Default I Need A New Wallet

As the title states, I need to get a new wallet. My current one is a rather cheap leather one about 6-7 years old and badly falling apart.

    In looking, I've found 3 I like:

I'm leaning toward the OSOE wallet. I know (from that holster Backstop gave me! ) they make quality gear. It is also the least expensive and a nice simple design. Plus it comes in Multicam!

Anyone have any of these or have any other similar suggestions?

I'm no help. My last wallet I bought in Turkey and the one before that in Florance Italy. Both at leather markets, not cheap SE Asian crap.

I'm always looking for a better wallet also.

That Wallet JR is kinda big. I carry in my front pocket sometimes at work to keep from losing my wallet, and it's too big for that - at least for me. But there's no denying it was well made.

OSOE - can't ever go wrong with that.

But I gotta have a small pocket inside to carry a spare key. So I'm using an Eagle Creek trifold. HATE trifold, but that's all I could find. Has held up for 2 yrs, so that's good in my world.

Matter of fact, I have a brand new spare around here somewhere. Bought them at REI.

It's also a little big for front pocket carry, but oh well.

Clothing Sales (on base) for years carried this dou fold canvas wallet that was perfect. But of course, they quit carrying them.

Got one that's all beat up in my range bag for club ID cards, etc.

I have never in my life bought a wallet.

    Ever.

I've always received them as gifts.

    Sorry, no help here.

I have had the same old cheap ass wallet for the last 6 years. My problem is filling it with paper with pictures of dead Presidents.

What a coincidence Luke, I seem to have the same problem!

I decided to go with the OSOE wallet especially after Backstop saying that the T.H.E. wallet is a bit oversized. I certainly don't need a big wallet making my already meager cash supplies look even smaller! The OSOE lifetime guarantee was what sealed the deal.

Only problem was that after ordering, I heard from OSOE and was informed that the only Multicam wallets they had in stock were done up with HOT PINK thread! Needless to say, I decided to wait until they've run a new batch to complete my order.

What's wrong with hot pink? Shows you're a sensitive guy!

Ryan, if you go here: http://www.tacticalresponsegear.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=58&products_id=3404 they list it as having it in "ACU camo" and "multicam."

And for the record, the TR Gear Store is one of the very few places I will order online IE: without making a phone call to confirm the stock status.

    Thier store is outstanding.

Thanks for the link Backstop. Only thing is they are tacking on a $5 premium for the Multicam pattern. Straight from OSOE, it is the flat $15 + shipping. Yes, I am that cheap!

My old one is falling apart but will hold up for a couple more weeks until OSOE has them available.

Will keep them bookmarked for future purchases though!
