Systematic destruction of the USA from within continues unabated by our chief executive. Here is the latest example. MSM press reports that when it comes to nuclear-energy advancement in the USA, President Obama has mastered the arts of deception and self-contradition.

On one hand BHO uses reason to staunchly advocate expansion of nuclear power to meet the nation's expanding alternative enery needs, but on the other hand he uses politics and gamesmanship to staunchly oppose advancement of Yucca Mountain in Nevada as the preferred site to store the nation's rapidly increasing tonnage of dangerous (cancer) nuclear energy waste.

Located in the Nevada desert 90 miles NW of Las Vegas, Yucca Mountain was initially slated to open in 1998. G.W. Bush finally signed the legislation to build the repository there in 2002. Abandoning the project could leave taxpayers legally liable for up to $60 billion in wasted planning cost and legal damages. Under Obama Administration, the project barely clings to life.

In the meantime the President has formed the Blue Ribbon Commision for American Nuclear Future. This group has been charged with crafting proposals for long-term nuclear waste storage. At the same time chairman of NRC has directed agency scientists to halt formal review of the Yucca Mountain as the nuclear waste site.
