yep i love football. i hope the win it all this year, so soo close last year. but we've come to expect that as fans.
Of course, I ended up working and didn't see any of the game. From what I heard on Sirius Radio it didn't sound like I missed too much.
.It is hard to believe that it is that time of year again! While I enjoy watching football on TV, I have never put much stock in the "pre-season." As always, the hope for a playoff bound team seems possible. It would seem that football has replaced baseball as the sport where hope springs eternal. Good luck to all, hopefully my Chiefs will play yours in the SuperBowl!

LOL! Not much traffic in this thread this season since 4-12 ain't exactly grounds for bragging. Hell the Brownies had a better record than us this year.
And it looks like Marvin Lewis is going to be around for another 2 seasons. This is good and bad.
Good because one of his conditions for staying were some major changes in how involved Mike Brown is in the operations of the Bengals. Lewis wanted more team level control and less front office control. Less Mike Brown is always good. Other concessions also apparently involved an indoor training facility, coaching changes, a larger scouting office and resources, and some player changes. So since Lewis is sticking around, it looks like these important changes will be happening.
The bad part of Marvin Lewis staying is that Marvin Lewis is staying. It would have been nice to get a coach in there that knows what they are doing like Cowher or Gruden who were both considering returning to coaching.
Oh well... We'll see what next season holds but I'm not too ecstatic.
WooHoo! Bengals' Offensive Coordinator Bob Bratkowski is history!
Let's see who the replacement is going to be...
