The Republic is Over
We have lost 2 out of 3 of our freedoms in America

The values and virtues of America's generations past are not even close to what we have right now.
Let me correct that:
You are still the same. It's Washington that has changed.
They've already taken over health care.
Is there any greater control than that of deciding the fate of someone's life?
They also decide which businesses live and die through the financial bill...
So they control your life and your pursuit of happiness. There's only one missing piece: Liberty.
But they are coming for it.
It's only by the grace of God- and by you standing up and being heard- that they don't already have it.

Liberty?

If you want to see liberty, go to a country without so many cops. Like China. Yes, China. Tons of cops that are simply make work jobs. They don't do anything. They go home at 5pm. Seriously.

As long as you don't run afoul of the political machine, they don't _CARE_ what you do with a few glaring exceptions, like multiple children. Beyond that...no one gives a shit what you do. Want to jump off a building? No one will lift a finger to stop you. Want to make an unsafe addition to your house, no one cares.

We don't have liberty in the US. We just don't. We have some basic freedoms but they are seriously curtailed.

Hmmm...sounds like the growing benefits our government employees are starting to endure.

During our progressive transformational working for the government is starting to have better benefits than in the private sector.

But if your an exploited peasant in China working for an overseas company you may be exposed to a bit more laborious tasks. When you finally get to leave work it's to only go back to shared company dormitory rooms packed with 4 to 7 random co-workers.

If you're rumored to be seditious against the Government they have special places made just for you, but for a more liberating experience you could get the opportunity to take a ride in a van.

I helped start up our factory in China.

In Guangdong, where we were at, EVERYONE want to work for us. We paid more, we had AC, we only put 8 people per dorm room. The other companies in the park put 16.

US companies without Nike or Apple clout are held to a higher standard and must give more, do more and pay more. We also made the entire place safe by adding crash bars to doors, adding fire extinguishers, doing fire drills, etc.

Not all companies that do business in China are bad. I spent several months of my life in China and what I saw from Chinese companies was appalling.

You are correct not all companies are bad, we actually employ Chinese workers near that area.

I talk to them almost everyday.

Last year I was there visiting factories in the surrounding areas, we do pay more and they're lined up and willing to work unimaginable hours by our standards.
