea Party crowd in front of the capitol the day before the health care vote. They claimed they were threatened by a violent mob and were subjected to the vile N word slur fifteen times. With the unpopularity of the toxic health care bill that the majority of Americans did not want, the Democrats needed a November strategy. Neutralizing the growing Tea Party movement with charges of racism was clearly its post-health care reform vote priority.

What they did not expect was that new media would successfully challenge the propaganda of the old media and the Congressmen’s racial smear.

First, my $100,000 video challenge for any evidence of racism was met with crickets. The CBC, looking for a fight, and taking to the airwaves to accuse the Tea Party of racism made a 180 degree turn and went into hiding when challenged on the truthfulness of the outrageous allegations. From camera hogs to ostriches in snap of a finger.

When the media chose to ignore that Representatives Lewis and Carson’s story was falling apart, we dug deeper. We found four videos from the moment Rep. Carson claimed the racist Tea Party incident occurred. The four videos, which include audio, show beyond a reasonable doubt that the incident was a manufactured lie. That lie that was supposed to be the centerpiece in the Democratic strategy to destroy the Tea Party. The videos had been available on YouTube almost immediately after the incident occurred and could have been found by any reporter interested in investigating the truthfulness of Rep. Carson’s claim.

While the media ignored these newsworthy revelations, the CBC remained in hiding and ignored a letter in good faith from the Tea Party Federation repudiating all forms of racism, but also asking for the CBC’s help in investigating the Capitol Hill incident. The silence from the CBC was deafening.

The NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus do not want racial harmony. They want political victory, and the race card is their Strativarius.

Three months later, the NAACP decided to “double-down” on the fabricated “”Tea Party/racism” narrative and has the gall to include the disproved Capitol Hill “N Word” non-incident as their formal condemnation of the Tea Party. Simply by snapping its figures, the mainstream media again parroted lies. The Tea Party was guilty until it proved itself innocent. A most un-American and, dare I say, culturally Marxist construct.

In fact, it’s worse. The media that provided the left a platform to accuse the Tea Party, all the while refusing to air any exculpatory evidence. Again, the mainstream media inserts itself as the number one weapon in the progressive weapons stash. Political correctness, as the Duke Lacrosse case exemplified, trumps all in PC America and her afflicted media.
But the new media will not be silenced. It will not allow for the main stream media to propagate hateful and hurtful lies in order to save the Democratic Party from the toxic choices it has made over the past few years. And by bringing up race, and demanding a zero tolerance of racism, the left, and the NAACP in particular, has opened itself up for scrutiny.

We are in possession of a video from in which Shirley Sherrod, USDA Georgia Director of Rural Development, speaks at the NAACP Freedom Fund dinner in Georgia. In her meandering speech to what appears to be an all-black audience, this federally appointed executive bureaucrat lays out in stark detail, that her federal duties are managed through the prism of race and class distinctions.

In the first video, Sherrod describes how she racially discriminates against a white farmer. She describes how she is torn over how much she will choose to help him. And, she admits that she doesn’t do everything she can for him, because he is white. Eventually, her basic humanity informs that this white man is poor and needs help. But she decides that he should get help from “one of his own kind”. She refers him to a white lawyer.

Sherrod’s racist tale is received by the NAACP audience with nodding approval and murmurs of recognition and agreement. Hardly the behavior of the group now holding itself up as the supreme judge of another groups’ racial tolerance.

The second video affirms the real reason there is tension between the Democratic Party and a growing mass of middle Americans — and it’s not because of race.

The NAACP which has transformed from a civil rights group to a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and social-justice politics, supports a new America that relies less on individualism, entrepreneurialism and American grit, but instead giddily embraces, the un-American notion of unaccountability and government dependence.

Shirley Sherrod, a federal appointee who oversees over a billion dollars of federal funds, nearly begs black men and women into taking government jobs at USDA — because they won’t get fired.

This is why the Democratic Party is scared. This is why the NAACP is scared. This is why black conservatives, previously marginalized as “Uncle Toms” by these progressive bullies, and shamefully, the NAACP, are coming out of the woodwork to join and, in many cases, lead the Tea Party movement.

The emerging Tea Party nation understands that the media has focused on the manufactured racial schism while intentionally ignoring the schism between free market thinkers and government expansionists, that the latter of which is brazen in its desire to transform America into a European-model welfare state with a healthy dose of socialism.

