These people, they are the same bozos who LISTEN to Alex Jones and his diatribes about the US government, the Jews, the New World Order, the "Blue Helmets" (UN for those of you who dunno what that meant).

This isn't about "Christian Militias" and lest anyone get that idea people on BOTH sides of this need to pull their heads right out of their asses.

The MEDIA might be calling them, and certainly they might have some Christians in their midst, but these people are followers of fools like Alex Jones.

I see your concern and yes I agree with your point.

However, I don’t believe AJ is a Kook. I think he is a self-educated radio entertainer proliferating his views, shows and documentaries.

Everyone has the right to free speech, even when we don't agree with it and even if his rants go into conspiracy mongering in ways promote himself and his shows.

There are many things he spouts off we can all agree on. It’s when he twists them into a conspiracy theory that sensationalizes the truth for ratings. This is where I have issues with him, although some of his analysis may come true under this administration.

I saw this start when he began modulating his message during the early GW Bush years to try and centralize his message after the Clinton administration to build ratings.

He had a healthy following during the Clinton years but then who believes we may be living in a Police State when conservatives finally won with a majority in office?

Then he sold out the Right and began patronizing the Left with talking points such as Anti-war, Neo-con and more.

He totally ignored the Socialist, Progressives and Communists radicals he embraced and gave them much fodder in exchange for near stardom as Bush’s popularity declined.

They say birds of a feather flock together, when this canary stops chirping in the coal mine along with a few others we will know as they say…

and so it begins.

ADRIAN, Mich. (WXYZ) - The FBI says they have arrested the final suspect in the Hutaree case.

The arrest of Josh Stone, son of the group's leader David Stone, came after a standoff in North Adams Village, about 30 miles from the site of Saturday's raid in Adrian. The younger Stone has been on the run since the raid.

Agents say Stone was hiding in a home with 5 other people. He was coaxed out when agents played messages from the Stone family over a loudspeaker system

The five other people in the house were also taken into custody. It is not clear what connection, if any, they have to the Hutaree organization. It is also not yet clear if they will face any charges in the case.

Several members of Hutaree, a religious militia group based out of Lenawee County, are in court facing federal charges that include conspiracy and attempting to use weapons of mass destruction.

Nine people group members have been charged with a list of federal crimes. Seven of the suspects appeared in court Monday morning to be indicted.

Arrests were made over the weekend after the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the Joint Terrorism Task Force took part in raids around Adrian that may be connected to a religious militia group known as "Hutaree."

In a federal indictment, the government says the group is an anti-government, extremist organization that planned war with the United States. It is also alleged that the group wanted to kill members of law enforcement.

Federal charges include Seditious Conspiracy, Attempt to Use Weapons of Mass Destruction, Teaching/Demonstrating Use of Explosive Materials and two counts of Carrying, Using and Posessing a Firearm During and in Relation to a Crime of Violence.

The nine people named in the indictment are as follows:

The leader of the group is David Stone Sr., and is known by group members as "Captain Hutaree."

His ex-wife, Donna Stone, talked with Action News about Stone.

"He's got a temper. He can get radical. He wants things done his way," Donna Stone told Action News.

Investigators say group members have been meeting regularly to conduct military-style training in order to prepare for war with the government, law enforcement and federal workers.

Brittany Bryant, the woman who is engaged to David Stone Jr. - son of the group's leader, says the group isn't dangerous.

"I don't think they're dangerous. If they wanted to do something they would have already done something," says Brittany Bryant.

The FBI conducted multiple raids throughout Saturday and into Sunday, with one of them centered on a property where known members of the militia live.

Helicopters were spotted in the sky for much of the night Saturday, and agents set up checkpoints throughout the area, including in Sand Creek and Clayton in Lenawee County. Witnesses tell Action News that it was like a small army had descended on the area.

A command center, including two satellite trucks and a radio tower, had been set up at the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department in Ann Arbor. It has since been dismantled.

Sunday, authorities also blocked off roads in Dover Township, while they gathered evidence from a home.

The group's web site shows training videos of men wearing camouflage, carrying rifles, and maneuvering through rough terrain. The site also includes information similar to a manifesto, that says members need to be ready for the Anti-Christ and that Jesus wants members to be ready to defend themselves with the sword.

Authorities are expected to release more information about the investigation early this week.

An official with FBI has also said two people were arrested Saturday in Ohio, and one person was arrested in Illinois.

Good, glad you see my point. Self-educated? He's not educated, he's IGNORANT of facts.

That's been my point on this site from day one.

Intelligence is one thing. Understanding is another, but knowing and understanding FACTS is the correct thing.

Spouting Conspiracy theory is NOT intelligent, it's NOT reasonable and it's not even HELPFUL to anyone when you're continually passing information that isn't true.

He is one of the main people who pushed the old "Concentration Camps" in America BS. It was then BS and it is STILL BS.

Freedom of speech? That doesn't include inciting riots or wars, it doesn't include inciting religious war against the government.

With Freedom of Speech comes Responsibility. If you are not responsible with your speech, (eg ACCURATE for instance) then you can and probably will be responsible and held responsible for the outcome.