It’s unfortunate that the NAACP’s recent resolution and false accusations have forced us to show you video 1 when video 2 is the bigger problem. That’s not to say video 1 is not a problem, but this country can ill afford, in this time of economic peril, to waste our time poking and prodding at the racial hornet’s nest that was supposed to have been removed with this post-racial presidency. But now President Obama and the modern-day Democrat party reveal they are anything but post-racial.

Yet again, the juxtaposition of the real video evidence shown here versus the mainstream media’s straight faced reportage of the NAACP’s baseless accusations demonstrates that, once again, the American main stream media has asserted itself as the number one enemy of the truth, when the facts don’t fit the left-wing narrative. Like the NAACP, it has become no better than Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in its willingness to exploit race for political ends and their unflinching support of the Obama’s left-wing agenda.

Exclusive: Tea Party “Race” Issue Manipulated by the Media?

Who on earth could be calling me at 5:30am?

It was CNN.

After apologizing for the early call, the producer, almost giddy with excitement, said tea party spokesperson, Mark Williams made, “what some would call”, a racist comment on his blog about the NAACP.

Myself being a black spokesperson for the Tea Party Movement, CNN was requesting that I come on the air to address Mark's comment. I told the CNN producer that I had not read Mark's comment. The response was,

“I'll email it to you. Please read it and call me back.”

After reading Mark's comment, I told my wife,

“This is much ado about nothing. I am not going on the air allowing them to put me on the defensive defending Mark Williams.”

My beautiful, wonderful and wise wife replied,

“Do the interview, but do not defend Mark. Use this as an opportunity to defend the Tea Party Movement.”

It is truly unfortunate that some on our side are so easily put on the defensive. NAACP, president, Ben Jealous slandered millions of decent Tea Party patriots by saying we tolerate racist signs. We do not. Not one liberal mainstream media outlet demanded that Jealous produce the “Lynch Barack Obama” and “Lynch Eric Holder” signs he claimed to have seen. Thus, the liberal media are saying these violent racist signs exist and the tea partiers are guilty simply because Jealous says so.

Furthering their efforts to discredit the Tea Party Movement by portraying them as racist, the liberal media attacked our Mark Williams for a satirical comment on his blog. Mark is a personal friend who is not a racist; far from it. On his blog, Mark was making a point about the blatant hypocrisy and backwardness of the NAACP.

Meanwhile, the liberal media typically ignores “real racism” coming from the left. A member of the New Black Panther Party boldly proclaimed he hates crackers (white people) and they need to “kill more crackers”. Has the liberal media confronted the NAACP about denouncing the New Black Panthers' hate-filled racist statement? No, they have not.

And yet, folks on our side ran to the microphones to denounce Mark Williams and Tea Party Express, which is the most effective, ethical and powerful conservative voice of We The People. Dear Lord people, wake up and smell the liberal media manipulation!

As for those so-called racist signs, in my travels with Tea Party Express attending over 200 tea parties nationwide, I have not seen one overtly racist sign. Researchers have documented that the same negative images which were called patriotic and celebrated for exercising free speech when used against George Bush are now considered racist when used against Barack Obama. As far as democrats, the Obama administration and the liberal mainstream media are concerned, Obama's race trumps everything.

Blatantly assaulting our free speech as Americans, for the first time in U.S. history, we have a president of whom any and all criticism, satire and negative portrayals are attacked as racist. Offenders are severely punished (fired & etc.) and executed in the public square by Obama's Enforcers, the liberal mainstream media.

Falling into the defensive trap, some tea party leaders have suggested that we change our name. They say, “The term “tea party” has become so negative”. The liberal mainstream media is going to trash us no matter what we call ourselves, even if we change our name to the “Happy Go Lucky Really Nice People” movement.

News Flash! The goal of the liberal mainstream media is to “crush” the Tea Party Movement. Obama is their guy. The liberal mainstream media's unprecedented protection of Obama during the election, skipping the usual vetting process for one applying for the job of leader of the free world, won Obama the White House. Along with their racist support because he is black, the liberal mainstream wholeheartedly embraces Obama's socialist/progressive agenda.

Thus, it is foolish for us tea party patriots to pander to our enemy, the liberal mainstream media. Relentlessly, the liberal mainstream media Obama-ites and Progressivism religious zealots will distort, lie and do whatever necessary to divide and conquer us. Prominent Black Activist Admits Branding Tea Party Racist Is Effective Tool For NAACP & Democrats

Prominent black activist Mary Frances Berry admitted today that accusing the tea party activists of being racists is an effective tool for the democrats and far left organizations.

Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness.

And, there you have it. Democrats are flinging the r-word as a political maneuver. We all knew it. Now they admit it.
